A big shoutout to Michaela and Louis, from the cashier, the service is Amazingly wonderful and friendly to assist all questions about the food I ordered. The place is clean and smells good.
I saw only two people working. One running the kitchen, grill and fryers. The other one rocking both the drive-thru and front house. I would say they might need extra help. But from what I seen, they had this handled. Wonderful service, clean and bright atmosphere.

I have always been a fan of Carl's Jr, however, today was an exceptionally good experience. Not only did I receive my Jalapeno Double burger extremely fast, and extremely delicious, but drive-thru employee, Jesus V, was extremely nice and helpful, and is a great asset to the Carl's Jr company. Thank you so much for the wonderful service. It's hard to find these days.

His enthusiasm and pride in his work were unmatched, and he even brought our food to us—something I’ve never experienced at a Carl's Jr restaurant. I would love to know how the company plans to recognize him because he deserves to be celebrated for his passion and dedication. I normally go trough the drive trough, but today I decided to stop by with my family around 2 pm and it was the best experience ever there was this wonderful young man name Joshua or Joseph extremely polite, attentive, focus, humble and with the best attitude and super hardworking guy, best costumer service ever . is very very rare to see people now a days with so many good qualities. This guy is something also. If i had restaurant i would definitely keep Joshua and promoted him .he has all the qualities of a great leader to lead . Carls Jr. a beautiful, beautiful place this specific location, throughout the chain has changed my perspective on fast food forever. It was so amazing, the food delicious, it was made with love and personality. It tasted AMAZING. Everything seasoned perfectly. Not only that, but the service here was incredible! A work, specifically by the name of JJ was really inspirational. He made the food taste even better with his positive attitude.
Yo so like the employee named JJ was the best worker I’ve ever seen. He was super nice, and told us a lot about himself. I recommend the Carl’s Jr over anything because the food and workers are amazing. 10/10 will come here every day!
If you haven't been to Carl's Jr and tried their Beyond Burger's your missing out. They are well, beyond great! The BBQ Spicy Beyond is my favorite but, the Super Star with Cheese is also fantastic. I hope they keep the BBQ one as it is only for a limited time. Today I opted for the Super Star with Cheese which is shown in this photo with the Zucchini well done and, they nailed it! I hope your not scared to try the beyond items because I don't think you will miss anything. I have tried a lot of different vegetarian items and this one is the best. Don't forget they have beyond sausage as well which is great.
I had amazing customer service at Carl’s Jr. The reason I am not fully satisfied with my experience at this wonderful place is due to the lack of buttered chicken shawarma. I am not pleased. The closest I got to buttered chicken shawarma was a greasy chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwich was fairly good, but I am struggling to find places with buttered chicken shawarma. I would really appreciate it if you guys added buttered chicken shawarma to the menu.
Very friendly staff. Not normal these days in fast food which says something. The only reason they don’t get a 5 star is because they’re no paper towels in the restroom so you are forced to touch the bathroom door with you bare hand. Some don’t care about that but a lot do.
If you're looking for Good food and fast, they have it. If you're looking for pleasant and courteous service, they have it. If you're looking for a pleasant and flowery atmosphere, they don't have it. The only bad thing I can share is the fact that they have for their drive-up window an AI available to take your order. I just had major surgery on my vocal cords so the AI could not understand a word I said where a live person was able to. Not to mention the AI is not programmed to understand other languages. In 29 palms they do get a number of visitors from out of the country. I think it Will be better as AI does improve.
You need more people for front of house. The ai is not sufficient to run your front of house with one person.

The food was on par but the a.i drive through lacked human care. And felt like we were talking to a robot 🤖 🙃 it also takes away jobs from people who actuallneed them just to what replace it it a.i b.s come on Carl's Jr do better. The staff was good all other aspects were good just the a.i was bad. Lowered the atmosphere 👌
I keep going between a 3 star and a 4 star rating. On one hand, the people that work there are really nice. The fries are always hot. The chicken strips are delicious. On the other, if you don't like onions on your burger, they don't care. Honestly, if this was a one off incident, I wouldn't care. It happens. Every time I go to this Carl's Jr, though, they load me up with onions even when I ask for them to leave them off. Granted they've started including all of our food now. So, that's positive. It seems like they've had a shift in employees for the better. Now if they'll just stop giving me onions.
Food was okay and staff was friendly. That said, the place was dirty... and I mean dirty... All the tables, the floor, the drink/soda station, the dividing walls.. and there was only one other customer in the dining area at the time. After cleaning off a table myself, my party ate, and we never saw and employee come out to the dining area to clean anything. We're left to wonder if the kitchen area is a dirty as the rest of the place..
Fairly decent tasting when you're craving Carl's Jr but the onion rings were excessively breaded and nothing in my bag was hot when I got it home 1 mile away in 97° weather - not sure what that's about. The joint wasn't busy but it took a good 5 minutes before anyone at the counter even acknowledged my presence. Mediocre, but not horrible.
It was ok. Nothing to write home about. Drive through window was dirty and the girl on the other side of it was not cheerful. I rarely take pictures but wish I would have. I won't be in a hurry to go back. There are many other places to go. I didn't like the fries and my burger was ok. The soda was good.
Dined in and ordered. Waited a long time (20+ minutes) to get my food, only to find out they gave it away to another person without verifying their order number.

Got my order wrong twice, window display at drive through was broken. Finally got the burgers and they were black- burnt. Had to go back in and they said that the burn was normal because their grill was set to a high temp and they couldn't change it and needed someone to call them and say what temp to set it out. She said she couldnt cook it again without it coming out the same way... Not sure if that was a real reason or just some weird excuse. Was every single burger served today also burned? Can you not cook a burger so it doesn't burn? OK. Usually Carl's is good so it was just the people here that can't.. cook a burger without it being completely charred.
No ketchup in ketchup pumper. Asked for ketchup, freaked out kid at register ignored me. Manager a foreign lady brought food to my table”some ketchup please”... never got ketchup for my nasty cold fries. Manager seems disinterested in customer service. Ketchup was still empty when I left 25 minutes later.....Sad☹️
Staff is friendly, food tends to be served lukewarm. When eating inside the food taste slightly more fresh. Either way its lukewarm unless you're lucky enough to be the first customer to order something they just ran out of and was just made. Inside of the restaurant is gross. Smells gross, floors are dirty, tables smell like moist dirty clothing. Bathrooms are even more of an atrocity. Absolutely unusable, you're better off going outside by the dumpster. If you stick to the drive-thru its acceptable for the price.
The drive through line is slow at best6, in fact, counter service is also slow. The food never tastes fresh to me. Burgers are sloppy to the point that you really need a bath after eating one. Their coffee and biscuits are very good, but little else. I have to say that a lot of my friends appreciate the place, but I don't get it. Also if you can take a few minutes and look up their record of health code violations online, it is many pages long and documents a filthy restaurant. Bon appetite!
The reason I gave two stars instead of zero is because the staff (Not including management/shift leaders) always look like they are working their butts off and are always really friendly. The reason I gave two stars instead of five is because I've never seen a manager or shift leader helping out their staff and this place is extremely understaffed. The staff pays more attention to the drive thru customers, none of the tables are ever wiped down and the bathrooms are disgusting. One of the nice things about eating at Carl's Jr used to be that they gave out table numbers and would bring your food to your table on trays but now they bag your food no matter what and just yell out your number from the counter. I don't know if all Carl's Jr's do this now or if it's just this one restaurant. The food is usually fresh and well made but the owner of this location needs to be overseeing their restaurant better. Maybe they just need to shut down the lobby since it's apparent that it's not a priority.
*I'm updating my review since I can not respond to the reply. The link you leave to "copy and paste"does not work. Restrooms here are horrible. Informed the person at the counter that there was no toilet paper in the 1 restroom that was available. We ate in the restaurant and no one ever replaced it. as we ate our food, other customers told the people behind the counter about no toilet paper. We were there for about 30 minutes and not once did an employee check. They also did not have trays because they were not "clean".
The food is good but the drive thru AI absolutely ruins the experience. Instead of speeding up ordering it drastically slows the process down by missing items, getting orders wrong, and adding time while you're waiting for it to finish. You still have to correct your order with the employee at the window. The orders need to be taken by an employee because the AI is just making everything slower and more frustrating.
Within an hour after having bbq burger stomach swelled,felt kinda pukey,bad heartburn,barely made it to bathroom this morning. Burger was hot when served but, I'm not sure what happened. Visited at 11:20 on a Sunday. Not too busy, 3 tables occupied and a few cars in the drive thru. Floor had several pieces of trash, napkins, straw, and french fry. Sat down at the first booth and there were crumbs on the table and bench seat, so we moved to another table and found the same thing. Decided to take our food to go. Went to the bathroom and there was no toilet paper. Luckily, I had grabbed a few napkins or I would have been in trouble. We pass thru Joshua tree about once a month and like to stop somewhere and grab a drink or food.
Ordered yesterday and was very disappointed with the manager on duty. . I spent 30 dollars on food and when she gave me the food I asked her for a couple of sides of ranch dressing (for my fries ) and was told oh we will have to charge you for those. I am not trying to seem cheap but seriously I just spent 30+ and I can't get a couple ranch dressing? Rediculous..

Food was generic Carl's Jr. food. The wait time was extraordinary given that there was almost no one there, it was the middle of the day, and we just ordered generic burgers. We were just here because we were charging at the Supercharger outside, and in the time it took to order and actually get our food the car charged from <20% to 80% charge. There was only one operable bathroom which was also in a pretty bad way. The franchise owner clearly does not put much effort into this place.
When we placed our order, whoever took it seemed like they were unsure of their job. A simple “Coke no ice” caused major confusion. Letting this slide we get to the window, and there’s more confusion between the cook and order taker. Lo and behold, our order for no lettuce on our spicy chicken sandwiches was the confusion because “no spicy chicken patty” was written on both of the order tickets. I would be confused if I was the cook as well. We pulled around and waited for our food, took a bit but it was probably because the food had to cook. Well… wrong again. We got home and one of the patties was uncooked. It was cold and the paste was still a sold mass. It’s fast food, I’m not expecting gourmet. I’m expecting trash food that is safe to eat and what we ordered.
I ordered 2 grilled cheese breakfast sandwich in the drive-through and this is what I get, barley cooked meat, cheese not melted that good, and straight up bread not grilled at all,been coming to this location for over 30 years and I'm never coming back,due to the food prices are insane and the food has been horrible for the last few years at this location, It's a shame how bad Carl's Jr had become.
After a trip to Joshua Tree NP, I came by here during lunch on a moderately busy Thursday. My order included the Famous Star burger with cheese. And six pieces of Chicken Stars—which were indicated as "served with a small fry portion and drink." I enjoyed the above average burger but it couldn't prevent this one-star rating. The restaurant (clerk and manager present) refused to give me that small fry and drink. They insisted I get a combo. Eventually, they charged those included items as separate add-ons. After moving on from the area, I contacted corporate. Corporate contacted this franchise. This franchise called me and insisted I stop by again in order for them to correct their mistake. A warning to out-of-towners: you are REALLY screwed if this business cheats you. I'd moved on, a distance away, when this location reached out. I provided the receipt number and amount to refund. The manager acknowledged and then... nothing. For weeks, I gave them time to see if a refund would come through. To see if this review was needed. Indeed, my review is necessary. This unscrupulous eatery deserves it.
I love carls jr i go to the one down my street every once in awhile but today regina the worker or manager was rude she massed my order up and said there was nothing she could do well have to talk to corporate about that and after we got our meal i asked for buffalo and barbecue and she said no because she already gave us 2 ranches but that was for my boyfriends order and the food was cold.
We stopped here to charge my Tesla and my diabetic child needed to use the bathroom and the owner yelled the bathroom is for paying customers only. You are seriously going to refuse a diabetic child from using your bathroom. She needs to watch her carbs when she eats and Carls Jr isn’t low carb!
This is one of the worst places in Yucca Valley. The service is horrible, the inside is beyond disgusting. This should be closed down and every worker fired.
Waited 7 mins to get help to take my order, workers are not morning people, the bathroom is nasty for 8am. Seems they rather get the drive thru people out before help those of us in lobby. They walked by us the whole time we waited to take our order and no one greeted us, said we will be with you or even smile. We felt like a burden coming into their store. 15 mins and still waiting on our food.

Cleaning is not a priority in this restaurant. The door to the bathroom is broken and the toilet was disgusting. No one checks for cleanliness. Walking up to ask if the other bathroom was available, and to let them know the bathroom needed to be cleaned, no one approached me, and behind the counter was also filthy. Trash on the floor that no one bothered to pick up. They just kept walking all over it. Disgraceful
The AI messed up my order at the drive thru and when i tried to correct it at the window the incompetent cashier was unable to comprehend the food modifications i was requesting. She said to come back when there is not a "rush". When asked to speak to the manager, Kenneth was very unhelpful he even threatened to call the police. Didn't even care to ask what the issue was. Zero stars if i could.

Waited 30 mins in the drive thru line, when I got my food, it was barely warm and chicken patty was dark brown, probably from being old. Lady at the drive thru window was rude and the reason for the long line seemed like she had a couple of friends in there that she was chit chatting with the entire time. Time before this visit, my experience was the opposite. The younger girl was professional and the food was fresh and hot.
Pros; A couple of the burgers here taste good. and there are like 2 good employees (that I know of) Cons; long wait (even if your the only one there). Food is almost ALWAYS cold. If you don't ask for ketchup at least twice your not going to get it. Ice tea usually tastes like they don't clean the pots.
Ordered a 3rd lb. back angus with jalapeño burger received a small double burger that was like a Big Mac without the middle piece of bread. Also ordered onion rings , didn’t get them either. Did get an order of fries we didn’t order. We live I Morongo Valley so made the trip to some burger’s a Carl’s. Our mistake was trusting the crew and not double checking our order there and not at home. Disappointed, we also paid more for our order. Someone else got my burger, two strikes. You’re not batting a high average. Be warned.
I don’t even know where to start. So they do t have any lids or straws out. You have to ask for them. Why would t they give that when you order, no napkins out you also have to ask for those, the blue power aid is more water then flavor. They do t have any trays so I had to ask for more napkins so we hade something to eat on. I’m allergic to cheese so I asked for no cheese and guess what I had cheese on my burger. Who’s the manger and what are they even doing? A worker was showing a costumer picture on her the employees phone, she could and should have been cleaning trays for the costumers or stocking the drying lids and straws. Or making sure orders are correct. The manager should revive a write up or something

Very bad service I started charging my tesla had 45 till full charge walked in to order food, 5 min are left till full charge and I still haven’t received my food. Took 25 min just to place my order with two customers in line. SMH 🤦 this is bad
The worst Carl's Jr. I have ever been to. I ordered a chicken sandwich meal. I ate about half of it before I noticed the lettuce was rotten it had brown slimey crap on it, and the bacon wasn't cooked. Needless to say, I threw up every I ate and was nauseated all day. I took it back to the restaurant and showed them the disgusting lettuce. I asked for my money back and the manager gave me only part of my money back because I forgot the drink. How petty can you be. I told him I'd go get it, but he ended up giving me all my money back because I was really angry. I would STONGLY suggest never to eat there. You will get sick. My son said their food and service have always been like that, and he's been in this town for over 30 years.🤢🤮
Friday 9:30 pm no queso on the dry burger patties ???? It's suppose to be cheesy, that's why it's a queso burger. Good thing I ordered extra on the side, is this Carl's way of making money?
If you dont have what is needed to make the sandwich I ordered then tell me so I can order something else or take my business elsewhere. Dont just throw half a sandwich together that I paid full price for because you are lazy.
Very disappointed how this morning went. I loved coming to Carl’s Jr. with my dad in the morning. It was our morning place to go. Today we decided to try something new from a deal they had. We scanned the phone for the deal but when she gave us the total it was way more than it should’ve been. So we let her know and she said scan the phone again. So we did and it was still expensive. So my dad said it was ok we could eat somewhere else. I let her know we would be going somewhere else and said thank you. I was being polite. She doesn’t say anything. I was like oookkkaaay. Then we are leaving, she said hi to someone else. I said thank you and good bye and she just looks at me and looks away. I was shocked. So I said wait a minute so someone changes their mind and that makes you decides to be rude to someone when we weren’t rude? She again ignores me. So I walked back in and asked her name and she didn’t want to give to me so I ask again and she said Irene, what’s your problem? I was shocked. I said you. This is how you treat people because they change their mind. That’s wild. Good luck on getting good service from her. She is the bad seed of the company. I never had anyone act like that with us there. The others are nice. I hope they fix this and teach her how to deal with others. Then I can fix the rating.
Placing an order at a drive thru should be handled by a live person. Not AI. I have 8 kids. Today was the 3rd time I had to pull out of your drive thru for your lack of having a human being available to take my order. You lost 10 customers for the 3rd time. " my self, wife and 8 kids. "
Seating area overall pretty clean. Out of all the Carl’s Jr.’s I’ve been to this has got to be one of the worst, food quality wise. Fries tasted stale, and burger had some questionable after taste. Customer service is okay. I’ll most likely not return if I’m honest.
Horrible customer service There’s a Tesla station near I used the station to charge my car and went inside to order food. I had to use the restroom It was a bit urgent so I went and I asked for the code. Linda who was taking orders first stated I could not use the restroom because I’m not a customer. I explained I will be purchasing food I just had to use the restroom first. She then stopped speaking to me and helped the gentleman behind me. I just stood there with a blank face, appalled at what was happening. After helping the Caucasian gentleman and offering everything she possibly could to him, she then said “the code is *****”. After using the restroom I returned to complain. I no longer wanted to support this business at all. I operate a business and never will I ever treat my customers as if they do not exist. I asked why did you make me wait for the code You totally skipped behind me as if I was no longer there. Her response was you were not a customer yet. This place vibes and customer service is horrible. I’m not one to make things about race but I simply don’t understand what else could have been the reason behind being treated so poorly!
Way overpriced, slow service and the burgers not that good. If In N Out ever comes to Yucca, Carl's will be empty, just like the one next to In N Out in Thousand Palms.
Took 9 mins for 1 order of chicken sandwich. Other orders placed after me were already delivered. Mine was #71 and others were larger orders. Also got the order wrong.
Guest service SHOULD be number 1 priority when you’re in the industry. Burger was made with onions. I took it back to the shift manger and she said “the one without onion was wrapped differently. Did you check it” of course I didn’t need to check it because I watched the kid make all the burgers with onions and touching his hat 6 different times without changing his gloves… but let me bring you all of the burgers so you can see…. Low-key called me a liar. And then asked for ranch and “I’ll give you this because of the onions on the burger but normally we charge”… ok - how bout make it right the first time and then you don’t have to give me anything out of inconvenience… Guest service from the shift manager, Linda, below mid standards. Bathrooms dirty. Trash overflowing, but not busy. Business tip: Give 5 star guest service when asking for 5 star guest reviews.
The only establishment I have been to that would not replace a disgusting drink (don't order the blue slushy) with a different drink (for a child!)
Filthiest Carls Jr ever seen w fries and food on floors ice scattered and floors broken dirty stained . Linda at counter trying hard however back end grill super slow and un organized confused and attempting to train while busy. Counter visitors waiting extended time as overheard complaints. F.
