Un lugar muy agradable, diferente, con buena música y ricos alimentos. El menú de este lugar cambia los domingos, es un poco más limitado por lo que recomiendo ir el resto de la semana. Me gustó su coctelería y el servicio que brinda el personal que trabaja ahí.

De la O cuenta con un concepto muy interesante y acogedor de la ciudad de Guadalajara. Tiene un ambiente muy agradable, relajado y excelente música. Desde que entramos el lugar nos pareció muy fresco gracias a la climatización (súper útil en estos días calurosos), muy bonito y original. Los precios de los platillos y bebidas son excelentes, apropiados a las porciones y sobretodo a la relación sabor-calidad. Finalmente, el servicio es inigualable. Volveremos frecuentemente. Recomiendo los lonches del santuario, los tamales y los frijoles. Muchas felicidades!! Salimos encantados

Me gustó el ambiente del lugar, la música es agradable para pasar un buen rato ahí. Los cócteles son muy ricos, originales y con mucha variedad. El concepto del menú me encantó. Se suele llenar, pero nos pasaron rápido a una mesa. La chica que nos atendió muy amable, en general buena experiencia, sin duda volveré para probar diferentes cócteles.

El lugar es cómodo y agradable. La atención de los meseros y bartenders es muy buena y te orientan con todas las dudas que tengas y te dan buenas recomendaciones. La coctelería es variada y buena. La comida también es muy buena. Lo único malo es que durante fin de semana puede ser muy difícil entrar, porque se llena. Y la fila puede ser larga y avanzar muy lento. Yo recomiendo ir con tiempo o en días entre semana para no sufrirle. No tengo idea si se pueden hacer reservaciones pero si sí, esa sería la mejor opción. Los precios pueden ser un poco más elevados que en otros lugares de la zona pero creo que vale la pena. Lo recomiendo mucho. Volveré.

Gran variedad de bebidas preparadas BASADAS EN DESTILADOS MEXICANOS y de excelente sabor. La comida definitivamente no deja nada que desear BUENISIMA. Muy acogedor el recinto. Huge variety of mixed drinks BASED ON MEXICAN DISTILLEDS and of excellent flavor profiles. The definitely leaves nothing missing GREAT. The ambiance is perfect.

Aquí no encontrarás tequilas comerciales, puro tequila artesanal y eso es buenísimo!!! El ambiente excelente y eso que vine en lunes. La mesera disfruta el ambiente como cualquier comensal y eso se contagia. Muy recomendado.

Heard a lot about this place from others and it was a really cool inside. Tiny so they can have a really long wait but traveling solo it’s often not very difficult to a get a single spot at a bar. The margarita I had was very good and the tacos were okay. I love cochinita pibil so the two of those I had were excellent but the chorizo taco was just okay. Service was as good as it can be without it being amazing. The decor and aesthetic was my favorite part. Lots of cool and interesting things all over the walls.

Stopped by this spot right when it opened for cocktails and a snack. Great little spot with excellent service. We got a Zombi (uber strong! use caution) and a banana colada (nice and refreshing). Got the chicharrones which come with tortillas so it's pretty much an entree perfect for two and nice and salty to go with the drinks. Check it out!

Laid back little cantina. About 200 pesos for most of their shots believe it’s 1.5oz pour. Have stuff like Tahona, Ancestral, tapatio flight, Fortaleza, Cascahuin flight. They have a good amount of allocated bottles as well. Employees are great and knowledgeable. Will be back in the future without a doubt.

This place feels like a trendy tavern and I adore it. Their cocktails are delicious and very well priced for speciality drinks. Their chorizo/potato tacos are the best I’ve ever eaten. The ambiance is great on a weekday, the staff is very helpful, and they’re very patient if Spanish isn’t your first language. Definitely a must go to in Guadalajara/Colonia Americana!

We really enjoyed our experience at De La O! We didn’t have food, but we did enjoy a few cocktails (some of which were dealer’s choices and they did not disappoint!) the photos on google don’t do the cocktail bar justice, it’s got a great atmosphere and the bar is inviting!

Such a great cantina with fantastic music to set the mood and drinks that actually pack a punch. I was seated at a table in the very back of the restaurant, but even there, the lively atmosphere was apparent. I started with a Paloma, which did not disappoint, followed by a Mai Tai that was a bit intense, and ended with the Buena Hierbabuena, a perfectly balanced drink. This cantina doesn’t skimp on the alcohol—the drinks were strong and well-made, something I can’t say for many bars in Mexico, where they often go light on the alcohol. The service, while friendly, was a bit slow, but the overall vibe more than made up for it. Prices were reasonable, ranging from $130-180 pesos. Overall, this is truly a cantina with the right vibe and drinks to match. One of the best bars I’ve ever been to!

It just doesn't get better than this for a cocktail bar. I can't even begin to describe how delicious their drinks are. I normally drink an Old Fashioned which are nearly perfect here. During my last visit I had the bartender do a "dealers choice" and he prepared the best most delectable gin and tonic I have ever had. Who new a gin and tonic could be so good. It was citric and lightly sweet. I loved it. If you love cocktails this is a must visit. Their specialty is tequila, mezcal and rum but they can do just about anything. They don't have anything prepared in advance. Every drink is hand crafted. This makes the drinkes incredibly fresh. I could go on and on. Just go there and try one.

Guadalajara Eats 2024 #13, Bar #5: This is one of my favorite bars not only in Guadalajara or Mexico but the entire world. I love the drinks and vibe here. We spent many weekend days here two years ago and were keen to return. De La O is good everyday of the week, but it's especially good on Sundays when they have their daiquiris/coladas on offer. My partner especially loves the guayaba colada while their banana colada is one of the things that makes life worth living. After having a couple drinks in the afternoon here, we had lunch before returning for post-dinner drinks. I will say I strongly prefer drinking here during the day/afternoon to the evening. Service is so much better and it's not as crowded or try-hard. While we usually come here for drinks, the few times we've eaten here were good, too. Other drinks I recommend are: el mai tai de la o (classic with a great mix of rums), el señor bali hai (bitter, coffee-y cocktail), el otoño en guadalajara (complex, bitter), el zombi (*drink with caution*), and el negroni de la o (rum negroni).

We came across this speakeasy, it was a little hidden and small but we loved the vibes and atmosphere. They had a dj and he was super cool. I asked to play a song and he delivered. The bartender was super chill and knowledgeable. We had two drinks and two shots each. By the end of the night I was tipsy. We did not buy food, it was expensive for small portions. The drinks were perfect and amazing. Would definitely go back.

Fuimos a esta cantina porque tiene muy buena calificación en Google y efectivamente no nos defraudó. El lugar está pequeño pero nada amontonado, tiene sus mesitas y barra, mucha mucha variedad de coctelería, precios un poco altos pero para ir a tomarte unos traguitos y platicar a gusto está muy decente. La comida está bien, nada del otro mundo, el ambiente bien la música te deja platicar sin tener que gritar, los meseros muy amables todo el tiempo. Los tragos están muy ricos y fuertes. Probamos el lonche de tinga y de chicharrón, unas tostadas de salpicón y el ceviche de camarón seco (a mi esposa casi no le gustó este último), las tostadas son 3 pequeñas y si les hace falta carnita. Los lonches súper bien, ri regresamos sería por unos tragos y los lonchecitos.

Llegamos 3 personas al lugar, en horario donde aún no se encontraba lleno, le explicamos al mesero que estábamos esperando a otras 5 personas que nos facilitara una mesa grande. Nos contestó que sin problema conforme fueran llegando nos acercaba sillas. Nos sentó en la mesa frente a la puerta habiendo otros 2 espacios mas grandes disponibles. Finalmente cuando llega la 8va persona otro mesero se acerca y nos dice que ya no les es posible atendernos por que somos “muchos” que estamos sentados en un lugar donde estorbamos el ingreso y que ya no pueden atender una mesa de 8 personas. Evidentemente ya no había otra mesa disponible pero, que?????? Desde cuando a un establecimiento se le cierra el mundo con una mesa de 8 personas??? Pésimo servicio, pedimos la cuenta y nos retiramos. Hasta nunca!

Came here twice because of all the reviews. Food is ok. nothing "spectacular" same as street food. I can get the same thing at the corner. I guess if your a tourist not well traveled it may seem good to you. Service is good. Both times I tried to use my card, their machine did not work. I won't be back. Get your machine to work & let me know if it does and I be back. I don't like to carry cash and your the only place in town I have this issue with.
