This is a beautiful place. The food is just as delicious as the place is beautiful to look at. I have to visit here again. It was a really nice quiet place to have dinner. I would take a date here. 😄 Hope this helps.
Every single thing they have is delicious. I've tried the pastas, the pizzas. The desserts. My very favorite thing for lunch, I drive by and get the ministroni soup. with their incredible homemade rolls. This is the best place I have by my house. In murphy. Love them !
We ordered a pizza for pickup. The young lady who took our order was exceedingly helpful - we ordered a Sicilian white pizza with spinach, black olives, tomatoes and extra cheese. The pizza as ready when they said and it was delicious. It was also presented well (see photo).
This place is SOOO good and has amazing customer service! They even offered us a small plate of food for our baby that was perfect for him to snack on. The owner offers great options for specialties and their desert always HITS. Last time I ordered a tiramisu which is my fav. This time I ordered a Chicken Piccata with a house Balsamic Salad and it’s one of the best I’ve had. My husband ordered Sausage & Meatball Spaghetti with a house salad/dressing and it was also perfect! 👌🏼 I highly recommend this restaurant it’s so much better than any of its competitors. The owner even walked all the way to our vehicle to hand deliver a cheesecake, she is so sweet! Thank you guys! 🫶🏼
Had a really nice dinner with a group of 12 friends and family. Service was really good considering the size of the group. I decided to have a calzone which turned out to be a really good choice. I also had their brandy sausage appetizer which was good and a salad. I believe everyone in our party enjoyed their food without any issues. This location does not have a bar or a liquor license but you can bring your own bottle to enjoy. Parking here is somewhat limited. While I was able to get a spot quickly as the turnover seemed pretty quick I could easily imagine if the restaurant was full and all the other tenants in the strip center were a little busier, parking would be an issue.
The chicken Jerusalem is my most favorite dish, I keep forgetting to take a picture before I’ve finished eating it! As well as, the Stuffed Mushrooms are literally THE BEST I’ve ever had, and I get that whenever I can at an Italian restaurant!
Blew my mind. I got Door Dash at 9 on a SUNDAY and just ordered one of the best tortellini dishes I’ve had being in Dallas. I am an Elite hairstylist at ULTA and this Hands Down made my night after a long shift on a Sunday. You def doing the Lords work 🙏🏼🫶🏻🤣🤍 thank you ☺️ IG:fallondidthat Oh and the marinara is top tier !! anybody would be foolish not to order. And they sent in in a BOX - amazing, Thank you. It made my night.
Venezia’s is a true gem of an Italian restaurant. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed like family — not just by the wonderful staff, but also by the owners themselves, who clearly pour their heart into the place. We started with the mozzarella sticks, which came out hot, crispy, and perfectly cheesy. The starter salad was surprisingly unique — fresh greens topped with grated mozzarella that really set the tone for the meal. For mains, we tried the lobster ravioli, grilled chicken alfredo, and a large pepperoni and sausage pizza. Each dish had its own standout qualities — the pasta was rich and flavorful, the alfredo was creamy and comforting, and the pizza was everything you want in a classic pie: generous toppings, great crust, and plenty of flavor. What really makes Venezia’s special, though, is the people. The owners go out of their way to connect with guests, and the young wait staff is attentive, polite, and always smiling. It’s rare to find a restaurant where the food and the service are equally outstanding, but Venezia’s absolutely delivers on both. Highly recommend this spot for anyone who loves Italian food and values genuine hospitality. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to come back to again and again. *** do NOT skip the dessert, they are simply amazing. We will do another review on the homemade desserts alone. ***
Wow! We were driving through Rockwall from church headed to Allen and found this gem!!! The inside of the restaurant is so cozy and inviting, the music selection incredible. I ordered the pepperoni stromboli and my husband ordered a white sauce pizza and we were so impressed. It is THE BEST stromboli I have ever eaten. The flavor, authenticity, attention to detail and real ingredients nothing tasted processed which is hard to find nowadays. That sluggish feeling you get from eating greasy fast food pizza is non-existent because they use quality ingredients. We will definitely be bringing our family back! The customer service is impeccable and there are so many menu options and dessert options. Thank you for making our date so memorable. ❤️
Atmosphere and service were great. It felt like a cozy family owned restaurant. The chicken rollatoni (spelling?) special was the highlight of the night. The other food was a little underwhelming, and the house dressing tasted like ketchup. Bread was very soft. I would go back and get that chicken rollatoni again, just skip the apps and dessert! Price was also very fair. We got apps, salad, entree for two, dessert, coffee, and a pizza to go for $88 before tip. It was easy to hold a conversation and I loved the feeling of community here. The clientele seems to be an older crowd. Lots of vegetarian options and food came out quick.
**A Hidden Italian Gem That Feels Like Home** This past weekend, my family and I were on the hunt for a good Italian restaurant—and we absolutely struck gold when we stumbled across this charming little spot. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that immediately made us feel at home. But the real magic? The food. Oh my, the food was *incredible*. We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and decided to try a few dishes: a classic pepperoni pizza, the famous "Mandy Special," and some cheese ravioli. Let me just say—every single bite was unforgettable. The pepperoni pizza was perfectly crisp on the outside with just the right amount of cheese and spice. It was so good that the staff even packaged the leftovers for us before we could ask, which I thought was such a thoughtful touch. Now, let’s talk about the Mandy Special. If you go, *do not skip it*. Every bite was bursting with flavor—it had the kind of richness and balance that makes you stop mid-conversation just to savor it. The cheese ravioli was equally delicious, with a creamy, comforting texture that just melted in your mouth. What made the experience even better was getting to meet the owners and their son. They were incredibly kind and welcoming, and it’s clear they put their heart and soul into both the food and the atmosphere. It truly felt like dining with family. This place is a total gem, and we’ll absolutely be making it one of our regular spots. If you’re looking for an Italian restaurant with top-tier food, genuine hospitality, and a cozy, at-home feel—look no further. You've found it.
6/23/23: Been wanting to visit for a while. Glad we finally did. The restaurant is very clean, and is much larger inside, than it appears from the outside. There is plenty of seating, and there is a section for private parties. Sofia was our hostess, and she was great. We had the Chicken fettuccini alfredo and the Stromboli meat lovers. Sofia offered an extensive list of deserts, and we took the Amaretto cheesecake to go. This is a BYOB restaurant. There were a couple of large parties, and while there was lively conversation, we were able to hear each other at our table. From ordering to our food arriving, there wasn't a long wait. The food was pretty good. We would visit again, especially, since it's close by.
Swung by this place on multiple occasions, but I’ve always wanted to try it so I ordered via Uber Eats which is super expensive. next time I am just going to order with them directly and pick up. The food is really delicious and filling. I got the tortellini, alla vodka with grilled chicken and a veal Parmesan dish with a side of two meatballs. Everything was really hot and fresh. The bread was soft and warm. There was plenty of marinara sauce, and for some reason they gave me four side salads only ate one, but it was really fresh ingredients. The rolls that come with the food is good but the garlic bread is great. I would come back to this place but then again remember ordering via Uber eats is really expensive.
Nice, quiet, cozy restaurant in Murphy, Tx. Very nice owner and staff. They allow customers to take their own alcoholic beverages. They will uncork wine and provide wine glasses. Food was freshly prepared and served very hot. Baked ziti, chicken parmigiana, and shrimp Alfredo were delicious. Great place for a romantic date. ig: @txchickafoodnfun
I was in the middle of running errands and decided I had to have food. No breakfast and 3:00 in the afternoon. Food was a necessity. Stopped in and had a meatball sub. The sub was really good and the service was excellent. Now I wish I had ordered a side with marinara to go with it. Hindsight!!
Stumbled upon this gem in Rockwall on our way to Allen—what a find! Cozy atmosphere, amazing music, and incredible food. The pepperoni stromboli and white sauce pizza were both phenomenal—fresh, flavorful, and nothing greasy. Friendly staff, tons of menu options, and desserts worth saving room for. Definitely coming back with family!
Went to Venezia's to support local business in Richardson. From the moment we walked in, it was obvious the restaurant is family run and has regular clients that the staff is very familiar with. Service was excellent, prompt, and friendly. Prices are very fair. The pizza and appetizer were good, though the pizza was a little underwhelming in overall flavor. I'd say if I was closer to the location, I'd go back regularly as it's a good intersection of good food with good prices.
Disrespectful !!! , We ordered our food then, the waiter slammed the plant pot on our table and he did not even apologize . So, when we enjoyed our food and, we got a little full so we asked for a box WE GOT A BAG WITH PAPER PLATE WITH THE FOOD WE ORDERED !!! , I won’t recommend this place if you want a respectful experience.
