There was a small line and it disappeared and reappeared instantly. This place has EFFICIENT service. It seems like all the businesses nearby frequent the place because you can SMELL THE AMAZING FRESH FOOD AS YOU WALK UP. We got 2 asada burritos with different beans and his with no sour cream and they're enormous. If I wasn't a fan of leftover burrito we could have split it. No! I made it into a movie day. The burritos are enormous and filling and delicious. A regular came by and insisted the shrimp and fish tacos are well worth the cost ($5) versus $3. They have a single charge for choice of meat and an upcharge only for fish/shrimp/pescado/camerones so I see people mix and match their taco choices. The plates are appealing cause you can build it yourself but I didn't go with that since it's a cart and I was doing takeout in the car not setting up a picnic. The price was really good and this really matters as burritos go and for the plates. Their salsa was also really good; I prefer the verde. Apparently the place next door associated with them that is brick and morter serves tamales so I will be going back to try them soon!!

Really delicious and flavorful! We tried several items including esquites, fish tacos, shrimp tacos, asada tacos, chicken tacos, lengua tacos, and the milanesa torta. The fish and the shrimp were so delish with the sweet peppers. Was very surprised I liked it so much. Asada perfectly seasoned and tender. Nice crispy bits on the lengua. Beautiful hot sauces provided. Everyone raved about the esquites. Now the torta. Holy torta. It is MASSIVE. The flavor was amazing but it was just so sloppy/messy. So hard to eat, falling apart, and started to get soggy. Would love the toppings to be toned down just a bit to make it more manageable. We will DEFINITELY be coming back.

Wish i could give more stars! Had all three of the vegan taco options (tofu, soyrizo, and soy curl). All super delicious!! Efficient service and loved that it came on a real plate with the sauces for dine in to reduce waste. So inexpensive for the value! Definitely will be back!

This place is AMAZING! I've tried the carne asada tacos, the chicken tacos, and the torta, and the fajitas salad (see pic). All of it was delicious, the portions were big, and the flavor was all there! I love that they included all the salsas and it was made with plenty of love. I will go back for sure! Next to Betos Taqueria is also Betos Grill and OMG THOSE WINGS!!!! The Habanero Mango is my favorite but the Buffalo was good too.. I'm in love... (See pics)

I love this place, a very welcome addition to the neighborhood. It’s nice to see people raising the bar for food carts. This food is incredibly fresh and delicious, the food cart is immaculate. You can really see the small business pride here!

Fresh, delicious food with generous portion sizes for a good price. They have vegan options that are really good. My favorite meal is the fajita salad with shrimp. So good!!

OK people. I must give credit where credit is due. First I'll describe the food, and second I'll describe the staff. My wife and I had given up on finding a decent taco in Portland. UNTIL NOW! We are truly blessed to find this spot walking distance from our place in St John's, because these are the best tacos I've yet found in Portland. Particularly the pastor, must have, and the asada, great crispiness. I got 5 and was super satisfied, but just ordered 5 to go for lunch tomorrow. I will bring my friends here, and I will be eating here at least once a week. I found the staff to be very sweet, real, and humble. After blowing my mind, I asked them all, "are these the best tacos in Portland?" and, "do you know a better taco on Portland?", and they didn't flaunt their mad skill. They said, "I don't know 🙂". When I asked what made these so much better than the rest around, the owner shrugged and said, "I think it's because we cook the meat fresh. I love to cook." 😍🌮🥰🌮 OK OK, I'll stop there. If anyone votes this place less than 5 stars, you're crazy.

The quality of the meat is great and the taste is outstanding! I’ve been in the Portland/St John’s area for about 10 years and these are by far the best tacos I’ve had to date. So thankful I came across this little gem after delivering some groceries at the apartment next door. I can’t wait to come back to Beto’s Taqueria. This place is amazing!! Thank you! Featured in the photo are the chicken, pastor, and pescado tacos. The pescado comes with a slice of avocado and bell peppers on it. The sauces are delicious! Yum!!!

Food had good flavor but way too much oil in the tortillas tacos and everything. Whish they could use a little oil not so much.

Food is great. I only wish they would list everything they put on the burritos. I just ordered 3. The 2 chicken burritos had a bunch of pico de gallo in them. Our kids aren't a fan so now I'm stuck eating 3 burritos. Lesson learned!

This is a food truck tucked in the back of a building. It's a nice location and the staff were very friendly. I thought the food was flavored well, but I think my burrito was missing some freshness and ultimately was a bit too greasy for me. I think some fresh veggies even just onions cilantro, cabbage would have been welcomed. The salsas were good and had good flavors. however I would like if they offered a pick de gallon or other tomato based salsa.

The chicken and the steak was spoiled. I couldn’t even eat my food. I was scared to get food poisoning from the time I Receive my bag of food, I could smell the stink rotten meat before even opening the bag. It was very disgusting. I almost threw up in my mouth, and that was the Carne Asada and the chicken. I would not recommend this place.

This was a very disappointing experience. The food was terrible. Worst birra tacos. Who puts ketchup on asada fries… and the chile relleno was over cooked and I don’t know what was in it. I’m never going back again. Waste of $50
