Wow! This is my second visit and I keep getting blown away each time. The first time I had lamb tikka masala but the second time I didn’t even make it past the apps. The samosa chat is a deconstructed samosa with all the sauces and goodies in it already, easy to eat and very filling! The dumplings come in multiple flavors but I got the spicy ones and the steamed ones. Steamed are good but the spicy ones are to die for! A must! Chicken tikka comes in a sizzling fashion very cool! Service is nice very amicable people. Helpful and always trying to provide a good ambiance. Very good hidden gem! And again the spicy dumplings are a must if you can handle it. It is spicy but nothing too bad. Not a fan of the vegetables on the side but the main dish is to die for! They also didn’t kick us out and welcomed us in after walking in at 9:40pm
Absolutely delicious! We enjoyed our Chicken Vindaloo and Lamb Tikka Masala. Dishes were perfectly seasoned and the serving was more than ample. Their rice was long grained perfection. Wait staff was very attentive and kind. And don’t miss the naan - fresh, hot and brushed with ghee.
My friend and I meet every month to enjoy Indian food, that our spouses won't eat. We love our food spicy. We got the chicken tiki masalla. (Sp?). We agreed it was great and definitely will go back. You need to go try their food.
Indian food has become my absolute favorite! I’m trying out all of the places in the area. I’m really struggling to be able to make a top 3 list since I really enjoy so many of these places! The woman who served me was incredibly kind and even a little bit personable! The mint chutney was probably some of the favorite I’ve had! Mostly because it wasn’t too spicy and instead, it was just really flavorful! Additionally, I feel like their prices are a lot more reasonable than other places! The reason the atmosphere isn’t getting five stars is because the TV was playing relaxing music whereas on the other side of the room, there was hip-hop coming from a speaker! This does not take away from the food experience much though.
This Restaraunt is amazing!! Nepalese and Indian cuisine. The food is beyond delicious! The Sekuwa chicken was so full of flavor! The palak paneer was a creamier version than what I have tried at other places. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff are awesome! Definitely worth a visit! I plan to get thru the whole menu one dish at a time!!
We really enjoyed the food it was super tasty and my friends also enjoyed it so much . We are surely coming back to try more food.
The food tasted absolutely amazing! Especially their FRESH garlic naan. It’s hard to find vegan and vegetarian options in restaurants but Mantra came through!!! Service was also served with lots of smiles. Nothing was left untouched. 10/10 !
Shought out to one of the best Restaurant around eastern Ohio.I find true original Nepalese and Indian flavours balance.I have been to many Nepalese and Indian restaurants around Akron and Colombia area but I will not mind driving 40mins to have dinner at your place .Thanks Mantra !!!!!!

First time at Mantra Nepalese for lunch today. Every item and bite was fantastic! We started with a mango lassi-tine and vegetable momos. The heat and spice was perfect in the momos and the tiniest was so refreshing! Next up were Tandoori Mixed Grill, onion kulchi & Lamb Biryiani. All to die for. And the service was friendly, helpful, and prompt. We will definitely make Mantra a regular stop.
The restaurant is beautiful and VERY CLEAN! The atmosphere is chill, with good energy and a calm vibe. The service is always top tier. Manita is a lovely person who always makes you feel welcome. Lastly, the food has no comparison in Youngstown. We always eat Tandoori Chicken, but after going here, I have new favorites. The Shrimp Fried Rice & Fried Chicken Momos are FIRE!!!
The food was great! Highly recommend the mango lassi. The naan was fantastic as well. We went there for a small after work get together and it was quiet, easy to chat. The restaurant was recommended to us by some Nepali coworkers and described as very accurate to their cuisine. If you like spicy food, just ask. They will kick it up a notch for you.
We came to Mantra for a birthday party with a group of 16 people, and everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The staff handled our large party with ease - friendly, attentive, and professional the entire time. Every single dish that came out was bursting with flavor, fresh, and beautifully presented. You can tell the chefs here take real pride in what they do. If you’ve never been, you’re missing out! This place easily ranks among the best Indian restaurants in the area. And whatever you do, don’t leave without trying their carrot dessert, it’s incredible and the perfect way to finish an amazing meal! We’ll definitely be back.
Trust me, this was one of the best food I have ever had infact I even met the chef personally to compliment the food. On top of that, the cleanliness of this place is outstanding. I highly recommend it to everyone..
I went to Mantra Nepalese & Indian Cuisine with my family and we all absolutely loved it! The food was so good. Everything we ordered was full of flavor and tasted super fresh. I especially loved the jhol momo, it was so flavorful and comforting. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome and the atmosphere was warm and cozy. We all left really happy and satisfied. Definitely recommend this spot if you’re in the Youngstown area and craving delicious Nepalese food!

Absolutely the best Indian and Nepalese food I had in the long run! Chicken Steam Momos and Pani Puri are a must try. AND don't miss out on the Mango Lassi, absolute banger!

Yesterday, we visited a friend in Youngstown who recommended Mantra restaurant for lunch. Dining there was an unforgettable experience! The Nepali cuisine was authentic and delicious, with a variety of flavorful, beautifully prepared dishes. The warm atmosphere and friendly service made it even better. I highly recommend Mantra for anyone wanting to enjoy authentic Nepali and Indian food!
My daughter and I stopped by for lunch hoping for a great meal. We were not disappointed. I haven't had good Indian food for years. This was wonderful. The curry chicken was flavorful and tender. The chicken Tikka masala was so good and the Tandoori bread basket made everything extra yummy. This is now our favorite place.
Although it’s right next to the highway, the inside is really nice and clean. Waitress is kind. The samosas were excellent and adequately stuffed with delicious filling. The aloo gobi and chana masala were so flavorful, and medium spicy was the perfect spice level for people who like a kick. It each came with a ton of yummy white rice. The only problem was the two entrees were very salty. It’s a shame because it didn’t need it. Too salty, and this would’ve been a perfect restaurant. Great prices!
Some of the best chicken I've ever had! The chicken melted in my mouth, the flavors were perfect, the amount of heat was perfect, the rice was aromatic and delicious, the masala tea was delicious, our server was sweet and pleasant and prompt. There was no wait and plenty of seating. The only thing I could say that would elevate the experience is more art on the walls, but that isn't important. The quality of everything else is art enough.
