Just opened and already amazing! 🍣 Hibachi Express Nokomis has super fresh sushi, tasty hibachi, and such friendly service—can’t wait to see this new spot grow! Definately recommend if you're in Nokomis!!

Food is good, price is reasonable and bathroom is clean. Love the attention to details, often very rare with similar asian restaurants

This was our first time here. My wife and I stopped for dinner on our way back home to Sarasota. So warming and clean. Staff was friendly and offered us to view the menu. Food was quick to come out of kitchen and hot. Great portions for the price overall. I ordered the 3 meat hibachi ( chicken steak shrimp) I didn’t get a lot of steak and shrimp compared to chicken, but was so delicious. We will be back :)

Absolutely I was standing establishment. It is super delicious. It is fresh. It is a clean restaurant and just superior food. The shrimp dish alone they give you so much shrimp. It’s unbelievable. This is my second visit here and I absolutely love this food. I definitely will be back and I definitely highly recommend it.

5 of us (3 adults and two teenagers that eat more then adults) had a platter. 10 regular rolls and 3 specialty. We got spicy tuna, California, salmon, tuna, crazy tuna…I can’t remember the others. Every single roll was amazing! This entire platter fed all of us plus we had about a roll and a half left over!! It was about $75. Will be getting more food from here!

We kept up our New Year’s Eve tradition by eating hibachi. The food was hot and delicious and the portions were generous. The service was excellent and we loved the clean and updated atmosphere.

So happy they opened up one of these here in Nokomis! I used to eat at the one in Seminole all the time! Food is amazing, prices very well for the portion size. Team is friendly and I even requested mine to be cooked with no additional oil and white rice instead of fried and it was accommodated at no extra charge. 10 out of 10 stars! Absolutely love this place.

Honestly, I was completely skeptical about this place at first, but they truly exceeded my expectations! From the great prices, to the high quality food, and friendly staff; it’s a perfect go-to spot. Everything we got was under $70! Anywhere else would be easily $100+.

Really enjoyed this place! The food was delicious, especially the hibachi chicken and noodles. Service was super friendly and fast, and the restaurant itself is clean and modern. Love that they also have sushi and boba tea — definitely coming back!

This is a great spot for good high quality food without the wait. Great for picking up after work when you don’t want to cook. LOL. Food is always hot and prepared well. Staff is super friendly.

Went there for the first time today. I had shrimp Hibachi and my friend had sushi. The food came out fast and was delicious. As good as Darumas without the show and high prices. The restaurant was also very clean. We will be back.

Ordered takeout Saturday and ended up ordering more than we usually would because the prices were good and we wanted to try things out. Everything was excellent. I haven't tried the sushi yet but that is my next thing. The hibachi was so good and the rice is addictive. Onion soup top notch along with the shumai and spring rolls priced better than any other place in town. Got some of their salad dressing and used it tonight, again, top notch and you wont get a tub of ginger dressing cheaper anywhere, yum yum sauce too. I believe we will be going here quite often. Keep up what you are doing because you are doing it right.

They had dropped one piece of our sushi roll and instead of keeping us waiting they gave us the first roll and then gave us a second roll for free! They’re here to impress. Nokomis has been blessed to have Hibachi Express open their doors here. Will be recommending this place to our friends!

I saw the grand opening flags and turned around to find out what was new. Great choice. This may be my new go to place. Good price for the amount of food. Nokomis, Venice needed a good Asian place. Yay I think we got it. I got the chicken hibachi dinner. We are enjoy every bite!

We picked up hibachi to-go from Hibachi Express in Nokomis (note: they don’t serve beer or plum wine). We ordered the steak and scallop hibachi plus an eel roll and pork gyoza — overall a very satisfying meal. The scallops were the star: tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The vegetables were also spot-on, nicely charred and seasoned. The steak was a little tougher than I’d hoped and the rice was pretty plain, but those were minor quibbles in an otherwise tasty and convenient takeout experience. Friendly place and great when you’re in the neighborhood — I’d happily give it another try.

When I first went to this place, it was absolutely amazing. The food was so delicious. I was telling everyone in the city about it.lol a few people went to try it and said the food was not good. I was shocked! So, I went back to try it again, and sadly, they were telling the truth. The meat was over cooked, the portions were reduced. The rice tasted weird. It was very dry, the noodles were over cooked, the shrimp was over cooked, and the scallops tasted funny. The sauce was very watery this time. I’m not sure what changed, but I hope you guys go back to what you were doing when the restaurant first opened.
