The manager April was very descriptive of all their fresh daily specials we loved every aspect drinks meals desserts everything on point we will look forward to coming to Alabama and joining them at the Royal Scam every time we come through here thanks again so much for your hospitality!

My husband & I went for Valentine’s Day & had their limited special menu. It was amazing! Great atmosphere, delicious food & wonderful service from Kelly. We will definitely be back ♥️

This place is always good. Crab cakes are great. The filet is always perfect. Even the asparagus is grilled properly. And that’s hard to do. Drinks are stout. And just a great little place in Mobile.

The grilled grouper with broccoli was Amazing. The crab cakes appetizer was Superb. The bread pudding was Incredible 🤤

Fantastic service and the meal was just as good. Michelle was a gracious host and took care of us beautifully. Catch of the day was so tasty and the Boudin Balls were wonderful. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Nice upscale gulf coast cuisine. We had gumbo, shrimp and grits, and fresh catch of the day. They were all very well excuted. They also have inexpensive bites including burger and wraps.

Royal Scam has always been a favorite of mine and my wife’s. We have been coming since 2015. We were especially excited when they returned after the pandemic. The picture is the last time my wife ate with me there before she passed from ALS. Tonight was the first time I have been back since. A bar seat because it wouldn’t be the same at a table without her there. The Ribeye (newly back on the menu was cooked perfectly. Savory potatoes and fresh green beans. Peach cheesecake and a glass of Cabernet Franc. Thank you for the memories.

This restaurant exceeded my expectations with its delicious menu options. The attentive service and cozy ambiance made for a delightful dining experience. I highly recommend their gumbo and beef stroganoff soup when it’s in their menu. Redfish is a must try too!

Loved it both times I've been. Surf and turf was great. Steak was cooked perfectly and crab cakes were full of crab. We had the tuna appetizer and it was fresh and perfectly sized. Highly recommend.

Great food, service, and atmosphere. We had the catch of the day. It was perfectly prepared. The wine list is extensive and our waiter made a perfect pairing suggestion. Wrapped up it all up with a perfect dessert of Crème brûlée and French Pressed coffee. Great place for a date night.

The gumbo was amazing!!! Food was delicious. One thing our family would want to see, a vegetarian option. Our waitress was amazing, very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and different foods available. Always have daily specials.

Wow what an experience. The food was amazing. Some of the best I have eaten. The service was awesome. Our waitress was amazing. Will definitely bring going back. The price was high but worth it . Especially if you are trying to have a romantic night out. The setting was perfect.

I wanted to lick the plate from the first bite! Started with the crab cake appetizer- literally the best I’ve ever had! It was Maillard perfection on the outside and amazing flavor on the inside. From the moment I saw chicken scallopini on the menu I had to have it, because last week I went Olive Garden and found out they took Chicken piccata off the menu, lol. So, I had a major craving for capers and lemon butter sauce. The chicken scallopini was fabulous. Chicken was perfectly breaded, sauce was delish and I even liked the polenta, which is not my favorite thing normally. However, it paired perfectly with this dish. Also tried the catch of the day from my husband’s plate. It was terrific- my only suggestion would be to replace the carrot discs with whole baby carrots for presentation purposes. I tried my son’s filet and I loved the red wine Demi glacé. The dessert-wow! Chocolate bacon creme brûlée with a perfect outside crust and amazing texture inside. I could totally taste the bacon without even biting into the bacon pieces in the center. The bread pudding- also spectacular with candied pecans that were crunchy and delicious. I could go on forever. You must eat here. You won’t regret it!

Very nice upscale place. Don't be put off of the name. Love it. I had the Seafood gumbo, Tuna Tartare, and Chicken Scallopini. Enjoyed it a lot. Additionally, I had made a reservation online, and my timeline had me there an hour before, and they sat me. Staff was amazing and knowledgeable in wines. The Reisling they list is a dry one, but the waitress said they had a sweet one that wasn't... and it was delicious. It was well worth the money. I ordered so much because I skipped lunch, and left a little of my entree, only because I was happily full. This is a great place to meet with friends or older family, or even a date. It's also within feet of decent looking bars, and around the corner from even more things to do at night.

Update: Food is still going strong. The filet was tender and the service was great. The food came out quick and the place was pretty packed. The only scam about this place is I didn’t find it sooner. The quality of the food is worth the price paid. They offer freshly brewed tea. It’s a lively environment, mainly business casual attire. We saw people who wore slacks (business casual), shorts (golf), and women in yoga pants. The pork belly appetizer was flavorful and tender and just delicious. It was served beautifully on top of a bed of pickled cabbage which paired well. The fingerlings are divine! They are seasoned with rosemary and butter which leaves crispy exterior. The filet is about six ounces and is well worth its weight of a 42 dollar price tag. The fish entree was flaky and prepared exceptionally. The service was exceptional. The team helped one another out and worked fluidly.

We love this place. Me and my wife go here for valentines 💖. You couldn't ask for a more friendly staff. The food is delicious. There, Filet Mignon is the best I have ever had. My wife liked it so much when I got it last year that she ordered it this year. Their flourless chocolate cake is also delicious. If you have not been here, go. If the Royal Scam reads this, thank you for making our Valentines Day special.

I am not sure of the origin of the name but this restaurant is definitely the real deal. My wife and I had a delightful experience here. The service was very good from a cheerful reception to a friendly and attentive server. The food was also very good, with large portions and a very competitive price. We would most definitely dine here again.

My wife and I ate here for the first time in maybe at least a year!! Our last visit wasn’t their best but we wanted to try Royal Scam out again and it was great and the best dinner date we’ve had there!! The drinks taste perfect!! The shrimp appetizers were something different and were very yummy!! Best crab cakes I’ve ever had in my life!! And our server was super friendly and attentive!! Service and food was excellent!!

This is our first time dining here, and it was a great experience. We started with seafood gumbo & Soup du hour for the appetizers. The entree for the night was grilled redfish and coffee braised short ribs, and dessert was bread pudding. All the dishes were amazing. We'll be back again to try more menu items. Our goal is to try everything on the menu out. Thank you so much. See you all next time. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!

What a great find. The food here was awesome! I had the Redfish and my wife had filet mignon. We both agreed this was the best dinner we’ve had in a long time. Service and atmosphere was great as well

Delicious food and great service. Erica was our waitress. She was friendly, polite and helpful the entire time of our dining experience. My Wife had the seafood gumbo appetizer. She said it was delicious. I had the crab cake appetizer. The crab cake itself was delicious but when I tasted it with the (lemon sriracha aioli) sauce, oh my goodness. I was expecting the normal sauce but it had a taste different than normal sauces and it goes perfectly with the crab cake. My wife had the steak. She said it was delicious. My redfish was delicious. The sauce enhanced the flavor of the redfish. The Brussels Sprouts were cooked perfectly. They were not overcooked and dry or undercooked and raw. They were just right. The rice was not cooked to mush or undercooked. It was cooked to perfection and the presentation was spectacular. When you go, make reservations in advance and ask for Erica as your server. She will ensure you have an enjoyable dining experience. If you like seafood, I highly recommend the Redfish entree and crab cake appetizer. Wonderful location for a date night or a special occasion with a relaxed atmosphere!

We had a beautiful dinner! We had the Hanoi shrimp as an appetizer. They even added an extra one to make it even, normally it comes with three. It was great! I recommend it, especially if you like japanese cusine. It has a spicy wasabi creme, a ginger sauce that was delicious! For main dinner, I had the hidden gem - the ribeye - it was perfectly done! Melt in your mouth perfection! Is not on the menu, so ask for the specials. He had the land and sea, and as well, it was also delicious. Filet mignon and crab cakes. I had the Georgia Belle cocktail. It was fruity and strong! Plus, I had a glass of red wine with the meal. We also shared the bread pudding. It was a bit too hot, but we saved it for a night cap later. Once cooled off, it was delicious! All an all, perfect! Our server was Britney, and she was great, ask for her.

You must try the creme brulee it's something different but it's the most phenomenal thing you'll ever eat for a dessert

If you love a scam, do not frequent this establishment. The team at TRS is honest, amazing and treats every guest as though they are the only guest. My wife and I celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary with the TRS family during a time of great duress. My wife’s brother was a patient at a local hospital. I completely flailed on providing a safe place for my lady in a time of great uncertainty. We decided to dine at The Royal Scam as it is directly across the street from our hotel. Upon arrival, we were graciously greeted by the maître d’ and promptly seated in a great location. Lidia and Brian were amazingly attentive to our needs. The chef and the kitchen team prepared an amazing meal for us. Due to my distraction, I did not prepare flowers, lest a card for my amazing wife. I approached the maître d’ about TRS’ main floral arrangement. I was directed to April who, without hesitation made preparations to transfer her arrangement to me for my wife. When in Mobile; you have been scammed to skip The Royal Scam. The service is legit and the food is properly prepared. Will be back. THANK YOU TRS FAMILY.

First time dining here and we had a great experience. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday. The steaks were delicious. Our waiter Connor was awesome. He was very attentive and extremely nice. We did get desserts to go. I had the cheesecake and my husband had the bread pudding - both were so good. This place was busy the entire time we were there, so make sure you make a reservation. It was a great choice for my husband’s birthday. We will definitely come back again.

The entire experience was lovely. We got here before the parade started. Our waiter was very attentive. There wasn't a moment where we didn't have everything we needed. They have a great mix of cocktails and wines to have with your meal. I loved coming here. I forsee us coming back for another special dinner.

Friendly, welcoming wait staff and the chef even checked on us. We shared several delicious appetizers, hands down the best crab cakes and tuna martini I have ever had. Great food, service, location, close to other fun venues downtown, this restaurant/bar is at the top of our favorites list.

This is my favorite place for date night... Most importantly make a reservation so you won't have to eat at the bar... The atmosphere, food, and service is exceptional... Get The Gumbo!! I Repeat Get the GUMBO!!! Ask for Erika to be your waitress she is really good...

Absolutely incredible restaurant. The Hanoi shrimp are a must order for anyone that likes flavor. As far as entrees go, I got the catch if the day and it was absolutely incredible. Halibut with a balsamic bacon jam, with goat cheese orzo pasta and broccolini. If that is any indication of what the chef throws together, the catch of the day is a literal catch! Then they have a creme brulee of the day, and I was lucky enough to get a lemon lime flavored one. It was, like the entire meal, absolutely incredible. 10/10. Cannot recommend this restaurant any higher. It's elite.

Loved this place! The gumbo was incredible, we ordered the salmon, crab cakes and duck. All were excellent. Our waiter was Chris. He was super friendly. My son was not feeling well and he brought him crackers and sprite with a side of grits. It worked like magic! We will be back.

My wife and I visited for the first time last night. We sat at the bat and dined with the bartender, Trinity. She was fabulous!! Very attentive to us and our needs as well as being very busy. The food was outstanding. 10/10 absolutely recommend! We will be back and request Trinity for our next visit.

We had the tuna tartare, red snapper with a sesame garlic aioli and finished with the bread pudding. All was excellent but I wouldn't have minded a little zydeco music. Would also be fabulous to get back the old apple slaw and duck/Portobello panini from royal scam version 1.0.

Wonderful service by Britney. She was patient & attentive. Very knowledgeable about the menu. Our food was delicious & everybody in our group of 6 enjoyed their meal. Looking forward to visiting next time we're in the area.

5 star service. Food was phenomenal and prices were on point. Definitely recommend and will be back. Best crab cakes we’ve ever had. If I had to make a complaint it would be too much okra in the gumbo but I hate okra so take it how you may. Staff was superb. Very friendly and prompt. Food came out so fast and exceeded expectations! Five thumbs up !

Saved our New Years! We were walk-ins after our reservations at a nearby restaurant went sour. The polite and attentive front of the house scrambled to find us a wonderful table, and the terrific waitstaff served us the best seafood gumbo and Chilean Seabass we’ve ever had.

Waitress Linda was amazing! Chicken Scallopini (good portion and breaded) really good for a big appetite! Short ribs are good short portion.

We had a true 5-star experience here. We planned to eat outside with our dog, but the forecast called for rain in an hour’s time. We asked if we could sit outside and order to-go, and Isaac accommodated us very generously. He brought us water (dog included) and our salads while we waited. He was extremely courteous and thought of everything. It was the best service we’ve had at a restaurant in a long time. The food was also excellent - cooked perfectly, everything was seasoned well and had delicious flavor profiles. Both my husband and I were very impressed with the food. I had the chicken scallopini and my husband had the filet mignon, and we both had a salad and bread pudding. (I am glad he ordered his own bread pudding so I could have mine to myself, it was out of this world good). The Royal Scam has been the highlight of our trip. Thank you for a great meal!

The food was amazing. Each bite had texture and depth. The appetizers and main course were served at slightly face pace, so I would recommend ordering at the pace you’d like. If you want dessert, make sure it save room: the bread pudding was very rich. The only real downside was the noise, but with food that good, it’s no wonder is many people were there!

Karen Wilson, Mikes wife, chose the Royal Scam for her71st birthday celebration. The night was Magical. The six of us all had special cocktails and they were wonderful. The food is some of the best in Mobile and we all loved our meals. The thing that made the night magical was the staff. Lydia took care of us, but they worked as a team and we felt like we were at their home. We had a birthday cake and they presented it with lit candles and then they pplated and served slices. It is our favorites dinner spot because it is consistently wonderful. Thanks you to everyone at the Royal Scam who made the night so special.

We had a wonderful experience at the Royal Scam. We came in with a large party and they were able to seat us in the heated courtyard. Our server was excellent and very friendly. I had an espresso martini and the fish of the the day, which was cooked perfectly and delicious. While it is a little pricey, the quality of the food warranted the cost. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I did not dine in, but ordered my meal to go. The atmosphere was peaceful. The bartender (GT) took my order quickly. My order was Crab Cakes, Seafood Gumbo, and 2 Bread Puddings. I was very please with the entire meal. 11/18/2023, check number 5001.

One of our absolute favorites, their menu is small, but every single item is delicious, their courtyard is a wonderful spot, and can accommodate groups. The Tuna Tartare and Crab Cakes are just brilliant, and every entree is delicious

HOLY COW!!!!! SO GOOD!!! There isn’t anything on the menu that I wouldn’t love. The gumbo, crab cakes and shrimp were especially delicious! Great cocktails too! I would definitely come back!

I had crab cakes and the market catch of the day (triple tail). The crab cakes were fine and the fish had a lovely creamy topping. My dinner mates had the tuna tartare and liked it. The watermelon smash cocktail was disappointing and syrupy. I returned and had a pomegranate drink which was good, but not good enough. My red grouper was delicately flavored and wonderful and the goat cheese polenta was rich and amazing. All the food here is so good I want to give it a top grade. It's one of the best places in town. They had a beef stroganoff soup which sounded strange but was wonderful. I also tasted their superior "award winning" gumbo which indeed was the best I've had.

This cozy eatery is not to be missed. While the menu is short, the food is incredible. I had the coffee-braised short ribs, which melted in my mouth. The crème brûlée of the day--chocolate cherry--was fantastic as well. Highly recommended.

Given what we were looking for, a nice dinner to take our client to, it was perfect. Not too loud, great atmosphere, excellent food in line with expectations and price point. Our server was great and drinks were good.

Another fantastic experience at Royal Scam! It’s one of my favorites. It was a last minute decision but we were still able to get a reservation. (Highly recommend making a reservation) The food was amazing! Don’t forget to finish with an espresso martini and a creme brûlée of the day!

I had a very good experience at this establishment. I attended with a group of around 14 people. Food was brought out in a very reasonable amount of time, and everyone was served at the same time (which is key). I was also never left with an empty cup despite it being quite busy. I'm not a big fan of an automatic 20% gratuity as I feel you have to earn it, however, they had in this instance!

We were staying at the Hampton next door and were looking for a restaurant close to to the hotel. We didn't have reservations, and were slightly underdressed in shorts and flip-flops, so chose to sit at the bar. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, George the bartender was quite the standout. We started with a couple of Sazerach, which were made to perfection (we had 2 each), and had the crab cakes and Hanoi shrimp, finishing the experience with bread pudding. George offered us 3 different wine tastings during our meal to help answer questions my partner had about the red wine selections. Everything was wonderful and we will definitely be returning, and recommending The Royal Scam to friends. This place is a local gem!

We went there for my 50th birthday on Saturday night(crazy foursome in the corner). Jett was our waitress and all I can say is that she was fantastic! The manger on that night was absolutely the sweetest and the food was to die for. EVERYTHING we had was delicious. Pork belly, Tuna Tar Tar for starters...thumbs up. My Rib Eye special was perfectly cook and the sides(green beans and potatoes)were superb. Bread Pudding for dessert and for a win! Thank you fro making my 50th so special.

My husband and I were out celebrating our first Mardi Gras (moved to Mobile last summer) and stumbled upon The Royal Scam. We didn’t have a reservation but found seats at the bar, very surprising since it was also Valentine’s Day. They were offering a $70 fixed menu. We started with tuna tartare and house salad, followed by crab cakes and seafood gumbo. For a moment, we were concerned when the couple next to us complained about the salt level in every dish. Let's just say they must have had very sensitive palates because our dishes were seasoned to absolute perfection, the chef was back there serving full-on flavor with “Salt Bae” vibes. For entrées, we had lamb chops with a delicious reduction, black garlic mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts and pan-seared grouper, black garlic mashed potatoes, and broccolini. Both dishes were outstanding with generous portions. The staff was fantastic, and the bartender George made our experience even better. We loved it so much that we returned the following night for drinks and more gumbo. Bonus points: my husband has a soy allergy and there were plenty of options for him—a rare find! The Royal Scam is officially on our list of downtown favorites. We highly recommend it!

I needed to add two more seats for a business dinner, bringing our total to ten people. Despite the restaurant being fully booked at the time I called, an hour later, I received a call from the manager informing me they had managed to accommodate my request. This level of attentiveness and flexibility was the first indication of the exceptional experience that awaited us. Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were pleased to find it situated in a great location, easily accessible and offering a welcoming ambience perfect setting for both business and casual dining. The menu at Royal Scam is concise, but every dish is executed to perfection. From appetizers to desserts, each item we tried was fantastic. The flavors were well-balanced, and the ingredients were fresh and of high quality. Our customers were particularly happy with their meals, which is always a good sign during business dinners. Our waiter did an exceptional job managing our table of ten. She was attentive, professional, and efficient, ensuring that our orders were taken promptly and that our needs were met throughout the evening. The food arrived quickly and was presented beautifully, adding to the overall dining experience. One standout moment was when we decided to return the following night for dessert after having some drinks elsewhere. We arrived after the kitchen had closed, but the manager recognized us and graciously reopened the kitchen and bar just to serve us. Royal Scam is one of the best spots in Mobile. The food and drinks are amazing, and the service is excellent! I ordered the filet and it was divine. My wife had the fresh catch, which was red snapper, and she said it melted in her mouth. For dessert, I highly recommend the chocolate raspberry martini. Royal Scam is on the pricey side, so we can only go for special occasions, but I highly recommend it!

We have been to the Royal Scam twice and each time we loved it! The food was spectacular and the service was top-notch. I had the grilled salmon this past time and it was superb. You have to make reservations and when you do, do it early because they fill up fast. Highly recommended!

I have been here twice now. The first time I had the catch of the day which was severed up in pastry like a beef welling would be. The second time was last when our party has the tuna, crab cakes and pork belly appetizers. I also had the filet and the bread pudding. All were cooked perfectly, we were sat outside to enjoy the weather and service was attentive without being intrusive. The waiter was able to describe each dish and they came out (and tasted) just as described. I will be back.

Outstanding restaurant. Ate here for the first time in the heart of downtown Mobile. Unassuming exterior but great atmosphere inside, excellent service and outstanding food. Can’t recommend it high enough. I would give it six stars if I could. I had the filet mignon, which was cooked perfect! The sides, fingerling potatoes and asparagus were delicious. Started with the Caesar salad that was excellent. Wonderful, memorable dinner I highly Recommended if you’re in Mobile or even close.

Wonderful service from the bartender, who made the best Espresso Martini I have ever had. Dinner was also amazing! The Land and Sea dish was delicious! Such a cute gem in downtown Mobile. Can't wait to go again and enjoy the courtyard seating area.

Food was out of this world delicious! Atmosphere was great! Annabelle the hostess was so gracious and Brad, our server, was top notch! Truly enjoyable time and great meal!

We sat on the patio and it was a little warm, but we did go in September lol. I had the filet and it was amazing I could not recommend it more. My partner had the short ribs and they were 10/10 amazing. We had two appetizers and they were worth every penny. We got a lot of food and we only spent about $160 with the tip so all in all not bad. 100% recommend!!!

The food was absolutely fantastic. I ordered the steak, and it was cooked perfectly— tender, flavorful, and exactly how a great steak should be. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in the quality of their food and the way it’s prepared. Every bite was delicious, and the whole meal was really enjoyable from start to finish. What made the experience even better was our waitress, Jaimie. She was truly one of the best servers I’ve ever had. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. Her positive attitude and great service made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Between the amazing food and Jaimie’s outstanding service, this was such a great dining experience. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal and excellent service.

I hadn’t been to Royal Scam since 2019 and ended up coming twice recently, once during Mardi Gras (hectic!) and once on a Tuesday evening. Consistently good both times despite the vast differences. Our bartender and our server (Erica) were attentive, so friendly, and knew the answer to any question we had. I am glad to have come back after so long and will be back soon! The back patio has heaters which is such a plus.

Such an incredible restaurant in downtown Mobile. Was in town for business and was recommended to eat here for dinner. I didn’t realize they closed at 9pm but they still serviced our party at 10 til with no issues. George our bartender took care of us; the Filet, Snapper and sides were all amazing and they have a pretty solid wine list. Highly recommend!!

Another great New Year’s Eve dinner. Had drink at bar with George is always great. Waiter attentive, friendly and engaging.

Gumbo was delicious, and the crab cakes were very well done. The bartender was attentive and had a good vibe about him. The restaurant was small and quickly became packed so get a reservation. Plenty of space at the bar it you are going solo. Solid food not overly pricey and done very well thank you!

Set option menu for NYE. Crab cakes were delicious. Lobster Bisque was off to what I was expecting, an ingredient caused it to be not to my preference. Pan Seared scallops were great. The Hummus served and creamed Kale were not to my taste. My dining partner liked both the Hummus and creamed Kale.

Food was good but service not very attentive. Several times I had asked for additional items (drink, dessert, etc) but the waiter walked away before he could hear the request. Also kind of pricey for the portion size. But the Tiramisu dessert is exceptional! Smooth and creamy, with a dusting of powdered sugar on the plate to give it just a bit more sweetness.

I came here with my husband and 2 of our friends. I had the tuna martini & grilled salmon sandwich which were phenomenal. I ordered the French 72, and when it came my glass has lipstick on it. They quickly replaced it and our waitress was very kind and helpful. We sat in the dining area outside in the back, which was a great environment for catching up with friends. I would definitely go back.

The employees were wonderful. I had the pork belly and brussels sprouts slaw appetizer. It was plenty of food, no need for an entree. I highly recommend trying this restaurant.

We went for the first time during restaurant week and found the food and service to be great. We'll definitely go back to try the regular menu.

Very good burgers and steak. Stay away from the Peanut butter cheesecake... strange aftertaste of garlic...

Initially it seemed like great choice but as we progressed it was a struggle. The 2 servers we had were great individually but our order got screwed up. All the steaks came out over cooked from rare = medium to medium = well done. The sides were great, but desserts was wrong and we ended up just taking them so they servers didn’t get hit. Definitely not sure I would give a second chance but maybe in a smaller group. We could have sent food back but we were there for fellowship and that is what mattered to us. For the money it was not worth it.

Awesome atmosphere, staff, and location. If you love salt, then you'll love the food too. Everyone at our table was like "whoa, that's a salt block". Otherwise, the food is decent. Drinks were $10+/ea. My 6oz Fillet + Sea Scallop meal was $44.00. Table of 4 had a $260.00 bill, before tip, without overindulging by any standard. I mean, that's pretty pricey for food that isn't amazing. Doubt I'll go back; I didn't hate it, but there are too many places with better food and a comparable environment for much less money.

We went for dinner. The atmosphere was great, and the staff was friendly. The food was alright. I got the duck panini and it was delicious, but the cheese they used was very strong and an odd paring. My date got a steak burger which was good, but the juice from the mango salad (which was on the same plate) had soaked the bottom bun by the time he got to it.

The food was okay. The salad and bread pudding were tasty. My grilled mahi was dry. My hubby ordered the chicken dish and the chicken was dry. Our waiter, Daniel, was very good. Polite and very attentive. Would I go back, probably not.

Nice place inside and outside and you would expect a much better selection and quality for dinner. Both the seafood gumbo and the crab cakes had shells that I had to discretely remove. My husband's chicken looked like it was cooked twice. Great service, though. And the music......what ever happened to dinner music?

Must have been an off night last night. Gumbo just had a strong, I want to say Cumin after tatste and could not get over that even tried to cover it up with hot sauce, and not even that could overcome it. Our whole table tried it and no one could eat it, Left it on table to be disposed of. I had that land and sea as an entree and was also disappointed. However, it was eatable. My fillet was burnt, and all I could taste was the burnt outside, and besides that, the meat was not very tender or juicy and just not that great. Crab cakes were good, but nothing spectacular. Potatoes were also good and one of the best things on the plate. The asparagus were cooked well but underwhelming in flavor. One of the most flavorful things of the meal was the sauce that was with the crab cakes and probably my favorite part. However, it tastes like a boosted up version of the blooming onion sauce from Outback. My cocktail was good but a bit watered down when they mixed it over ice at too much or at the wrong temperature. The bottom line is that we won't be back. I am very disappointed after all the great reviews. I am assuming it must have just been an off night.

It started out promising, but my waiter let me run out of tea. For a fine dining (expensive) dinner this is unacceptable. The filet I ordered was over cooked, medium, but was served medium well. My server was polite, but letting a customer run out of tea or a beverage is unacceptable. As a general restaurant it was ok, but as a fine dining restaurant where you dress in nice clothes it’s not passable. Any fine dining restaurant would never allow a guest to run dry and start drinking their fellow diners drink. Also, the bar is adjacent to the tables and the bar tender was too boisterous.

We had a very nice waitress. Mango jalapeño margarita was way to spicy and very small for $14 in my opinion. My tuna tartare didn’t look as advertised and was not marinated whatsoever. The crab cakes are made with dark instead of lump crab meat. That was the most flavorful dish on the table, however. All of our portions were extremely small for the price and nothing was remotely worth the amount of money that we spent.
