Amazing beer and amazing food. Take a bit long but the live music and staff make it worthwhile.
If your looking for a good time, good beer, and great food. This is the go to place. And the staff is awesome.
Great fresh beer, look out out for those using locally grown hops! Some of the absolute best food in town, too!
Great time by our rather large group of motorcycle riders on this past Sunday Service was fast and no complaints on the food and drinks. Thanks GN.
Another great experience! Our server was fantastic and the food spot on! Thank you what a great place!
Amazing Beer and food. Great friendly staff! Highly recommend, certainly will visit again!
Me & my friends always stop there after a nice motorcycle ride, nice & clean place friendly staff & ice cold beer,, would highly recommend...
Fantastic beer, great food, super friendly people; what's not to love here?
Good beer and grub! Kyle Ossont and his jazz trio were great!
Great beer and food, extremely clean and nice building, and very friendly and helpful staff.
Excellent space, open a welcoming. Great staff and fantastic American style beers.
Love this place. Beer always make me smile and there is always something new to try!
Fun clean place with really friendly staff. More of a place for the atmosphere and drinks than the food.
Good beer and food. Good service. Go here. Support you local businesses.
Good brews, good food, awesome venue. No complaints :)
Friendly, Good service, sat at outdoor tables as lovely late afternoon, food was very good, served quickly, full selection of their own brews, topped off with homemade brownie with ice cream. Worth trying. Bands in Summer.
Very cute brewery with friendly staff; food and drink menus aren't the most expansive but the available options are tasty
I am checking out Good Nature this week to see about serving in my bowling alley. To Stacey Fuller who I have never met but as a business owner I have recently been subject to similar hateful threatening reviews....get the help you need before your hate consumes you and effects those children you mention in your review...this hate will hurt them far more than an overloaded service business trying to recover from an incredibly stressful moment in time
Outstanding service, beautiful area and building, fun staff and the food?? Omg so Good 👏 great libations and .......🐕🦺🐕🐾 Friendly ❤️ Thanks Sheila!! Fantastic experience! Steven n Sue Kulick (Toby and Jack Daniel puppers), East Stroudsburg Pa - staying at the Brae Loch in Caz. Kudo's!
Fabulous artisanal flatbreads; wonderful outdoor seating; excellent beer. What more could you ask for in the 315? Sheila served us and she rocked! 🎸
The place just opened up, and is a great place for people of all ages. Great bar food and great beer, as always. Staff are very friendly. Try to fries with the andalouse sauce!
Being accustomed to the craft beer/brewpub scene in Colorado, I didn't expect to find anything this nice in Central NY, but here it is. Wide selection of top notch brews and a nice outdoor biergarten. Try the Jackie II, thank me later.
Great beer, good appetizers and very friendly and fast service. We enjoyed the beautiful outdoor seating area as well.
Great beer, great food and great staff! We had a large party and the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back!
Good food, great beer and even better people!! -Erica Evans
Spent a wonderful Friday here with another couple recently. Plenty of libations for the adults and space to run around for the kids and the animals (although my wife would have a hard time distinguishing me from the kids/animals).
The brews were amazing and the food was great portions were huge. The staff were friendly and did a good job. Definitely going bank soon.
Great beer. Terrific food. Wonderful people. Lovely atmosphere. You will enjoy your visit!
Great beer selection, good food, and friendly staff. This has been my favorite place in Hamilton and still is my go to place.
An absolutely incredible experience. Food was out of this world and a huge change from last time we were there. The best kept secret in CNY.
My wife and I hadn't been back to Hamilton in 20+ years, and were very happy to discover Good Nature Brewery. We enjoyed a dinner outdoors, and the food, drinks and service were all terrific. I'd highly recommend it to anyone!
Love the menu and beer selection and even the cocktails at this brewery. Our server Romeo was fantastic too
Our first trip to Good Nature - Went to see Eddie and the Birddog - the venue was great, the food was delicious and our server Michael was amazing - for the most part he was the only person taking orders and waiting tables and he was just great - attentive and friendly and taking care of everyone. We will definitely be back! Cheers!
Great food and drinks, make sure you leave room for dessert! Awesome service - the chef knows his stuff!
Great ambience with a live band. We had a small issue with a food order that was promptly and effectively resolved by wait staff. Beer was great. They also allowed me to buy a pitcher of beer for the band. Would happily return when we return to the university.
Delicious food and beer, nice atmosphere.
Food was great and I was pleasantly surprised by the number of gluten free options (including the fries!). My only disappointment was coming back on Sunday to find that they have a different, brunch style, menu all day (which my family told me was delicious, just limited from a GF perspective).
Great, simple food, awesome atmosphere, and a gorgeous location. If you're in the area and are a fan of quality craft beer, you should absolutely visit this place!
One of the best breweries in Upstate hands down. Amazing space, friendly people, great food. Can't go wrong anytime of the week to sit and relax on their patio or in the beautifully designed tasting room. Can't wait to try brunch on Sunday. Cheers!
Great service; great food; awesome beer! Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area. They were also very accommodating and welcoming of a large and somewhat rowdy group (30+)!
I have loved Good Nature beer from the first taste. The downtown tasting room is a little small though. Now with this new facility, I am in heaven. It is a bit pricey but I don't ever mind paying for quality, and that is what this place offers.
The new server Danaela was fantastic. The entire staff was warming and accommodating, not to mention knowledgeable. Great beer selection. Try the pretzels w/ cheese 👏
Love the ambiance and music. The cocktails were great, and I really enjoy all the vegetables they offer.
We enjoyed the fish fry. The portion was large and cooked perfectly. I skipped lunch so I finished the whole thing! Also enjoyed an amber ale with the dinner. Staff was very friendly and we will definitely return in the near future for more food and brews. Love that this gem of a brewery is so close to home.
My husband I had dinner at Good Nature Brewery tonight. We were seated quickly, the menus were brought to the table within 5 minutes. The server returned and took our order and the salad and wine arrived quickly. The meals came in a timely manner. The meals and the service were fine.
Lovely facility in a great setting. The beers had a wide range of flavor and the food smelled amazing but we didn't try. Hoping to go back.
Heard so many great things about GNB&R so we dined there for our anniversary last night. We hadn't been here for years, and to say things changed would be an understatement. I liked the old place- a lot- but I LOVED the new restaurant. Greeted by the manager, we even got a quick tour of the new space. Beautiful. Artwork that changes every six weeks. Nice touch. Then we sat. I had an Amber Ale (delicious) and my wife enjoyed a specialty vodka cocktail while we looked over the menu. So many interesting options. We enjoyed a couple of small plates that were fantastic. Very thoughtful, seasonal-heavy cuisine and we even had help from staff to steer us towards drinks that would compliment the upcoming dishes. After discussing entree options ( I couldn't choose between two beef plates, the tenderloin and the ribeye), and being asked questions of taste and preference, the tenderloin was recommended. How refreshing that they didn't do the obvious up sale, but listened to my what my preferences were and helped accommodate my palate. It was absolutely delicious. My wife loved the wahoo fish plate recommended by Claire, our server. The entrees were fantastic. I could go on and on. Dessert was just as decadent. With two options and it being our 16th wedding anniversary, we splurged for both. I couldn't tell you if the choc cake or the cheesecake was better. Call it a tie; we loved them both! I like a glass of Cab Sauv to end my night at the dinner table, and that was full-bodied and bold, just the way I like it. When the check came, we felt like we had an experience. I think this place is a hidden gem and I am glad to know about it. Will most definitely be back and hope to have Claire again. Anyone with an appreciation of delicious food and warming atmospheres must give this place a day in court. I was looking at some of these silly reviews on Google, which is not smart on my part anyway, and one really stuck out to me. "They are trying too hard to be classy." Really? Really? After last night's 5-star experience, they are not trying at all.
Enjoyed a terrific meal here yesterday! Cannot rave of this place enough. The place is decorated beautifully, with local artwork displayed on the walls. The service and food were excellent! I shared the bell pepper risotto and salmon - both incredible. It's definitely a must visit, whether you're a local or just visiting - go check it out!
Took a drive out to eat here today and it was incredible! The furniture and jewel tone design was beautiful and set a nice ambience. We sat at the bar and tried a few drinks that the bartenders came up with and they were all deliciously crafted, nothing like I’ve tried before (but am gonna want all the time!) We got the avocado toast and the garbage plate that was served in a skillet. They really elevated the flavors of the avocado toast and the “garbage plate” looked amazing. I’ll 100% be back to try their dinner specials and the different drinks they create. One of my new favorite spots and it was the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
What an awesome place out in the country. Worth the drive. I enjoyed their New England IPA and their “Love in the Making” which is an imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels at 13% ABV. It was super smooth and delicious. Our bartender was attentive and engaging. Very awesome conversations. Their wings are also delicious! Hats off to the kitchen staff. My friend had a nitro cream ale and states it’s the best beer he’s ever had. Thanks for the service!
I was very impressed with the fish dinner they offered. The fish was cooed to absolute perfection! The portions were the biggest I have ever seen, with my group 3 people ordered fish and all of them looked amazing!
Arrived to a very pleasant atmosphere and an attentive staff. Tried their personal Irish Coffee Stout and it was delicious. Ordered the pulled pork sandwich and a side of the Mac and cheese. Pulled pork was cooked perfectly and topped with an in-house coleslaw. The mac was made with an agreed cheddar and gouda and panko crumbs which gave it an excellent flavor with the added texture. I would most definitely recommend this place to anyone who asks. I'll be coming back and definitely become a regular.
Food was amazing! We got the lobster bisque, scallops and crème brûlée, and every single dish was unique and delicious!
Spring 2024: Good Nature has finally opened back up under the name the Social Haus. They still sell their own beer with a new simple and unsatisfying logo. They appear to also be serving a number of other beers and ciders now. The interior is still being remodeled so all seating is outdoors, and they have a limited menu with typical bar foods. My verdict is still out on the new Good Nature. Post prior to 2024: Great beer and brewery food. Large outdoor seating area to comfortably sit at during the coronavirus.
Fun and clean atmosphere! Solid choice of local and regional brews. Diverse menu of classic bar foods: appetizers, pizzas, burgers, etc. Staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, as we were first-time visitors from out of town. Would highly recommend!

My family are new to NY and found Good Nature Brewing and Restaurant last winter. The food has been amazing and love the beer! I can't express enough how great the staff is. They are really attentive, helpful and emphasize on service which at most places is lacking these days. Really happy we found it and can't wait till the next time we go! Jimmy Cusack
Stopped in because we had never been and we will definitely be returning. The decor is really comfortable and inviting. The bar is beautiful. We had absolutely fantastic service from Rachel K. She was so attentive and friendly. The Margherita pizza was delicious as was the chicken sandwich. We especially enjoyed the pumpkin spice beer. It was a pleasant evening for sure.

Had a great time! We were looking for a deck of cards or.games.to.play bit didn't find any. Oh well we enjoyed our time there.
Beer was very good. Food was good. They had a glitch with computer and we didn't get our food for about 45 minutes. However, they made it right when they realized the error. I would recommend.
Beer was good! Service was not coordinated well but servers were friendly. Nice outdoor seating area. Dog friendly!
I had visited Good Nature's tasting room on Broad Street and I was anxious to see the new farm brewery further down the road by the Colgate campus...the building is beautiful esthetically and the grounds have a nice outside seating area with adequate parking... Once you enter the building you see a wide open floor plan with the brewing system on your right...a bar straight ahead...plenty of seating and a food window/kitchen on the left back wall... When they made the move to this new facility a new larger brewing system was installed to allow for growth and their recipes were redeveloped for the new brewhouse... The food selection was limited but quite tasty...you can order from the bar or the window in the back and you pick up your food at the table in front of the window...the burger I had was good...the fries fresh and crispy...they also offer pizza...soups...wood fired pizza and they started a supper club which I have not attended... The beers were a mix of older brews from the past and new recipes...I was pleasantly surprised at how the original beers tasted on the new system...the nose was more pronounced and the flavors were brighter...on my second trip there the beer selection was mostly happier beers in in the IPA family and while I enjoy beers from across the spectrum my companion tends to shy away from them...many of these new farm breweries seem to emphasize hop forward characteristics in their recipes..it is like a competition and while they are popular my opinion is they are overdone...pints...flights and growlers are all available... The staff was a mix of college age students when I was there each time...I am not a big fan of making at the bar without a conversation and the attention I received was to fill a glass and not much more...attempting to engage one of the "bartenders" in conversation fell flat for the most part on trip one...trip two while a lack of malt forward beer selection was frustrating we did get to meet co-owner Carrie who more than made up for the brew selection by being engaging...passionate about their establishment...she was warm...upbeat and shared the story of how things moved over the years...she gets five stars for the way she treated two strangers like family...I look forward to Carrie imparting her passion for the business on her staff to get them more engaged with "friends they had yet to meet"... Overall a great space...tasty and eclectic food...good brews...worth a trip to Hamilton to check out what they are doing...I will be back again...
Enclosed space of 1/2 acre. Small bandshell wgas providing live music the night I was there. It is placed along the route 12B side. Lawn and more tables for kids and family. Inside the restaurant it probably seats 40 people. Many windows are provided to view the impressive brewing room machinery beyond.l had pasta with vodka sauce my date had a salad and fries. Both were very good. Service was excellment.
I really enjoyed the space here, the dining room is very open, clean, and all of the wood accents/tables are aesthetically pleasing. The outside space has quite a bit of seating in a spacious wooded area. We sat at the bar inside and savored the grilled clams as an appetizer which were excellent. I ordered the blended burger which was hands down the most amazing veggie burger I've ever tried, topped with vegan cashew "mayo", score! You have this recipe on lock! My husband really enjoyed his grass fed burger as well. He is a brewer too and noticed something off in the beer's yeast. I thought they were all great so apparently my undefined palate could not identify the taste. Annie was my favorite. The bartenders were a little too preoccupied and more entertained talking to each other, but it was one of their birthdays. Overall I thought this place was pretty fantastic and will definitely return!
Stopped by for the first time after cold and rain derailed the afternoon - glad we did. Did not have a chance to try any food, but the beers were fantastic. Rare to come across a Brewery that can pull off solid imperial stouts AND sours AND round out the rest of the selection with something for everyone. Really some very talented brewers here. Bar service was good and we will definitely be back.
A very cool place drinking beer in a barn like structure on some farmland. A great outdoor beer garden and some pretty tasty food to go with the beer. An overall great place to relax and have a beer (or two).
If you're in Hamilton and looking for a fresh bite to eat and have a drink, this is the spot. Great atmosphere, delicious and filling food and fast service. It can be a little pricey, $70 plus tip for two at lunch. But worth the visit for a quick lunch date. They also have outside entertainment during the summer.

Great beer... Service was marginal... We will be back... Always willing to give local establishments another chance!
Cool atmosphere but bbq sandwich left much to be desired.
Definitely not the same without the bar room open. Drinking beer from a plastic cup takes you back to Kill A Keg from college. Some people had beer in a glass, do you have to ask? Basket of fries for $12 was way overpriced for the amount. I would have preferred an overpriced bag of pretzels.
Excellent soups. We had the curroed sweet potato chowder an the tomato basil. We split the the platter appetizer. Excellent tastes, but the prices are high.
There was plenty of spaced outdoor seating. Atmosphere was nice and the apple cranberry sangria was delicious. It was not very busy so ordering their hand cut fries and pretzels should not have taken as long as they did. My husband was almost done with his beer flight. When it did arrive the pretzel was luke warm and the fries were actually cold, no warmth at all. They went straight to a takeout container since we didn't want to wait for a new order. Very disappointing & we not be returning.
Disappointing. They only have 4 selections under Beer. Light, blonde, IPA & stout. They’re all canned (house canned) and not on tap. I had the double IPA and it was just mediocre. Looks like management changed hands, so it’s more of a restaurant than a brewery. I’m sure the food is good, I didn’t try that!
Food was good although small portions. Beer was good. Sodas were flat and our waitress was nice. Didn't enjoy the outdoors as much as I prefer no pets during my dining experience
Stopped by for a beer and a sandwich before the Cornell game. The brews are as usual first class. But my sandwich was bland and my friend's burger was way overcooked. Hope there has not be a falling off of quality in the kitchen, though the change of ownership adds an element of doubt.
Their signature beers are good, the spot is nice and very relaxed, however the food is not good. We got the veggie burger, the patty was decent but the sandwich itself was incredibly dry. Also got a pizza which was literally the soggiest thing ever. I picked up a piece and the cheese and toppings all slid off back onto the plate. The sauce was also very sweet making the whole thing inedible. Very disappointing.
I'll give it another try at some time. 3 stars is slightly generous though... It was a really warm day outside in the mid 80's, muggy and very little breeze so we decided to dine indoors. Unfortunately it was probably more comfortable outside than in. If the AC was on it was set to 85 , no air movement at all and the kitchen door was wide open to the outside ( no screen door) ... The Mexican style Lager was pretty good but the food was mediocre. The Caprese flatbread pizza was way over sauced ( almost impossible to pick up and hold) , bit too sweet and lacking sufficient cheese. On a good note the service was decent , food arrived fairly quickly the only snafu is not refilling our water ( which in that tropical environment , the glass was emptied pretty quickly)... I feel like this place could be better than the sum of our visit and deserves a second chance of redemption.

30 dollars for the tiniest piece of fish I’ve ever seen, these guys are trying too hard to be fancy for being so bad.
We got there saw it was busy and were ok with it. There were no directions on what to do until you got up to the register to order. The cashier was extremely rude and unhelpful. There were others that ordered after us. All seating was outside even though it was chilly. There was only one very tiny window for drink orders in a different location. The bar attendant was also taking phone orders on top of trying to keep up with the ever growing line. Then the bathroom entrance was on the opposite side. As we watched order after order come out of the kitchen wondering where our food was; we were also watching them shuffle things back into the kitchen. For the size of the drinks they were over priced. After waiting a full 2 hours our food was the last to come out of the kitchen. Which means for whatever reason ours got pushed to the end. Not sure why since we ordered 3 very simple items. I must say after the built up waiting and anticipation we were sadly underwhelmed. Our pizza was cold, the beer cheese was almost solid again, and the soup was the worst I've tasted. If we ever decide to go back they'll really need to step up their game. As of right now it is a regret that we went and stayed after waiting so long.
lots of other options in hamilton where you dont need to dip into retirement for food or feel like an inconvenience to the workers
Went here on a lovely night in July and the outdoor setting was wonderful. Unfortunately both the beer and food were highly mediocre. And the cocktail we ordered instead was too sweet. IDK, maybe the chef was on vacation but I'd never go back. Their server worked hard but it took forever for our entrees to arrive and we just ordered 3 burgers. This should not have been hard to prepare. And they were lukewarm when they finally arrived. Do not recommend.
This place has really gone down hill. A 6-pack that cost ~$10 a few months ago now costs $17... With a straight face 🙄 EDIT: I appreciate the response from the owner, but my review was left after the person at the bar insisted their cheapest six-pack was $17. I understand prices are rising everywhere, so if it's the case that the $10 six-pack is not $17, it would be great to identify how much it does cost now.

This was not a good experience. There are no signs to help a first time visitor navigate this brewery. Just getting a beer flight was confusing. I suggest a stack of flight choice order forms be provided on the bar. That at least would give a visitor a clue. Food is also a mystery. It was not clear where to order food. I would suggest some basic snacks items like popcorn, peanuts, and chips be available. While we were there, NO food was available. Personally I like to snack on something while I am tasting beers. We probably will not return to this brewery. Somebody there just doesn't get it!
Don't think I'll be returning to this place. Service sucked. The bartenders acted as if I was bothering them. The food was way over priced and not that good. Plus we all left hungry. Not to mention the beer wasn't even cold. I recommend driving to Empire Brewery in Cazenovia.
the person doing the bar service is horrible. To obtain a pitcher of beer and two plastic cups took over 10 minutes Next, person asked for two small drinks and that took about 5 minutes. I am speaking to the person right now and the person seems to be off a bit. Maybe not feeling up to the task
Guess money alone cant buy quality. Clearly new owners are throwing money at the place, but it’s not sticking. Beer is off and very limited. Food is overpriced and low quality out of a box nonsense. Place keeps shutting down because of equipment failures. Save the trip and your hard earned dollars. There’s no one at the helm.
Upon first walking in here, I was greeted by the biggest hair-gelled douche bag who acted like he hated his life and was as rude as ever. He was unfortunately the one who I had to place my order with. He also asked for my credit card before I even placed my order? I had hoped that the food would at least be decent considering the high prices and horrible service. My margarita pizza was 85% sauce on soggy dough with like two circles of mozzarella and a few burnt scraps of "fresh basil." My boyfriend's burger was bland, had one micropic inch of sauce, one pickle, and a completely stale bun that was as hard as a rock. He said it was actually the worst burger he ever had and that McDonald's made a better burger. Unfortunately his was $14. Rude staff, high prices, and horrible food. Would not recommend. I guess their beer is probably good based on the good reviews?
Terrible service took 45 minutes to an hour just to get our food and took about 20 to get our drinks And then later that night, a kid got sick. Do not waste your time
If you're up for a side of food poisoning you've found your place. About half of us got it recently. The response from management was less than sympathetic or adequate. The menu is bizarre and not compatible with a central NY brewery. Lots of safe and healthier non-toxic alternatives in Hamilton
Just left and quite honestly, it was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a VERY long time. I've worked in the restaurant industry for 10 years, and in that time I've NEVER once asked for a discount, but this was bad... First of all, we weren't greeted for almost 10 minutes. We ordered burgers and were never told that they were out of some toppings- no big deal but like.. at least communicate to your guest that something about their meal is not going to be what they expect. Secondly, it took ~45 minutes for us to get our food, which would've been understandable if they were packed, but nearly half the other tables were empty when we'd ordered... the table that was seated 30 minutes after us, got their meal (not their app!) within 10 minutes of us getting ours... something doesn't line up there, line cooks.. The icing on the cake was the BEYOND burnt Beyond Burger patty... which was so burnt and dried out that, despite having not eaten anything all day and being absolutely famished, I couldn't bring myself to eat more than 3 bites. The mac and cheese would've redeemed y'all a little, but it was luke warm at best by the time it got to me. Like I said- I work in a restaurant. I understand that mistakes happen, but this was just... really really bad.
That is giving too much praise. I went there with 5 adults and 4 kids, firstly we had to go to the bar to ask someone to come to our table. When they did we were told food is going to take awhile, so order appetizers…so we did. The kids only ordered two sides of Mac & cheese. So about 40 min goes by and they bring out the last thing ordered a burger and chips for the only adult that ordered food. Still no simple food we were told would be quick, fries or pretzels. After almost an hour I decided since not one person had common courtesy to even come by once after that, to get up and leave. The food at that time (2sides of Mac & cheese and fries/pretzels) were still not even being prepared. Mind you they brought the one adult order 20 minutes before I left, I told them to cancel and they looked shocked. As a business owner their lack of customer service or even acknowledgement was disgusting. If I ran my business like that I would not expect customers. I will not recommend to anyone and I will make sure no one I know will either.
We had a $50 gift card from almost a year ago so we decided to drive about a hour 1 way to the brewery for dinner. Service was good, american brown ale was great, food was a serious let down. It speaks volume that I'm actually taking the time to leave a review. Ordered a BBQ brisket sandwich while she ordered a burger and fries. The sandwich was absolutely tiny with a tiny side salad. Her burger wasn't bad, fries definitely sat for a while. Generally a letdown other than it being a beautiful night. Great beer, nice environment there... But even if I had another gift card I wouldn't of wasted my time for dinner.
I've been going there for a very long time. When I first started they had a staff that was very enthusiastic, energetic and knowledgeable when speaking about their beers. This was 5 plus years ago....Now the staff looks like they want to be anywhere else but there. Even the bartenders who are supposed to be the ones talking up the beers. Went Friday night to close out the tab and the "hip dude" with backwards hat just tosses the receipt on the counter and walks away. Asked do i need to sign only to be ignored as he turns his back toward me and my wife. I been there 3 times in the past 2 months and they're all the same. The atmosphere is the equivalent to a bar. There is absolutely 0 direction it seems with the staff. Was seated but didn't have a waiter. So we went up to the counter outside the awkward wide open kitchen to order pretzel and the person said you have to have a waiter take your order. So out came a random older woman who i didn't see all night place the order for us. Beer, it seems you also get yourself that's if you can fight through the colgate students who always block the bar socializing.... So overall, it has gone down hill. Beer isn't as good as it used to be. Food not good (they have kids in the back making food) service terrible. I'll try again because I am local but not for awhile...
Super disappointed in the food and service this time around. Their menu really has very little to offer anymore. Maybe they should consider adding new items to their menu. I use to come and order garlic wood fired pizza which they no longer offer…all they offer is flat breads now…Their garlic knots are pretty much greasy fried dough that you would get at a fair. The mac and cheese is very bland as well. The service was not thay great either and our waitress never came and checked on us at all… we eventually had 2 other waitress come and take care of us finally. We live locally and unfortunately we are crossing this off our list to eat at.
Here for Colgate parents weekend. Normally good place that always struggles with service - absolutely avoid on busy Colgate weekends. They have a terrible staffing shortage. More than 3 hours here and still no food. Waitress keeps saying "in 30 minutes" when we see her once every half hour or so. It took 45 minutes to see the waitress for the first time after we sat down. Normally a great place but understaffed and overwhelmed on this busy weekend. Oh and no room to sit inside either, so this means two and a half hours sitting outside at the picnic tables and it's 40 degrees. We spoke with the owner/ manager, who said that this is one of their biggest moneymaking days of the year, so she wasn't going have her staff tell customers that they should expect a 3 hour plus wait, and she blamed the hostess for not telling us to expect a two hour wait. After 3 hours. And after our waitress said 30 minutes. She said they had only 4 servers and 4 kitchen staff, and the kitchen folks were teenagers. We left, hungry and cold, after 3 hours - our order had not even been started yet. I let the manager know she's creating a customer satisfaction disaster by not turning customers away when she knows they won't be fed for hours, at a casual burger place.

Unfortunately our bad review started with being seated outside with the guys putting the table together as they acted like we were a nuisance. There was zero organization as to who would be waiting on us. We started with one guy who was very pleasant, took our drink orders and did his best to hear all of us. The girl who came out next was nice, but didn’t crack a smile the whole time. As the food began to come out (30-45 mins later with salads taking the longest to appear) the ordered medium well burgers were delivered medium rare and when returned the excuse was “we’re busy” with maybe 10 other people inside. Our ticket came out as a whole table and again felt like a nuisance when asked to split the bill. There are better places in town with better service and better food. If they are a “brewery” they should stick with just alcohol. By the way, as soon as we walked out the “chef” (short order cook) ripped out of the parking lot. Don’t waste your time. Dear Owner, Thank you for your response. Your comment regarding calling ahead for large parties, I have to wonder why this is not an issue at other restaurants in the area. Your “peak dinner hours” included one table of 6 and one table of 2 inside. This interesting since you have enough tables inside to accommodate 30 plus. Regarding the lady that waited on us, I say again she was kind, but for someone in customer service a smile goes a long way. To act like you enjoy your job shouldn’t be too much to ask for. To make a customer feel like they aren’t a bother would, again, go a long way.
The restaurant has completely changed their vibe and menu between 8/25 and 9/25. What was previously a fine dining restaurant is now a casual pizza place. It's fine for a business to pivot, however they neglected to update their online menu or social media to reflect it. I showed up with my wife for a sit down dinner. Instead of our usual dining experience with someone at the hostess stand, we had staff from the bar yell across the restaurant to "just sit down wherever". This wasn't a big deal, until we noticed the stapled-paper menus with only pizza and wings options. We ended up leaving, as we felt duped over the lack of transparency by the business. It's sad that the business has changed for the worse. It was a favorite spot of ours and we won't be returning.
We arrived at 6:30. Our appetizer order was taken then our dinner order was taken. We are fairly certain the server forgot to put it in as almost TWO HOURS later we were served our dinner. We were only a party of 5 and all the other tables that had other servers were finished eating and left. The Brussel sprouts were delicious ( appatizer) the pizza and the burgers were o.k. but the service was not. 1st and last time we will visit.
