Very fast and efficient service and most importantly food was made well.
Me and 1 of my dinner guests ordered 2 orders of the Smoked Brisket, it was absolutely delicious! We both absolutely loved it! My daughter ordered a Burrito and she enjoyed it. We dined there and the atmosphere was very nice. Will definitely be returning to this restaurant. Very happy with the service as well. The 2 ladies that served us were very sweet and the gentleman at the register was very nice.

Tables are always a mess- lol, but always a friendly staff, always great tasting and varied vegan-food options!! (I'm plant-based) and always a friendly line of people waiting to order. Would be nice if chips could be heated for added freshness.

Never had any issues with the accuracy of the mobile order BUT they do not leave the orders on the shelves, so you have to wait in line for someone to acknowledge you to ask if your order is ready. Kind of defeats the purpose of the mobile order to be a "grab and go" situation. Witnessed a customer speak with an employee who handed her a mobile order. She walked back in to inform them she had someone else's order. The employee just put a sticker on the bag with the intent of giving it to the rightful person. I ordered a pick up order through DoorDash and when I brought my food home, the Bowl and burrito did not weigh as much as they normally do, there were barely any food in it. I would only walk in and get your food. Do not order delivery or pickup.
The food is OK at this Chipotle. I don't blame the staff, I blame the traffic. There is a non-ending line here. The place is always dirty and they always seem to be playing catch-up. The staff always seems to want you to leave them alone.
I usually love eating here but today was terrible. My rice was undercooked like crunchy. The lettuce was rotten. The beans were all dried out like they reheated yesterday's beans. And I ordered vegetarian and got meat in my bowl. I don't know but I'm gonna think real hard next time I want to come here. I think next time I'll just go to Taco Bell and get the Catalina bowl. And the soda fountain was down which isn't a big deal but on top of everything else.

1. Closing starts at this Chipotle 2+ hours before actual closing time (went before 9 pm tonight and they close at 11 pm) 2. Staff is rude and nasty even to kind, forgiving, regular customers 3. Food runs out around 6 or 7 pm any day of the week. They have the food in stock in either the online order area or the in person area, but never both and the staff doesn't want to move far enough to reach either area. I get that the online customers already paid, but they miss ingredients and don't mark them out of stock before you pay for the extras and have to consistently complain on the app later. All in all, horrible staff and horrible communication. Never anything in stock. Managers need to do a better job at ordering stock and having the staff make the right amount of food for the shift. No wonder the staff is stressed out and rude as heck; food runs out at all hours of the day and the staff gets yelled at by customers and management. Staff gossips about customers behind the transparent glass. Have some respect for yourselves. Do better. Hire better managers. You have a business to run, so run it. Multiple attempts to order through the app which said it couldn’t process payments and to order in person. Apparently a quesadilla can only be purchased through an online order. So I had to order something else. Order was for multiple people which included drinks. No drink carriers available. Thanks I’ll just struggle with multiple drinks bags.
Sunday 1130. Stopped for lunch. Place is filthy, food was cold and the customer service was awful. The girl filling our order and also ringing us up acted like we were such a bother. Being a former chef this place would not pass health inspection or cervsafe standards. Food was definitely not up to temperature. Food poisoning waiting to happen.
Generally speaking, the food is good, but the restaurant has really gone downhill. It is a dump now, in need of repairs. Every other time I go there, there is no ice. Seriously? I'm talking at least a year of this. It's 2025, get a nice machine that works. Very unappealing which leads to very unappetizing.
I online ordered light on rice but the burrito was mostly rice with hardly any meat, sauce, or guac. The orders all sat on the shelf behind the counter and it was hard to get anyone's attention to get your order. The bathrooms were also very dirty.
The food preparation area was very dirty. Every table were dirty. The floors are nasty. They were out of basically everything. Nothing was restocked. I love the food however has me wondering if the areas occupied and seen by customers look like this. What does the kitchen area and areas that we cannot see look like. I WILL NOT BE GETTING FOOD FROM THE MIDDLETOWN LOCATION. 🤔😅🧐😵🤢🤮 Board of health would definitely have a field day.
The service at this Chipotle was very slow. Only one person was handling orders, and it took me almost 30 minutes just to place mine. The staff at the counter didn’t seem to care much about providing good service. I wouldn’t recommend coming here if you’re in a hurry.

This location used to be good, employees are now just employed by a bunch of reckless teenagers who don’t care. Guy who made my tacos tried to just stack three shells across the bottom like a burrito, gave me an attitude when I politely asked him to fold them a little more correctly. Arrived as shown in picture. Cashier was too busy telling her coworkers about her personal life as I stood there waiting to pay. Also acted like I was bothering her when I just needed to tap my card. It’s a shame because the food is great but I’ll just have to go to other locations.
Disappointed 😞 Each time we have gone to Chipotle they are out of multiple items. Last time we didn't even get the correct take out order. It had my husband's name on it but absolutely not what he ordered. Employees are RUDE. Not sure we will be returning.

While the food I did get was pretty good, it was definitely smaller than what you are paying for. I had maybe half a cup of protein and everything was pretty much in the center leaving the bowl almost empty on the sides. I've had this happen on multiple occasions and unfortunately I think after I use up what rewards I have left I'm done with them...
This location is consistently disappointing. The restaurant is almost always dirty, with tables and floors left messy for long periods of time. It feels like there’s no real system in place to keep things running smoothly. Despite having plenty of staff on hand, the line moves extremely slowly, which makes the wait frustrating. On top of that, they are frequently out of key ingredients, which defeats the whole purpose of going to Chipotle. Overall, it seems poorly managed and unorganized compared to other Chipotle locations. Definitely not the standard you’d expect from the brand.
This is the fourth - and probably last - time I've gotten food here. The staff at this location generally have a bad attitude and they're slow. They put waaaaay more toppings on orders than they should so are constantly running low or out of things slowing the process even more. The food is expected Chipotle chain restaurant - good but nothing special. The atmosphere is not great. Lots of dirty tables and floor.
The food preparation area was very dirty. All the tables were dirty so I had to eat in my car. I heard a customer ask the lady at the line to clean it up before she would make her meal. One bathroom needed cleaning. I also observed a staff member coming in using bad language in front of clients. It seems a bit relaxed for being an open concept restaurant. The ladies doing mobile food orders were great however. Im an honest reviewer since I ran a public service business for 24 years. I loved my food. I agree with all the bad reviews here. The staff needs to be retrained desperately. The ethic of some staff is also questionable as I had asked for a cup for water after purchasing my food. He told to me that the water soda machine was not working. When I passed by the machine, it was working properly. I went back to confront him, he then said they are no longer providing cups for water. Obviously he lied.

Food is fine when you get it. However, we moved all of 6 feet from the door while waiting for 20 minutes for nothing. Easily 90+* in the dining area, the food line was in such disarray during this time and that was only for the people walking in. The otherside had an additional line of pre-orders just waiting, I'll assume, for their orders to be worked on/done. Double up on a station, ask for help, manager apologize and say 'Sorry folks, we will be with you when we can' I would have accepted that. Jesus Chipotle, you know you're gonna be busy on a Friday this isn't a new concept. I was in and out at Taco Bell with more food (for the same price I would have spent there) before I even finished this message.
This place has gone down hill. I used to love it. Went to get my salad but they were out of lettuce SMH..... Then when I got home to eat, I found foil in my guacamole. Ps they charged my husband full price, and I had to use my own lettuce. Service was so slow. Meat was not even chopped up bite size. Quality of chicken is not as good either. Many pieces were rubbery. I just tossed the meal out.
Im very annoyed by Chipotle! As much as I dislike coming to this location due to shortage of absolutely everything I keep going back because my wife love their food. But it's very disappointing to see a restaurant yet alone a chain of a multi billion company constantly running out if cash, supplies, and food! Like who manages this place! Aside from they staff rudeness I arrive to the restaurant to pick up my order mind you im 5 mins late picking it up...then to wait on a long line because the staff is behind 45 mins for online order ! The on-site lime to order was much shorter...should've just gone there. Anyways then for one of the employees to shout out "we don't have any bowls we are only making burritos and tacos" was just like whattttt so you make people wait on a line and then say your out of food!! They should focus on the customers on line very annoyed and worked with them to show them how to cancel a order or how to get a refund but come on above all else learn to day Sorry ! Ot be rude because you guys can't do the one thing your suppose to do which is serve food. I had to cancel my order which wasn't so easy . If I could give this a 0 star I would. The staff and managers are very unprofessional in this establishment! The way employees & management speak in front of customer is very disgusting. Racist comments are made and attitude to customers. I wouldn't want that bad energy coming with my food. They really need to change the managers there terrible no customer service and its a game there. Corporate need to visit the middle town location asap....
Rude cashier . The young lady that made my bowl was very attentive and Nice. But when I got to the (clear) young man at the register he was very dismissive and rude. And when I asked for vinaigrette he lied and said they didn’t have any when I clearly saw it so I asked the young lady and she politely gave it to me. I won’t be back.
Couldn't be worse if they tried. This is staffed wall to wall by rude, entitled college kids. They ran out of spoons, which if you are dining with small children, you know how difficult that is. The cashier was unbelievably rude when he had to answer basic questions about fruit choices for a kids order. Ice machine was broken, the tables both inside and outside were visibly filthy. There are plenty of other eating options in this plaza. Don't bother with this one.
Later at night the workers don't care/barely acknowledge you. No one cares about online orders. Had to wait a long time after my scheduled pick up time for my order. Had to ask them about my order 2x for them to even make it. And then my order was missing several components which they did not tell me. This is not the first time this has happened. And I'm not the only one this has happened to. I see other people waiting for their online/mobile order for as long or longer than I do.
If you prioritize your health and wellbeing I would recommend you to be cautious when going into the Middletown, NY location since on Sunday, March 26 at 4:00pm. I mobile ordered a bowl and it came with a cockroach, thankfully it was visible to me. I reached out to the assistant manager and she was helpful and had mentioned that the field manager was going to contact to which they failed to. I truly understand that Chipotle itself, it’s pretty hard to find within the Sullivan and Orange County area since they do not have much restaurants available, as I have stated be cautious, since it seems that they fail to implement their sanitization protocols.
Walk in at 9 pm after my 10 hours of work on Monday. The staff don’t even look at the line of 5 people’s and just continue talking to his/her co workers. I understand it’s late, but I’m a hungry customer. After 5 minutes of unwelcoming. I just walkout and went to Wendy’s drive thru.

Hopefully something can be done because we won’t be visiting this place any longer.
More of a war zone than a restaurant. Employees are sweating, the food counter has food slug everywhere. Cash? They don’t take it. Yesterday and today when I stopped in they had no cheese, the last year every time I stopped in they had ice machine wasn’t working. First of all I want to say that the food is amazing for chipotle! My family and I love chipotle no beef with the food. But customer service is not so great! Very disappointed. usually when we go in I feel like my order is being rushed and all but I understand it’s fast food and you gotta get the line moving. Understandable. But today I decided to go with my son to get something to eat and enjoy. Everything was good till the girl that was taking care of us kept acting like she didn’t hear my son’s order. Looks like she ran out of one of the ingredients and seem to get bothered because we asked her if she can get more of the corn for the burrito. She literally ignored me and rolled her eyes at my son and did not respond or said anything!!! She definitely had an attitude problem…. I was like that was so unnecessary… She was very annoyed and just looked like she didn’t want to be there. It seems no one likes to work there and never seems to greet you or give you a smile or give you good customer service. I usually don’t care about these type of things but rolling your eyes at a young kid is out of line and so unprofessional. I feel maybe the manager needs to have a really good talk with the staff and figure out who does and who doesn’t want to actually work there. Maybe get them educated on how to be polite and respectful to customers so they come back and bring more money in every time. Good customer Service attracts more customers. And more customers keep on coming if they are treated right and greeted correctly. Spending your money in a place where you feel unwelcome feels like a waste of time and money honestly. Makes me not want to go there again and deal with this type of people or situations. Hopefully chipotle changes a few rules and ways and upgrade for the better.
I don't appreciate getting ripped off on the 50 mile-per-hour scoop of food sliding off the spoon; hoping that a morsel makes it to the bowl. Or being rushed through the line while they pay more attention to the number of people coming in behind me, as if serving me in that moment is not their goal. Only for them to finally slow down enough to collect every penny from me, stop me from leaving, because they failed to ring up the $0.50 tortilla that the other teammates didn't communicate. And there was plenty of staff. You, the customer, are treated like an obstacle to their shift break, or a means to an end like corporate-driven extortion. No receipt offered, so I can't review what I even paid for. Overall, 1 star. Food probably tastes okay but portions were microscopic, 2 stars. Service was mostly garbage, especially their main server who you can tell they rely on for her "speed"--a few staff members attempted to be fair or helpful, 2 stars. Atmosphere was chaos and unwelcoming, 1 star.
This location in particular is the worst for delivery drivers. The staff is terrible and the attitudes I’ve encountered recently validates every recent review I’ve seen submitted. I went in today and also yesterday and the same young man at the front counter just walked off the register only to go outside and text message whoever he was interacting with leaving his team hanging. The location was swarmed with customers. How does the manager not recognize that? Everyone there looks completely miserable and are very rude with an exception of a few associates. The lack of a manger presence clearly shows. If the manager happens to be a blonde girl that wears black with cut up jeans, then Chipotle should be ashamed of themselves for hiring someone that is as unprofessional as her. The packing of all of their online orders shows they do not care for their customers. It’s disgusting as the bags are never sealed properly which makes it look like they get tampered with after they leave the restaurant!! I will not be reaching out to whatever link the company wants me to reach out to as I have absolutely no intention of ever eating in this location ever. Do yourselves a favor. Don’t eat here and spend your hard earned money elsewhere.
as you can see all the recent reviews are bad for good reason. Been going here consistently 1-2x a week for years now and as of late with all the new staff it has been bad. Everything was salty for two weeks and now everything is cold. I can literally watch them make the food in front of me and it will still be cold. Turn up the damn burners man. I dont even have to mention them forgetting guac or messing up your order. Its been bad all 2025 at this chipotle!
I went here in the past month and a half 4 times, Everytime I came there's a sign of something is down/not working. No ice, they ran out of guacamole... yesterday soda machine is down and the next day no rice?! The portion size, you all should know how skimpy they are especially here. This is the worst chipole, I stopped coming a while ago and thought i'd try it again. Wrong. Food is bad, service is bad, and they are suuuperrr slow and understaffed. You'll wait and then be sick when the food isn't even worth the time and money.
I have had numerous negative experiences in this location specifically with different team members. However, yesterday evening I was baffled at the treatment in store after receiving not only one but two incorrect bowls without being notified they were out of multiple toppings. Granted I placed a mobile order but when I went back to let the team know my order was completely incorrect your manager on duty had no people skills and was extremely rude. When I told her my bowls were incorrect, she replied “okay and what’s wrong though, is the meat and rice correct” I then said there is no lettuce, beans, or cheese on either of my bowls. To which is made cups of topping and slid to the end. When I asked if she could add the toppings to my bowl, she laughed and said “you can do it yourself” she continued to give me dirty looks during this interaction with no apologies whatsoever. I then asked for her name and to speak to the manager to which she clapped her hands together very aggressively multiple times while saying “I cannot give you that, I will not give you that” I am a store manager and I was extremely embarassed for your store and your entire staff who had to witness this treatment to a customer. I did nothing wrong but ask for my $30 order to be fixed to which it was not. Please let go of or retrain your manager as she is going to turn a lot of people away from this location. It is absurd that there are people like her working there as a representative for your brand. I have never been more embarrassed and upset Walking out of an establishment before.
Do not do any mobile orders. Nobody will acknowledge you. I said the name for my order and the guy at the front just yelled the name and continued to stand there. My bag was already ready but nobody was responsive or even checked. It had to take another upset costumer after 20 minutes to basically walk behind the counter to ask someone to help out the people waiting.
I went in yesterday they had just opened every employee in the store was rushing back and forth in groups from the register area to the kitchen they never made eye contact with me the customer. There was a employee standing behind the counter he had his back towards me while I was on the line waiting to be acknowledged to be served let alone I was the only customer on line and he knew I was standing there and he never said a word he just kept his back toward me I looked at all the people behind the counter for a good 15 to 20 minutes nobody said a thing to me I couldn't believe what I was experiencing at least 10 people or more on the opening shift and not one person asked me what I needed. I think the manager was a Spanish man he ignored me also every one of them ignored me completely so I decided to exit the store and not wait any longer to order anything and when I got to the entrance door and looked back all eyes were on me all of a sudden I noticed and I nicely told them I would be giving them a poor review and exited the store.. Management and those employees are going to make your company loose money because of no good service in that store I'm never entering that Chipotle again..The time was 11am July 24.2025
The black beans wasn’t cooked well, they were raw this chipotle Franchise is not the same, now they established the Clint base they don’t care I paid $17 to get raw food I know the minimum wage is like $16 but why charge so much to give raw food they just want to satisfied stock market
black bald head lady at the front cashier was very rude to every customer, was throwing bags at the customers, even if your angry don’t ever take it out on a customer I work in fast food &’ im a manager no matter how mad I am I will not take it out on my customers it’s always a time and place if you can not handle fast food or don’t have customer service skills you shouldn’t work in it having her at front counter can ruin your own establishment, you will have customers walking out of your establishment, making no money at your establishment, you shouldn’t be angry to take it out on a customer thank you very much you should look into it
I came into this chipotle super hungry and super excited as i’ve lived here my whole life and never had a bad experience. However, today was very different. I walked in as one of the first customers since they had been temporarily closed all day, okay fine. I go to order my food and the worker taking my order was very much in his own world and was barely listening to what I had asked for. As someone who loves chipotle and goes often, I understand the regular portion sizes. When he did put the food in my bowl, he barely gave me any thing, giving me half a spoonful of everything to the point I might as well had 4 pieces of rice in my bowl. I had to ask for more, okay fine. The white rice was STALE , the lettuce tasted weird, and the chicken was not even in chunks, it was in shreds and barely had any meat. I asked for corn in a cup on the side for my tacos, he looked at me very weirdly and put it in the cup. Little did i know, he didn’t even bother to close the cup and I opened my chipotle bag to corn EVERYWHERE. To add, while I was ordering my food the workers kept talking about how they were mad that there were so many customers even though they just opened. I’m sorry for coming to a business that sells food to hungry CUSTOMERS, next time I will keep in mind that the workers do not want me there. When I was paying for my order, I asked a simple question about my chips on the side and the worker gave me the rudest look and tone ever. I have never felt so unwelcome in a food establishment before and never had a chipotle bowl this bad in my life. I might as well of went to taco bell and got more food and a better experience. I don’t even want to go back to this chipotle ever again.
Store is always absolutely filthy. Tables a mess and garbage cans over flowing. You order for pickup and they just ignore you when you ask for your late order. They don't even put the online order in the correct spot. They hide it behind the wall so you have to wait for a employee to acknowledge your existence for standing there like you're there for fun.
I don’t know if the staff can’t read or they simply hate their jobs but they can never get a ubereats order right, this is the 3rd time this week they messed up my order and it’s just annoying at this point. This last order clearly said I wanted a bowl and I got a burrito. I can’t eat the tortilla because I can’t eat gluten therefore a complete waste of time . How do you put a order sticker on a burrito that clearly says a bowl. Smh i think they can’t read at this point because this is ridiculous and frustrating. The best part is you can’t even call them so I’m sure orders been messed up all week with others as well. Close down if you can’t learn to service the public correctly.
Showed up at 10:45 and waited almost 30 min. Every worker who came out the door was rude and annoyed that we were there at opening time and waiting outside for them to unlock the door. We ended up walking away and and got some Jersey Mikes (which was amazing) . On our way back to our car they still weren’t open… glad we didn’t wait.
This place is usually good but when I went today (June 16th 2025) we placed a mobile order 15 minutes before arriving at the store. Waited almost 30 mins for the food once we got there, in the mobile order area. Then, once we got the food we left and opened it to discover it wasn’t even our food, yet labeled as our food. One of the most unpleasant experiences I have had in a while and I don’t ever write reviews LOL. This place needs to do better with having staff focus on both customers on BOTH sides. There is more than enough hardworking staff here and both sides should have the support they need. People constantly are waiting 20 minutes on mobile-orders. If the app is going to be promoted as a fast way to get the food then they should actually have support. They need a way better system because whatever they have going on right now is not it. I didn't even eat my food because it was no where close to what I wanted.
Save your money. They are RATIONING food. It is unbelievable. I got a burrito and there was more guacamole than rice and chicken. This is NOT the first time this happened. This is disappointing and disgusting. This place needs to be under new management because this is a popular place in the community and it’s a shame that the food portion is terrible. If y’all are going to ration food, lower the price. I probably will not come back here. You are better off going to McDonalds, you’ll get more food. Give customers what they pay for or lower the price if you can’t handle it. Shame on y’all.
The person at the counter served me a tiny portion of guacamole, half of what the next person was given by a different employee. I then had to ask for extra after I saw that the other customer was given a significantly larger portion. While eating my chicken bowl, I discovered a piece of chicken that was very undercooked, nearly raw in the middle. This is a very concerning issue of food safety and I am overall very disappointed about my experience at this location.
It’s probably the worst place to get chipotle in America, we placed an order on the app and said it would be ready at a certain time but when we arrived the food wasn’t even ready yet. There was only one person doing everything while the rest of the workers hid in the back
Went to get food, was told that I had to do my order through the app because I had multiple “requests”. Stood waiting for my food for 20 minutes and asked what is going on. Couldn’t get an answer from anyone. Stood there for 45 minutes to a hour well many others got food via line or online order. Asked for refund and was told to call 1-800-chipotle for refund. Manager was rude and should be fired for her actions along with the guy in the line that was just ignoring me. This place is a joke. Attached is the photo of my order that they posted as “confirmed pickup” I NEVER RECEIVED ANY PARTS OF MY ORDER
We ordered the Keithadilla to try out. Picked up our order and noticed the Chipotle honey vinaigrette was missing. Went back to the store and they told us they were all out of the sauce. This was not told to us at pickup. I wouldn’t have ordered it if I knew the sauce was sold out, or we would have just chosen another sauce. Lastly, I ordered 2 chicken and 1 steak. I got 3 steak quesadillas. Very disappointed with this order. This was a waste of $40 since I didn’t get my actual order. Chipotle staff…you should let your customers know if you’re out of chicken, we replaced your order with steak. If you don’t have a sauce tell them so they can choose something else. Won’t order this again. Chipotle get this together!
This location is ALWAYS DIRTY. Their soda fountain machine has been broken for YEARS serving flat soda with NO ICE! Certain ingredients or drinks are always for “online customers only” food is always hit or miss and never hot. Only chipotle in the area and it’s the worst. DO BETTER
This location was actually nice at one time. They're usually quite busy and are clearly understaffed. The cleanliness has suffered as a result. There was overflowing trash in the garbage areas inside and out and my table had crumbs and hadn't been wiped down. The most concerning issue was the restroom's hygiene. It appeared it hadn't been cleaned in some time. While I understand restaurants get busy, more frequent cleaning, especially in restrooms, would significantly improve the customer experience. I've included this a photo to give you an idea. I wished at that point I hadn't already paid for my food. If the restrooms are in this state, it raises concerns about the kitchen's cleanliness. I hope the management addresses these issues. As for me it will be my last visit. Some things you just cannot unsee!
The speed with which we were served was ok however the restaurant was filthy. No one was eating at any of the tables I assume because they were so dirty. The floor wasn't swept, and the counter and behind the counter was equally gross. I made the mistake of looking in the kitchen after I got my food. The utensil and drink counter didn't look like it had been cleaned for weeks. There was dried rice in the fork holder! I will definitely not be going back to the Middletown, NY location again. Where did cleanliness and pride in work go?
EDIT TO ADD THE WORST PART: you have to shimmy past the HOT grill that they place in the way of the bathrooms to use a disgusting bathroom with no soap. So the staff isn't even washing their hands and there's no way this grill isn't a safety hazard. Came in for a quesadilla but you can't order one in person, only on mobile. I don't understand that at all but it's not the staff's fault so we said "okay we'll order it on the app" and sat down. The tables were all dirty and the staff kept looking at us and were obviously complaining that we had chosen to place a mobile order. Very rude. Only one employee was making food out front, one employee was making mobile orders, and 4 others were closing the place down, but they're still open for 2 more hours. Waited 20 minutes past when the app said it would be ready (30min total) for one bowl and one quesadilla. While we were waiting a customer asked an employee "is that rice fresh?" And the employee says "no. I mean, kinda"...... run far away from this location, don't waste your hard earned money for rude service, a 30min wait, dirty tables, and "no, kinda" fresh food. When we did finally get our order it was missing half of the food and we had to wait all over while they dug through all of the mobile orders bag to try and find it.
I ordered three tacos. What is this mess ? I can’t even pick up one to eat
Worst chipotle ever!! Do not order from here they always make the order wrong if they don’t forget the chicken they forget the guac. Management is useless as well so it won’t matter if you report it.
The prepping area is unorganized and not the cleanest. They will scoop out protein then take it out of your plate once and you’ll end up with half a scoop. And worst of all the rice was not well done. The rice was a bit hard. Will not be coming back
The servers were down and they said we would have to wait 10 minutes to order. Fine. We wait longer but whatever that's not a problem we just wanted to get something. The store was trashed, as every chipotle is somehow. Food everywhere trash everywhere. But what made us actually walk out was watching an employee walk over to the hot food where you order, and eat directly out of the steak dish with his hands. You can't even make this up. Not only once but he went back in with the same hand and had more. ?? They said they are going to talk about it after I wrote a complaint but with the condition of the place already I really doubt that anything will be done.
The people who order online take priority over the people who are there in person trying to purchase their food. Absolutely Ridiculous Under staffed and poorly managed. If it was managed properly they wouldn’t be making people wait 40 minutes for chicken after telling them 20 and then finishing cooking the chicken only to say it’s for online orders. I tried to order chips and they refused to give me any because they were for online only… poor policy
I will never ever go back to this Chipotle. I got better service at my high school cafeteria than here. The counters were dirty with crusted on beans, lettuce, rice, sour cream, and cheese. I asked the staff to clean it before making my food and they bring out the dirtiest rag I've ever seen. Nothing looked fresh and the manager was right there and didn't say a word. My food was thrown on like slop. There was no napkins, tops for cups, and no chipotle hot sauce. If you are looking to get your food from the garbage pal kids this is the place for you.
Staff lacks sense of urgency when line is long. At one point no new order was taken for 10 minutes straight. Additionally, portion sizes are egregiously small — my one order of carne asada consisted of 5 pieces of meat. Plenty other great Mexican food places in the area — strongly advise against donating (yes, donating) your money to this Chipotle.
7-8 employees were supposedly working. Only 2-3 actually doing anything. We waited over 30 minutes online. One guy was doing all the food. The rest weren't doing much of anything. There was another person clearly working hard on takeouts. The rest were just there to hang out, it seemed. They got a Starbucks delivery while we waited. Chatted with their friends online. Could not be bothered to actually help anyone. They were rude and inconsiderate. I felt bad for the guy who had to serve everyone by himself. Very disappointed. Will not likely return to this location. It's always dirty & the fountain machine is always "broken" too.
If i could give 0 starts i would! I will NEVER EVER go to this location EVER again!!!! As a matter of fact I would like to contact corporate as I am sure many others would! The purpose of ordering online is to have a set time to pick up your order. My pick up time was 6:10pm. My order was ready at 7:00pm . There were many others in the same boat as me and I am sure just as angry. My husband and grandson were in the car - my grandson is hysterical waiting for me ! Talk about poor management…. 1st they close the store so theres no additional guests to serve , so you think they would split up the staff or maybe focus on the to-go orders bc thats the point of pre- ordering. No instead they fill all the orders for the people online. Then when they are done they start working on the to-go orders and NOT in the orders they received them. Slammed the food in the bowls. Mind you my order was ONE bowl!!! Finally 7pm i got my food that I would have canceled if ai didn't prepay.
How ridiculous what just happened, I just went to get food at this place, I ordered first and everything was going well, then my friend came and they gave him very little, I asked him to please give him a little more because he only had rice and chicken, and he tells me that it would be extra, he wasn't going to pay that minimum, when it was time to pay these two girls looked at each other and laughed at the situation, how ridiculous. I like Chipotle but don't go here in Middletown
I had placed on online order around 3:30-4pm for pickup at around 5-5:15pm. I had gone to the store and there was a long line at the pickup counter. I went up there and waited while nobody acknowledged me. The 2 girls working the orders didn't acknowledge anyone in line and when someone asked about their order they had an attitude and spoke very quietly so no one could hear them. I finally asked them for my order and gave them my order name and one of them told me it wasn't ready yet. There were a lot of bags sitting behind the counter with people's names on them that no one was checking or calling names out. After waiting 15 minutes one of them starts checking bags because other customers were complaining and my order was sitting there ready on the counter the whole time as well as many others. My food was cold and the service was horrible, as for those 2 girls they need to be retrained or fired. This was absolutely ridiculous.
Very disappointed. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of my expectations in several key areas. As a regular customer, I was particularly disheartened to notice a decline in the quality of the food. Additionally, the cleanliness and overall condition of the food preparation area were concerning. The staff appeared to be under a great deal of stress, which manifested in a rushed atmosphere and less-than-friendly service.
Walked in at 9pm with my family for a “guaranteed” good meal like we usually have, but this location was a HORRIBLE choice! So bad that I’m writing the review as I head home. The food preparation area was disgusting! The employees were literally throwing food in the bowls/trays and making a complete mess. There was a plastic sauce cup lid in the barbacoa that they were also dripping the juice across the other meats and beans. The food was cold and the ratios of everything were so off it was very hard for my entire family to enjoy. The tables were dirty as well. No napkins available by the drink station. Forks were dirty also. It wasn’t busy-now I know why. I will never come to the location ever again. And I never write reviews, so this is very telling! What a horrible experience
If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to eat in a dirty bus station with food that isn’t what you ordered and staff who act like you’re interrupting their day by existing, this Chipotle is the place for you. Floors sticky, tables crusty, trash piled high — it’s basically a buffet for germs. My order was wrong, but judging by the attitude behind the counter, fixing it would’ve been a personal insult. If “rude and filthy” was the vibe they were going for, congratulations — nailed it.
If you have to eat from here I would walk in order, get your food and leave. I made the mistake of picking up a mobile order and ended up waiting for over ten minutes for anyone to acknowledge me. There was about 8 people standing behind me and no one seemed to care. This wouldn't have been a problem if they brought orders to the mobile order section which is apparently just there for decoration. I say "get your food and leave" because the same amount of care they have for mobile orders is shared with cleanliness. Literally every empty table was dirty, the floor has trash, the garbage cans were all full, and the bathrooms were no better. I would've given a little reprieve if they appeared to be understaffed, but I watched 3 staff punch in and just wait in front of the order pickup line and act like we weren't there. If you have a Chipotle fix, I would advise not to come to this location if you value your time and/or cleanliness.
I was a regular customer and it's just a scam at this point. How much food you get depends on the employee. They're always out of something, they're rude, the store's dirty with cobwebs everywhere. If you order pickup expect way less food than ordering in store. Their app always sends the driver to the wrong address. I don't know why I ordered for so long, it's a total disaster. Today I opened the bowl to find it literally half full. Not coming back.
