Great establishment for cat lovers - what a great cause! We had a wonderful time my 7 year old son wanted to adopt all of them! We would’ve adopted Cornea Cat but it so difficult to import animals to The Bahamas! Everyone who it looking to adopt their next family addition should visit Brooklyn Cat Cafe the kitties are beautiful so is the staff!
The Brooklyn Cat Cafe is absolutely great. Keep in mind that it’s not an actual cafe, instead just a cozy place to hang out with cats. You sign up on their website for 30 minute times for $10 each, sign a waiver, and you’re set. The cats are great and over all just a calming and relaxing place to get away from the rush of the city and center yourself
My favorite cat cafe in Brooklyn!! Staffs are super friendly and kitties are adorable. I visit every 2 weeks to support them! I also signed up for their email list to stay on top of the latest updates (very helpful)!
The Paw & Poses: Restorative Yoga class was perfect!! The instructor led a wonderful class with the perfect balance of relaxation and difficulty, while offering modifications that work for everyone. Plus the cats are incredibly playful and adorable! Can’t recommend this enough and will definitely be back.
Love this place! I’ve been here a few times with my daughter (she’s now 7, but first visit was when she was 4), and it’s very kid-friendly. I was happy to see that they expanded! We tried out the “kitten party” in addition to the 30 mins with the regular cats. Everything is exactly as described on the website. The kitten party is really cute! It was just the 2 of us, and we sat and played with kittens for 30 mins before heading back down to play with the big cats. I have to admit that I felt like $100 was a bit much to spend for an hour total, but at least it goes to a good cause. We can’t have cats (we have birds!), but my daughter is a huge cat fan, so it’s great to be able to visit and interact with kitties. I would love for my daughter to volunteer here, but sadly you have to be over 18 (makes sense, but my daughter is unusually responsible. She actually reminded me about collar colors as I was petting a red-collared cat who ended up swiping me with his paw 😄). Please note that this is NOT an actual cafe! Again, everything is explained clearly on the website. The staff are WONDERFUL and kind. I’ve asked about various cats and they are all well-informed. They explain everything at the door as well, and now require you to wear shoe covers, which is for the protection of the cats. I highly recommend making reservations ahead of time, since they (thankfully) only let a certain number of people in at a time. Overall, lovely place with lovely people.
Awesome. The manager (I assume she was the manager) talked down to us a bit, as if we couldn't understand basic rules. But, once we got inside, it was alright. The cats were nice. I really like their mission. There seemed to be plenty of toys for the cats to play with and plenty of places for them to climb on and rest at.
This is not actually a cafe but there are definitely cats! You pay for 30 minute time slots where you can just wander around inside with the cats. They were of course being cats so most of them were hiding or sleeping out of reach but there were still a bunch in petting range. You can buy a bag of treats for $5 which helped lure the more shy fellows closer. If you go expecting a room just full of cats being cats and not necessarily wanting much to do with you, you will not be disappointed. Exactly what I needed today! Seems like they are doing good adoption work too :)
The BCC is one of the nicest and best organized cat cafés I've been to. The space is enormous and beautifully decorated in upcoming, family-oriented, Brooklyn Heights. They are a non-profit and dedicated to placing the animals in good homes. Unlike many cafes, they have a philosophy that believes young children should learn how to behave around animals and handle cats, so they are very kid friendly. Make sure your child understands not all cats want to play, be picked up, or definitely not squeezed! Because of health ordinances they do not actually serve food or drinks. Everyone is super friendly, informative, and most of all the animals are well cared for. They also have the largest bunny I've ever seen!
Amazing experience with all the different cats that's there along with other animals like turrets and rabbits, price is fair with $15 for 30 minutes but definitely wish it was a bit longer for $15, the workers there are also super nice and helpful with guides and rules, overall definitely worth a visit if you have the time with how fun and relaxing it is.
A cat café and animal rescue center that does absolutely incredible and necessary work. One of my good friends introduced me to this place; she spoke highly of her experiences fostering cats at The Brooklyn Cat Café/Brooklyn Bridge Animal Welfare Coalition. My husband and I wanted to try fostering, too, as we love cats and wanted to learn more about them, since we didn't have cats growing up. From December 2024 to January 2025, we fostered one 11-month old kitten until she was adopted! It was such a rewarding experience. And, in February 2025, we moved forward with officially adopting our own furry family member, Terry. Terry is so sweet and playful; we are in love with him. Thank you, BCC, for changing our life.
We took the kids to the cafe and it was an amazing experience. Everyone was so friendly and had a blast. Great surrounding area as well. You can walk around town, very clean and friendly. Will absolutely be back!
This place is wonderful to spend some time with cats, especially when you miss your own! (My cat lives with my mom in PA and I'm in the city now for work). The volunteers really care so much about these cats. What a wonderful way to support an animal welfare organization that wants the best life for all of these fur babies.
Super friendly staff!! It was a bit of a wait to get in but worth it! This place does good for these cats. And I love how they had people coming to do adopt. Great place doing great things. Anyone looking for a kitten/cat to adopt, the staff will help and answer you questions. I came from Florida for they day and can't wait to come back again. I also took a few pics I'd love to share:]
I loved it here! I came with my partner to get him to touch a random cat (he doesn’t usually like touching pets) and the staff were so nice! They were all quiet and sweet, informative, but very funny. One of the cats bit me (which isn’t anyone’s fault, the nice staff said she’s known for being a cranky territorial lady) and I was sad because I thought she was cute and she was one of my dream cat breeds. She did let me pet her for a while before deciding she wanted to bite, though. My favorite pet in the store was Tom Holland, Trixie (I think that’s her name, she was a really small black cat that liked to hide under the chair and play with the stick toy) and the very nice orange cat that tried to walk out the door with us and sat in a chair at the front 80% of the time. Every single cat had a different silly name. I will be coming back once I get more allergy meds!!
BBAWC is a wonderful organization doing good things in Brooklyn. I was a fan of theirs years before the Cafe opened. The Café is a great addition to the neighborhood. The Cafe is divided into different areas. There are rooms for kittens, FIV and FeLV cats. The regular adult cats are in the café area. I did a half hour with the kittens and what's not to love? Little bundles of energy everywhere. 😍 I also did a half hour at the café and mingled with the resident cats, played with a couple of them and offered treats. It's a wonderful spot to spend an hour and do some good while you're there. I think families with older kids would find it fun. The volunteers are friendly and helpful. Will be back again.
All Volunteers are incredible, they identify the cats by collar so you know if they can be feed during your visit or not. The space is very well kept and when you get to the cafe they explain everything you can or you cannot do. I’d really love them to have a espresso machine I really wanted to have an iced coffee while my daughter enjoyed the felines. You’re charge right before after leaving and you can get a treat bag for five dollars.
I have a roommate and cannot have my own cat right now, so this was a lovely and needed replacement. The collar system is helpful to understand the friendly cats and the cats to be cautious around, I met one red collar cat who swiped at me 😅even after approaching calmly. so just be sure to check if things like that startle you. Will definitely be returning and donating. Thank you to the volunteers! this is such a lovely concept.
Lovely place to wind down and pet the kitties. From the name I expected a different environment, it's more of an interactive shelter where you can adopt cats if you're really interested. Plenty of toys, beds, and hiding places for cats, don't be surprised if you looked up and saw a cat watching you or sleeping. Admission is cheap, they charge per half hour the minimum, friendly staff.
The cat café itself is a wonderful concept and well-executed. I am an independent trapper and rescuer of community cats. Co-located with the Cat Cafe is the Brooklyn Bridge Animal Welfare Coalition (BBAWC). I always feel confident about the veterinary care the cats I take there will receive. Thank you to the donors and staff at BBAWC/Cat Cafe.
We had a great time here! Tickets are timed, and they give you a sticker with your check-out time. If you go over your 30 minutes, you have to pay for the extra time when you check out. Definitely get the optional treats (which sponsor a cat's vaccinations), as it will get you more attention from the kitties. The cats have colored collars to specify which ones do not invite attention, but most are friendly and loving. They also have turtles, rats, Guinea pigs, and a rabbit. Toys are provided to play with the cats and kittens if desired. It's not a large place and felt crowded at times, but overall we had a great time and my daughter is already asking to go back.
A fun date spot, I always recommend this place for friends in the Dumbo area! There are a lot of cats that have many things to hide in and play with. The cats’ collars are colour-coded so you know which ones don’t like being pet / which ones are cuddly. All of the cats are adoptable which makes it a great way to meet your future cat 🥹 I look forward to visiting again
Great organization from the staff. Socialization rules were clearly communicated before beginning our appointment which made it so that cats and customers were most comfortable. The staff was super attentive and knowledgeable about the adopt and foster programs. Great little organization! Love that it’s local.
Lots of friendly and amazing cats! There were more cats than expected and 30 minutes goes by very quickly. I spotted some younger children stressing out the cats, ie. a cat tried to bite the kid because they kept on trying to pet the cat when it didn't want to be pet. Could keep the staff members a bit more spread out to make sure that guests are treating the cats well!
Such a fantastic environment. There's no litter box smell at all, and they have a great system for communicating how you can interact with the cats through the colors of collars. A few of them are in separate special enclosures, but you can pet those too, you just need to ask one of the volunteers because some of those cats are a little wobbly and can't really be out with the others. Truly a great place to hang out with some very friendly felines!
The Brooklyn cat Café is one of the most amazing cat adoption facilities I have ever been Associated with - The two kittens I adopted were so well socialized and acclimated beautifully to being rehomed with me. The staff has been incredible. One of the kittens had a cough and the Brooklyn cat Café Were in touch with their vets and gave me the medicine to help my kitten get healthy. They remain in touch with me, even for some simple like asking questions about plants and other things. I have nothing but the most amazing praise for Naomi and her staff. They have brought tremendous joy to me and my family.
Excellent organization ! The volunteers inform you about the cats in the beginning. They are very clear about their policies. Each 30min is $12. They are kind enough to let customers stay over their alotted times and you can pay before leaving for the additional time (they tell you at the entrance). Helping cats get adopted in a unique way <333. Love and respect. I would camp outside if i could lol will be visiting againn!!
When I went they no longer served any food/beverages. However they let you bring closed container drinks. They sold shirts/magnets/hoodies and pins. If you make a donation of $5 you get a cup of treats to feed the cats. To my surprise there were turtles and rabbits. Very relax place, not too many rules. For weekends do book ahead they do sell out..$10 for 30 minutes. Buy your tickets online and sign your waiver. No need to be there 15 minutes early. The check in is easy, you open the door, tell your name. they give you a sticker and tell you some rules and who to check out with. the place is decent, about 3 "areas". The front is a large window with many cat beds. Near it there was a mom and her kittens in an enclosure. the back area had a lot of the fishing toys. At 3pm most cats were napping so try to go earlier! I have been to 7 cat cafes across the US, this is one of the larger ones ( space wise).
First time going to a cat cafe and I couldn't have been more happy! Staff were great and very knowledgeable. My boyfriend and I went right at opening with our reservation. I didn't know we could pick them up, so I cheated myself on that 😭.You can just tell they care so much about the cats, turtles in the back along with the rats, which were so cute. I love what they offer and they have reasonable pricing for entry, treats and adoption fee if you choose to adopt. Will definitely go back soon. Thank you again to the staff!
We had a great time here. Warm, cozy environment and friendly, adorable kitties. We bought treats and hung out there giving them out. I can't recommend this place enough. We will be back soon.
I thought it was gonna be like idk 6 cats. Man there were cats on every seat, every counter, every corner, every window. TOOOOOOO adorable. I had a great experience, make sure you buy treats with your reservation so you can really have a party! Haha. If yall see my boy Buick tell him I said wassup🐈⬛️ hehe.
It's my first time to visit cat cafe. There are few questions confuse me before the visit. First, are there cats? yes, a lot of cats. Second, is there coffee? no... Third, can you play with cats? absolutely. actually, you can feed them also. don't forget to bring quarter. you can buy some snack for cats, but limited as one quarter per person. Well, this is the place you must visit. workers are very friendly. cats are calm, most of them. just enjoy to pet them. you can adopt one if you like. there are applications online.
I actually did go there for the kitties but was surprised to find they also had rabbits, guinea pigs, a pair of turtles and most surprisingly rats! As a rat owner myself and a fan of those other animals too, it was great to see. Most people were crowding around the cute cats (and rightfully so!), so I had more time to interact with the rats. Hamilton, the brown rat is especially friendly and you can hold him, have him sit on your shoulder or snuggle in the bonding scarf. I literally witnessed a child go from saying ew to wanting a pet rat within two mins of holding him. It's also interesting how they are using rats to socialize kittens that are FIV positive. So for rat fans pining for a rat cafe, this is the place to go for as long as they have rats. For cat fans, this is absolutely a great place to go.
The staff were helpful and clear on the meaning behind the color of the cats collar. At the end of the day, they are cats and if you do not respect their body language then that’s a you problem. We fell in love with this cutie named Spuds! I miss him. We are definitely returning. 🤍🥔
We had my son's 6th birthday party in the Annex here, and it was amazing! The Annex space is beautiful. The cats were adorable. The staff (Amber, Rose, and Sonja) were extraordinary: they helped with the crafts we'd brought, came up with and facilitated fun activities to keep the kids engaged, helped distract and redirect a crying child, cut the cake, were endlessly patient with 20 hyper kids.... in every way exceeded our expectations and made the experience easy and wonderful. Would highly, highly recommend for a kids' event!
I found my happy place. I was having a bad day and needed a boost of serotonin. My brain thought.. cats. Stopped by and was supposed to stay for 30 minutes but it turned into an hour which honestly flew by. Walked out feeling like I had the best day ever. I was surrounded by so many cat lovers. The people who work there are so welcoming. The cats are lovely- I recommend getting treats. I love what this place is doing. Let’s bring humanity back. I hope each cat finds a home.. I really wanted to take one with me- maybe next time :)
I took my daughter to this place, because she’s obsessed with cat. When we arrived, I didn’t know that we have to have a reservation, better have one! Cause it’s always full in the weekend. But, the staff were very nice and helpful they really made us felt welcome. It’s so relaxing, and my daughter just loving it, so excited!! She’s the one took all the pictures, made sure no cat left behind. She wanted to adopt all these cuties. Get some treats, they’ll love it and following you. We already have cat at home. But, yes.. we definitely will come again.
I had previously visited at their first floor and recently checked out the second floor expansion for their reading to the cats event with the more shy cats and both were amazing experiences. This is by far the biggest cat cafe in NYC with more playful cats. First floor seems always busy with human and cats while second floor tend to be on the quieter side with limited capacity. If you are looking for a more like chilling at a friend’s apartment with cats vibe I highly recommend the 2nd floor.
Loved this place so much. Super cute and everyone is so nice. The place is pretty spacious. They have turtles rats guinea pigs rabbits and a chinchilla. I don’t think they are for adoption but you def can look at them. The cat are all funny in their own way. The red collar cats are the spicy ones. Hahaha. You get 30 min for 12$. Not bad at all. That is all I basically needed for my mental health. I already have a cat and work as a vet tech. This was a different experience because the cats are healthy and calm.
I love coming here!! The staff is very nice and a visit is reasonably priced. You can purchase treats to give to the cats and there are toys to play with them as well. There is also a room with bunnies and rats. I take my friends here whenever I can and I hope to be able to adopt one of the cats here one day!!
If you're planning to come on a holiday/weekends definitely recommend to book a reservation first and show up at least 5 minutes early (if you haven't sign the waiver). Staffs were very friendly and got us checked in fast, the cats were adorable with collars to let you know if they need some space before approaching or if they're "no treats" cat. Also affordable prices to visit adorable cats!
The moment we came in were friendly, happy, beautiful cats all greeting us. It was like we died and went to heaven. If we could have stayed the whole day it would have flown by. This company has an amazing and important vision, helping cats in need, and every penny u spend here is towards their mission!!! The cats will thank you! The staff is warm and love talking about each and every critter there. We will be back soon! Paul and EV
The cats are so cute!! They are so friendly and so cuddly and just fun to play with. They have so many cats to adopt. I definitely suggest at least an hour here! The place really takes good care of the cats. This is run by a non-profit with tons of volunteers who believes in the mission of the place! Definitely worth checking out when in the area!
It’s a place where you can reserve a time to visit and play with rescued cats, and apply to adopt if you want. There’s no food, despite being called a café: it’s really all about the cats. Very cute cats, lots of fun. I think it’s worth paying a bit extra for treats. And the staff seems to care a lot: they’re around to respectfully intervene if some cat (or human guest) isn’t behaving. They were also nice enough to offer us the full length of time we paid for even though we were 20 minutes late for our reservation.
The cutest and most adorable cats/kittens ever! My husband and I are cat cafe veterans and this has the most cats of any cat cafe we’ve ever been to (except maybe Japan). We like that this place let us feed the cats which was unique (the one in LES doesn’t). The cats were so friendly and I sincerely wish we could have taken some home with us but we’re still training our 10 month old puppy. Parking was also great - so it was easy to get to for us. We’ll definitely visit again when we’re in town!
I came here on Valentine's Day and I completely goofed up my reservation time. They were so busy and I was devastated. Luckily, the staff were able to remedy my mistake and we were able to go in anyway with no fuss at all. They very easily could have said "sorry dummy, we're busy as hell try again another day!" so that was really cool. It was really clean, with lots of cozy spots from the cats. I could tell by their body language that all the cats were really relaxed and felt super safe. They were all snoozing with their tummies out and happily munching on treats and slow blinking at passers-by. That's a big deal! We met this perfect man named Marcel. I wish so bad we could have snapped him up, I'm jealous of whoever does. He was a real gem!
This was my second time here and I love this place even more every time I visit!! If you love cats, Brooklyn Cat Cafe is honestly a dream. The cats are adorable, playful, and clearly so well cared for, each one has their own little personality and it’s impossible not to fall in love. The space is cozy and calming, and the staff are so kind and genuinely caring toward the cats. I took a ton of photos, most of them on my digital camera, because every moment was too cute not to capture. I left so happy (again) and I already know I’ll be back. Highly recommend to every cat lover 🐱💗📷
This is the kind of place that's just good for the soul. They are very well organized and have so many great felines with whom to interact. Entrance fees and add ons (treats - an excellent way to get attention immediately; do this!) help fund their mission to provide homes for homeless cats. Most (all?) are also coincidentally available for adoption.
Price for a visit is very affordable. I recommend adding a donation or buying some extra things! Knowledgeable and kind staff. Love the treats and toys they offer. And the cats are incredibly well cared for! They even put different collars on the cats that need some extra space.
Had a really nice visit to the cat cafe with my 8 year old. mix of cats of all ages, temperaments, and energy levels. i was able to cuddle with many different cats and my son found a few to play with. the staff is friendly and helpful. it's clean and comfortable. it wasnt too crowded. worth the donation and i got my much needed cat therapy.
I always love visiting the cat cafe, but today I visited the newly opened kitten room and WOW! YES! For $50 I got a full hour with a whole clowder of kittens who were full of energy and ready to play. Man, what a gift. Feeling down? Want to celebrate? Been a while since you’ve seen a kitten? Book the kitten room, you won’t regret it. The folks who work at the cat cafe are so sweet and kind. They really love the cats and you can hear it in their enthusiasm when they talk about each cat as an individual. I’d love to volunteer with them someday soon.
One of the best days EVER! Im already a cat lover and this is the place to go to be submerged in cuteness 😽. Some of the kitties are timid but thats okay, they have a red collar to exhibit that. Majority of them are very very friendly and fun to play with and it warmed my heart to know that the kitties get adopted very often. Before leaving I donated willingly because I believe in the cause of fighting cat homelessness in NYC! I love the work the work they’re doing here and I firmly believe in this Non profit organization. Definitely will be returning with friends and family very soon! And definitely interested in volunteering 🤗
Had the best time with the kitties. They are everywhere and they love treats. Getting there was super easy as well as the process to check in. Half an hour is enough time to go around give them some pets and maybe find one to play with for a bit if you are not planning on taking any home (tho I can assure you it’s super hard not to). They also have 🐰 Wonderful experience!
Oh my goodness, I had so much fun here. Our household lost our beloved cat to cancer a few weeks ago and I was the only one ready to go… and I was nervous at first. But it was good for me in the end to see cats of various ages doing their meowy things, petting a few of them and giving them treats. I’ll definitely become a regular.
OMG...I am a Cat lady who currently does not have cats. I am also a person who suffers from depression and anxiety, I made a choice today to try and get some natural serotonin and the Cafe did not disappoint. I booked my reservation online (3 dollars less then walk in price). When you enter you're checked in, explained the rules and then given a little card with your end time and the few rules you were told. There's a screen door with a worker who allows you in and ensures no kitties escape. There was a lovely mix of Cats, some sleeping, some playing and some just walking around. There was a decent amount of people in the Cafe but it did not feel crowded. There's some light tunes playing and plenty of places to sit and interact with Cats. There were some really beautiful cats i got to meet. I will definitely be back.
Very cute spot and a lovely place to spend some time with their cats and kittens. Cats are up for adoption and there is an approval process. I would recommend reserving your tickets ahead of time if you can because it seems they’re strict on the entry and exit times. You have 30 minute sessions. I wouldn’t call it a cafe since they don’t really make drinks but you can buy bottled water or coffee. Love the atmosphere and their cats are so sweet and playful.
There were so many cats here, and they were all very well taken care of. They had lots of space. It was very calm, quiet, and the setting was very cozy. You're supposed to make an appointment ahead of time, but you can also try heading in and make an appointment on the spot. It is $10/per person for 30 mins and we were able to enjoy an array of snacks and bottled drinks. It's not so much a cafe as the name of the store says, but more like an open cage cat rescue with a comfy and homey setting Overall, my experience left me feeling motivated and refreshed. The cats I interacted with were so attentive and enjoyed playing with the toys I offered! **Do pay attention to the color of the collars as they will indicate how you should approach them
We visited yesterday to check out the cats, my husband and my daughter are cat lovers We made reservations online, we came a little early and it was raining and i asked someone from the door what time we can enter for a 12pm reservation. Someone came out and spoke to us, Idk who she is but she said that they were accepting walk ins and to make a line, so i said we actually have reservation, then she replied to keep that 12pm reservation. In my head if someone had reservation, should that someone be the priority vs the walk in? Anyway… my family and i just moved along and waited until its our time. Didnt want to ruin our family weekend. So we purchased drinks and treats ahead, they have cold and hot drinks to choose from, I recommend just buying the treats for the cats My daughter enjoyed being there, 30 mins wasnt enough time for her, the space was just right they have several couches and benches for you to sit and they also have bar stools. If you are a cat lover, you will definitely enjoy to be here
So the first time I attempted to go to the Brooklyn Cat Cafe, it was a full house and I was advised to make a reservation since the wait would be for an hour. It wasn't that difficult to make a reservation but they do require you to pay on the spot, which is totally fine! As you step in, you'll see an array of snacks you can take in and bottled drinks. It's not so much as a cafe as the name of store says, but more like an open cage cat rescue with a comfy and homey setting. The space was large and there were tons of cats everywhere- ranging from young newborns (who are displayed away from visitors and with a parent) to elderly cats. The staff warned us about some cats with a red collar, indicating they do not appreciate being touched anywhere below the neck but my friends encountered many that were so sweet and friendly! One of them actually fell asleep in my friends lap! There was so many active cats (mostly the young ones) and also so many who we're so sweet, friendly and calm. You could choose between playing with them or sitting down while petting them. I do have to say that EVERYONE should take consideration and pay closely attention to every little behavior from all the cats. Many of them can be over stimulated, causing them to snap at you or another cat. This is very cmon behavior within cats so don't be alarmed! Just leave the cat alone if they snap at you, or if they snap at another fellow feline, direct their attention elsewhere. Overall, my experience left me feeling motivated and refreshed. The cats I interacted with were so attentive and enjoyed paying with the toys I offered! So much so that there were 5 cats that I was playing with all at once! The only concern I do have to state is that there isn't very much ventilation, so you can smell the stench of clumping cat litter that it becomes suffocating.
Stopped in before going to the airport and had a good time visiting the kitties! The space is super cool. Had to take off one star for two reasons— firstly, we arrived 30 minutes after the 5 o’clock time slot and still had to pay for a full hour. We are from St. Louis and have a handful of cat cafes here, they all offer 1/2 hour tickets. Secondly, we were rushed out 10 minutes before the hour was up so the staff could clean for the next round of people so we didn’t even get the full time we paid for. Aside from that, the person at the front desk was very sweet, the merch and things they sell are soooo cute, they support local artists, and the play space is cool. We did not try anything from the cafe.
I give three star for the cats because they are cute but totally didn't like the experience at all. There were way too many people at once which makes cats overstimulated, the vibe is weird too they don't seem emotionally free.It feels like the cats are doing a job and not at home, I feel sad for the cats there but I hope they get adopted and get out of there.
Very cute, the cats are super lovely however, more should have a red collar as they bite unexpectedly upon a slight touch. I have had animals all my life so I don't rush to pet them and give them their space as needed but some are very unexpected. The place is very nice and staff is super friendly, nice and accommodating. I recommend just be watchful. Please make sure the staff is more careful with which cats are more friendly or not. Saying cats are cats is not an excuse and it's unprofessional.
Watch out for the orange cat (I think his name is booger?) I didn’t notice he has a red collar cuz his fur covered it. Got bitten by his mood swings, and it really hurts… like blood running out instantly. The staff says he tricked many ppl into thinking he is friendly and all that, then he bites them suddenly (now thinking back…doesn’t it mean he is lowkey not suitable to still be at this cafe? Like apparently he has a biting history) Anyway…getting a Tdap booster tmr…
save ur money.. 10/20/25 3:30PM young check in girl was kinda rude like girl why are u acting like we are bothering you at YOUR JOB 😭 so yeah dont walk in, reserve online… (please emphasize the importance of customer service and being friendly instead) everyone else was nice though and the volunteers, older ladies are super sweet and kind but some guests were disrespectful to the cats, i recommend going to a local animal shelter and seeing if you can play with the cats there instead
Pros: cute looking cats, nice ambiance and environment Cons: came during 5pm (which is during the adults ONLY period yet there were two children inside the cafe…) cats were mostly napping and interaction with them was very hard (unless u purchased the treats bag) imo $12 for 30min with minimal interaction is expensive and I would not probably come back because they did not follow the adults only hour :D I see the business replying to other people’s reviews, yet I have not received any replies nor explanations. :D
White person with red shaggy hair who checked us in was quite unprofessional. They claimed we did not fill out the waivers and after we told them our names, they quite rudely insisted on singling out a trans person in our group for their “real” name (their dead name essentially). They went on to mock and mispronounce everyone’s names. It honestly ruined the experience for all of us. Public-facing volunteers should receive some sort of race/gender sensitivity training.
