The vibes in this place are spot on. Intimate, cozy, warm, tight but private. Feels like you and a few close friends decided to throw a ramen-party in an upscale little nook in the countryside... Yet you're just in a stripmall. Impressive ambiance, impressive food. From the excellent service to the perfected, spartan menu, you can't go wrong with anything here. The ramen/soups are splendid, the appetizers are just the right portions and delicious, and the drinks have that special, in house flair to them. The server was lovely, respectful, and prompt, and she even showed me various dishes as they floated by. That small gesture, paired with her kindness and explanation, accompanied by phenomenal culinary execution will keep me coming back. Added notes: good music, great utensils and serving plates, and a view of the chef as he makes noodles? Yessss please. Thank you for this gem!

What a pleasant surprise discovering this new spot near work! The broth was the highlight—clean, flavorful, and with a long-lasting finish. You can tell they take their time to make it right, using good ingredients and a careful cooking process. When the broth is this good, you know the rest of the bowl is made with just as much care. Their attention to detail really stands out. The house-made noodles have a great texture—firm but not too chewy, soaking up the broth perfectly. Even the plates and bowls they use feel thoughtfully chosen, very well put together. The menu is simple but filled with traditional yet refined dishes. Even though they just opened, I already noticed customers coming back, which says a lot. I’ll definitely be returning to try more from their menu.

Very interesting family own small Asian fusion restaurant, kind of fine dinning taste. Just opened approximately 4 months. We ordered half Honey half BBQ wings and Karaage, Signature Duck Ramen and Curry Beef Rib finger were all very tasty. Highly recommended 👍

I was super lucky to stumble upon this newly opened restaurant, the owner told me they are still on the soft opening stage so a lot of menu items may rotate. Everything was super delicious and unique in a way. You can tell the chef spent a lot of time and effort into developing his crafts. The staff were super friendly and accommodating as well. The whole decor is unique in a way it feels like someone’s home instead of a business, very welcoming. Highly recommended!

From a humble family trying to bring an authentic family flavor we have a chef in town without fear of combine flavors and bring new dishes to your table. What a such a small place with a unique flavor, well deserved 5 start review from the smallest details in the decoration all the way to the effort of the chef.

This ramen restaurant has a nostalgic yet cozy ambiance, making you feel immersed in an authentic Japanese atmosphere the moment you step in. The ramen here is not just a bowl of noodles—it’s a reflection of the chef’s passion and dedication. The broth is carefully simmered for three days, ensuring that every bowl served is in its most perfect state, never just hastily put together. You can truly taste the effort in every bite, and even after finishing the meal, there’s no dryness or discomfort in your mouth. What I admire most is how they have turned their passion into a career and pursued it with excellence. This is a bowl of ramen truly worth trying!

Food: The duck ramen had a rich soup with a strong duck flavor that I loved. The duck was cooked to perfection as it was flavorful yet tender. The wagyu ramen had a rich beef flavor and wasn't too oily despite the fattiness of the tender wagyu. The noodles were perfectly cooked with a slight bit of chew but weren't your typical ramen noodles, I think they were made with a slightly different type of flour. Still enjoyed them though!! The fried chicken wings took the best parts of japanese and taiwanese style fried chicken and combined them. It was definitely the best thing aside from the duck ramen. The beef salad was interesting but wouldn't get it again. Wasabi edamame was very wasabi heavy. Dessert was fire. + they had a great taiwanese tea selection. While there aren't that many dishes to choose from, it's because they've nearly perfected all the dishes they do have. Service: Family run store so you got the lil kid running around helping too, it was adorable!! They gave us a free dessert too which I really enjoyed. Atmosphere: The interior is designed almost like a living room with each of the tables and chairs being slightly different. Has a super home-y feel. You can also see into the kitchen and watch how they make the noodles. There's also a small tea bar at the front. They play records from their record collection too!!

Sherry, the owner of this establishment is so sweet and kind. You can see that her family invested their heart in creating a restaurant that feeds the soul. From the vinyls playing old timey American music, to the Monet art books, art on the walls, and a fire place in a corner table—this restaurant infused a lot of charm and a welcome home character. I ordered the Duck and Wagyu ramen. 100% spectacular. The broth for both was so flavorful, noodles perfect, and the slices of duck and wagyu—chef kiss! It’s rare to find a spot that cooks duck perfectly. If you’re in Woodbridge, this family establishment just made our community a little bit more wholesome. Show them some love! The restaurant is small and intimate…but they try to seat you as quickly as possible. A small intimate space to have a meal and share a conversation with a good friend or two is so special. Reviews complaining about seating should not take this restaurant for granted. Plan accordingly or call head for wait list timing.

Loved this month’s Chef’s Solo Special! The fluffy chicken breast rice was tender and flavorful, and the shrimp noodles were packed with umami. Finished with a dreamy ube and mini taro ball dessert—can’t wait for next month! 🍽️💜🦐

We enjoyed their duck ramen and Hong Kong milk tea, which is house-brewed. The broth was so flavorful I wanted to hold the bowl up to my face to get every last drop. We'll definitely be back to try all the other items on the menu, but the duck ramen and HK tea might be my new favorite combo. Side note, I could sit in this coffee-house, art-deco restaurant for hours.

Wow.. what an incredible night. This place is spectacular. From the moment you walk in, you feel like you are in someone’s house, so cozy and warm. The food and atmosphere are TOP TIER!!! I really loved how delicious and fresh all the food options are. Everything that is fried is so light, not greasy, yet still perfectly crispy. Absolute perfection! The atmosphere was so wonderful too, it felt like I was eating at my friend’s house. So comfortable and relaxing. There was even live music outside! I don’t think that was a normal part of the experience, but it sounds like every now and then there is live music. Would highly recommend Yakamoz to anyone! Thank you guys for the amazing experience!

This review is long overdue. I had the pleasure of knowing the owner even before he opened this ramen spot, and from the very beginning, his passion and enthusiasm for creating something truly special were unmistakable. As a small business owner myself, I’m genuinely inspired by how far he’s come and incredibly proud of what he’s built. When you visit, take a moment to notice the little details — not just in the food, but in the space itself. Every element feels intentional. It’s those thoughtful, personal touches that truly make this place stand out.

If you're looking for a delicious hole in the wall this is it. I love coming here as the noodles are made in house and so yummy, every few months they have new dishes which are equally delicious and service is always quick and easy. Would definitely recommend anyone looking for a cozy date night

We really enjoye this place. It's a very small place with great ambiance. I could tell they put a lot of thought into the decor. Service was top notch. I would describe the food as Asian Fusion and not traditional Japanese. We had the Duck Ramen and Beef Noodle. Both were excellent and had very different flavor profiles. The quality of ingredients was very good. They make their noodles in house. The only slight negative was that we had to wait awhile to get our food because they were so busy. However, because of the wait they gave us a free lemon iced tea, which was very nice.

Good food and quality food. Their water is very tap. For the price of their food. I hope they invest in filtered water.

Gotta say the taste of furniture and interior are really good def have some vibe and rare to see these kind of restaurants here Bumper is that they open the door that day because one group sitting outside and it become so hot inside and flies flying around kind of annoy The server is very friendly and chat with you but the same time hard to find them sometimes The duck ramen isnt as what i expected , not japanese style more chinese style Food overall ok good but not as special as i thought

Overall Experience: A charming, antique-style ramen spot with a rotating menu, flavorful broth, and attentive but minimal service, though portion sizes may feel small for the price. Location/Parking: It's located in a tucked away strip mall. There's a parking lot but it was pretty full on a Saturday around lunch time. Reservation: Not sure if they take reservations, but it was pretty easy to walk in and get a table. Ambiance: The vibe is very much like an antique coffee shop. Furniture is mixed and matched with a lot of wood elements. You can also sit outside if it's full. A lot of Chinese speaking families were dining there. It appeared that the owner/waitress is Taiwanese. Customer Service: I had requested for bamboo shoots to be removed from my dishes when I made the order, but it still showed up with it. Luckily, I don't have an allergy and it's merely preference, but this is certainly something for them to note in the future. The male waiter was very attentive at refilling our water cups when running low, but other than that they don't really check in on you/your food until you actively try to get their attention. Food: According to their waitress, they switch their menu pretty open. It's been changed 3 times in the 2 months they've been open. They continuously improve and innovate their menu. Signature Duck Ramen - very mild yet flavorful soup taste and I dranked it all. 5 thinly sliced pieces of duck breast, and expected there to be more. Value: For a $19.50 bowl of ramen, it definitely ran on the small side, but it had a great taste. I could see myself returning in the future to try some other items on their menu.

Very cozy (and by cozy I mean small) little ramen shop with a Cantonese twist. My duck ramen was great: the duck was tender, the noodles were perfect, and that one wonton was packed with flavor. My husband had the prawn laksa, which was delicious as well. There was a bit of a numbing effect (maybe Szechuan peppers? We're not chefs), but the bowl has a hint of citrus too. My husband's HK lemon tea was also refreshing as I stole a sip from time-to-time. We also got the kaarage and that was a good, standard appetizer. Because the place was "cozy," I felt bad because they were slammed and only one woman was rushing around trying to seat/serve everyone. I think some of the other staff could helped more but I don't know. Eh, I'll still come back anyway.

Atmosphere/service = 10/10 Fried chicken curry rice = 10/10 Duck Ramen = 5/10 Broth was bland, noodles were too soft/wet and not bouncy, duck pieces were not particularly flavorful.
