Opiniones de Starbucks Union Square
Very busy in the morning; best to mobile order. Baristas are lightning-fast, though.
Like any other Starbucks. I'm not sure about the neighborhood but you need permission to use restrooms 😃 (true for any other shop you go)
We were staying in the hotel across the street. Ordered from here multiple times, and had great service. Would definitely recommend this place for your morning coffee
Great service and Like the view of Stockton street. Had a good conversation with a great girl on Sunday July 1st 2018. hopefully she sees this and write a review!
Pretty busy location, waited for about 10 minutes, we were helped by a nice young gentleman who was very nice, fast and really patient since we had two little kiddos. 😊
Starbucks are always great. This one was life saver probably because it was open early in the morning and there was no where to go. Had a great coffee and doughnuts
I love Starbucks, and I just wanted to say I am so so sorry. I would explain, but if you are an employee that was closing this Christmas Eve; you understand.
Fast as always. Really busy but there was still a place to sit and enjoy my coffee while I waited for an appointment.
Clean establishment and friendly staff. No place to sit. Great for grab and go.
Great staff, they make the extra effort to make an espresso matcha fusion for me!
Workers were extremely nice and fast. Especially Imani. I think that was her name. Or was it Armani? 😂
Staff was nice and the store was clean. They let us stay inside while we waited for the bus early in the morning. I already had my coffee, so donating a tip was in order from me.
Fast and open at 3:30am, what more could you want. There is one long table for seating, but the line does wrap around it so may be best for a stop in rather than studying
It was exciting there was about to be a deathmatch over a spilled drink or some thing. Then a Starbucks worker came and fraught the crazy crackhead guy off with a chair like he was a lion. Then a little asian man said welcome to San Francisco, but where I'm from someone would've been shot. I give a 5 for entertainment purpose. I don't really like there drinks and it's over priced
If you're in an extreme rush, use the app or go to another Starbucks. The crew here is excellent, i.e., efficient, responsible...and dealing with a lot...crowds can be huge...you're near the heart of Union Square, so it's possible to have everyone gathered here at the same time: all the local working folks, all the tourists/hotel guests, all the varieties of vagrants. FYI, there are seating areas.
I Went Inside To Order Delicious Coffee Before Work And The Woman That Helped Me Asian, Black Glasses Was Very Professional, Very Helpful, And Very Efficient, And Very Knowledgeable, About The Coffee. I Will Definitely, Return. Restored Faith, In Customer Service
The staff were beyond friendly. Very polite and a lot more enthusiastic than staff in most places in the UK. We came here multiple times for breakfast throughout a week in San Francisco and they never let us down. The service was always quick and there weren't any problems with our orders.
A decent experience at a typical Starbucks location
When I got a coffee here, the registers were broken and only cash and the Starbucks app were being accepted. However, the staff here took it in stride by putting up signs on the door alerting people to the issue and keeping calm and efficient! The staff was friendly, and the service was fast and exceptional! Definitely one of the most well-staffed Starbucks locations I’ve been to!
This is my go to neighborhood starbucks on my days off. The staff is always warm and welcoming, and have never messed up my drink. My name has been pronounced wrong, but that's something that happens at every Starbucks. It's not your fault that my parents gave me a weird name! Lol Keep up the good work! See you next Monday and Tuesday!
Atypical review for Starbucks, fast, friendly, high-quality, great atmosphere. I've yet to have a bad experience at a Starbucks so why not try this location as well! As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for and they deliver. In my opinion, if you're looking to save a few bucks but need a little caffeine, just get the drip coffee, it's delicious and totally worth it.
What can one say other than any Starbucks I visit I can expect friendly service and my coffee will be exactly as I enjoy it. It's the main reason that I stop in, the same cup as the other Starbucks, I love the consistency. While I am about supporting local business and the community, I don't think Starbucks is all evil. From what understand the employees are treated fairly wage and benefit wise and the coffee is good.
I always enjoy stopping by this Starbucks. The team there is always kind and my drink is always correct. Would like to highlight Sofia who is normally working the cashier. She is incredibly kind and always remembers my name when I visit which is always a special touch. Also I would like to highlight Leigh Anne who always knocks it out the park when they make my beverage. Thank you all!
I am from the UK & a Costa guy through out. This Starbucks right opposite to the Grand Hyatt, Union Square SF is probably the best cafe experience I've had in the whole of Starbucks chain I've been. More than the food it's the hospitality and the warmth the employees give that speaks volumes. Greeting almost everyone even during rush hours are small gestures that goes a long way. They even gave these free coffee cups for the festive season(not sure whether it's on all chains). Definitely recommend them. Kudos to the entire staff crew!
Super happy that they were open until 6pm on Thanksgiving day. There are chairs to sit though which was a little hard with kids to eat snacks. They made the perfect latte with 3/4th shot.
A great spot for early birds to grab a snack. The Caramel Frappuccino was just right. Sweet and tasty. Their Spinach Feta Wrap is a good option from the breakfast menu.
Corner Starbucks on Stockton and Sutter. Friendly staff. Pretty clean establishment. Ordered the bacon Gouda sandwich - pretty tasty 😋
Love pumpkin cold brew.. love the taste, the staffs didnt rush us to order.
Perfect spot to grab a Starbucks for anyone staying at the Hyatt. This is essentially a takeout only Starbucks as there is no seating.
Amazing time chilling here while we are waiting for our Paperworks to be done. Amazing view of seeing the Hustle and Bustle of San Francisco.

I like the service in this Starbucks. Nice stuff.
Aside from the cold and hot beverages there are numerous food items to warm up and cookies plus sandwiches and other sweets to mention a few...

Exceptional Cafe Mocha today, but would have loved it a bit hotter; too crowded to ask. Ham & cheddar egg bites were a bit mushy, but still tasty for this LCHF gal. Good WiFi and lots of intetesting foreign visitors at this downtown SF location.
Fairly cramped Starbucks. This particular Starbucks has Google Wi-Fi, however, so it's a great place to sit (if you can get a table) and browse the web for a few hours.
Fast and courteous service. Ample room (this time). Not the cleanest, but given the amount of traffic, not surprising. Overall, good.
Quick service and normally pretty good coffee. Some staff friendly and others are grumpy.
ThisbStarbucks is on a busy corner and is pretty small with limited seating. Really just a place I would go to for an on the go order. I wouldn't feel too good about sitting in there to get some work done.
This is a wonderful spot. I have oftentimes witnessed the kindnesses and mercies of staff assisting the many poor and suffering souls who drag themselves here. It is quite astonishing that in a city as "progressive" as SF private places of business are so heavily burdened with what should be municipal services (e.g. public bathrooms, showers, mental health referrals). As a Quaker, it is not easy seeing the Light of Christ in all people. That difficulty, however, is not a matter of class.
They are always ready to take your order and are prepared to deliver, I never have to wait a long time
Of all the Starbucks coffee establishments which I have ever been to, this one of them, and in all of my life I can only imagine that if I ever come here again that I will likely order coffee, possibly some sort of pastry, and with absolute certainty I can write that I will use their WiFi and take pictures of people I think are strange looking'.
They got my order right even though it was annoying and took the time to correct a mistake themselves
This is a Starbucks, like many others. It is perfect if you're in a hurry, and need caffeine. I've been to this Starbucks a number of times, and never had an issue. In fact, I think that it's always been a fairly quick in and out for me, since I've usually come to this one at off-hours. That said, it's exactly what I was looking for at the times that I've gone, a quick cup of decent coffee, and sometimes a healthy snack when I'm in a hurry.
The restrooms are large and extremely clean. The coffee is very nice. It is always hot. The staff are very polite and nice. Very clean looking. The tables are smooth and shiny clean. I'd recommend for a morning coffee when it is the people.
Standard Starbucks coffee shop located just North of Union Square. It’s not too busy. Staff is friendly and accommodating. No seating inside and no tables outside. I think theft is high so most merchandise is locked up. Just ask. Parking is limited. Either walk, take public transportation, or pay to park in a garage.
Good Starbucks. Convenient location. Line not too long. Not a huge amount of seats, but enough to have some chance of sitting down.
Very nice coffee place but it gets very busy on the weekends. Conveniently located across from Hyatt.

Average Starbucks experience, but no seating so just a to-go location. They were very quick, and my drink was as expected from Starbucks.
Definitely enough seating, and good drinks. No sockets though. Big drawback of this location. Great barista (beard, buzzcut? and glasses), super kind & welcoming.

Huge national coffee chain. Similar to an expensive Tims. Nothing stood out here really except for really slow service. Been to this chain thousands of times before and obviously will return. Would recommend it if you are a coffee lover and really enjoy your java, if you only drink coffee once in a while or don't care for fancy hand crafted expresso based drinks then save some money and go to Tim Hortons or McDonald's even!
Very small location & Small seating area. No outlets available. Recommend using the mobile app to order rather than stand in line. Not the greatest space to do work.

Oops, they made my matcha soy latte with a Jade Citrus Mint tea bag without the matcha!! Yuck!! They remade it, of course, but my tastebuds are still recoiling from that initial experiential sip!
This place is near Union Square so it's crowded with tourists and shoppers. The music and background noise can be loud at times, and the staff have no control over the playlist or speaker malfunction.
I like the Starbucks is usually consistent no matter where you happen to find yourself in the world. However; to this day the best Starbucks I have visited was located in Krakow Poland (off the central market square). There (& ONLY THERE) did the server ask me if I wanted my milk warmed up for my hot coffee. I was confused and he said *well your coffee is hot so cold milk will cool it*. I laughed because I had never been asked that before at any Starbucks and his common sense took me off gaurd lol
Not too bad BUT: Music is too loud (one star off) and no flavor powders except cinnamon. They’ve never had anything but cinnamon during my half-dozen visits over the last five months. I enjoy vanilla, so that’s another star off.
So I go to Starbucks all the time and over they are all just the Carl’s Jr. of coffee shops. So I don’t actually expect too much. So when I say this know that I’m not looking to be catered to like I was royalty or anything. However when I walk up to the counter and patiently wait to tell the manager that they are out of toylet paper I person don’t expect to get looked up and down with a snear if distain and “ya,thank” and then turn her back on me is really not polite and not responsible managment behavior.
Friendly staff. Limited seating. Enjoyed my seat by the window looking out Stockton street. Stone's throw away from Union Square. Parking garage across the street. Metered street parking. Short walk from BART, Montgomery station. Muni bus station kitty corner to it.
Small place. Crowded at peak hrs. Coffee & snacks always good. Nice view of rat race outside. But the cordial staff makes it worthwhile to stop in for a cup of mud!
Maybe I entered at the wrong time. Was only customer. Staff were all socializing with each other which is totally fine if there is nothing to do. But, once I ordered they seemed distracted, not really paying attention and got my order wrong. No biggy, they corrected it. Still...
Not a fantastic experience, starting off with how homeless people are camped out at the front door, asking for money. Staff was not too welcoming. It was close to my hotel which gave me an option, but if there were other options, I would have been happy to take them
Small seating area and can get very crowded quickly because of the line of customers wrapping around the store. No outlets available for charging of devices. Good experience if one is grabbing a mobile order. Not the greatest space to do any work.
Location is great but they don't have plugs available, so don't come to work just to have a coffee.

Slow, dirty, hot, just blah. Somehow this location just doesn't perform well. Always a long line and you can feel the negativity. Take a walk to Blue Bottle coffee not far away.
It was good but the employees were mean
Slow and otherwise slightly subpar
Terrible service by the barista. There was no milk or half and half, with all carafes empty. When I brought over the empty carafes and asked for milk or half and half, the barista pretended I didn’t exist. I’m a very polite person. I asked again. Same result. Finally when he was helping a woman with her drink, she asked him to help me first, and he finally refilled the carafes with half and half, but avoided eye contact with me. Very strange. Not coming back.
The starbucks on the corner of Stockton and Sutter in San Francisco was ok! They didn't have a public restroom. They also didn't have chairs. But the strangest thing was then I went to get a refill on my ice coffee they wanted to charge me for each pump of classic sweetener! I buy ice coffee at every starbucks I know of or run in to! I am a Gold card member because of my order habits. I have Never been required or asked to pay for liquid classic sweetener in all the countless years and trips to any starbucks i have been to.
I stop by on the way to work almost every weekend. Some baristas don't apply the cup discount that also gives you extra stars when you bring your own cup. Not a big deal, but it's annoying.
April 29, 2017 5:45PM Horrible! Came in for a cup of coffee and was greeted with impatience and neglect while I waited in a 2-person line. They ultimately served me a cup of burnt coffee. Detail: There seemed to be some kind of problem or mix-up with the previous orders when I joined the line with two people in front of me. The lady who was at the head of the line grew impatient. Not wanting to wait any longer, she left the store without ordering. After noticing a growing queue of unhappy customers, the clerks quickly took the order of the next customer, a man in front of me. They then continued to work on their problems neglecting me and the rest of the people in line. After 10 minutes of waiting, the barista greeted me with frustration and an unapologetic attitude when she finally began to take my order. I would recommend walking two more blocks down the street to another Starbucks or Coffee Bar for a better experience.
Starbucks on the smaller, slightly more unclean side, is how I would describe this place. Whilst the menu and music is consistent with the Starbucks experience, the seating area isn't crash hot. I wouldn't pick this place to congregate with people. It appears to be a quick stop-off for busy workers and tourists looking for a coffee or bite.
Terrible service by Edward. Think he must have been half drunk at 630am. Too busy prancing around like a fool to pay attention to your order.
Terrible service. Despite telling I need it soon. Nobody cares. Paid and had to leave with nothing. Doesn’t even say SORRY
Peet's coffee is better and second this starbucks is ridiculous. Bad workers and disrespectful manger's. A simple cup of coffee is hard for them to manage to make right. Don't recommend them.
Ordered late a scone 2 bucks and the size of a fortune cookie. What a ripoff
I purchase ground coffee and a sandwich and a dessert and asked to have my Starbucks tumbler filled with hot water so I could try my new coffee. THE MANAGER REFUSED TO GIVE ME HOT WATER EVEN THOUGH EVERYTHING I HAD WAS LABELED STARBUCKS
Chad one of the baristas was EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional! He gave me the wrong drink and when I told him he refused to make me another one! Do not recommend this store they are so rude!
Need a place to sit. Chairs removed. Really? It has to be a joke that this is a solution towards any issue. Just close up altogether if this is the new model
Service is very poor and i ask the restroom and black t shirt and. Wearing black hat guy was very rude there today morning and he said no no restroom and how he answered..
We ordered a Capuccino. The drink was too light on coffee. We requested a replacement or a fix but they just rejected it and didn’t care whether we like the drink or not. Please find a different Starbucks if you can.
I ordered a light roast brewed coffee. The server struggled with the light roast coffee dispenser (probably out), mumbled angrily, and moved to the medium roast. I was waiting for the server to mention the switch (not a big deal), but he said nothing. I noticed later the coffee was only partially filled, probably a tall volume in a grande cup. If you hate your job, quit. Don't half-ass it and kill morale for your coworkers and customers.
My first day in SF and I received the most horrendous service I have ever experienced. First the lady kept saying my name completely wrong and then when she said the order, she got mad at me when I picked it up?? Then when I asked a tray for my THREE drinks she was yelling and saying that trays are only for FOUR drinks. Unbelievable.
Starbucks used to be nice. Now it has the exact same atmosphere as some dirty fast food place that wants you get get out as soon as you can. Whatever value Starbucks used to offer for their overpriced coffee is now gone.
Very rude antipathetic manager (white man, short hair with a beard, light brown/red hair) with such a nauseating Californian attitude, who told me : 'I hope you have the day you deserve" because I was asking for a Mint herbal tea that they have on the wall but would not sell to me since it is reserved for more ''complicated drinks''... such a poor customer service and a poor frustrated manager on duty.
Jeffery is not a good customer representative. He refused to provide the service.
Terrible service and local. First, very unpolite personel. Rude and 0 welcoming, makes you feel you are bothering them. The person at the cashier today at 8.30am is an example. Second, there's no chairs to sit...? Tables but no chairs. Not the standart SB has for sure.
This Starbucks is very inconsistent. I always order the same drink and its always different outcome. I also notice they always have some one new. One time I caught my barista topping my drink off with water because the cup was not full. Not coming back here.
They did not give me my order completely while I was standing there waiting for my teas they were talking to each other and ignoring me. I waited 15 minutes for 2 Earl grey teas and finally got tired and told them... Their attitude wasn't the best and they did not even apologize.
I come to this Starbucks a lot and the morning team is generally great. The afternoon team is rude and not helpful. The gentleman who looked to be as one of the leader was talking so loud behind the counter the woman taking my order could barely hear me and he was extremely rude when I was getting my order. Disappointing!!
Very rude people work here. She didn’t want to give me drink I always have in Starbucks So unpleasant experience. Avoid this Starbucks
Well what can I say, 20min to closing and but they decided to close down early. So no coffee for me. I get it when you close five minutes early but 20min is a bit over the top! I’m a Gold Member in two countries but this really annoyed me A LOT!

Management was rude. The workers were awesome though!
Horrible experience. I heard the baristas speaking ill about customers in my native language which is Tagalog. Very unprofessional. A lot of homeless people around the area. I was in the store for under 10 minutes and 2 homeless people came in.
Update. Manager jay likes to take it upon himselt to harrass the black guy sleeping in the room between sips of coffee. So from 5 stars to no stars thanks to jay. Racist unqualified management. I cant believe the discrimination i witnessed here. Jay needs to be fired. Written up, retrained at min. But fired is best. No racist management at startbucks. I will organize a boycott if this guy keeps bothering paying customers. Totally disgusting reprehensible behavior. Old review before jay: One of the best starbucks i been too and i been to hundreds. No outlets which is a hipster coffee shop thing. Go to apple store and charge. Then come here for coffee. The staff is excellent. Cheers. Starbucks needs to give these folks a raise. And bonuses. And more. Never been treated better.
I was standing in a line once to get my morning coffee, when I was told by the only barista that “you have to leave you can not stay here”, when I asked why? She started to say she will call a police without giving me a valid reason. Atmosphere? With a psycho barista like that it’s not between 1 and 5 stars, it’s supposed to be negative. Never go Starbucks in SF after this, there are many other fancy places with better coffee and normal acting employees.
Very bad customer service, the girl who gave us the drink was very curt and unfriendly and she didn't even put the lid on the plastic cup.
