We travel to Wappinger Falls to attend the memorial service of a dear friend. We arrived early and walked around looking for the best option. WOW did we hit the lottery. Owner Roberto greeted us with computer menu, and with the pride and joy announcement that, "we make everything fresh here, every day." He was SO RIGHT. From the freshly made, perfectly salted nachos and ripe avocado guacamole to the perfect empanadas, Roberto has everything absolutely spot on. Mobil Five Diamond Squad needs to head to Loco Grimaldi and taste Roberto fine Mexican Menu.

It’s not an overreaction to say this is the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. And even better, the service was incredible. The 2 gentlemen were extremely kind and helpful throughout the entire visit. Well deserved 5 stars. I will be going back many more times!

It's a really small space but the host was super nice. I didn't get his name, but the hospitality he showed me was great and the food was really really good. It wasn't busy when I went and the food took about 15 min to make. I was also talking the guys ear off asking about the restaurant. So far so good! I really hope they keep it up and don't fall into the issue many other spots have fallen into. Good in the beginning and then dropping off when the honeymoon phase is over. Good luck to this place!

Don’t believe any negative review for this restaurant! I am originally from California and my standards on Mexican food could not be higher, this place is amazing! I lived in Manhattan for five years before moving up to this area and I can tell you that this restaurant is on par with some of the best restaurants in NYC. So glad I can find my comfort food once again that I missed so much from my home state!

So good! I recommend following them on Instagram. They have daily specials and other items that aren’t necessarily on the menu. We had a burrito and the gorditas. The gorditas were my fav! Made fresh. The family that own were so nice and welcoming to my husband when he went in. Can’t wait to go back!

Just went here yesterday and it was fantastic! Friendly service, the Tacos Al Pastor were flavorful and the Carne Enchilada Torta was delicious! Very reasonably priced, can't wait to go back!

The traditional Mexican tacos are great- just onion and cilantro (no cilantro for me though). Chorizo taco was not oily, very flavorful, the steak taco was cooked perfectly and the chicken had nice color and was not too overdone. The vegetable burrito is perfect for anyone who doesn't eat meat and was super filling. Their fried plantains (maduros) we're so tender and sweet. Their homemade hot sauce is the real thing- a little goes a long way.

But we did enjoy the food and appreciated the fact that it is authentic, and would order from them again. We would just check the food containers to make sure everything is accounted for.

No glasses of water available, you have to purchase bottled water for $2.50 cents. Asked if the black bean soup was puréed and he said yes. It’s not puréed. Ordered the burrito no avocado or sour cream per the description on the menu. Never came to the table to ask how everything was.
