Opiniones de La Cave Wine Bar & Boutique Lakewood
Don't go anywhere else!! Came in from out of town & had a great time. The owner is an amazing guy. Incredibly friendly & classy atmosphere. Tried the Aglianico Campania red and Suavecito tequila margarita. Great live music on Friday night!
We celebrated my wife's birthday in the private dining room. The service, food and wine selection was all excellent! I highly recommend it.
Shocking! I can't believe this nice of a restaurant can be at 6th and Union. Amazing food and incredible atmosphere. I do not normally write reviews but was compelled to do so with this one. I promise if you try it you will not be disappointed.
This place is very sentimental as my fiance and I had our first date here. The featured wine flights definitely helped the sparks fly!
Excellent food & Great service. Owner "Yusef" (spelling?) and crew delivered an amazing meal to our room on Valentine's day.
The staff treats you like an old friend and the wine you can never go wrong with! It's a home away from home and the perfect spot to unwind after a long day!
Good wine selection! After more than a month James the knowledgeable and congenial barkeep remembered the wine we drink and are names.
Absolutely one of the best restaurants around ... incredible food, wine and service!
I have had multiple experiences at La Cave and they have all been wonderful. Everything including the food, wine, wait staff, lighting, bartenders; all top notch. My filet was cooked to perfection and bacon wrapped upon request. I recommend the calamari and the Mediterranean plate as appetizers. I look forward to future visits to La Cave and hope their new location opens shortly after this one closes.
It's not often that I write reveiws about resturants, however my visit to La Cave last week was superb! I took my extended family out to eat for a elegant yet casual Sunday morning and was amazed at the quaility of our visit. We were greeted warmly by the hostess who sat us a table with a great view of Denver, the wait staff was attentive and friendly and made sure that we were taken care of. I had the Burbon Pecan French Toast and it was excellent. It was not a visit that I nor my family would forget and I will definately be coming back.
I was at the Sheraton during my business week and usually I am not a super fan of restaurants inside hôtels. Nevertheless I was seduced by the cellar and I decided to try. It was a real pleasure to dine and to take couple of glasses of wine with the fire place just behind me. The food is fresh and the bill was really reasonable. I recommend to try also the chocolate from the boutique... Delicious.
This restaurant is a gem. It is the only Wine Spectator Award restaurant west of downtown Denver, and the food is creative and delicious, from tapas to cioppiono to steak au poivre. The owners, Youssef and Elizabeth, are always on hand to ensure a delightful, personal experience. It's hard to imagine that this exquisite restaurant is in Lakewood.
A wonderful start to our weekend get away 🚗"without kids!" 🤗 We stopped by La Cave for breakfast. If you haven't had breakfast their, Do! It was a lovely atmosphere, great staff, top notch food! #BestofDenver hollandaise sauce! Thank you #CommunityConnectTrade we would have never known about this #Gem if it wasn't for us being a member! We will be back soon! Can't wait to do a date night here! #FanBrag
The Capital Grille - it is my new favorite place. I had wanted to go there for a long time and finally got to go. I will not lie and will tell you it is not cheap. It is pricey, but it is most wonderful. If you want a lovely place where the service is also excellent and the food.
Was here for breakfast and was the best hotel breakfast ever!! The morning staff is very attentive and professional. The con is the bar closes way to early. 11 pm is when guests begin to come back for the night from out on the town, perhaps eager for one more drink not the greatest time to be closing on the weekend.
“Most wonderful food and dining experience” The Capital Grille - it is my new favorite place. I had wanted to go there for a long time and finally got to go. I will not lie and will tell you it is not cheap. It is pricey, but it is most wonderful.
I have taken business acquaintances, good friends and family to the Grille and everytime they are consistently great. ENJOY!
Mother's Day Brunch 2015. It was just OK. VERY limited selection on the buffet. No fruit station, one bowl of lettuce as salad. You couldn't put a full meal together. They had roast pork, but nothing to go with it. No mashed potatoes or rice, or gravy or apple sauce, etc. The french toast was mushy in the middle. The scrambled eggs were powdered. The view is of the parking garage. Many of the stations needed replenishment and it didn't happen. No cream cheese for bagels. The plates and bowls would run out and they didn't restock them. I won't be back.
Poor service, less than impressive food, higher than appropriate prices, below mediocre customer service. It took an hour and a half to get our food with very few people to serve, and with a huge screw-up in our order, they offered to have it "fixed" in an additional forty five minutes, twenty minutes just to get the tab and another fifteen minutes to get the bill actually paid.
Told me I couldn't have breakfast, then made wait over an hour so they could change over to lunch , with out telling me I would have to wait . Waited over an hour for a fine dinning experience and to be treated better , ended up tired of waiting and paid for food and left before it even got there . Go to Dennys across the street, at least you'll get to eat. Don't waste your time or money here
Horrible tapas and overpriced. Meat and cheese plate was a mismatch of cheap meats and even cheaper cheeses. Mediterranean plate was even worse. Pita bread was literally as soft as croutons.
If you like food, don't eat here. Go for the cocktails and atmosphere, but eat elsewhere. The atmosphere is beautiful and it was a great place to chat and have a drink, however, for the first time in my life I asked to send my entree back. It was tasteless, undercooked and uninspired, which I think is unacceptable for an expensive plate. The sauce was watery and the presentation was sloppy. I would expect better quality from the place across the street: Noodles and Co, which is fast food. And this is where we ended up getting a much better meal when all was said and done. I can honestly say I would never eat here again or recommend it to anyone when Denver has so many amazing places to eat.
I can excuse the parking lot views given it is in a hotel. But an $18 charcuterie plate was literally pre packaged pre sliced cheese, and very very low quality deli meats. The $38 steak was grey and completely flavorless. I couldn't finish it. The ice cream tasted like it had been in their freezer for a year. If the place cost 1/2 as much it could get 3-4 stars, but the quality and prices are completely disconnected.
Ordered the Pasta Primavera for lunch yesterday and the pasta was not cooked and hard and dry. Let the server know and she said the pasta may be aldiente, but this pasta was not cooked and it was hard and dry. After seeing my plate was still full, server did not offer to bring out a fresh plate or offer a different choice, she just offered to adjust the bill, so lunch was disappointing. Surprised a place of this scale would serve such quality.
