I go here ALOT, I love that they actually take phone orders and have ready fast! All of these employees work very hard and are professional!

Went to Golden's last night for dinner! And I'd say it's never been better. There was no wait for our order it was fresh and tasted great!

I tried the chicken salad sandwich. OMGoodness, it was soooooo good and lots of it. The corn nuggets were yummy too. Good service in the drive thru.

The best fish and chicken in the area, homemade rolls and gravy and the fries are amazing and the food is just delish.

Great food just wish it was a little cheaper but i will eat there again anyways

Love the thg rolls as I'm sure you all do plus the counter staff are always smiling and really want to help brighten your day

A young man with a blue shirt at the register was extremely nice with me as I came in the store and he helped me navigate the menu as this is my first time at the beevile golden chick he was very patient with us and even offered to help carry our food to the car for us. I definitely be coming back again!

The staff is curious and kind. The food was hot and delicious. Jen worked the drive thru, and she was patient with me because i had no idea what i wanted, lol.

I walked in to this Golden Chick and the aroma of fried chicken was out of this world, I could already taste the juices of chicken, but in this case I walked in ready to order some fried gizzards with cream gravy and not only were these gizzards so delicious, fresh out of the fryer but the gravy and the roll gosh what more can I say just "MOUTH WATERING AND INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS!!! Not forgetting, but those front line workers were so sweet and friendly and ready to assist you!! I was a happy camper this day 😊😋😋😋

Golden Chick was remodeled this past year and looks so much cleaner. The employees also seem much more enthusiastic about their jobs. We have had excellent service and excellent food the past few months.

The entire staff on 2/5/2025 night shift was amazing. I was visiting the prison unit on business and had never been to a golden chicken. They were awesome even the cook. She came from the back to help with my order. I wish that amazing experience would be possible for the world to see. The cooks name was shade and felon was the manager. The world needs those personalities NOW.

My family went here for dinner and had a great experience. The food was served quickly, the chicken was warm and tasty, and we were able to have great conversation in a cozy corner. While we were there, a man came in saying he lost his wallet, and the manager went above and beyond to help him locate it. Overall, it was a great dine-in experience!

Good food quick service would be a 5 star rating but due to the unbelievably high pricing in my opinion I gave the place 4 stars

Food and service great. Dining room and tables needed to be cleaned. It was after lunch rush but need to be aware.

As always the food was great and they have the meals out quickly, but for the second time in a row I ordered jalapeno bombers and did not get them. I put that one on me for not checking the order before I left.

Pretty good service all around. Unlike McD they make sure to fill your drinks all the way up. Only issue was Mac and Cheese was slightly burnt. Great food, great customer service

The thermostat in the dining area really 86.4°. There was no mashed potatoes, corn nuggets, fish fillets. Fountain drinks tasted flat and syrupy. No bueno!

I went through the drive thru. The wait time was short . I ordered the mixer which was a great value when feeding a family of 4 that includes a teenage boy. I was disappointed in the chicken tenders. They were smaller than normal and over cooked. The fried chicken was good and not greasy. The rolls and fried okra were delicious!

The only thing is that there had been a few time I order the Mixer (some fried chicken and some chicken tenders) and all of they could please cook EVERYTHING fresh...and will be told sure no problem. But then I get to the office or home, and the only item that is fresh and hot will be the tenders. The fried chicken fries poppers are not fresh... The other evening the biscuits were a BIG disappointment the biscuits were dry, cold, and hard. If I'm paying $50 or more... Or paying $6... I feel i should get my order as requested... especially if I ask if they are willing to cook it freak and I'm being told sure no problem.

The breading mixture on the chicken tenders is perfection crispy and flavorful. I would rate 5 stars but they got rid of the liver. The gizzards are my favorite but no liver 😭. That combination goes together! Still disappointed.

The place is usually really busy, which can lead to some time waiting in line; but it's worth it. Compared to Church's Chicken, these guys are a 3 star Michelin restaurant. Did I mention that Church's Chicken is pure trash. Church's Chicken is trash. Especially that short, fat manager that can't count. If Golden Chick could steal the recipe for those honey butter biscuits, I'd buy stock in the company. Golden Chick, holla at ya boi, I'll get that recipe for you.

Some serious cleaning needs to happen ASAP! Sticky tables, chairs & floors... Numerous dead flies on tables & windowsills. Does Bee County not get visited by the Health Inspector? 🤔 All that aside, the pecan/ cranberry chicken salad was very good 😊

The food is very good chicken they seem to have larger pieces. The building still needs more improvement inside they did fix the roof leaks.

Went to the place 1 hour before closing at 9 pm and they where alredy closed i summited a hour change thru google so people dont have to drive 45 minutes from three rivers and get to beeville and everything is closed even though most of the places show close at 10.

2 piece was supposed to include breast. Gave us a thigh instead. That and when we got to window, we sat for nearly 10 minutes before we were acknowledged.

Lunch? Yeah sure just expect them to forget your extra sides, but if u want dinner on a Friday, obviously dine in isn't an option. We walked up to the doors only to find out it was locked . a sign on the door would've been nice. Frequently understaffed.

The people forgot to add the okra to our bag and here is the drive thru guy at the red light with it!!! Wish we knew the guys name to give him a shoutout!! Great customer service 👏 👌

Food is still good, Shrinkflation making smaller portions to point that don't feel like I'm getting a good deal anymore, makes it a rare occasion to pick up food from there.

The worse place to order to go. We spend almost $60.00 dollars and they forgot one side, we order 3 sides. They forgot the gravy for the mashpotatos and order 3 corn dogs and asked for mustard and they forgot. I do not recommended that place.

Service is horrible. The lady working at the register was vaping while taking orders. Smh!!! Chicken was bland.

Went today to try out the fried catfish, came out fresh and good but the attitude I received at the window was not professional what so ever the man barely even said any thing no hello or have a nice day nothing I worked fast food for 4 years and nobody deserves that kind of treatment. The food was good just the staff needs correcting cause that ugly attitude is gonna cause people not to go by

I don’t know what has happened but this place has gone downhill. Orders are often incorrect. Food tastes stale or greasy the majority of the time. Recently tried again and had lingering stomach problems. Searching for better options.

The chicken is good! Service is bad, wait time is ridiculous, always out of something, doesn't look like they wear gloves or hair nets and the staff always looks pissed off or annoyed to be there.

This is the best chicken in town bar none! Unfortunately the building is a hot mess. A hole in the ceiling just above the chicken keeping area reveals insulation to the eye. Multiple ceiling panels show signs of a leaky roof and possible mold. The air conditioning is hit and miss as to whether it's going to work or not. The soft serve machine is also an intermittent affair. It's not all bad. The employees are very nice and service is usually prompt and with a smile. If not for the building this review would score a solid 4 stars. I can't help but think that a thousand dollars worth of repairs would make for a much more pleasant dinning atmosphere.

Food was good but restaurant was so filthy. Floors are super greasy and bathroom was so dirty I chose not to use it. There are flies and gnats all over the place. Business was slow and what looked like enough employees to grab cleaning supplies and tidy up the place.

I decided to try the drive thru again after being ignored the previous night at the box. I was finally greeted after 3 minutes and told to wait. There was one car in front of me and no one eating inside. I waited another 4 minutes to order. When I got to the window no one inside said anything to me one of the staff got herself a drink of tea whilst using the cup to scoop the ice and ran to the back. I waited to pay. The wrong change was given back they were going to short me 2 dollars if I hadn't been paying attention. They said they dropped the food fresh it was bland and dry. I spent 17 on 2 meals and this is the first and last time I will ever eat here. BTW no napkins or forks.

The food is okay. We had to wait 30 mins for a chicken sandwich. My husband decided to go inside and check on it and they threw a chicken patty squished between two rolls. I just don't understand why it took so long for them to do that.

Remodeling looks great! Decided to go by today since haven’t gone by in long time. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich combo. The sandwhich was just chicken, mayo, and a roll. Did not look like the sandwhich that is posted on drive thru, and also the website! Ordered corn nuggets and they were either over cooked or old! I am totally disappointed! And it cost me almost ten dollars ! Not happy camper!

Service here was excellent my food was ready quick and the workers where polite however it’s extremely hot in there and no air flow I felt suffocated and couldn’t finish my meal in that environment so I had to walk across to McDonald’s and order a frap to cool me down and to also finish my meal.

Ordered the fried catfish and it was disgusting. They offered to make some fresh, but lost my taste for it after biting in the 1st piece. Got chicken instead and it was delicious. I also got 2 chicken strips. Never seen such small strips. About the size of McDonald's nuggets. Ridiculous how small they were.

We were first customer right at opening, so food was fresh and we ordered a large order, $161.00 worth, so we sat in dining roim waiting for it to be cooked, and if we had seen conditions of store we might had gone else where. Dirty floors, filthy windows inside and out and bathrooms were rough looking. We have been stopping here every 3 months since 23' and conditions have declined. The young man who took order was polite, but we seemed to be a bother to female wearing the headset. Date was 5-25-24.

Are always out of stuff I want on menu , this week there Is a typed list of 5 to 6 things on the drive thru menu of things they don't have. As we found out that's not all they don't have. For the last year this is a on going problem . I now have to say bye bye.beeville golden chick only been 3 times in last 6 months and obviously , you have bad management or ownership who don't care . once, bad experience. Twice not a coincident. Three times im a fool for trying again. Not anymore, BYE,BYE.

Their Drive thru wait is easily 15- 20 mins.. Employee's usually don't seem to be working together, bickering and confused.. I go in with an open mind everytime knowing they may not have what I want and if they do it'll take a while and once I get my order, I need to make sure they handed me everything I paid for.. If my kids didn't love and beg for their tenders, I most likely wouldn't bother returning.

11-30-2022 I walked inside to order an 8 piece chicken, they tried to charge me 29.00. Thats not the first time. be careful, they will try to overcharge.

Wow. What a disappointment. I haven’t been there in years and it was honestly disgusting. The chicken was dry and tasted like burnt plastic. I will never make the mistake of going there again.

This is the third time in a month that i have ordered at drive thru and had to go back to store because they left food off of my order. Would like to eat a meal I purchase while it was still hot. I asked if they double checked the order and still they hey forget. Its the same when i order from inside.

There is no silverware and no napkins in my bag. We got to the park and there was no silverware. On top of that we wait for 15 minutes to get cold food.

I don't even know where to start first I believe the AC was broke because it was extremely hot in the restaurant second the employees did not smile or greet you at all third I've ate better mashed potatoes from a frozen dinner. I definitely will not be returning.

I pulled in at 830 and the wife wanted chicken thighs, they told it would be 15 mins I said no problem I’m working across the street at the tractor supply I’m from outta town so that’s fine, there was silence for about a minute, she comes back and says that the manager said there not fixing anymore chicken cause they close at 930? I’ve never eaten here before, but after the way I was treated I don’t think I’ll ever come back, anything I ask for they didn’t have or would they fix it, ohhhh not to mention that the guy working with a wife beater on and his underwear showing

Took 30 minutes to get my 16 tender meal and 2 pieces of breast. The problem was the 3 cars came in behind me and left with their food before me. Horrible... They need new management there.

Passing through beeville I thought I’d try something new so, I walked up to the counter to see what this restaurant had in store;I was promptly ignored and the cashier walked off not to say anything for 10 minutes with no contact from any workers ,until the employee working the drive thru acknowledged me and my family while the other worker was nowhere to be seen. He took our order gave us our drinks but there are no lids behind the counter or in the store, and then the female employee came back and told the drive thru worker to not take our order on the front register and to take it on the drive thru register. He took our order and nothing happened for 15 minutes no one started our food as we waited in the dining room there were flies all over dead and alive. It looked like the dead flies on the counter had not been cleaned up in months and I can’t imagine what it looks like in the kitchen.after about 40 minutes we received half our order of food,our order was incorrect and missing items but I figured it’s easier to just eat my food and leave since it has already been a long time waiting on a simple order. Save yourself time and money by choosing something else.

I've been to this chain before in Corpus Christi and San Antonio and totally love the chicken there. This location, however, was absolutely horrible. The chicken was dry and cold as if it had been sitting under the lamp for hours. The mashed potatoes were runny with no gravy. The only good thing was the dinner rolls.

Service is terrible. Servers are very rude. Too cold turn air conditioner off. Need to have butter for rolls. Prices for sides are ridiculous. They need to charge a lot less than that. Tea prices are way too expensive.

Fish was dry, over cooked and small. Dinning room Is DIrty floors are greasy. Kids running restaurant. Needs big improvement, staff and all. Place is going down hill. Won't be back.

We stopped here because Golden Chick's are usually good. Both restrooms here were out of order. They gave us cups for tea, but there was no ice. Our order took a very long time, and when it arrived, it wasn't what we ordered. We ate it anyway. Chicken was very overcooked. Horrible!

I order often for my elderly parents. Unfortunately, the food we got looked like it was not fresh and was not hot. The food looked like it was fried too any times. I called and they said food is made to order but it did not seem that way. It's sad that these days places like this get away with less than mediocre food and service. Hopefully the health inspector will visit them soon.

Way to expensive. Ice cream machine in the lobby wasn't working, which was the main reason we had gone. Worst part of the experience was waiting to use the restroom to was my hands for like five minutes. Employee finally comes out, restroom was blown up. I walk to the sink and there's no soap! How did the employee was his hands after using the restroom? Yup never ever going back.

Let me begin by describing the poor service I experienced. At the drive-through, I politely requested a moment to look at the menu. Less than a minute later, they asked if I was ready to order. I decided on a 6-piece chicken tenders, a family-size mac and cheese, and a single order of fries. They asked if I wanted the chicken regular or spicy, and I chose regular because it was for my kids. However, they gave me spicy chicken and forgot the fries.Additionally, who hands out a bag of food without napkins or utensils? How am I supposed to eat?Terrible service—I will never return.
