Fast service and clean. We were in and out with our order quickly. The server was friendly.
Quick with the order, nothing messed up, employees wearing mask to follow COVID Rules. Past few times have been way better then my first visit.

I ordered a sonic blast online. When I got there a car hop came and informed me the blast machine was broken and if I would like a shake instead. So I ordered 1. A few minutes later she brought it to me and said no charge per the manager. That's great service
Too hungry, fogot to take pix of food, got the number 1 burger w some water...Dont have many non sugary drinks, unfortunately..Nor any Zero Carb, Zero sugar drinks...Just water, or tons of carbs n sugars to drink...Only choice for diabetic, or boarderline, is water!!!
Just sat there and totally blanked on paying with my card because I'm distracted by a sick family member situation - and the carhop (The receipt said Jordan) was so incredibly cool about it. She didn't act put out or irritated at all. She kindly handled it and told me to have a good day. Stellar customer service.

Perfect place to stop by on your way to work for a quick breakfast stop! I went there this morning had my breakfast sandwich tots and cheese and cherry limeade delivered to the car in less than 5 minutes , got the full breakfast for round $6.
Took my gf to a back specialist in Denton stopped on way home. Quick courtesy service great burger good servers.

Don't go on Saturdays, sat for 15 minutes with the red button activated and no one took my order, they looked panicked. I was in plain view of the inside. July 6th 2024. I eat here every day during the week with great service
Best Sonic food I've had in a LONG time! Fries were hot and crispy, not like the cold, soggy ones they serve at the Gainesville Sonics. The burger was very fresh.
Good Location, right there at the highway good food ,reasonably priced, I go there for breakfast,, convenient payment just swipe your card at the menu, friendly staff who are usually quick with your meal, but on my last visit on Friday they were a little late getting my order out took about 9 minutes , (usually takes 4 to 5) no big deal, and the girl gave me a free- token for a large cherry limeade because they were a little late I was impressed by that surprise kindness ! Excellent customer service move !!!
To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of Sonic and have generally had bad inconsistent food at various locations. That being said, the Sonic in Pilot Point has been really good the couple times I've been there. The food has seemed freshly cooked, tastes good and appears to be made by employees that care. It would be nice if all Sonics could be as good as this one.
First Sonic we found that had ice cream for a cream strawberry slushy. My classic hamburger was right on to what I ordered. The carhop was very nice as was the speaker person. It was very clean except for one of those black, loud, nasty, dirty birds. 🥴🤢 Otherwise totally enjoyed sitting in our car in our stall until we finished eating. 👍🏻⭐
One of the better locations that I've frequented. Extremely quick turnaround on orders, even when every stall is occupied! Good quality food and service, better than most of the other locations I've visited. Location is clean and well-maintained. Prices are very reasonable.
This place is delicious. I personally think tht the ocean water slush is super good. I have never tried it before. But when I did, my life was changed. Also, I just tried the limeade slush. I have never tasted anything more delicious. I love sour things like sour patch kids, mr lemon head, and lemons.
Went in to try to new Frito menu. I was quickly answered on the menu board. Very friendly asked if I'd like the anything else or if I've tried. Came out very quickly hot and ready to be eaten. Always like going to Sonic reminds me of my childhood with my mom and dad.
Nothing separates a good experience from a bad experience any more than a wrong order. It happens. Rare for this location, but everybody makes mistakes. Love that the employees were pleasent and fixed the order quickly. I am constantly reminded with this location that they are doing well in serving the public. Keep up the great work.
Have been going quite a bit lately ! As always my food has be good and order correct ! Car hop has been very nice !
Orders are always made right and are delivered in a timely manner. Staff attitudes are horrible though, they all seem like they hate their jobs and hate serving people.
I find this system odd but the girl who brought the food to truck was sweet and kept going back for the few things she wasn't given. She made the experience worth the wait
This is the best sonic I have been to!! I love this sonic!! There food was fresh an hot an they weren't selfish with it. The service was amazing and fast. I highly recommend this sonic. The one over here in Denton sucks so bad that I would drive way over here just to get a drink or food. Totally worth it
Stopped for a quick bite and drink. Service was fast, even with special order items. The car hop was super friendly and provided service with a smile! Their current car hop special is an excellent value and I highly recommend combining that with their 'happy hour" drink specials for an even better deal. We will definitely visit this location again.
Sweet tea was (and is typically) great! Sometimes they miss the request for “Easy Ice” but that’s not a star worthy deduction!
The food was what you want from sonic, crispy things crispy and burgers burgered, but what sets this sonic apart is the staff is friendly and patient, from taking your order to the carhop handing it to you with a smile.

Sonic is sonic...food is usually ok if you don't expect much, inconsistency is the biggest issue. The staff is always friendly/helpful and overall a great experience for the family.
I've tried a different type of bacon garlic burger for the first time today and it was actually really good. I'm going to try it again next time for fast food. I was a little impressed 😁👍🏻
Service was fast and the food was great. The carhop that brought out my food was cheerful. The area was clean and well maintained. The only issue I had was when my order was taken the person taking the order repeated my order back and then didn't say another word. Didn't give me a total or anything. Otherwise it was a great visit.
The tater tots are not well cooked in the middle, seems to be cooked too fast so outside is a little too crunchy but inside is not right.
The burgers don't have the amount of bacon as shown in the picture. And it wasn't fresh and it was dry.
Just be ready for the unpredictable good or bad experience. All depends on who’s working. Their shakes are pretty good, I wouldn’t eat their food because it’s unhealthy in a bad way like it doesn’t taste good and it’s bad for you. Usually a lot of kids working for near minimum wage if that I s a good indicator of anything.
Waited about 30 Minutes for a grilled cheese, looked like they were understaffed and the staff was running around. Food was good and hot luckily.
Service is ok. Food is hit or miss fresh. Mary interrupted me multiple times and didn’t offer any upsales. She also did not repeat my order back or tell me to have a good day. Beth is more friendly.
The service was good but the food was bad, it was so heavy I'm grease/oil that this is all you could taste. Had I eaten there and not at home, I would have sent it back. I gave 5 stars for the atmosphere because it is a fast food and it has as much as any.
Great Staff and Very quick but I do admit at times they do mix up things or give you the wrong order. This happens everywhere but at times it gets a little old especially if you are in a hurry. We ordered BBQ wings and right when we get home to eat we noticed that they were hot wings... didn’t feel like heading all the way back into town. My peice I’d advice would be to check that your order is correct before driving off.
I guess I'm just spoiled to my local Sonic. We ordered a Carhop classic with no cheese, well we got a burger with cheese...when we pressed the red button again to discuss the issue the order taker told us to hold on and never got back to us. Almost 5 minutes of sitting there I got out of the vehicle and used the walk-up ordering menu to ask to have a manager come outside and speak with me. The manager on duty was a nice and apologetic young man who corrected the order-promptly. Now the order taker...well she probably needs further training with assisting customers with wrong orders.
Food is good - adequate for a Sonic. However, a 35+ minute wait is unacceptable. Whoever the owner of this site needs to hire more staff. Literally anyone who has applied should get a job to relieve the strain on wait times.
Burgers were good but not something special. We don't live near a Sonic, so it has been several years since we have gone to a Sonic. I tecall the strawberry lemonade as being much better than this one was. And, yes, it's a drive in summer: the flies were everywhere.
It's fast food it was good service was quick
Chicken tenders, tator tots and onions rings were overcooked or had been under the heat lamp too long. No sauce was offered, just marked no sauce like we didn't want any. It was a mistake to eat there, most of the food was thrown away because it was not good. Try serving what you would like to eat and maybe you would serve your customers better food.
The person who makes the food is not good at all! The order was correct but the quality was absolutely horrendous!
The staff at this Sonic loves to tell you that they gave you extra condiments when they actually give you nothing. Super weird. Don't lie to me. Other than this strange bout of habitual lying, the food always comes out tasting good.
My visit to Sonic took a bit longer than expected the wait was definitely on the long side but I still left feeling good thanks to Courtney, the employee who brought out my order. She was incredibly kind, respectful, and had such a positive attitude that it honestly made the whole experience better. It’s small gestures like that that make a big difference to people who aren’t having a good day to begin with people.
I ordered a large onion ring and the posted it as regular. The fixed the order and charged the extra $0..81 and put a regular onion ring in a larger bag. Come on people, you can do better.
Decent lunch here while visiting the lake but wish brought food from home as I was disappointed in how little food $35 buys these days. Also regretted how the food made me feel after eating it. Fries had bitter after taste, burger was not bad.
Last 2 times we have been they have been out of something whether it is corny dogs or mozzarella sticks. Also, they are currently advertising the car hop classic which they will not honor because they no longer are doing that special.
I was the only customer on the lot from the time I pulled in until the time I pulled out. Long story short after speaking to the GM and her response to me this Sonic is poorly managed so be prepared for chaos and poor customer service
Not only did they get my order wrong, but the popcorn chicken here is hardly edible. The only reason for two stars is that the shake was OK at best.
We visited on May 15th around 8:30 p.m. and the order got messed up. I called back and the manager got snippy with me about the three burgers that we ordered were exactly the same. This was after I tried explaining what was wrong, but he interupted me. What I was going to say was that the 4th burger was forgotten. All of us saw the 4th burger on the screen. We ordered the burger again and received it. What we had the problem with was the way the manager handled it. Tell him not tp take it personally when someone explains (tries to) the order got messed up.
This place usually has really good food but just ordered online and ordered blasts and a BBLT. Got there was told they don’t have hard ice cream only soft that doesn’t make a lot of sense offered shakes. Blasts and shakes are totally different. But just got home and the BBLT is cold and the bacon is burnt. I am very disappointed with my order this time. There patties are never burnt. But I’m super bummed, that the quality is different from usual.
Upset that I paid for xtra cherries inside my CLMaid and I only got one flipping cherry im so upset I tried calling and I tried the app but no luck
Sonic is usually a go to for consistency. Not today. . My server was very friendly and great. My food. The tater tots were good. My chicken sandwich liked fine but was RAW. I only discovered this after getting about half way into it😳 Come on guys. At least cook the chicken all the way.
Just swung through the drive through part to do a quick order, we just got some pretzel twists the girl that brought out our food was impersonal which is OK, what bothered me is she took the cash I gave her turned and walked away without giving me my change. I thought maby she would come back and give me my change, but no a few minutes later she was giving food to one of the cars parked in a stall lol she was short, had red hair with glasses, it was only a couple bucks so no big deal I just thought it rude to assume that I didn't want my change. The change was almost the price of the pretzel twists! I am all for leaving a tip but a 85% one? And just to assume? Idk, I don't think we will go back.
Great service as usual. The Burger was excellent, jalapeños and veggies were very fresh, BUT THE TOTS were far below their normal excellent quality. Tots were Not inedible, but the oil they were fried in was either too old or was a terrible batch resulting in a haunting aftertaste. Do better folks.
They used to be great. Lately it's little things like you order a large popcorn chicken and it's half empty most the time. And then they try to charge you for BBQ or ranch. Worst is your reciept will show the request ranch or BBQ sauce and no charge until they walk up and tell you they need more money.
The people/staff were pleasant and the Christmas decorations are pretty, but they were out of cheese (so no burgers) and out of all hotdogs.... so the person ordering food needs help.
Consistently baffled by the service. Wrong orders, double charged, etc. Especially the evening shift. Tonight we just left. I could hear music blaring in the background every time the worker came over the intercom and she was too confused for me to even order. I was told to hold on and then she never came back.
Honestly, the carhops are wonderful. They work hard and are always pleasant. The cooks frequently get orders completely wrong and it’s frustrating. The app is the most frustrating…it stinks. What a great tool this could be if it worked. And forget calling customer service - they won’t resolve it.
App hasn't worked for two weeks, and discounts weren't honored after trying to order through the app and having to order at the stall. We waited for our food longer than normal while watching our car hop check off in the system that he delivered our food and then proceeded to be on his phone for a while before bringing our order out. Food tastes like the oil wasn't hot enough and soaked up most of it, which caused stomach pains later. Unfortunately it's not like it used to be be.
Second time going to get a strawberry shake and it only being mixed half way. Also have ordered a cherry limeade several times and it be taste horrible!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!
When you order stuff online and it says it's going to be ready at a certain time you shouldn't have to wait 15-20 minutes past that time
Why does the time say that it is opened from 6 am to 11 pm if they close at 9 pm me and my family where so happy to go get some milkshakes but we arrieved and a woman said that they were closed !!?? My family was so disappointed they wanted a milkshake but they left Sonic dreaming for a milkshake .☹
Sold me 2 breakfast burritos, we’re supposed to have bacon egg and cheese. But just received cold egg on a tortilla. Realized it after my 20 minute drive home.
Very disappointed . The young lady taking the order was distracted and repeated my order back to me incorrectly. So I had to correct her and I still give me my order wrong. Chili cheese tater tot‘s that came with a combo which was supposed to be large appears to be a small with maybe 10 tater tot‘s barely any chili and even less cheese and the tater tots are old .
Every time I come here they always mess up! I ordered a vanilla Dr.pepper which cost me for the vanilla and it wasn't in there... Then I also got a sweet pretzel and didn't get cream cheese so when I called back in there they made me pay for it when they didn't even fix my drink right.. That's ok I won't be back here bc seems like its ALWAYS something here Every time...
I refuse to eat at this location after having some bad experiences myself and then hearing horror stories from employees that worked inside this location. Save your money or hit up the one that is in Aubrey/Krugerville or Whitesboro.
They argue with you if you don't get your order the way you ordered it. No masks. Waste of good money threw it out. Would not even give it one star. Every time I've eaten there the food was old and you could tell it was sitting out. I'm just fed up and never going back.
Only writing this review because I tipped four dollars and all I asked for was ranch, they never put the dipping sauce in my bag ever. Anyways, that’s it do better.
Weekends at this sonic are less than appealing. I come there on a regular basis and weekdays generally are good. On weekends it is like they are trying to say don't come here. The last 3 to 4 times our drinks have been marked wrong. Regular drink marked diet and diet marked regular. I know this is a petty thing but when it happens on a consistent basis it gets old. What is going to happen the car hop is going to suffer because I will stop tipping. Don't know who does drinks but this needs to stop. Done with my rant.
The Sonic app listed them being open until 12am on Friday. I did a 10 dollar order and when we arrived at 11 pm it was closed. 10 dollars gone. Need to update your hours on the app.
I go here fairly regularly and in general they have mediocre to bad service. One time they gave us slushes but forgot to add the flavor add-in (the slush was supposed to be watermelon but was literally white in color) and when we asked them to put it in they refused. Also I hear rumors that it's a crappy place to work, but I can't prove that. The sonic is Aubrey, just 8 miles up the road, is top-notch, go there instead if possible.
Worst sonic around. I will no longer be going to this sonic. This is the third trip and the third time my order has been wrong. It is an absolute disgrace. Ordered a regular hamburger and it was plain and dry. Last time it was a bacon cheeseburger. No bacon on it. Time before that it was a wrap with no tomato. Had tomatoes through out.
Waited 20 mins just for medium tots. They finally come out ROCK HARD. Many people seem to complain about this Sonic and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. After that experience and the second batch that came out was still gross. I won't be back.
This is my second time having to have them replace my order due to bad after taste with fries and onion rings and cold food that’s far from fresh 🥶 and they said next time they won’t replace my order. They have lost my family’s business. If you screw up an order or serve cold food you SHOULD replace it without arguing with the customer.
Order from here if you like getting your order messed up not once but TWICE! Their burger building is so bad that I’m willing to drive all the way down to Aubrey and order a burger from there! Just horrendous.
Website in Google both state they are open until midnight. Placed an order on the app but when I arrived at the store at 11:15, all the lights were out and no one was there. will be calling in the morning to get my order refunded apparently.
I had an off feeling about my order today something just felt like it would be wrong my order said on the way and it took way long after it said car hop on the way . Once I tasted my cookie dough blast definitely tasted freezer burnt . Horrible taste and had m&ms in it in which I never asked for m&m . If the location wasn’t closed I would have called in complaint this is the worst blast I ever had .
This sonic is so bad im almost convinced any good reviews must be fake. I waited 15 minutes just for someone to answer after pressing the button, i actually ended up driving to another stall because it took so long and even then still took about another 10 min. then waited another 20 minutes for chicken strips. The food was disgusting. The fries were cold and hard, the onion ring was the size of a quarter and rock hard and the tea tasted moldy. This has to be one of the WORST sonics i have ever been to. And most people i know avoid this sonic and just go to the one in Aubrey instead. Just yuk.
I've only had happy hour drinks. The carhop was fast and friendly. 9-13-2022 ordered a super sonic breakfast burrito. It came with slimey grilled chicken instead of the sausage it is described with. If they have to use alternative ingredients they should tell the customer.
This Sonic is a joke. They can't take an order without getting it completely wrong and are too incompetent to fix it.
I've gotten terrible service, replete with side eye, every single time I've ever visited the Sonic in Pilot Point off 377. (I gave them 6 separate chances, all 1 week apart.) Fries were soggy, it took 4 times moving to different stalls to get an answer after hitting the button, service with a side-eye when i did get an answer they sounded annoyed, burgers always had fixings I'd asked them not to put on it, drink had ice all 6 times despite requesting no ice, soda was flat 4 times out of 6, and despite always leaving a tip anyways the bad service results were the same all 6 times. I cant imagine anything you could do to make it up at this point. I'd have to have Stockholm syndrome to let you try. It's very difficult to make me leave a bad review, but somehow ya'll managed it. I'll never come back here again. For the record, Sonic is my favorite fast food, and still is; just not THIS sonic. I just don't like the way this location manages its business.
I ordered my food, and asked for ketchup with my order. When I received my order I asked again did y'all put ketchup in the bag and I was told that it was in there, but it was not. I also ordered a chili cheese wrap. When I bit into it there was no chili, so I had to come back and inform them that it wasn't made correctly. They made me another one, this time it was just a sloppy as tortilla filled with chili. The quality was horrible and unacceptable.
Worst sonic I've been to in long time honestly. Been this way for the last year at least. Cold food, missing items, overcooked yet somehow still cold tatter tots and more missing items, all for just $46. What a joke. Will be going to the Aubrey location again from now on.
Staff was not knowledge and rude.Order was wrong when we received it. We were asking a question and she said "ok, your total is...." instead of answering my question, when I tried to ask again, she did not answer. Asked for the manager and was rejected.
The young white lady, I do not know her name. That brought me my order on the outside. Because I order as a Truck Driver and ate on the outside. She was very disrespectful and very rude. And when I told her, I don’t know if she’s having a bad day or what She had a even worse attitude with me and went made up told her manager I’m assuming to tell me to leave because I was harassing her. And threatened me to call the cops on me if I wouldn’t leave. I’m just a Truck Driver trying to get a meal and sit down and let 30 minute go by to go back to work driving 18 Wheeler and I didn’t want any drama or problems so I will threaten to leave by the manager for whatever the young lady went and told her. So I politely left. And this is not the way you run a business. I would never eat there again. No matter how hungry or Evenon any break I would never stop there again.
Food is great, but needing an app for everything is so dumb. This will make me less likely to come to sonic because they use the app for all the deals, if I show up and order let me get the deals.
Order placed at 11:32 pm received at 11:57 pm (24 mins wait for 2 combo and 1 burger) on Saturday night July 5th and we were the only car there. We didn’t receive any fries that suppose to come with the meal and all of our burgers burnt! We can’t eat them at all! I know they close at 12 am but this shouldn’t be the reason to serve us bad and very low quality meal. We paid $31 plus $4 tip and all of the burgers inedible. Very disappointing in Sonic, the people who works there, don’t care about the company they work for or customers anymore. Too bad to see this happening to every Sonic I’ve been to.
Order was completely wrong. Was told they were out of stuff I ordered. They did not offer to fix the order. The chili cheese dog was iced cold and was missing chopped onion and shredded cheese. The burger was ordered with mustard, pickle, and cheese; was given ketchup and cheese only. This isn’t the first time I got a messed up order at this one. The staff is very rude. Everytime anyone I know goes they staff is rude and the order is wrong.
