Hotel ristrutturate e molto pulito. La famiglia proprietaria é gentilissima e molto ospitale. Ci hanno sempre accontentato. Il bar dell' hotel é fornito di bellissime e pregiate bottiglie . E nel ristorante si mangia un' ottima pizza. Gli ingredienti sono freschi e di qualità. Complimenti e grazie del bellissimo soggiorno.

Bellissima esperienza , avevo esaminato le recensioni di questo hotel e del suo ristorante e devo ribadire che, dopo avervi soggiornato non posso che confermare tutto ciò che chi mi ha preceduto ha pubblicato: è veramente da cinque stelle X la pulizia, il confort, il cibo ma soprattutto per la squisita accoglienza di tutta la famiglia che lo gestisce ed il signore che segue il ristorante.Bravi continuate così

It would have been funny to give a low rating, just to avoid being banal. Pino and Mimmo's welcome is worthy of a 5-star hotel. You leave home to go HOME. The raw ingredients in the dishes are excellent and the cleanliness of the hotel is so high that you could eat on the floor. At breakfast, a very affectionate lady serves you and makes sure everything went well. We've been coming here for years every time we visit my aunt :) and we have to go back for the peperone cruscooooo

Personally, the experience was exceptional. The excellent restaurant-pizzeria's quality dishes, a good selection of bottled beers, both commercial and craft, and a well-stocked wine cellar. The bar was well-stocked and functional. The rooms were spotless and well-appointed. The breakfasts were top-notch, with excellent croissants, savory options, quality juices, jams, honey, and freshly baked cakes. What more could I say? Friendliness, warmth, and professionalism? Absolutely! Highly recommended! We'll be back very soon. 💯

My husband and I travel a lot for work and leisure, but this weekend was for relaxation. I have to say this hotel met all our needs. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and the owner made all the difference. Our experience was superb. You should come and stay to understand how wonderful it is to stay here. The village of Stigliano is remarkable and very characteristic. We also toured the other nearby villages, and they were a real discovery. We will definitely return for relaxation because it's a place where you can unwind and, above all, it's very refreshing.

If you're planning a visit to Basilicata, stay at this hotel. Even though it's a 3-star hotel, it deserves 4! Not only is it worth the detour, but I can tell you it's an excellent establishment. The owner's kindness is one of its defining characteristics: I recommend eating at the restaurant; the breakfast is extraordinary, catering to everyone's needs, even those with lactose intolerance. I asked for scrambled eggs, and they were magnificent. The bed is incredibly comfortable, the hotel is quiet, and the cleanliness is excellent. My only regret is that I only stayed one night. I'm sure we'll be back.

Breakfast are rich, love the fresh croissants every morning 😍 Huge benefit is restaurant in ground floor, with a family-like approach with an awesome local cuisine. 👌 Only downside found is the unstable wifi connection in the room. Stayed in September 2024 with my friend Salvatore Bisignano in two generously sized double rooms for single use with splendid views of the Lucanian hills and the center of Stigliano. Kudos to the owners and staff for the cleanliness and quality of the services offered, especially the popular restaurant/pizzeria. The helpfulness and courtesy of the staff are always top notch.

I visited their restaurant today this lunchtime and I was delighted by their gluten free bruschetta as a starter, gluten free seafood pasta and fruit salad. Must say especially recommend for healthy version of Italian food lovers , not much olive oil, no garlic or parsley - you can ask extra as I did, if you want. Very kind waiter.

The Hotel Ristorante Mariano exceeded everything that we could expect. The room had one of the most beautiful views. As soon as you walk into your room, the view of layers and layers of mountains welcomes you. The window has a nice wide area where you can sit and enjoy the view. You need to check out the sunrise from your room if you stay here. Birds chirping in the woods in a quiet town of Stigliano is such a beautiful alarm. You really don't hear any noises here at all. No traffic honking, no motorcycles or engines, no loud music. The town itself does not have too many 'touristy' areas but we really enjoyed the quiet peace which was different from other cities we've been to. This also meant no crowds bumping into your shoulders, no cars passing you in a crazy speed, just a peace. The restaurant wait staff was this gentleman who took a good care of us. He waited patiently for us to use the translator app for the menu and made sure we got everything we needed. While we were waiting for our dish, he also served us with an appetizer that we didn't order which was a free delicious pizza. The lamb steak was our favourite dish. We highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for some quiet time with great service and food.
