Opiniones de Miss Saigon San Francisco
I’ve ordered takeout twice — the smiley face the first time and the little heart this time were both so heartwarming! The food was also very satisfying. And thanks for the complimentary Sprite today, it was such a nice surprise!
Luvved it! The atmosphere and food was great!!!
I love the Beef Pho here. The best I've had in the city. And they take care to write your name and draw a heart or thank you note. Sometimes they'll throw something in free for you. Clearly this place is run by people who care and it shows in the food.
As someone from San Jose, I can say this place is legit. Most phos in San Francisco can be bleh. This place does the classic southern style so authentically and hasn’t sacrificed on quality despite being in tough at times area.
I ordered pho for to-go from here and I said I was sick and they wrote me such a cute note on the box saying “we hope you get better soon. Have a wonderful night!” And wrote my name with a heart ❤️. Literally the sweetest!!!
Delicious Vietnamese pho that comes with all the toppings! The minute you walk in, you can smell the aroma of an authentic Vietnamese restaurant and feel right at home. I ordered a large and it felt like a never ending bowl of pho, and it is so cheap! Amazing portions and a price to match.
My favorite Pho in the city! My wife and I come about once a week. The number 17 Pho Tai is so good I sometimes go into a flow state (trying to get the food in my mouth in such a rhythm that my tongue never goes without) that I forget where I am. It’s meditatively delicious
Really quiet Came in to get take out and the customer service was amazing. Really knowledgeable about the menu and was great with my nut allergy. I ordered a Pho brisket and the broth was delicious l, no need to add any condiments
Service was good it was just two girls making their rounds to everyone. Atmosphere was unique and fun and made me feel like I was in Asia. Food was honestly amazing. Seriously everything was so fresh and all the veggies to put on my pho were too and I loved that part. It’s the little details. I had the chicken pho and a side of fried egg rolls.
This is my top choice for Vietnamese restaurants in SF, especially for pho and spring rolls. The freshness of the vegetables served and the deep flavor of the soup were exceptional. The spring rolls were also pretty much perfect! I could eat here every lunchtime in SF. However, a word of caution: the street nearby can be slightly dangerous, which isn't the restaurant's fault but might affect some visitors' comfort. Despite this, I highly recommend visiting this place for an amazing meal!
A great place for a bowl of warm and savory soup pho. We ordered one w chicken and mixed beef. The chicken meat is tender and fresh, and the beef is yummy too, tho next time will try w just beef slices. The fried spring rolls are crispy and hot. Overall a very satisfying Vn dinner, more authentic than many in Vietnam.
Having tried 4 Vietnamese restaurants here, this one is by far the most authentic one and the best in San Francisco downtown. I think it’s family run business, great service, food and price. Really worth every penny. Highly recommend and I have been there for two times now and will be back for one more time before I leave the city. It is just to too good to miss it.
Tried this place out for a quick dinner recently. They seemed a bit busy with the dinner rush hence I had to sit myself but once that was over it was good. I’ve tried one of their pho and it was great! Menu items were affordable and their location is nearby that if you’re staying anywhere downtown you’d be fine walking!
I’ve gone in person once and ordered it three times. I don’t remember having any complaints regarding the food when I dined in. The first time I ordered Bun Dau Hu Rau Cai for delivery, the broth was great—the perfect amount of spicy and flavorful, but still clean. I noticed, however, that the vegetables tasted soapy—mainly the broccoli and cauliflower. I ordered again two days later because, despite that soapy taste, the broth brought me back. The second time, the broth was completely different. It still tasted clean, but it was clear the only spicy element came from the jalapeños, and it lacked flavor—and again, the vegetables tasted soapy. About five days later (9/6/2025), I ordered it again at the same time of day as the first order—hoping the last experience was a fluke—and once again, the broth was different. This time the broth was more flavorful than the second, but it was a little fishy and just not good. And again, the vegetables tasted soapy. This time, there were sliced, yellow peppers that hadn’t been included in the prior two orders, and those did not taste soapy, but the broccoli, carrots, and I believe the bok choy did. Unfortunately, because the broth is inconsistent but the soapy taste is consistent, I’m not going to keep risking it until something changes. I’m all for washing vegetables, but please use a proper soap made for cleaning produce and rinse the vegetables thoroughly afterward.
We ordered 2 types of spring rolls: pork and shrimp. The wrap on the pork rolls was thicker than expected and the filling mixture didn't have the right meat-to-vegetable ratio. The shrimp rolls were a bit soggy. Vermicelli noodle dish with pork: noodles were the right consistency, but the meat was rubbery. Rice noodle soup: the broth was pretty good and the vegetable/herb sides were very fresh. The bean spouts had a good crunch and the basil and mint leaves were flavorful and washed well. The meatballs were fine, but the pork shreds were again too rubbery. Green papaya salad: The dish was ok. The papaya felt drowned out by the fish sauce that was a bit too sweetened for my taste. Vietnamese coffee: Too bitter despite 25% of the drink being condensed milk.
I ordered shrimp fried rice minus the peas and carrots asked for jalapenos and garlic didn't help at all the rice was stuck together there was no flavor no opinions and I also pay for extra shrimp. This seem like the shrimp were pre-boiled and even after drenching it all in two packets of soy sauce I couldn't even manage to just eat the huge butterfly shrimp because they were so Bland. I doubt leaving the eggs carrots and peas would have revived the flavor any such it's a no return for me
we just ordered their pho and it was delivered tonight, first of all I didn’t even get the 3 drinks I ordered. And then the rice noodles weren’t EVEN COOKED when it was delivered. I know it’s suppose to come cold but that’s not the issue. The noodles were literally HARD. How do you guys even mess up on that???? You’re a whole noodle soup restaurant, that should be the easiest thing you guys cook on the menu.
