The food is amazing! Truly made me feel at home with their fresh cooked food and their handmade tortillas. I had lunch here with my coworkers and I can’t stop raving about it. The Chile verde plate is to die for.

I had been craving a good chile verde or pork rib chile colorado dish for quite sometime. I am very picky when it comes to these. Did a search on yelp and this place showed up. It was near me and highly rated so i gave it a shot. I walked in. The place stunk like a meat market in Mexico but instead of walking out the door it roused my curiosity. I was intrigued. Its a birria spot but the older gentleman behind the register assured me that they have great pork dishes. I ordered the costillas de Puerco (pork spare ribs in red sauce). The order was served with rice, beans, chopped onion & cilantro along with homemade corn tortillas. It was amazing!! The pork was so soft, tender. The spicy level was perfect for me...medium. I did add a little bit of salt to the pork to suit my taste since I eat slightly on the salty side. The tortillas were nice and thick and held up well with big scoops of pork n sauce. The gentleman did suggest the liver n onions,, he said those are really good. I am curious to try everything else on the menu. I will be a customer for life.

Had an order of birria tacos (4 tacos) con consome (birria soup broth). Very delicious dipping the tacos in the broth. The workers there are nice ^^ if you haven’t had homemade tortillas before, I would recommend trying it; definitely different from store bought tortillas, even the “fresh” ones in the refrigerator section. They have it in a styrofoam container, which keeps it hot while you’re eating (don’t burn your hands holding them)!

The food is absolutely delicious and the service is welcoming and friendly. This is the first time I’ve gone and the lady at the front counter was very helpful. Definitely coming back here again.

The folks here are nice, and the prices were reasonable. I ordered their birria tacos. They were extremely fresh(the consommé was extremely hot), also nice and crispy. The only reason why I gave them four stars is because there was an unreasonable amount of oil in the consommé. The amount of oil in my cup of consommé was around an inch thick. There was also a lack of depth in the flavor of the birria and consommé, but that won’t stop me from returning 😀.

The place was clean service was good tortillas handmade real good coffee had a good flavor strong like I like it . However menudo it had a strong smell it tasted horrible I do not recommend menudo at all from this place it was nasty

Unfortunately, the wait was too long, leading to dissatisfaction among my family members, particularly my nephew. The seating arrangement seemed disorganized, with some customers being skipped, highlighting a need for better organization. Additionally, finding parking was extremely difficult, especially on a busy Sunday. If you're in a hurry, I wouldn't recommend this place due to the parking challenges. Although there were numerous staff members, it felt like only a few were attending to most of the tables, contributing to the delay in service. Additionally, I found it challenging to get the attention of the staff for basic requests like another unchilled bottle of water. This further added to the frustration, especially since hydration is important during meals. Despite the wait time issues and parking challenges, I would consider ordering takeout from Birrieria El Taco Solito in the future to enjoy their delicious food without the dining-in delays. The food quality is undoubtedly impressive, but improvements in service efficiency, organization, and parking arrangements would greatly enhance the overall experience for customers.

The place is not clean and service is not great and this is on a Thursday. It should be clean! The birria de res is good, but not great and it's too dark in this place of business. Not my top five.
