The steak and the turkey were delicious, the sides were all great, the place was not crowded and was a delightful lunch overall.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience here this evening. Our server, John, was very attentive and friendly. Our food was very good, and our drinks were always filled.

Service was great. Everything was great will definitely be returning in the future.

We had an AMAZING waitress, Ms. Destiny, at tonight’s dinner. She was very attentive, made great suggestions and truly enjoyed her job! The manager came around to all the tables to check in on everyone’s meal. You could tell he jumped in to help out when needed which is what you like to see. Very positive outing and will be back again!

It's been a long time since I visited this location. A mid afternoon lunch, the sampler was extremely good, and the bourbon street chicken. I had asked if there were changes to this location. The morning manager stated the morning cook is a great cook. Also, try the Margarita with termana.

My friend and I first tine coming and it was good the staff was nice My server Bre was very cool and attentive to us. They were playing some good music (baby making r&b) but all jokes aside will be back for 2 more buckets ocean breeze. That fruit punch was strong lol

The service was fast and great. The drinks and food were delicous. No complaints at all. I personally recommend what I had: the Strawberry Lemonade Quencher, Fiesta Lime Chicken, and Chicken Wonton Tacos (shared appetizer). My wife had the steak and shrimp and the Blue Hawaiian Long Island Ice Tea and loved it!

I just wanted to recognize Alicia. I hope I got her name right. My truck had broken and I was having really bad day and she saw me sitting on the bench outside on a hot early afternoon. She did not know that I was waiting on AAA and they had already given me some water (they had an office right next door). But this young lady brought me a cup of water and a napkin. Who says the kindness is dead. She probably thought I was homeless or something but showed me kindness. I gave her a large tip as that is all i had in cash. My daughter and I saw an ad for the endless boneless wings and immediately decided to look for the nearest Applebees! She ended up getting the kids chicken Alfredo and I got the wings. Everything was amazing. The food was perfect and our server Jaelyn was on point. We didn’t have to ask for a thing. He kept the food and drinks coming and made it an overall great experience. We will be back and definitely asking for him to be our server :)

Ethan makes a GOATED grilled cheese burger, plus there’s $3 zeigenbock, $23.27 for two beers, a grilled cheese burger, a tomato soup for dipping, and fries. Kinda hard to beat when they are open until 2 am. They also have cannabis infused drinks if that’s your thing.

So here’s a crazy cool story…. Stopped by this store on a memory tour with my wife of 20+ for Valentine’s. While sitting that the bar, served by Reagan the afable and couteous bartender, we see the manager sprint through the bar to the parking lot. He chased down a to go customer who was en route to their car with food. I thought, “unpaid scandal or wrong order”, who knows. Turns out the order did not contain a topping item for a side order and he wanted to get it right. Did I mention it was full rainstorm outside. That’s right, quality customer experience was such high priority that for a side topping this guy ran down a customer to make it right before he even knew. Manager John. - I appreciate the faith you filled me and my senior citizen wife with. The world is in good hands with our successors. I learned his name from Reagan who glowed with respect as I inquired. Reagan earns kuddos also, its a good place and a good world with such as these taking over. Amén.

Short staffed so even with am almost empty restaurant or food took forever to come out. Everyone's food tasted good. My only complaint about the food was my burger. Why would you stack 2 tomatoes amd 4 pickles on top of each other and secure them with a tooth pic amd not spread them evenly across the burger? Yes I easily fixed this but why?

I haven’t visited Applebees in years but this experience was mostly great. There was a bit of water on the floor from the A/C vents leaking condensation. I alerted the hostess and she had my waitress place a ‘Wet Floor Sign’ where the water was at. My waitress was great. She was also the bartender. I ordered a Cesar salad, medium well steak topped with shrimp , mashed potatoes & garlic green beans. I also had the dollar rita. Everything was delicious and fresh. My green beans could’ve been a bit more hot but that’s okay. I will be back soon.

It is a typical Applebee's. Went there for lunch. There was only 1 vegetarian food option (other than salad) and that was a beyond burger. It had lettuce, tomato, and pickle and it was good. It would be nice if there were a few more vegetarian choices. Service was great.

Place was empty when I went in only 1 table and a older lady sitting at the bar camped out. 1 server OB was working the whole floor. He was very calm, patient and did a great job! If it wasnt for him, I might have given a 2 star review. Food was ok. Had a 6 Oz sirloin with green beans and mashed potatoes. Green tasted and smelled a bit "fishy" but steak was ok ok. Not expecting too much from Applebee's for a steak. Meal was a priced well $9.99. Next time will try something else and a dessert. Will look for OB again

Applebee's is the prototypical all-American chain restaurant. It's not as popular as it used to be, and that's a shame. If restaurants were the non-Disney amusement parks, it would be Applebee's. You have a wonderful time for affordable prices. No one in their right mind confuses this place with a real fancy restaurant, but it encapsulates "going out to eat" with the family for the vast majority of Americana. The food is above average, the service is highly pleasant, and the atmosphere is nice. The place is affordable but doesn't feel cheap. I always feel like I'm a kid back in the 80s and 90s going to a chain place like this, and perhaps that's intentional. Always a solid place to go celebrate any type of special occasion.

The food is so food, but the service is bad, we were sitting there and our waiter was standing at the entrance of the kitchen talking to another waiter. My husband had to ask if we were going to be attended to and the other waiter came to tell us our waiter will be right with us and still our waiter took all his time. This restaurant is so good but the service is the worst. You need to hire people that are willing to work. Oh abd I forgot to mention their were just two other customers, no reason to delay.

The adult drinks were alright. My family members didn’t really want to finish theirs. Upon getting the food it looked disgusting. The mash potatoes and broccoli was pretty good but the shrimp. Small as heck and I told her I wanted my steak with no pink in it. Not really her fault though. We loved our waitress her name started with a M . We recommend her !

We waited 25 minutes only to get served cold food. The manager was aware of the food being sent out cold but still sent it out. Our waitress Isabelle was good but seemed maybe she needed a little more training.

Service was good but the food was just ok. No issues with cleanliness. Just wish the food tasted a little better. Could have used a little more seasoning but at least there was some salt and pepper at the table. Ordered the Bourbon Chicken and Shrimp. Shrimp was good, chicken was just ok, average at best. The Kiwi lemonade I ordered was more sugar than flavoring. But an ok overall outing.

Haven’t been to an Applebees in years and I remember it being way better than that. Maybe it’s this location. Food was meh and cold nothing great. Service was good. Everything felt sticky and dirty. I’m sad I spent $75 on a place like this. Chilis is 1000% better, skip this one folks.

Saturday after Christmas,lunch. service only in the bar area. I am the caretaker for my father, mother and my special needs sister. When greeted after wait at the door, asking for a table ( which we were told the other area was closed, while we could see customers seated and eating. ) we were seated at a booth... 10 minutes later we're moved to a table in the closed area. The manager served us . They were low or out of several menu items. The spinach and artichoke dip had no artichokes or cheese and could have been spinach soup. The only reason we'll return to this location is due to my sister's special request, as we did at this time. She visits every Noel season, going out to a restaurant is a special treat for for that part of my heart. Our entire family was sadly disappointed, again, with how parochial others can be.

Enjoyed our meal but no luck beer on tap just certain bottles which was a bit disappointing. Also when we asked for the bill the girl brought it over and stood their waiting for us to pay. Just stood right over us...very strange and poor way to treat customers. Anyway food was good apart from the weird ending to our visit.

This Applebee's is a great option if you're looking for fantastically generic food and even less enticing atmosphere. On the night we went we were welcomed with a waft of cigarette smoke from the bar. The poor design means that bar smoke escapes into the entryway. Not at all appreciated. The only reason they didn't get 1 Star is because our servers were friendly and helpful. Unless you have a gift card or something like we did, take your money elsewhere. There are too many other places at this price point to waste your money here.

These are not double battered wings!!! My wife and I love Applebees Double Battered Spicy Asian Wings. I was completley disappointed when we got hone to find the wings had not been battered at all. I don’t normally frequent chain restaurants. Most of them are a little too predictable and unexciting for my tastes, but I am sometimes lured into giving them a go when they have a great deal on food and drink and that is what usually convinces me to head to this Applebee’s, located right next to Interstate 10 in Katy, Texas. I have been visiting this Applebee’s on and off for more than a decade and it has definitely gone downhill during that time. The main issue is that it is simply too ordinary to take seriously and while the restaurant has maintained consistency, other restaurants with more exciting menus and atmospheres have surged ahead. The last time I visited was on a Thursday night and I was shocked at how empty it was during prime dinner hours. It was so empty, in fact, that no one was working the hostess stand. I had to wait for someone to notice me and come over to help. Applebee’s does have good deals on food, like the 2 for 20 dollar entrees and the often very cheap drink specials. These deals are what sometimes convince me to make a return visit. My latest venture here was, as usual, to take advantage of a special food offer and I went here with one of my kids. She ordered a pasta dish and I ordered a burger. Both of us agreed that the food was extremely dull and uninteresting. It wasn’t bad, no, but it wasn’t up to par with other restaurants in the area. This Applebee’s location was less clean than I prefer when I arrived and it was obviously due to the low staffing. The place could really use a little renovation and more interesting things to see and eat. Until that happens, I think I will pass on Applebee’s. There are far better restaurants in the Katy, Texas area.

When I arrived, the manager was busy chatting with the greeter and the person who seats guests, completely ignoring my presence for a good two minutes. After their conversation ended, the manager walked away without so much as an apology for the wait. Once finally seated, it took another six minutes before our waitress came over, which felt unusually slow. Overall, the service was sluggish from start to finish, making the entire dining experience frustrating and far from smooth.

The food wasn't cooked. We had to look for the waitress that were all sitting in a corner talking. The waitress took the food back that wasn't cooked. It was dim and cool.

My experience since last time I went to eat at this exact place been 6 years tried it today to give it another chance we come inside we let the waiter know we are a family of six puts us in a booth but ignores the fact that we have 2 toddlers our main waiter is new I get that he takes our orders brings mine and my wifes reminder he wrote everything down still manages to forget 3 kids meals my meal gets here I ordered a full size rack gives me the plate tells me careful might be hot the plate was warm/cold the ribs look dry like they been sitting for 20 min under the heat lamps I pickup the rib it's hard like I can pick it up sideways and the rib won't come apart took a piece off to taste it it tasted old manager said they don't reheat old food but they do cook the ribs to a point where they can re heat it and serve it but in this case they over cooked it so by the time it got to me it was hard. Ps the waiter is new so I give home that but a little advice don't give new people a table of six of the rip to serve put them with the tables of 2.

Arrived for dinner around 5 30pm, no maitre d was available stood at front for awhile until someone looking at us in a Hoodie decided to speak to us we were then transferred to a booth. Our wait was in excess of 45 mins, appetizer came out and drink order. Asked for a refill from our server and water she never did, we asked someone else and other servers were attending to adjacent tables food was eventually brought it was not to standard and rice was cold and clumpy lz burger was burnt and we never got our drink until we decided to leave. Server also brought the check and we had to ask another server to pay. Truly appaling service.

I wasn't able to order what I wanted bc for some unknown reason, you could only order fried food. We ordered a burgers, medium rare and both received burnt meat. The meal was jusr OK. Then I was charged a little over 2x what I should have been & was told I had to talk with the manager who was the bartender for a correction. He was really confused on how to handle the situation. I suggested he just void or refund the transaction and he can then charge it again for correct $ or I'll could just pay in cash, since he didn't know how to do a partial refund. He said ok but then it became evident he didn't know how to do that either. He ended up writing the info down on y recipt & told me he will make sure i get refunded that night. Its been 2 weeks and still no credit to my account. Ive card and left messages eith no call back. As for the atmosphere, it was dead. One man / customer at the bar and that's it. Yet the TV was on loud which was very annoying. Honestly, we were anxious to leave. I dont think all Applebee's are like this though. We usually go to the one in sugar land with no issues.

Mostly, the server is slow and didn't indicate that the one side was considered an appetizer. Why in the hell are pickle fries or something like pretzel sticks $11.00? The server should of told us that. The regular fries were ask to exchange for the pickle fries. The servicer had us waiting for about 15 minutes just for the pretzels. When I had the manager come over, right away he wanted confrontation. I was like why didn't the server tell us about the pickle fries. He went on about it being a full size. I didn't want to argue more, so I said just give me the check. He actually said, " I don't want you snatching anything out of my hand"! Wasn't even my intention. It looks like he was ready for battle from the get go! Grilled cheese cheese burger, those pickle fries and regular fries as well, mushroom Swiss burger with mashed potatoes, 2 drinks.... $58. NEVER AGAIN! APPLEBEE'S IS HEADED FOR A FALL! Oh, why does the AC have to be on all the time?

The food was very mid. The bartender triple sat my server without taking any tables and every time he walked by he smelled DISGUSTING. The bartender seriously needs to get his hygiene under control. Got the closing bartender on Friday the 13 white girl green hair absolutely the worst service I’ve ever received in my life and the food was horrid. I am very upset with my experience here last night. There was a bug in my drink. I informed the manager of the situation and she said that all she could do is "give me another one." Found a coupon and wanted to try it out. Came into establishment and was hit with smoke. SMOKING IS ALLOWED AT BAR! WTF! I then asked host to place my colleagues and I far from the bar area. Well, I guess today was comedy night because she placed us on the other side of the bar window. Lady, what did I just say? She then moved us. Next, we thought we would try out some of the drink specials that were near front door and you will never believe that this chic asked us for ID. Now I'm in my thirties, my colleagues are pushing 50 and 70 and this lady couldn't be serious! We asked for manager! She came over, apologized and stated that it was TABC policy and we might be "Secret Shoppers" I wasn't about to go to car for license! I believe that rule should be for young adults not elders! The food was ok! I wasn't able to eat because we never received silverware. But when I asked for a to go box, I was given silverware to take home... This was not a great experience. I will not be back to Apple Bees.

I don’t like leaving bad reviews because I know it can damage a company but this location is by far one of the worst. The young man serving my table appeared to make some type of effort for concern but it boiled down to overall crappy service. I ordered cheeseburgers for my kids and salmon for myself after waiting about 30 minutes. Kids food came out about 40 minutes later but mine never came out. Manager compensated our order but my food never came so that was no help. After waiting an additional 47 minutes for my simple meal, seeing 2 more families come and be served, I gave up. By the time I was ready to walk out the 2 tables that had just came we’re already getting drinks and appetizers. It took them almost an hour to let me know they didn’t have the drink I ordered. Overall it was horrible. They blamed it on needing another server but if you already too my order and over an hour had passed with no food then there’s a different problem.

Second- it was dos XX on sale on Friday ( 4 dollars a bottle ) I found out that he charged me the whole price only when I got home. Nonalchoholic beer is gone ( for already 2 weeks in a row ) beer machine is broken, my steak was previously frozen and over cooked, I can keep going on that . In short- you cant compete even with McDonalds on this particular location- tables are dirty, waiters dont pay attention to you but you still expect at least 18% tip . just so you know ( and that applies to your all management ) you dont even have people in this location anymore because people figured out that your service and food on the level of Third wo....Developing country . Thank you. It was last time I ever (!) used Applebee's restaurant in my life, I was your client for 15 years , now you have destroyed all good things which I have felt towards you.

Went there last night for dinner. I would rate 0 stars or even lower if there was an option for their service. Slowest service there can be since restaurant industry began. I'm still waiting on those chips my kids and I ordered, after reminding the waitress 4 times. The place was only half occupied and they were super backed up on their orders in the kitchen that they had to announce all customers to be patient. Once we got our food, it was cold, tasteless and seemed stale. The person at the front desk was our first sign to turn away which we failed to notice. Secondly the waitress that took 20mins to take our drink and food order, by that time I was already searching for other restaurants around me. Every waiter there seemed to work at their own pace not respecting customer's time. I would never walk away without tipping however poor service and quality of food they may have, but this place is an exception. I would drive past this place in a heartbeat next time. Neither they deserve my business nor they care. Save your dollars for other deserving place. NEVER AGAIN!!

I don’t recommend anyone eating in here Applebee’s in Katy I-10. We came here cause my son wanted to try the Cheetos wings turns out they are out of those, I asked for cheese bites and they were out of the spicy kind, besides that I noticed 2 things #1. Tables were empty which should have been a red flag for me but I decided to stay. #2. Employees talking a lot I guess cause is not that busy maybe. After all I think this place needs a very good attention, manager is not doing a good job at all. Only good thing was the soda we order.

Food was soggy and hot, clear signs that they microwave the food. The food also did not come as we asked. The service was mediocre with the waitress taking long when asked for assistance. Would not recommend this place. Chilis easily wins. Don’t go here trying to save money because you’ll see why it’s empty.

I ordered a steak (medium done) it was almost burned... tables were filthy... fries were dry (old) the staff never smiled... It was my first time at Applebee’s ever and I didn’t enjoyed at all... made me really sad! I wouldn’t recommend the place!

Walked in and waited to be seated, but no host ever came. Sat at the bar and was ignored by the bartender for several minutes; when I finally asked for a menu, he walked away and never returned. The bar area also smelled unpleasant and felt dirty and dingy. I left without ordering and won’t be back.

My brother ordered a steak from the 2 for 25 deal I believe and the steak was not cooked all the way ND my brother told them to cook it well done and they took it back and it wasnt cooked all the way when they came back with it the other side wasnt cooked Right either so I would like for a manger to get in contact with me cause I expect something to be done and it's wasnt busy for the food not to be cooked right my brother left the whole steak there and barely ate it.

Absolutely terrible experience. Went in waited for 15 minutes and no server. Had the hostess take our order, waited another 25 minutes and still didn't even have drinks. 40 minutes wasted. Worst service I have ever experienced. This is an awful restaurant!

I’m absolutely disappointed this food had old fries and over cooked chicken. The chicken was dry and tasted nasty like the chicken had been frozen for a long time. I drove 36 minutes to try the unlimited wings and I couldn’t eat only ate one before i stopped. Never coming back for my first time here

The opportunity to leave presented itself as soon as we walked through the door. The hostess didn't know if they were open or not, as the chairs were still on top of the tables.

Went there today (3/14/2024) with my girls and we had to wait almost an hour for our food. I ordered a steak medium rare and the steak came out well done basically all the way cooked. I told the waitress about it and she sent it back but put in a whole new order of the same one I asked for and again had to wait about 30 minutes for that. She comes to our table to give me the tablet so I could pay for my bill then asks if I want her to bag up my food. I told her yes cause my kids were getting restless waiting the whole time for our food. Also to add my daughter got broccoli in her food when she asked for no broccoli. The place was not packed so I don’t know why the food took a long time to come out. I didn’t take a look at the second steak since she bagged it up and that one too is cooked all the way and isn’t medium rare like I asked. I got home and went to eat it and noticed it wasn’t how I asked.

Service was horrible took them 20mins to acknowledge my family they didn’t have a lot of things on the menu couldn’t substitute items on the menu hair was in my food the worst Applebees ever

Can I give negative stars? Megan was our server and took forever, we ordered drinks and they never came out. We even told her three times and still nothing. We got the spinach and artichoke dip and the chips were burnt and covered in salt. The BBQ brisket tacos were disgusting. We waited 30 mins for our check and she double charged us which took another 20 mins to fix. They are so desperate for 5-star ratings, they will even give you a free brownie for one. The place was empty and we could have walked out and no one would notice, that’s shows how much our server actually paid attention to us.

I went there to have a late and nice dinner with my wife at 9:20 pm, and we didn't finish and leave until 11:15pm! The place was not busy at all, yet it took forever to take our request. Eventually, I had to ask the hostess to call our waiter to take our order. I saw other table sit after us eat and get their check while we waited for our food to come. The food itself was OK nothing special, had a cheese burger and my wife fiesta chicken. Then, it took 25 minutes to request the bill and pay it. At that point I just wanted to pay for the food and get the hell out. It took us almost 2 hours just to eat a simple meal. Never going there again.

Waited at least 5 minutes at hostess stand, was not acknowledged by anyone that worked there. Do better. I worked restaurant industry for 15 years. A simple smile and hello, I'll be right there, goes a long way. You lost my business forever.

We came for Dinner a few nights ago and ordered the 2 for 25 meal. Broccoli chicken Alfredo and the new Chicken Parm. After waiting over an hour, our food came house. The broccoli was missing on the broccoli chicken Alfredo and the noodles were ice cold and the chicken burning hot. The chicken parm had no cheese on it and the noodles were dried as if the whole plate was put in the microwave. Honestly, all of this wouldn’t have been a huge deal if we could’ve gotten it right with the food. When we asked to see a manager, we were instead told by a different waitress that we had to leave and that we couldn’t take our food. We were told by the waitress that there was a new cook and there was a lot of drama going on in the kitchen. We thought it was very disrespectful that manager had to send someone else out to talk to us and made us leave as if we were the problem. We go to this Applebees often(mostly at lunch with our kids) and service is usually pretty good, but they fell way off the ball on this one

I just spent 100 . On dinner. And nothing was good. Only the appetizers.. Steak was taken back cuz it wasn't well done. Brought only half a side was well done the rest was red. That stayed on table. I ordered a 3 cheese Penne. And got water w noodles. Salt or pepper couldn't fix that. And a cold hard breadstick. The waitress was sweet. Plus it's not her fault the kitchen can't cook. I will not be coming back. I don't know how this place stays in business Food is horrid.. And they take forever.. And we still tipped out of common courtesy.

Service was terrible. Lady came to a drink order disappeared for 20 minutes after took our order but did not write it down. We ordered five dinners three appetizers. We received two dinners and two appetizers. One hour later She said she was sorry Order that mixed up she’ll make another one. Came back in 30 minutes after saying that orders got messed up they’ll get right on. It came back 40 minutes later said sorry didn’t even started on it. Do you want me just cancel your order we also asked for plastic utensils and she charged for them. I feel that she was prejudice. Our waitress was a large white lady.

This whole review is only to complain about my waitress only (I eish I remembertheir name so I could name drop). The restaurant was the least crowded I could ever imagine for a friday night. No wait at the door but it took our waitress 20 min just to come and ask us about drinks, and another 20 minutes for an appetizer. If I had smaller bills I would have dropped 15 bucks on the table and left. Now the good part after an hour of wating for the food we ordered 20 minutes into our stay I ask for the bill to pay and leave with no entrees and our food is magically done. I was so ready to get out of there at this time that I paid for it all and left with everything in to go boxes. Im not one to make a fuss outloud but having to pay for cold food that took an hour to get is a wonderful experience.

Our food came out cold. We asked for our dessert to be taken back and remade because the ice cream was melted and the cake was cold. We were told there was a “language barrier” with the cooks. When they brought the dessert back out the ice cream was completely melted and the cake still cold. They didn’t bother removing the dessert from our bill even though we didn’t eat it. It also appeared that they turned away everyone coming in the front door due to laziness because the restaurant was empty. Poor food quality and service.

When we waked in, the hostess didn't know if they were open or not, almost an hour after posted opening time. Chairs were still stacked on the tables. The waitresses didn't seem all that interested in serving us. One took my wife's water glass to refill it, then forgot to bring it back. After placing our order, we noticed people around us getting their food, and we were the first to arrive by a good 15 minutes. Eventually one of the waitresses came to tell us that the manager had to go get a sauce for the chicken parmesan fettuccine. Instead of waiting even longer, my wife decided to have what I had ordered, the grilled cheese hamburger. Bad move. Both meals were bland, and not very hot. All in all, not an experience we are likely to repeat. Too many other places to go!

Haven't been to Applebee's in a very long time. It was a Saturday night. My family and I went out to eat at this particular location. I believe there might have only been one server working at that moment, which is fine. I understand. Her service was great. She was very very nice. We ordered our food and it was taking quite a bit, about 20-30 mins. My son received his food first and we were still waiting for ours. I continued to break up my son's food for him to eat, however the corndog was ice cold and the outside was crunchy as if it was done. Unfortunately, all my trust was gone since the food that was served was not cooked completely. The manager, sweet man, tried to make it right and stated he would sit for the 6 minutes and 52 seconds that it takes to actually cook the corndog, but again, my trust was lost. It was stated that the corndog could be taken off the meal ticket. We wanted to leave and since we did not receive any more food that we ordered, so we proceeded to leave since we did not receive anything else prior to my child's corndog order and made it clear that we were going to leave without the rest of the food coming out. We were followed out by the manager shortly after and was asked about the remaining food on our ticket. The manager asked about the rest of the food and our ticket, but since we did not receive anything and the wait was longer than expected, we decided to leave. I believe he wanted us to pay for the remaining food that was on our ticket, however, nothing came out besides our waters and my child's food. I hope to give Applebee's another chance later down the road, but this time was a bit odd to say the least.

The food wasn't good at all, I got the chicken Parm/ fettuccine pasta, the noodles were overcooked and mushy, sauce was watered down, my wife got a cheese burger that didn't have much taste either, had a very sweet sauce all over it that dominated the taste, and for the the appetizer we got spinach artichoke dip that was very bland, the top was hot and the center was cold, I guess they microwaved it and didn't stir it. We went during dinner time and was dead, no business at all, we should've turned around and left at that point but we were hungry. We were very unsatisfied to say the least.

I would not recommend this place. We sat at the bar, waited about an hour to get our food. Another guy walked in and sat down and was served the same dish I ordered way before ours came out. When our food arrived, 15 min later, my friend did not get what he ordered. We decided to just go ahead and eat. When The bartender finally came back we ordered drinks, my friend got his iced tea and I never got mine. The service was at best incredibly bad. I ordered the bourbon chicken, shrimp had no flavor, there was supposed to be mushrooms, I only found 1 little sliver and the chicken was dry. For a restaurant that only had 2 tables to wait on when we were there, the service should have been way better than it was. This is one place I will not come back to.

This was an absolutely wretched experience. We hadn't been to an Applebee's in some time thanks to a poor experience, but we decided to give it a try again. That was a mistake. Firstly though, let me say the hostess was great. Friendly, amenable, and willing to help. Thanks to her, after we had sat for 15 minutes waiting for someone to even come take our drink order ( please note it was a slow Wednesday evening ) -she- went back to fetch our waiter. He proceeded to lie and say he had been stuck in the back. The truth was, we had seen him dealing with another table multiple times while we sat there. Now... we were willing to give him the benefit of the doubt that he hadn't known we were his table, but the blatant lie was bad. After we finally order our drinks and an appetizer (pictured) its another good 10 minutes before someone (who I can only imagine was the manager) brings out our appetizer and asks if we're doing okay. My wife makes it clear that we're not enjoying our visit but just asks if we can have the drinks we ordered. He goes off to the back and after another 5 minutes or so the waiter comes back with the drinks finally and then launches into their charity speech. They were doing something like 'buy a vet a beer'. Normally totally okay with this sort of thing, but maybe not when it took 30 minutes to get our drinks. The whole thing just felt awkward and forced and like he didn't want to be there. He then promptly leaves without taking our meal order. We wait another 10 or so and then decide its time to go. When he finally arrived, not to ask us what we wanted to eat, but to see if my kiddo wanted another shirly temple, we asked for the check, paid, and left. He got a tip, but not anything like we normally tip. Other notes: The Food. We never tried anything but the appetizer and while it was warm, it was not good. Not sure if thats normal for that dish, but my kid who loves spinach dip wouldn't touch it after the first bite. The Manager. I might be wrong and maybe he was a different waiter who was helping out and never seen again, but I doubt it. But of that was the manager... he knew we were unhappy with the service and clearly could not find a care in his body to care about our experience. Even when we were obviously upset and leaving early, there was zero effort on either of their parts to try and salvage any sort of customer experience. If not for our hostess, it would have been easily the worst dining experience I have had in over 15 years. 0/10, won't be going to Applebee's again.
