The meal was perfect. Great taste, big portions, and a very cozy environment. The service was exceptional today.
This place is really good, they serve Texas style dishes and you can choose from a lot of options for your meal. The alcohol selection can be better. The waitress was really helpful and suggested some good dishes for us to try. Overall I recommend this place for a drink and a good Texas style steak.
Food was good and at a nice price. I will be back! Customer service was also pleasant.
Great food, excellent service! Steak and shrimp cooked perfectly! Thank you Melissa for such care and attention! Amazing!
Despite a 30-minute wait during the dinner rush, Texas Roadhouse proved to be a savoury haven that exceeded expectations. Once seated, the swift service was a pleasant surprise as our orders arrived promptly. Opting for the ribs was a great decision, the perfect balance of tenderness and flavour. The portions are big, but its a good excuse to share different dishes. The accompaniment of bread with cinnamon butter was a sweet treat. The restaurant's rustic aesthetic provided a cozy evening, enhancing the charm of the place. I recommend this place for those craving a delicious barbecue experience. 😋
We have always had the best food and service at Texas Roadhouse (except for one incident in the upper Midwest), but the food was awesome there also. I posted earlier today about the experience we had at the restaurant in Katy and expressed a concern about the percent tip that they calculated. I deleted the post shortly after because I read it again and the tip was calculated before any discount so it was all good. Awesome customer service, awesome food, they are the best!!
If you are here Thursday, Friday, or Sunday make sure you sit with Stanisha. By far one of the BEST service experience to date! For it being church lunch rush, we never waited for anything and every need was met. Thank you so much.
I just can’t say enough about the amazing bread rolls served with the table. Do your best to pace yourself with these though because the entrees are delicious too. I enjoyed the flavorful portobello mushroom chicken with my selected side of green beans and mashed potatoes. Special mention about the wonderful and friendly service also.
I went there today and had an amazing lunch. I received a free Onion Blossom and it was hot and delicious, so good. The BBQ Chicken was really good. Their made-from-scratch sides and their hot rolls are the bomb! So good they melt in your mouth. For all you beer lovers, not to worry, they have that too. You must visit Texas Roadhouse to see the staff do their line-dancing, it's really cool to watch them boogie to the music! The waiters and waitress' are on top of their game when serving the customers. If you want good food, good fun and good entertainment Texas Roadhouse is the place to go. See ya'll there Partners!
The best steak in town! Friendly service and delicious home baked bread. Wonderful margaritas... Update Dec. 30, 2020 So sad that I'm writing this... I went to the restaurant with my family and didn't stay to eat. The restaurant was FULL! We didn't feel it was safe to stay. Ordered to go. April 21, 2023 As always, excellent food and service. For steaks...the best restaurant in Texas!
Love this place wasn't over crowded, waited 5 minutes before being seated. Our server William was very tentative to our needs. Food was awesome and didn't take long to receive. Place was a little chili for a cool day but otherwise it was amazing. There is a bar for people to sit at. Regular tables and booths. Can reserve up to a party of 11. There are handicap spots and they accommodate for wheelchairs.
My husband and I split a 20 oz. T-Bone steak. We ordered it medium. This came with two vegetables. I ordered a baked potato and green beans. My husband ordered a side salad and a baked potato. Of course those piping hot rolls with honey butter arrived with his salad. Oh they are heavenly, melt in your mouth good. Our steak arrived and it was perfect, juicy and full of flavor! We had plenty of tea refills and one of their angelic servers came out with more fresh hot rolls. Our servers did some fancy line dancing too. Texas Roadhouse is a fun dining experience. We highly recommend this location. It wasn't our first visit and it won't be our last!
I placed a Togo order and picked it up via curbside from beginning to end. Everything went smoothly, and I had a great experience. The person who brought my food was nice. I did have a question after he left, so I saw a different employee named DIEGO, and he assisted me and went above and beyond to make us even happier with everything. DIEGO rules!! Thank you for being so kind and awesome, and thanks to chefs and everyone else there who makes our nights better. Our food was delicious and cooked to perfection! This was my first time at this location, and i will be back.
Austen was an amazing server. He was quick, efficient and an absolute gem to talk to. He brought the right vibes to the table and even engaged in a short teasing conversation. We love coming to Texas Roadhouse because they always have such amazing people working.
It's great as usual Be aware if you're going especially on a Sunday, it WILL be packed. So don't go super hungry. And if you're ordering to go, there's a bit of a wait but nothing extreme. I usually do to-go bc I'm a sucker for the 🍞 🤤 but the few times I've been inside (at this location) zero complaints. I do miss the pre-covid days of peanut shells littering the waiting area.
me and my friends were here last night and we were served by liam and he was so nice and funny and he got hs everything we needed even when asked for too much so basically GIVE THAT MAN A RAISE🗣️
Great food and service. I went at 4 PM right at the time of opening. I was seated right away. I didn't really like their drinks. The steaks were great!
Busy Sunday didn’t slow down The Roadhouse ! Service was excellent and we were taken cared of for the entire time. We did not have to wait to long with their online waiting list. Just had to call or used the app to get things set up. Food was good I got the chicken tenders with a loaded potato and Mac and cheese. My significant other got the chicken friend chicken with gravy! All so good. The rolls as usual was key to the dinning experience. I’ll be back!
Food is amazing, waiters and staff are always so welcoming and service is fast. Beware of popular dates like valentines, Father’s Day Ect. Parking is a nightmare those days and waiting is sometimes up to 2 hours. So worth it!
Need to shout out Angela (hope I spelt her name right). She was attentive, helpful to the people around her, knew the menu inside and out, and had a great customer service smile. Would highly recommend coming to this location for the speed and food, even if the wait times could be long; but hey if a wait time is long then it must mean it’s a great place to eat!
I was here yesterday with my family and i could already tell it was a busy night. We got seated in about 45 minutes and were immediately greeted by our waitress Valerie. She was really professional and made sure we were doing okay every few moments. The food was delicious and i will definitely come back again.
Order Number: 39520634304561152 5 Starts to Cristian who was working the curbside pickups 11/13! He was awesome. Customer service was top tier and his work ethic was excellent. I ordered the Rib Family Meal & it was delicious. It was still nice & warm when I made it back home. Everything was correct. Again thank you to Cristian!
My wife and I ate dinner here at one of our favorite restaurants. I had the hamburger steak topped with grilled onions and grilled mushrooms along with a house salad and baked potato. My wife had the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and cream gravy along with a house salad. My wife also enjoyed a delicious mixed drink.
I give it 5 starts because I love the food in Texas Roadhouse, but please stop putting the small container inside the food in the to go container. Usually Texas roadhouse puts the small side container inside the big container next to the chicken or steak and I feel this is not healthy. Hopefully this stops soon. Thank you!
Ordered food to go from Texas Roadhouse. I had ribs, a house salad (added bacon), and a loaded sweet potato. I enjoyed every bite. I used curb side and it took less than 5 mins for someone to arrive with my food after I noticed them that I was there.
“Unforgettable Dining Experience with Amazing Service!” 1/1/2025 Texas Roadhouse in Katy exceeded all my expectations! From the moment we walked in, the lively atmosphere and warm welcome set the tone for a great evening. The food was, as always, incredible—my steak was cooked to perfection, juicy and tender, and the sides were fresh and flavorful. And of course, the famous rolls with cinnamon butter were heavenly and impossible to resist! What truly made the experience stand out, though, was our server, Nataly. She was an absolute gem—so kind, attentive, and efficient. Nataly had a natural way of making everyone at the table feel cared for, always anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. Her quick service and genuine smile added a personal touch that elevated the entire evening. On top of that, she carried herself with such a positive and professional attitude, and her charm and friendliness made her stand out even more (not to mention, she’s very cute!). Even though the restaurant was busy, we never felt rushed or neglected, which speaks volumes about how well the staff handles things. Overall, Texas Roadhouse in Katy is the perfect spot for amazing food, a fun atmosphere, and exceptional service. A huge thanks to Nataly for making our visit truly special. I’ll definitely be back soon and hope to see her again. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience!
Texas Roadhouse is legendary for a reason! I was there around 6:15 PM and the atmosphere was awesome! You HAVE to try the rolls with the cinnamon butter—seriously, I’ve never had anything this good anywhere else. The prime rib was also 10/10, super tender and juicy. What really impressed me was the staff. It was pretty busy, and there was a little mix-up with one of our orders. Even though we had finished our meal, our server was so kind—he had the order packed to-go for us and didn't even charge us for it. I was so touched by how they handle things. Great food and even better service. Highly recommended!
The Food was sooooo Delicious and Delightful!! Came for my anniversary and it was a great vibe. Steak was 5 Stars!! Shrimp appetizer was Soooooo tasty!!! Shirley Temple and Margarita was the taste I needed to Relax and Vibe.
Always a great dinning experience. Staff is friendly and fast. Food is always great. Ofcourse our favorite part are the rolls and cinnamon butter.
Great place to go with the family. Great service and very good meals. The place is efficient, clean and offers great steaks. The bread is very good and you can enjoy peanuts while waiting for your table, which is great.
I visited Texas Roadhouse recently and had a great experience. I come to this location maybe once or twice a week and I’ve noticed a few new faces working there, and one of them really stood out. My waiter Simon was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure everything at our table was perfect from start to finish. He checked in at the right times, kept our drinks filled, and had a great attitude the entire night. Service like that really makes a difference when you’re out to eat. Because of Simon, the whole experience felt welcoming and enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I’d love to have Simon as my waiter again next time!
Love this place, it's hard to please all 4 kids with just one place but with the roadhouse that isn't an issue. The cost of beef has gone up so you almost can't buy a good steak to cook at home for what you pay for one here. We always leave feeling like we were satisfied and got a great deal and ohh yeah rolls and cinnamon butter. Nuff said
Really excellent food. We eat here 3x a week since they opened. Service is typically pretty good. You always leave full --but definitely have noticed a reduction in the amount they serve in side dishes, like mashed potatoes, side salads, and mushrooms.
Texas Roadhouse is an absolute gem! From the moment you step in, the lively Texan vibe sweeps you away to the heart of the South. The food is outstanding—juicy, perfectly cooked cuts like ribeye and sirloin steal the show, while the fall-off-the-bone BBQ ribs are packed with flavor. Sides like creamy mashed potatoes with gravy and ranch-style beans are the perfect complement. Don’t miss the warm rolls with cinnamon butter—a heavenly treat! The service is top-notch; the staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel right at home. The rustic decor and country music create an inviting atmosphere, and the line-dancing servers add a fun, unique touch. The value for money is fantastic, with generous portions that leave you satisfied. Whether it’s a family outing, a night with friends, or a casual date, Texas Roadhouse delivers. Oh, and the free peanuts while you wait? A delightful bonus! This place is a must-visit, and I’ll definitely be back for more! Highly recommended!
Try this place for the first time and it was delish! Gina took care of us at the bar since it was busy. We try different things and I have to say the chili was amazing specially with those rolls we had. The country fried chicken was amazing too! Highly recommend. The mozzarella sticks and boneless wings were amazing as well.
Had a great experience and meal. Our waiter Angel was very attentive and friendly. We started with the potato skin appetizer, it was one of the best potato skins I have had. Had the sirloin steak with mixed vegetables. The steak was cooked perfectly and the vegetables were good. The iconic rolls were golden and fluffy. Highly recommend going to eat here.
We were at the Texas Roadhouse this week, it's a steakhouse in the Katy/Houston area. It was a Tuesday night so it was crowded but we only had to wait for 10 minutes. The atmosphere was great, everyone had smiles on their faces and seemed to be enjoying themselves. First, we were served freshly baked bread and butter. We ordered a Cactus Blossom, and it was a huge golden onion with delicious dipping sauce. For our main course, we all got a New York strip steak. The steak was perfect: delicious, and so tender. We had a great time, and the service was good. We'll definitely be back.
We've never had a bad experience at Texas Roadhouse. Everything from the food, ambience, and service has always been phenomenal! We had Bianca as our server today and she did an outstanding job! Her friendly demeanor and attentiveness was very much appreciated 😁 You really can't go wrong with the menu. We've already tried multiple items and have yet to find one that we didn't like. With that being said, we highly recommend trying the following items: Ft. Worth Ribeye, New York Strip, Half-rack ribs, and loaded baked potatoes. We'll probably be back in a few weeks. Can't wait to try out the rest of the menu 😋

The best rolls upon sitting down. Tasty food at a great value. Favorites include chicken fried chicken, salads, and appetizers.
The Texas Roadhouse if you're eating after 9:00 over the weekend they stay open until 11:00pm. \nIt's a country come as you are kind of atmosphere.\nThey're very busy and have a 20 minute wait but …
The steak discount they have is really great for the price and it still includes tasty sides, but unfortunately I got sick after the last time that I ate at this Texas Roadhouse! I really want to come back and enjoy the discount but I’m pretty scared of getting sick again. I don’t know if I took too big of a risk by asking for medium rare but the price is really too good.
TRH never disappoints, came here on a Thursday night, place was packed, but we were seated within 15 mins, Sebastian was great, checked on us regularly and the manager Christina came by multiple times as well, food was great as always and ton of people celebrate special occasion here. You simply can not go wrong witg this place.
First time trying this restaurant after living close to the area for 20+ yrs. The parking lot gets packed so come early though the restaurant opens @ 4pm on weekdays. We got there after 430pm and there were already people dining. Most of the spaces were booth but larger parties will be seated at a table. We were promptly seated at a booth and provided bread and whipped cinnamon butter. The bread was so warm, soft and pillowy I could have eaten the entire basket of 4 rolls on my own. The family ordered potato skins for appetizer. It came in 8 slices topped with melted cheddar cheese and bacon pieces with a ranch or sour cream as dipping sauce. We enjoyed the app. For entree I ordered the Prime Rib with loaded baked potato and house salad with ranch dressing. The prime rib was tender but the way it was cooked was very different in comparison to other steak houses that I have dined at. Maybe it was the seasoning or the way it was cooked but I couldn't describe it. Hubby ordered bone in ribeye with plain baked potato and salad. He liked his steak medium but it appeared that the steak was cooked well-done. I tried his ribeye and some part was tender and other part was chewy. He thought the steak needed more seasoning. Son ordered the porterhouse with green beans and loaded mashed potato. He enjoyed his steak and believed the porterhouse was served thicker cut than other steak houses. Overall service was friendly but when we asked another waiter for a small lid to go to cover our dipping sauce for our leftover steak, he had another person to come to the table and we told her what we needed....and when another server brought our food hubby asked for more butter for his baked potato. She never returned and we had to ask our waitress for it when she checked in on us. If you understand what I am trying to point out then no need to say more....
We went for our son's 18 birthday with about 20 people. Good food and good service although they cannot seat more than a certain amount together so make sure you tell them accurately how many to make your experience a good one!
I will forever love the steakhouse filet salad from Texas Roadhouse. The staff at this location was good. Our server was pleasant & attentive. The only complaint was the wait it took to get our food. It was about 45 minutes which I thought was long for a salad. However, it was ok as we went at 7pm on a Wednesday.
Very popular spot, better to reserve before going, you need to know that when the message your phone you have to check back again with the desk, otherwise like me, when you see people that got there after you being called, then the girl tells you, oh you needed to check back in again. Apart from that, nice place for an evening date with the family.
Foods was good, service was slow. Our server chit chat among behind us at server stations. Food was came out 1st then the appetizer. I mean we've been regular in this location, bc my sons loves the foods so maybe can do better on training the server to be attentive to their sections?
TX staple. Service and atmosphere: Because this is popular chain expect to wait around 1.5 h for a table. The restaurant is big and can accommodate many guests and there is plenty of parking spaces but they fill up fast. Service was friendly and swift. Food and drinks: Good effort on the steak side. Many options to choose from and try. My steak was prepared as requested and I enjoyed seasoning on it. Two sides that came with it were good too. The restaurant has full bar so you can order your favourite beverage. Pricing: $$ - probably cheaper prices then in other comparable chains.

Don’t even bother calling, as you won’t be able to reach anyone. I placed a to-go order, picked it up, and went home confident everything was in the bag. Once I got home, I realized my rice was missing. I tried calling the restaurant around 11:55 AM, but the phone line indicated the restaurant was closed. I drove back to the restaurant, and at 12:18 PM—while waiting for my rice—I called again to see if the phone would ring. It did not, and the automated message still stated that the restaurant was closed. Please update your phone line.
My boyfriend and I come here often, maybe twice a month. We’ve never had any problem with the staff or food, but I do have one complaint from this past Monday. We came in for dinner around 8pm and I understand that it can get really busy, but the table we were sitting at was honestly really gross.. trash was all over the floor under the table, as well as our drink menu. The table itself didn’t even look like it had been wiped down completely, and the booth seats had greasy hand marks all over them. I politely asked our waitress if she could get someone to wipe it down really quick and she said she would send someone over soon, but no one ever came to wipe it down. I ended up sitting on the same side of the booth as my boyfriend because his side was a bit cleaner. Overall, even though we liked the food, it was hard to enjoy the atmosphere because everything just felt dirty.
Nice restaurant, excellent staff, good food served in timely manner. Missing a vibe that I can’t put my finger on… maybe it’s just that it felt rushed coming in on a busy lunch hour on Saturday. After looking at my pictures I realize what it was… it was too dark in there on a beautiful day.
Don't know if it was because it is valentines weekend or what. But my son ordered a steak medium well and it came hard and dry. I had the smothered chicken and I think it had a half slice a cheese. ( nothing smothered about it.) Our empty plates and glasses where piling up they usually start taking them after every serving. We were running out of space at out table. Hope it gets better.
Not sure what could be said that hasn't already been said. My wife and I have come here a dozen times in the past couple years, and every time the food and service are amazing. The wait times aren't bad, if you get on the wait-list ahead of time, and go later in the evening or on a weekday. Overall, a great example of a good Texas Roadhouse franchise that always has fresh bread, even close to closing time. One complaint is that the boneless wings are often cold, and they don't do anything special for birthdays aside from bringing out a saddle for fun pictures.
I love the food here because it’s been good every time I’ve come! The service is usually exceptional, but tonight very disappointed! Caitlyn, the hostess, was very rude when I tried to confirm the wait time. She made no eye contact and was very snooty with the response when I tried to confirm. This is unacceptable in the restaurant business and I believe she needs a little training. I would hate for anyone to have this as their first experience ♥️
I've been here several times. This time I used my veterans day voucher. The food was ok nothing special. It was free. 🤷🏾♀️ I had to send my steak back but the second one was ok.
Ok, don't get me wrong.... food is good but I thought it would be amazing since the waiting list was for about an hour. Anyway, unfortunately the service wasn't even close to good, young employees, really they don't know much about customer service, you are lucky if you get someone to get your order right. The atmosphere is nice though, they did the little cowboy thing with my daughter, and it was fun because my whole family was there. So, we did get a good time, but definitely not the best. Its just OK.
Not sure it lives up to the hype. We had a larger group so we got crammed into one of those big corner booths, but 7 grown men don't exactly fit comfortable (I had the misfortune of getting in a corner) Staff was attentive and on the ball, keeping bread baskets full and refills of drinks available. The food.... I didn't hear any real complaints out of our group, (couldn't hear opposite end of table) but noticed portions of food not consumed and not taken home in a to go box... My order wasn't properly cooked, I ordered my steak medium rare and it was medium well, but I'm NEVER EVER sending food back due to my fear of it getting tampered with for being a "Karen" and asking for it to be accurate. Despite it being way overcooked to my order, I ate it anyways and it wasn't horrible, just not my personal favorite way to eat a steak. The grilled shrimp were not overcooked, heavily seasoned (lucky for me, I LIKE very heavy seasonings) and were actually pretty good until I dunked them in the seasoned melted butter provided. SALTY as the dead sea.... If I BARELY dipped it, it wasn't overpowering and was OK. The steak fries were horribly over salted and I could only eat a few before the salt overpowered everything. The buttered corn was more hardly butter flavored at all, was like getting a mouthful of black pepper. WAY over powered by the pepper (I actually really like black pepper, but this was ridiculous) I don't know if this is the usual standard for the food or if they just had some new HEAVY handed cooks that over seasoned everything. (I normally REALLY prefer extra seasonings) but only my overcooked steak was not over seasoned. Food all looked good and wasn't a long wait once we ordered, but as for me, I think I'll take a long time before I visit a Texas Roadhouse again. Just not worth the money for the level of food quality received and enjoyed (or lack thereof) Luckily, I have plenty of snacks at my hotel as I didn't eat anything more than my small steak and shrimp. (buisness travel) I hate to seem like a negative person, but as for my personal taste and experience, this is my honest opinion.
Extremely Busy Location with Good Food, But Inconsistent Experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3 out of 5) There are several Texas Roadhouse locations across the Houston area, but this one in particular is extremely busy, largely due to its location in a heavily trafficked shopping strip. Parking is very limited, and on evenings—especially weekends—you can expect a 45-minute to 1-hour wait just to be seated. Once inside, the dining area is crowded and loud, and while the food is consistently good, the service can be hit or miss. It often takes extra effort to flag someone down for drink refills or additional items, and overall timing is slow. Expect your full dining experience—from seating to exit—to take about 1 to 1.5 hours. They’re very accommodating for children, which is a big plus. The kids’ menu is solid, and they’re enthusiastic about celebrating birthdays with fun flair. The macaroni and cheese is especially tasty. They also tend to do a good job cooking steaks to order, and portion sizes, while satisfying, can feel a bit on the smaller side depending on what you order. This particular location has a tight layout, so parties of four or more may feel a bit cramped, and the waiting area often overflows—you may want to stay in your car until your table is ready. A big drawback: the restrooms. On our visit, there was a line to get in, and once inside, the bathrooms were messy, with toilet paper on the floor, an empty soap dispenser, and paper towels left out. Definitely an area that management should keep a closer eye on. Final thoughts: While we enjoyed the food and the kid-friendly atmosphere, this particular location feels overwhelmed by the volume of business. If you’re craving Texas Roadhouse, we’d recommend trying a location a bit farther from central Houston for a more relaxed experience. We’ll return—but likely to a different branch.
Recently I went on a Thursday, and this place was packed. There was a wait for five people or more. The service here was great! Very friendly staff, and pretty quick! I was really looking forward to a steak dinner with some delicious sides, but was extremely underwhelmed by the lack of flavor. I got an 8 oz sirloin steak with steak fries and rice. The rice is less than mediocre, the steak fries could be replicated with little effort. The steak was okay and the onions and mushrooms on top were not seasoned well. I will say that the shrimp and the fried pickles were pretty good. overall, I think this place is overhyped, and crowded. The food is mediocre, and the sides are a hit and miss.

We eat there at 3pm on a Saturday. It's not how I remembered it. I ordered a $30 Ribeye to be cooked Medium. And I received it cook all the way to the point it was hard & dry (Reference Picture Below). We also got Ribs that that was also charred to almost ashes (Reference Picture Below). It was not edible at all. It was like chewing on Flip-Flops smothered in BBQ sauce. The bread & honey butter was good and the Cactus Blossom was also good. I just wish it came with more dipping sauce. The server was OK. I wish she came to the table more times. But she wasn't bad at all. It was not a good food experience. The main course were horrible. I gave them another chance the next day(Sunday for Dinner) and ordered To-Go. We got their Family Pack Chicken Tenders. That was a lot better for the Value. The chicken was good. It didn't quite makeup for the day before. I would have gave them a 4Star but the main courses that they are supposed to be known for (steak & ribs) Bombed. Please reference the pictures below.
Every time I visit this location I have a bad experience. This is now my 3rd time and each time it’s a bad experience. The restroom are horrible. Have a horrible smell, are never clean. We were seated in a really bad area, no rolls until 15 mins later even though the table who was seated 10 mins AFTER us was sat WITH rolls. Once we finally received the rolls they were not baked all the way through. Food was mediocre. Husband received his steak not medium rare so we sent it back only for it to return with out the original jack cheese on it so we sent it back AGAIN. Finally it was done right but everyone had already received their food. If you have the option of choosing a different location please do.
waited over an hour! It was so packed and we even put our names in prior to coming. We love the food but it's a nightmare

If you have allergies do not go there! I said I had a gluten allergy, they have a gluten free menu and they got me regular bread because they don’t pay attention! They don’t care about you!

We had only a very short wait for a table for four. That turned out to be the high point of the evening. The music was so loud we had to shout at each other and the poor girl taking our order could b…

Absolutely the WORST customer service. We were celebrating a family birthday and as big as the restaurant is they could not seem to accommodate for us to sit in tables near each other. So we celebrated a birthday all scattered. The manager literally came up with every excuse as to why they couldn’t accommodate us.
Update May 27th 2021 Don’t recommend going there on date night they will rush you. Mangers rude staff unprofessional. Update 04/ 29 had another amazing visit. The lady who was our server was name Summer she was amazing at her job!!! Amazing family dinner!!! This location was great!
Valerie is the most unprofessional waitress I have ever encountered. Never came to check on us. Never cleared the table before entrees arrived. And when another waitress questioned why she didn’t clear our table she brushed her off. The table next to us was also complaining about her not coming to check up on them either. Every other waiter and waitress seemed to be checking up on their tables except for ours. And when I told her directly that the table wasn’t cleared she gave a very nasty attitude.
My son and I love Texas Roadhouse. We were running errands all day and we were hungry. I invited my parents to have dinner with us at Texas Roadhouse Katy location. This was December 22, 2025 around 8pm. We got seated and the waitress was sweet and patient with my mom who is deaf and wears hearing aids. We all placed our orders and drinks. We were conversating while eating the delicious hot bread. The music than started playing very loud, you couldnt hear anyone speaking, not even the waitress. Our Caesar salads eventually came out and we started eating. I than choked on a piece of ceramic from the plate. I looked closely at the plate and there was a huge crack sticking out the plate under the salad. The waitress did take while to come check on us but she eventually came to our table, my parents told her what happened and showed her the plate. The peice of ceramic was stuck in my throat and it started hurting. The waitress called the manager over and addressed the issue. The manager was not so friendly. She just made an incident report and took down my information to convey to the General Manager and District Manager. I have yet to hear back from anyone about this horrific incident. It is very disappointing to know that the cooks didn't see the huge Crack on the plate before serving in it. This was a terrible experience, my son started crying hysterically, because I started coughing up blood. We ended up leaving, so i could go to a Emergency 24 hr Clinic. I honestly am hesitant on coming back ever after this, and how everything was handled.
After waiting for a long time, I was shown to a table with water on the chair, but I didn't notice and ended up wetting my pants. There was trash and water spilled under the table from other customers. The servers didn't clean it up and just showed us to our seats. Still hungry, I quickly sat down with my family and ordered our food. However, the combo appetizer we ordered was too salty and inedible. I told the staff, but nothing was done. The steak was so tough that I had to throw away more than half of it. I tipped 20 percent, but the unpleasant feeling persisted all the way home. I never want to go there again. I hope others don't feel this way. I have fond memories of the Richmond location I used to visit, but today's family dinner was a real disappointment.
I’ve been wanting to try this place and decided to order pickup for our wedding anniversary. The steaks were overcooked (ordered Medium and got well done!) and they were WAY TOO TOO SALTY!! Everything was too salty!! The sautéed mushrooms and onions on top the steak were too salty!! The corn was too salty! The baked potato had too much salt!!! SOOOOO disappointing,..!! The bread was only OK..! Nothing to brag about,.! Overall I felt this restaurant did not live up to the hype, way over seasoned and overcooked steaks,..! Getting fast food would have been better and cheaper,..!! Would not return and do not recommend, unfortunately,.!!
Came on a Saturday night to eat with a spouse and son. Waited for ONE HOUR and half to be seat in a dirty chair. The waitress took for ever to service us. Plus we saw many people walking in and seating earlier before us... Went we call the store they say you have to be here. So how come people can go in before ...
Food is Ok, service is Great! Margaritas are NOT good at all, they are sweet and the happy hour margaritas have NO ALCOHOL on it so don’t waste your money on margaritas at this place.
They conveniently ran out of bread after I placed my to go order for my husband and in the beginning of my dining experience the host was rude to me. I expressed this to the manager and was just not impressed with the service here tonight. It took forever just to get bread to our table as well.
Wish I could say better things but we went out today for both mine and my brother in law’s birthday, there was 6 of us, and after waiting 50 minutes we all got our food (it was busy so we get it) unfortunately one of the steaks that we ordered was inedible, at first my mom was going to try to eat it but she couldn’t even cut through it. After telling out server, she was sweet and said she’ll fix our problem, we waited almost 30 minutes to get a new steak. Everyone has already eat and ready to go, due to the inconvenience we figured they would take the meal off our tab and given us something to go, but the lady’s like "no sorry I can wrap it to go and still charge you” we just thought that was so rude that they couldn’t even take one meal off the bill. Ruined our birthday dinner sadly.
Parking was like maybe we have to fight these other families for a spot. We waited 30 minutes for our table. We assume the AC was set on 48 degrees with all ceiling fans pushing the air down onto our table. Each of our meals were awful. My daughter's dry mini burgers, my chop steak , my wife's "death grip to the bones" ribs. They cranked the radio to at keast 100 decibels halfway through the meal. We won't return to this particular location and need some time in general.
Extremely disappointed with the lack of inclusivity at this location. My son is Autistic and has very specific dietary needs; he only eats one type of chicken nugget. Despite explaining the situation to the staff, they refused to let us bring in outside food for him. It’s disheartening to see a family-oriented restaurant show zero flexibility or understanding for children with disabilities. We won't be back until they train their staff on basic ADA accommodations and empathy.
disappointed with my recent experience at Texas Roadhouse. After picking up my to-go order, I checked the food and realized that the “chicken tenders” on the kids’ menu were actually chicken critters (more like nuggets). My son was really looking forward to actual chicken tenders, not nuggets. The menu clearly says chicken tenders, and the photo shown online when placing the order does not accurately reflect what you actually receive. I drove back (about 10 minutes each way) to speak with the manager. She informed me that their junior chicken tenders are only chicken critters. If that’s the case, the menu and online photos need to clearly state that. Customers should not have to guess what they’re ordering. On top of that, after waiting nearly an hour for this to be addressed, I was still charged $3.25. It’s not about the amount of money — it’s about principle and customer service. After the inconvenience, the drive time, and the long wait, I expected better resolution. This experience was frustrating and disappointing. Something definitely needs to be done about the menu accuracy and how situations like this are handled.
We waited over an hour to get a table (which is fine for a Saturday night) just to practically be ignored by our waitress, Valerie. the food was great but the mood was basically ruined by the lack of good service. While this isn’t some high end steakhouse the service could at least be better than what was given to us tonight. Perhaps more training or retraining is necessary for her to do a better job. Busy does not excuse bad service and an attitude when being asked to clear the table to make a little more space.
I ordered my steak medium-well, but it was served well-done. The manager offered to recook it, but only with fewer ounces and after an additional 15 minutes, which made no sense. They refused to properly fix the issue, leaving me with an overcooked sirloin. This disrupted our family dinner, and a minimal discount did not address the poor management or disappointing experience.
Found giant shards of glass at the bottom of a drink. Still had to pay for all but one meal even if we were all uncomfortable and unsure if smaller shards of glass could have been in every drink. We all feel concerned about it considering there were very small shards that could have been missed. Our server was fantastic but the manager/supervisor did not completely satisfy us as a concerned customer. First picture is the big shards taken out of the cup after noticing, and the second one is the smaller shards remaining.
