Koobideh Kabob with Fava Bean Rice. I discovered this place on a Friday night craving some homey, warm food. I'm not Persian, but as a Latina, some well seasoned rice, tasty meat, and grilled vegetables win my heart easily. What I was not ready for was the amazing experience of the shopping store: while I was waiting for food, I got myself some fresh olives, Mediterranean olive oil, baklavas, chocolate babka, and even tarragon soda! On top of that treasure, all the workers were super friendly, and the cashier made some quick and charming conversation as I checked out. Will be coming back, for sure.
It’s a food stand inside international food bazaar, They were kind and accommodating to accept my order at 9am even before opening. If you need any combination outside of menu just ask as most probably they accept. Cons: lamb shank came with no sides, I wish they had seating area to enjoy the food fresh and warm.
Dropped in for a kebob plate since I was in the area. The take out food area was to the right side of the main international food bazaar. I have to say I ended up purchasing other grocery items and meat while I was here. The store is immaculately clean, large selection of vegetables towards the front and packaged items inside, not only middle eastern but I was able to get Indian pickles made by Patak from the UK and even Marmite! The meat area also was extremely clean and they had a good selection, ended up buying some. Anyway back to the reason I visited … the guy taking ordered for takeout was friendly and very respectful, given my general interactions nowadays this was a pleasant surprise. Food was well priced, plate was $14 (as of Nov 2023) for koobideh kebob plate that came with one average sized kebob, veggies (including grilled tomato), large amount of rice. Flavors were very good and overall I was pretty impressed. I would definitely stop by here again. Whole experience was excellent.
Amazing halal take out place with great tasty food. It’s in a grocery shop called international bazaar. The grill offers a lot off good options like lamb burgers kababs, rotisserie chicken and lot more. I have tried their kababs, rotisserie chicken, samosas/ sambusa, and lamb burger. All of the food from the grill I highly recommend. They do not have any seating there as they are part of a grocery store. I have also tried their halal deli meats and God they have the biggest deli selection in the bay area. If you are into deli meat cold cuts, I highly recommend this place. It is basically a one stop shop where you can shop groceries, get meat and also get fresh grilled items.
We like this place. Food is always prep accordingly and good portion for it's price. Definitely value for money.

I can't believe how much I love this place. The market and kabob deli is by far the best store and eatery I've been to since moving to San Jose. Eddy/Eddie (possibly the manager or owner) introduced himself and was very welcoming. Whether you're looking for groceries or take out food, the quality and customer service is topnotch. I love the atmosphere, love the food and everything is reasonably priced. Highly recommend!!! Update: I've gotten the chicken shwarma plate 4 times now and think I'm addicted lol

I can't believe how much I love this place. The market and kabob deli is by far the best store and eatery I've been to since moving to San Jose. Eddy/Eddie (possibly the manager or owner) introduced himself and was very welcoming. Whether you're looking for groceries or take out food, the quality and customer service is topnotch. I got the sautéed eggplant which was ready to eat and the chicken shawarma wrap that had to be cooked. I’d have given 5 stars had the wrap had a little more chicken...it just felt light like an appetizer and could have been more filling.

We came around 11am and got the Koobideh kabob plate and chicken shawarma plate. There was a 15 minute wait for them to prep the food after we ordered so we did some grocery shopping in the international food bazaar. When the food was ready, we learned that they didn’t have any sauces or dips available so we just left with the 2 plates. The koobideh kabob plate was awesome. The meat was so flavorful and the veggies were grilled and tossed in a delicious light yogurt sauce. We regretted not getting an extra kabob a la carte since the plate only comes with one. The chicken shawarma was bland and definitely needed a sauce. I’d go back for the koobideh kabob plate.

This has so much potential but lacking flavor. The ground beef taste just like grill ground beef with salt qm pepper...which taste boring and not having any herbs or spices. The lamb wrap is a lot better.

This place is inside the International market which I do like. They have a butcher on premises and the meat is amazing, a bit pricy but worth it. They have a huge amount of items from all over the world. It's amazing. Not cheap but good stuff. The Zarzour kabob is not bad, expensive tho. You must try this place at least once. Staff is very nice. ENJOY, like my post if you liked the place, I would highly appreciate it. Be 😇 blessed

So be careful and precise when they are out of something and suggest a replacement especially on the phone. We ended up paying $85 dollars for 3 same dishes when we asked for one. And it was mostly a lot of white rice. there isn't an online menu that is up to date so I would recommend ordering in person and double checking your order.
