First time trying Laughing Crab and it was pretty good. Very flavorful. We got the Combo D which the king size snow crab, shrimp and sausages. It comes with two corn, potatoes and 2 boiled eggs. The drinks were good too. We were seated immediately. The tables are kind of tight but we were comfortable.

Incredible food. Just wow. Got the level three heat and old bay seasoning. Cannot recommend it enough. And I’ll admit, I was skeptical of this place: in the mall, packed with people (and small space anyway), loud environment, and sports I hadn’t even heard of on the TV. But that all changed almost as soon as we ordered. The service was very attentive but not overbearing, the food was—as I said—delicious, and the prices and portions are more than reasonable. Love it and I’ll definitely come back to this tucked away gem of a seafood restaurant in America’s most land-locked state.

What a gem. Don’t be scared that it’s in the mall. The service was great and the food was exactly what I was craving. Half lb snow crab, half lb crawfish, and half lb shrimp was cooked just right and flavor was on point for me. Raw oysters were pretty small is the only negative. This coming from a guy who said it’s almost impossible to find good food in Nebraska.

First time visiting, and it was a good experience. My wife got a boil variety which was all good. I got a fried shrimp basket which came with 10 large shrimp. The restaurant is small so seating is a little tight. Service was decent, drink refills left a little to be desired.

Me and my bf went here for lunch and it was amazing! They give you all the tools you need for the seafood and a basket for the bones! I’ve only been to seafood boil once before and I was kinda disappointed but I loved this spot! The service was great, the space is cute and clean, they play great music and of course the food was delicioussssss. We for the crab rangoons, calamari, crab, shrimp, corn, potatoes and sausage. We did medium and Cajun style and it was excellent. Yum yum yum we will be back! :)

This place took over the old Five Guys location at the mall, and their menu boasts a wide assortment of seafood items. I ordered a fried calamari basket from their weekday lunch menu for less than $10 and enjoyed it very much. 🐙 Can't wait to try their seafood boil and soft shell crab next.

100% recommend The Laughing Crab. My boyfriend and I came for lunch and got the combo C, which comes with a 1/2 lb shrimp, 1/2 lb crab legs, and 6oz lobster tail plus 2 eggs, potatoes, and corn for $42. We also added a 1/2 lb crawfish to our boil for only $8 as part of their lunch prices from 11am-3pm. Everything was super flavorful, we chose old bay seasoning with garlic butter and mild spice. Service was friendly and fast. We will definitely be back!

Probably the worst calamari I've ever had. Soggy and greasy, and the breading fell off because it was saturated with oil. Once the breading fell off, I could see that the calamari itself was a grayish-brown. They did replace it with a different dish, but all the fried stuff was soggy and disgusting. The hush puppies were more like dough balls - crispy outside, but a soggy mess inside. Never again!

As a transplant from Maryland I was so excited to see a new crab place opening. Part of that is on me I get that, I grew up with the best of the best and this....yikes. Its rough guys- The food lacks flavor outside of generic spices that feel like they came off the discount grocery store shelf. the crab is cooked to hell- its just a complete disappointment. The atmosphere is cool though

We ordered the Friday special where we got Crab, sausage, corn on the cob, lobster tails, and ordered Mussels as well. We asked for the house sauce. The Lobster Tails were way overcooked. You couldn't even get the meat out. And when I did get some out it was really stringy and did not taste well at all. I brought this to the waiters attention and the manager said they cook theirs longer. And that was all that was offered for an explanation and there was nothing done after that either. The crab legs were the same. Very overcooked and when we did take them out of the shells they were also really stringy as well. Spent $111 for some sausage corn on the cob, potatoes, and shrimp. Probably could get this at the store and cook it myself for a lot cheaper. Very disappointed in the food and even worse it was correctable and nothing was done.

I visited for my birthday and was disappointed with the overall experience. The food was acceptable, but not comparable to similar restaurants such as Cajun Crab & Pho or Yummy Crab in Omaha, and the dining area was a bit cold. I repeatedly requested a drink refill and was ultimately assisted by a different server. When I inquired about birthday specials, I was told that because I asked “last minute,” I could not receive a to-go box. My server, REBECCA, provided poor service and later insisted on receiving a tip. When my significant other declined due to the service quality, she questioned our tipping habits. Tips should be earned through good service, not requested. Overall, I DO NOT recommend this establishment and suggest dining elsewhere.

I ordered the Crab Cakes and the Seafood Gumbo with Rice. The crab cakes looked like preformed frozen patties, and were 90% filler. What "crab" could be found was definitely not the real thing. Its sweet flavor, mushy texture, and bright orange outside gave it away as imitation crab. As for the seafood gumbo, at first I thought they gave me the clam chowder by mistake, as it looked very pale and creamy. Once I saw the huge chunks of okra, I realized this was indeed meant to be gumbo, although I only found one miniscule piece of shrimp in it for seafood, and very little rice. Rather than the thick, hearty stew I expected, it was a thin, colorless broth, looking more like watered down beer cheese soup than gumbo. I will not be returning to the Laughing Crab.
