Opiniones de Seager & Sons Plano
They took the corn on the cob off of the menu. When Esa told me this I almost cried. Why not just remove all of the light bulbs instead. The corn & fried chicken is the reason we eat here weekly. Esa is the best server, the chicken is the best, & the corn is my ever, ever. After wiping the tear from my left eye, I was somehow able to finish our meal, but something was missing. I'll never be the same. Seager, tell your son's to bring the corn on the cob back. If something must go, take the light bulbs instead, I'd rather just eat in the dark.
We had a great experience. The wait time was a little long without a reservation but hopefully that's something that gets ironed out. The food quality and portions were excellent. The ambience of the space and decor was really fun. Charlie was an excellent waiter and took great care of us.
We went to celebrate my birthday, and it did not disappoint! Very cool vibe with the rock posters, vinyl, and beautiful decor. The food was fantastic! The cocktails were on point. Our service was prompt and the server was attentive. The only downside was the noise volume. Would not be ideal if you were wanting to have conversation or getting to know someone.
We were in the area and decided to try Seager & Sons. My daughter loves fried chicken so when we saw it on the menu we were excited to try it out. I ordered the Crab Rangoon dip and it was delicious. The kiddos got the cheese sticks and were impressed by the cheese pull and the taste! The fried chicken was crispy, crunchy and juicy. Everyone enjoyed the food.
Went here on a double date, got a reservation for a high top. Tasty food options that are plenty large and perfect to share/take home. The vibe and music were fun and trying to be homey/vintage feel. Service was great (shout out Jordan) and drink menu with speciality cocktails and non alcoholic drinks. A good spot that we would definitely go back to, the table’s favorite was the chicken to share. Also not pictured were the French onion dip with veggies and crab Rangoon dip.
My wife and I have been here 4 times total. We normally get the fried chicken, but have also ordered other dishes as well. Every thing we have ordered has been fantastic. The newest addition to the menu I have tried are the lettuce wraps - hands down best lettuce wraps I have ever had. My favorite drinks here are the Black Cherry Bourbon Slush and the Banana Bread Old Fashioned and my wife loves the martinis. 10/10 recommend. We have never had a bad experience here and will contiue to come back.
Awesome vibe! They did a great job at setting the mood and vibe as soon as you're inside. Every interaction we had with any staff was exceptional. The food recommendations were great, to the point that I couldn't resist, even though i was beyond stuffed. Portions were larger than expected, unlike similar restaurants in the area. It's definitely at the top of my list for having a nice dinner or lunch.
We were excited to finally eat here after reading all kinds of positive reviews! We would’ve ordered more but there were only two of us. We started with the fancy potato skins and half chopped chicken BLT. The potato skins were tasty, the flavors melded well only wish the potato skins were a bit more crispy. The salad was also good, really enjoyed the bibb lettuce and fried chicken tenders, just would’ve liked a bit more dressing. The fried chicken and chipotle hot chicken were the standout - competitive with well known fried chicken establishments in the area! The chicken was crispy and just a bit spicy, so good! We also enjoyed the Bohemian rhapsody pizza - the mushrooms and fresh basil really stood out. The service was excellent! We were seated in the covered patio space and would’ve preferred to be indoors to enjoy the ambiance of the restaurant, but otherwise a great first visit! We’ll definitely be back!
This was our first time at seager + sons but it definitely won't be our last!! We had the dirty martini dip, bohemian rhapsody pizza, and the burger and everything was delicious. Service was great and the restaurant is really cute!! We loved the vibes. Can't wait to come back again soon!
Amazing food and service! Not only was everything we ordered delicious, the vibes were immaculate! We came here to celebrate our best friend’s cancer remission and the manager went above and beyond to make this night memorable! I can’t wait for us to make this a regular spot for memories, delicious food, and cocktails ❤️ to be treated with such kindness is so rare and I hope the entire staff knows how thankful we are!!
Best ambiance right outside of legacy west. I came here for my birthday and it was nice, intimate and the greatest atmosphere. Plus my server Zoe was so on top of everything. She had the best suggestions for entrees and deserts. Never did I think I’d like pickles on pizza until she sold me on it! Be sure to try the boogie nights pizza. You won’t regret it
I ate here for the first time today and let me just say Wow. Food was incredible! We sat on their covered patio and it was nice and toasty in the colder weather! I got one of the pizzas and we got the butterfinger dessert! Everything was top notch! Our server, Zoe, was beyond kind and super attentive! The owner also came and greeted us and was just the sweetest! Will 100% be back!
Amazing! A friend and I enjoyed a late lunch on a Friday and loved it so much I went back the next day with my family. Sooooo good! To start, it's very cool just walking in. The vinyls lining the entrance hall, music posters, the matches and lava lamp at the hostess stand... Seriously, every detail was spot on 70/80s vibe. Service was phenomenal each time. Our server Jordan was attentive and gave great recommendations. The fried chicken is drool worthy! It's not greasy but still juicy and crispy. It's so flavorful and a must order. Then again everything on the menu is! The focaccia toast was one of my favorites, especially with the spreads it came with. The Mac n cheese side was also memorable and might be the best compliment to the chicken. Safe to say, the boardwalk finally found a permanent resident. I can't imagine this place not succeeding and creating franchise babies. Hands down, new favorite restaurant.
Cool joint dishing out some classics but they’re known for their pizza and fried chicken so we decided to check out their fried chicken. At first bite, it’s super crispy and the chicken itself is juicy and cooked to perfection. However, my only beef with this place is that the chicken lacks flavor. I want to really love it but if they just seasoned the chicken or flour more, it would have been a hit.
We had this place on our list for quite some time, and we finally made it there. On Thursday early evening, we decided to head down and grab some food. The menu isn’t very large, but the variety is impressive. What surprised us was how lively it was before 6 PM — the place was already buzzing. It was a warm spring evening, which made the atmosphere even better. Despite not having a reservation, we were seated in a nice booth. The service was quick and attentive. The food was the highlight — lavender martini, the red fish and the parm sammy were outstanding.
This was our family’s first time visiting Seager & Sons, and we were thoroughly impressed! The chicken was absolutely phenomenal. Our server, Charlie, made the experience even better. He was friendly, attentive, and offered great recommendations. You could tell he genuinely cared about making sure we had a great meal. He truly went above and beyond. We’ll definitely be coming back!
This is a new spot that opened December 2024. It’s in Plano but not too deep in. The area is nice, mostly restaurants in the area from what i saw. Wheelchair accessible, including parking. This is a family friendly establishment. Most data open until 11pm. The ambiance is very nice it’s modern contemporary with a 70’s vibe. They do offer outside seating in a covered area. There is also a fully stocked bar. The waitresses were very nice and friendly, the food came out quickly. The crab Rangoon omg yessss. The California hotel margaritas are strong drinks. I did enjoy the strawberries lavender lemon drop as well. The green sauce given with the chicken is simply not enough 🙃 it’s just so good you need more. The chicken was fried to perfection. The pepperoni pizza was so good with so much cheese. I would definitely go back
Went to happy hour with a girlfriend on a Thursday night and we were really impressed with the overall experience here. Our bartenders were very friendly & attentive. They made really great Espresso Martinis. (they call it a Rocket Man on their drink menu!) We had the Crab Rangoon Dip & Fancy Potato Skins and both were very good. The atmosphere was comfy, cozy dim and the music was amazing. We will definitely be back!
The menu is different but the food is really good. Some of the pizza combinations sound very odd, BUT THEY WORK lol I was shocked by the Boogie Nights pizza, and I loved it. Definitely a good vibe for a date night, especially with the boardwalk being right outside of the uncovered patio. Its also relaxed enough to just hang with the fellas.
This was first time and I am pretty impressed. My Food was fresh and filling. I got a half and Half Pizza (All Pep’d up & Blues Brothers). I must say I enjoyed the pepperoni pizza a lot more. My server Kaden recommend the hot honey topping and let’s say what an amazing add. He was quite enjoyable and had great recommendations. I sat on the hooded patio the vibes were great, and it was such a pretty day outside. I’d definitely recommend this place
Such a great new restaurant! The modern take on a 70’s vibe is such a fun and unique concept and they did it so well. The atmosphere is lively with good music but not so loud that you can’t have conversation. There’s a great bar area and covered patio with multiple tv’s. The outdoor area is such a great space with comfortable seating. Our party of 4 was welcomed by multiple staff members upon arriving and being seated. Our server Lexi was incredible and her knowledge of the menu was impeccable as we had a lot of questions having a vegetarian and a gluten free member of our party. We loved her recommendations and the attentiveness that she gave us! The food and cocktails were amazing and arrived at our table very promptly after ordering. Several managers came by our table to introduce themselves and check on everything. Great service, warm and friendly staff, delicious food and a fun vibe! Will definitely be coming here often and will be requesting Lexi!
The food was amazing 😍!! Me and my family will definitely go back one day. Our server Issa was GREAT she recommended use some great options. Thier pasta was really good 💯and the crab dip 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND!!! Also Issa asked if we had any food descriptions. Our server was SOOO nice 🤩
Ok a really neat place. I had two pieces of pizza before i got there for lunch or probably would have chosen that for lunch. The Blues Brothers looked really good to me. I went with a Jimmy. It was pretty good, but there are many other things on the menu i would try the next time. For one, the fried chicken. I was at a rather large table and we were served with attention and friendliness. I really appreciated this location. The inside is really nice, it can get a bit loud.
Great experience and awesome service. Didn't feel rushed. Chilled dirty martini dip and Chicago style are great appies to start with. They have a little spice to them. Just letting them people know, who think ketchup is spicy. Ahi lettuce wraps are good..they big doe! The ziti-ziti was good too. Definitely will come back!
Wonderful new restaurant at the Boardwalk in Plano! From the moment we walked and treated so pleasantly by the hosts to the last moment when we walked out the front door we felt special hospitality!!! Food is really great, we had the potato skins as a start , tasty and light not heavy cheese ! The signature Fried Chicken, we ordered the half , the best fried chicken I have tasted in a long time! Red Fish with rice pilaf delicious and so fresh! And Garlic Broccolini was so yummy! Our waiter Charlie was so friendly and sweet, his knowledge of the drinks and food were great! He was helpful and attentive! The manager Morgan was so friendly and stopped at our table to check on us! The 1970’s vibe is so fun with the music 🎶 and memorabilia!! We will be back My only suggestion- improve on the wine’s by the glass if possible! I had a cocktail which was good but some fun wines would be great!! 😊
I had such a great experience at Seaver and Sons! The manager, Dave, was so helpful and welcoming, and our server, Charlie, was attentive and friendly the entire time. We started with the fried mozzarella, which was perfectly crispy and delicious. Then I tried That Burger, and wow, it was amazing! Juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Overall, excellent service and fantastic food. Highly recommend checking this place out!
The restaurant had plenty of seatings inside and out on the patio overlooking a boardwalk and a pond across from a Hilton hotel. They have 80's music playing in the background. My husband ordered an italian sandwich, served with chips. The sandwich was delicious, layered with cured meats, pesto sauce, arugula, some finely chopped pickled vegetable spread. The chips were made in house and tasted so divine. My Caesar salad had a perfectly cooked chicken breast that's juicy. The salad was well seasoned and not overly dressed.
I loved everything about this restaurant from the moment we walked in. The hostess was very nice and helpful. Our server Jorden was beyond exceptional! He was so kind and answered all the questions I had . He checked on us frequently which I loved. Most importantly the food was delicious! I give everything was ate a 10 out of 10!
Nestled along the enchanting Granite Boardwalk in Plano, TX, Seager & Sons is a culinary gem that whisks you away on a nostalgic journey back to the vibrant 1970s. From the moment you step inside, the eclectic décor, lined with vinyl albums and retro memorabilia, envelops you in a warm embrace of nostalgia. The ambiance is further elevated by a soundtrack of classic 70s hits that seamlessly blend with the restaurant's modern twist, making it a truly unique dining experience. Seager & Sons specializes in an impressive array of dishes, from hand-tossed pizzas to mouthwatering pasta and delectable fried chicken. Their menu is a love letter to the 70s, with creatively named pizzas like the “Play That Funky Music,” “Boogie Nights,” and “Bohemian Rhapsody.” I opted for the Blues Brothers Pizza, topped with Luscher’s Italian sausage, house cheese, garlic-roasted crimini mushrooms, classic red sauce, hot giardiniera, and hand-torn basil. The crust was a revelation—crispy on the outside, chewy and flavorful on the inside—making each bite a delightful experience. For my pasta course, I chose the High Brow Pasta, which featured perfectly cooked tagliatelle, roasted chicken breast, spinach, garlic-roasted crimini, parmesan, oven-dried tomatoes, and a sweet onion cream sauce topped with crispy breadcrumbs. The dish was rich and comforting, striking the perfect balance of flavors and textures that left me wanting more. But the star of the meal was undoubtedly the fried chicken, prepared with the Seager Family's secret recipe. Juicy and tender, each piece was accompanied by a delightful chipotle hot honey and a zesty Peruvian green sauce. The combination of flavors was simply divine, making it a must-try for any visitor. To cap off this indulgent feast, I savored a slice of Butterfinger Ice Box Pie. With its creamy cheesecake base, luscious chocolate topping, and crunchy Butterfinger pieces, it was a sweet ending that perfectly encapsulated the joy of the meal. What truly sets Seager & Sons apart, however, is the impeccable service. The staff treated us with the kind of attentiveness and warmth that you'd expect from a Michelin 5-star establishment, making every moment of our dining experience feel special. In a world where dining experiences can often feel generic, Seager & Sons stands out as a vibrant celebration of food, music, and nostalgia. Don't miss out on this one-of-a-kind experience that you won't find anywhere else. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this restaurant deserves a spot on your must-visit list!
It’s all good! From the front door hostess, to the server, to the special birthday card tonight. It was all to brag about. The atmosphere is relaxed and easy to converse in with 70-80’s music to bop your head along with. Our server was prompt and checked on us throughout the visit (1.5hrs) He was never pushy, but rather very helpful and attentive to refill our glasses and remove plates without interrupting our conversation. The food came out fresh and HOT. This visit we had the Crab Dip, Cesar Salad, Half Chicken, Pepperoni Pizza, Apple Cinnamon Roll dessert and drinks. I recommend you head here day or night for a full belly and some relaxation. Seating at a table or the bar you could see the TVs and the outside patio. ***Evenings are much more busy, so went at 4:40pm.
The restaurant is new, nice and clean. There is a small patio overlooking the fountain. Cozy booths, and even the chairs are very comfortable. Better quality side dishes, freshly made sauces, and proper preparation (crispy on the outside and soft and juicy on the inside) turn a $1 chicken into a $10 chicken. Which is a great price for the combination of food and atmosphere. The restaurant is large, but at the same time cozy and therefore perfect for any occasion, a date night, lunch, or family dinner.
The drinks were great and the fried chicken and pizza was amazing! Loved the atmosphere and music and our server Ethan was the absolute best! Celebrated my birthday here and I will definitely be back to check out the bar next
This might be my new favorite restaurant. The fried chicken was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. It was served with a spicy hot honey sauce and fresh chimchurrie. The chicken camry Sammie was a bit disappointing because the lack of sauce was overcooked. Our server, Steven, was fantastic! We loved 70s and 80s music and overall vibe.
The atmosphere and music were very fun, even tho we got put on the patio, in the rain(but i won't dwell on the negative...cause there were too many positives). First of all, my wife and I really enjoyed the food. The fried chicken was very well cooked, and the breading very tasty. The espresso martinis were top notch. If you make sure that you ask for Cassie H. as a server. She's very attentative to her duties, made very friendly small talk, and new all the perfect additions to your entres. Can't wait to go back again to try the pizza
We had an amazing New Year's Eve dinner at Seager & Sons with our group of six, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! The food was incredible—every dish we tried was a hit. The pizza was perfectly crafted, the fried chicken was crispy and flavorful, and the appetizers were unique and delicious. Their craft cocktails were another highlight—expertly made and full of flavor. The ambiance of the restaurant is just as impressive. The 70’s retro interior is so cool and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a festive evening. The service was excellent too—attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Whether you're out with friends, family, or a larger group, Seager & Sons is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!
My daughter and I just enjoyed an early dinner today at Seager & Sons. We were out celebrating the Lunar New Year! The minute we walked in, we were greeted by several friendly faces. The ambiance is absolutely nice and comfortable. Our server was the absolute best. I'm really disappointed that I didn't write down his name. He gave us some great recommendations. We ordered the Ceasar Salad, Half Chicken and the Bohemian Rhapsody pizza. Everything came out piping hot! I loved that the salad had avocado in it. Best fried chicken I've had in a long time. The pizza was astounding. We had a great time and plenty of leftovers. We are definitely coming back real soon!!!
Not good... not great... EXCEPTIONAL! Had the fried chicken, pizza, caesar salad, crab dip, kids burgers. Very tasty. Best of all was the service. We celebrated a birthday there and they made it memorable and special. Atmosphere was a retro vibe - loved it. Great location on the boardwalk in Granite Park. We don't say this often, but we'll be back!
My wife saw this place today in a Face Book post and told me about it and we went here for dinner tonight and I am very impressed! The decore here and really the entire vibe are all awesome. Pretty much pushed all our buttons on all the categories that we both like. Especially the music 🎶 🎵 they had playing the whole time 70's and 80's genre. The inside is very loud and blostious but is really nicely decorated. Words will not do it justice it must be experienced. We sat outside on the patio (much quieter) which over looks The Boardwalk at Granite Park Pond. Jordan was our server and he was super knowledgeable about the entire menu and knew all the dishes by heart. (I love it when staff displays so much positive enthusiasm and really takes pride in their establishment which this young man certainly does.) at his recommendation I sampled the Bannana Bread Old Fashioned (which i never would have done without Jordan's recommendation) and guess what??? It was really delicious! So I had 2 of them. Heather usually doesn't appreciate Whiskey based drinks being a Tequila girl, but she tried it and even liked it. For our appetizer we tried the Fancy Potato Skins and they where really good, down right delicious. Hard decisions because all the descriptions looked very tantalizing. We already picked out what we wanna try for our second and third visits if that's any indication. For our entrée we tried The Boogie Nights 14' Pizza (again at Jordan's behest) That guy knows his stuff. Unconventional style of Pizza with pickles, fried chicken and hot honey, probably something we would never have tried if left to our own devices, but was super yummy! (Jordan was 3 for 3 for the evening!) For our dessert we sampled The Butterfinger Icebox pie, which turned out to be a cheesecake like confectionery dream with the heavenly tastes of carmel, chocolate and peanutbutter in a sinfully large portion that we split between the two of us and still felt guilty about after we devoured it! **but not to guilty** We are definitely adding this place in our top 5 best hangouts category! Winning business model, awesome staff, over the top bar and drinks and delicious and imaginative food combinations. If you are near here definitely give this place a try. I will warn everyone it will be very busy at peak times and they do accept reservations which I highly recommend doing online. Parking at the garage behind is easier to find free spaces in then the packed parking lot out front.
Absolutely amazing. The food was incredible, the crab dip was so tasty and flavorful. The burger was cooked to perfection, great presentation and the fried chicken is hands down the best we’ve ever tasted. Service and atmosphere were outstanding, everyone we interacted with was so kind. We will definitely be back!
I don’t give out 5 stars very frequently- but Seager & Sons deserves every one. We went March of 2025 to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and from the moment we stepped in the door we were warmly welcomed and treated like we belonged. When we got to our table there was even a birthday card signed by the entire staff! The place has a great, laid back vibe, a diverse clientele and friendly staff. Our waiter Randy was awesome and had great recommendations for us all night. Everything we had to eat and drink was incredible, especially the shrimp cocktail and the mac n cheese! We had a fantastic time here and already can’t wait to come back! Highly recommended!
The pizza was excellent. Perfect thin crust with a bubbly edge, super fresh tasting sauce and several topping options. Companions enjoyed their dishes. It would be nice if the chicken parm was served with pasta instead of an arugula salad. Everyone enjoyed their cocktails and the iced tea was good and strong. Kind of noisy but a very neat interior. Excellent hand soap in the bathroom. You can nake reservations online.
Went to Seager and Sons tonight with my best friend! We had a reservation and were sat quickly! We booked for Standard Seating and were seated in the enclosed patio initially. We did ask to be moved inside because we thought standard would be for inside and really wanted to experience the dining room. The manager was able to find us a table and work around some other reservations thankfully! The service was great from our server too! So, 5/5 for service! On to the food - we got the blue crab Rangoon dip and honestly… if you go for nothing else, go for this! We also had a pizza 4/5 and the fried chicken 5/5! The chicken was juicy and crispy - you can tell it is fresh! The only mishap on the pizza is that they don’t use freshly grated Parmesan if you want some for the top! I would expect this at a restaurant that is as nice as Seager and Sons! And lastly, the atmosphere 5/5 - it’s moody, it’s warm and the music is fun! We will absolutely be back! Overall, 5/5 experience!
This is hands down our favorite place for cocktails and delicious food! We always sit at the bar, and have the best time interacting with the happy and engaging staff. Andy is always amazing and makes the best cocktails. You can’t go wrong with the Night Moves or Banana Bread Old Fashioned! The food is also amazing - hot honey makes everything better!
UPDATE Sep 2025: We got a salad and split it and one pizza again. Two slices and full tummy so plenty for leftovers. See photos of interior. BTW: don't let on but during hot summer and/or rain take advantage of next door free parking garage. Well worth it. Cooler today but opted for parking garage. July 2025: Yes, all good. We finally got in. We had received a Christmas present gift certificate and tried to go in the months afterwards. And so did everyone else with friends and family. Good for them. After waiting a few months and for a Wed lunch it was our time. Not disappointed and understand why so crowded. Fun place good food brings the crowds. There is patio/outdoor seating but not in TX summer months for us. We got a salad and split it and one pizza. Two slices and full tummy so plenty for leftovers. See photos of interior. BTW: don't let on but during hot summer and/or rain take advantage of next door free parking garage. Well worth it.
Seager and Sons is an absolute must-visit restaurant, and I must start by praising the incredible managers and staff. I stumbled upon this gem while staying at my hotel, and I’m so glad I did. Every staff member I interacted with was genuinely wonderful, not only to me but to other patrons as well. The team’s cohesiveness and ability to work together seamlessly were unmatched. On my first visit, I couldn’t resist trying the ‘Boogie Nights’ Pizza. Trust me, it was delicious! The bite-sized pieces of chicken on the pizza are what piqued my curiosity, and I couldn’t resist trying the bone-on chicken on my second visit. And let me tell you, they know exactly what they’re doing when it comes to cooking chicken. It was simply divine! To all the amazing managers and staff members—Lo, Jasmine, Ryan, Max, Goose, Dolton, and Leo—thank you for being you! Your dedication and passion made my two consecutive visits to Seager and Sons unforgettable. And to the cook staff, although I didn’t have the chance to interact with you, I want to express my gratitude for your hard work and commitment to keeping the kitchen running smoothly. You all are truly appreciated! Until next time, keep up the fantastic work!
Awesome experience if you enjoy a good mix of 70's rock with your meal. Comfortable seating with very clean tables and utensils!! Well maintained toilets and odors! Service was top notch. Our person(Alicia)was very helpful, attentive & just so upbeat. Perfect mix for some good Ole digestion to happen. Will most definitely be going back
My boyfriend and I have been looking forward to visiting Seagar and Sons since they opened, and today we finally had the chance. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted so warmly—the hostesses were personable, asked if it was our first time, and even let us choose our seating. After a long, hot morning of golfing, we were craving good food and good vibes, and this place delivered both. Our server, Jordan, was absolutely amazing. He’s been with Seagar and Sons since day one, and it showed—he was insightful, welcoming, and his recommendations never steered us wrong. We started with the Banana Old Fashioned (we’re huge Old Fashioned fans and were worried it might be too sweet, but it was perfection—I’ll be dreaming about it). For appetizers, we had the baked crab Rangoon dip and the fancy loaded potato skins. Even if you’re not a big seafood person, you’ll enjoy both of these—flavorful without being overly “fishy.” For mains, we shared the half bird fried chicken, the “pepped up” pizza, and the mac & cheese. Every single bite was incredible. By dessert, we were absolutely stuffed, but Jordan recommended the croissant cinnamon roll (I can’t remember the exact name), so we took it to go. Totally worth it. The atmosphere was just as memorable as the food—fun, nostalgic, and full of energy. I couldn’t count how many times I smiled and laughed throughout the meal. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience. Amazing food, amazing drinks, amazing service. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Seagar and Sons!
I knew I was going to like this place, but I didn’t know that my bf and I were going to have to make a pact to come here every month. The ambiance is amazing. 70s vibes, with 70s and 80s music basically forcing you to sing along for the entirety of your meal (no complaints from me). Service was AMAZING. Our server Essa (I didn’t get the exact spelling, so I hope I’m right) was so attentive and awesome. She made awesome food and drink recs, and even brought us samples of their frozen cocktails. The food was amazing. Best fried chicken I think I’ve ever had. Don’t sleep on the burger though. We were told the chef used to work at The Grape and the burger is the same as their famous brunch burger and it was no lie! So delicious and cooked to perfection. Cocktails weee just as good. The pic I added was the banana bread old fashioned. It was perfection. Every cocktail we had was unique and delicious. Will definitely, absolutely be back.
This was my second visit to Seager & Sons - always a wonderful time! This time we got a Filthy Martini, Crab Rangoon Dip, Half Bird Fried Chicken (the best), & a side of Mac 'n Cheese. During my first visit, we split the All Pep'd Up Pizza & each got a Black Cherry Bourbon Slush (very bourbon forward). Everything is delicious! Service is wonderful & the wait staff is very knowledgeable about the menu! I did not have a reservation for my first visit but we were sat immediately as long as we would be up in an hour & a half for an upcoming reservation, no problem. I did have a reservation for my second visit. I have sat both inside and on the covered patio - both atmospheres were fun! I truly can't say enough good things - I know I'll be back!
If you're looking for top-tier comfort food, this is the place. The fried chicken lives up to the hype, crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. The baked crab Rangoon dip was a unique and tasty starter. Also, don't sleep on the pizza; the Pepperoni and Blue Brothers were both hits. The space is open yet cozy, providing a great atmosphere for friends and family.
Seager & Sons has quickly become one of my favorite new spots in Plano. The food was excellent — I had the Highbrow Pasta and Caesar Salad, and both were absolutely perfect. The cocktails were fantastic, and the overall vibe strikes the right balance between upscale and relaxed. A special shout-out to Gustavo at the bar — he’s incredible. Super friendly, knows his craft, and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend checking this place out.
We had such a good experience here! Randomly picked it out on our way to IKEA and such a win! The service was amazing (Issa!) - we brought out 8 month old daughter and eating out is a little intimidating and all the servers and even the manager were SO sweet to her. The food was INCREDIBLE, we both got the sandwiches and then we also got crab Rangoon dip and the server gave us the fried balls for free to try. ALL 10/10. And the hot towels at the end! Plus the atmosphere was amazing. Can’t say enough good things, obviously.
We had a great first experience at S&S on Monday evening. From the moment we walked in to the dimly lit atmosphere, we were hooked. The drinks (looking at you Banana Bread Old Fashioned) to the fancy potato skins, to a great pizza, it has not been put on our short list of places to regularly patron. JR provided great service and fantastic drinks, along with the rest of the bar crew as well. We sat at the bar, which was plenty comfortable and while there are tvs with the game on, they don’t distract from the overall ambiance. Well worth checking out and a welcome addition to granite park.
We enjoy the 70's and 80's atmosphere and music. The outdoor seating is very comfortable and has nice views of the lake. The service is exceptional. Jasmine, the Hostess, makes us feel welcome when ever we walk in the door. Esa, our server, is so thoughtful and attentive. Our favorite thing to order is the All Pepped Up pizza, so good!
I love food. The chicken here is like a luxury edition of your favorite chicken store's chicken. The price of the half bird is worth it. I think this is better than Babe's, then again I was hungry lol. It's 73 degrees today and sitting outside was phenomenal. Shoutout to Izza and the team for the excellent service.
If I could give this place an 11/10, I would. From sip to bite, everything was delicious and did not disappoint. My friend and I are so satisfied! Our mouths and stomachs are so happy. We ordered 4 shareables had a drink or two here and finished with desert. I forgot the name of the desert but if you like Reese’s cups, you’ll love this desert, it’s like a pie version but more. We ordered the cocktail shrimp, steak sticks, potato skins, mozzarella sticks (more like Patties). Food was divine, service was superb, even the manager came to greet us. And the ambiance, 70s vibes, speakeasy like atmosphere. You just gotta experience it for yourselves. Great for small or large groups. Bring your dates, friends, family. It’s a vibe. Till then, let’s eat!!!
Came here for my birthday and everything was amazing. Jesse was our server and he was so helpful. The manager and staff went the extra mile to make my birthday special by having a signed card, dessert and a gift card for our next visit. I’ve never experienced such amazing customer service. Food and drinks were also a 10/10. Prices were great. Highly recommend if you enjoy great food, nice atmosphere and A1 service. So happy we came. Hopefully they expand to the Houston area
Took our client here for their closing celebration and glad we did! The Strawberry Lemon Drop is a start, get it! We shared the BLUES BROTHERS pizza and the CHICKEN it was delicious! Make sure to get the sauces for the chicken. For dessert order the BAKED APPLE CINNAMON ROLL. You won't go wrong with any of it! Also ask for Candice!
We arrived with a late reservation on a busy Saturday night around 6:30 p.m. The waiter was incredibly friendly and helpful, guiding us through the menu. The restaurant is renowned for its pizza and fried chicken. We decided to try the pizza and salad, both of which were delicious and satisfying. The atmosphere was lively and vibrant, with soft background music creating a pleasant ambiance. They also have a full bar offering a variety of craft cocktails, which were exceptional. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely come back to try the chicken!
Wow. How have we missed out on chilling at this place all this time!?!? Between the killer vibe, the phenomenal service (thanks, Allison!), the craveable food, and the lovely libations, we may just have found our permanent hang! So glad we checked out the reviews and decided to come in for a late night dinner on a Tuesday. From the moment we set foot in the place, we experienced a feel good kind of mood shift that lasted well beyond the last bite. Our culinary excursion guide, Allison, was genuinely a huge part of why our first experience won’t be our last. From immediately setting that good vibe tone to helping us navigate the menu, sharing her favs, and answering all our questions with ease and confidence, she really curated the perfect initial visit. We kicked off with the Crab Rangoon Dip, a warm, rich, and creamy crab combo that arrived with light and crisp fried wontons and a sweet chili sauce that created the perfect balance of heat and tang to offset the unctuous bites of cream cheese. Led by our trusted guide, we imbibed a variety of elixirs that ranged from a smooth and stealthy vodka hi-ball with strawberries to a tart Socorro blanco tequila skinny paloma, the warm and comfy banana bread old fashioned, and a super lemony Long Island Iced Tea — all well chosen and perfectly paired to balance out our dinner decisions. That fried chicken should be illegal in at least 30 states because it’s so addictive. Holy macaroni was it crisp and incredibly juicy and flavorful! The chipotle honey and green stuff sauces were a fabulous way to help even out the saltiness of the chicken. Together, those bites couldn’t have gotten better - just divine. Instead of sides, Allison said we were on the right track when we asked about the Cacio e Pepe Fritters, and she wasn’t wrong. The creamy cheesy goodness oozing from within those golden crispy arancini-like spheres of goodness were nothing short of sooooooo goooooood! And to top it all off, we knocked back the most delectable Butterfinger Icebox Pie known to man. I’m not sure how fluffy, creamy, crunchy, sweet, smooth, and satisfying can make it into one bite, but it did in that triangular triumph. We will 1,000% be back, and we’ve already planned out pizza and pasta with Allison for when we return. Can’t wait!
Had a great experience visiting this establishment. The ambiance was dark and moody with classic rock memorabilia showcased that I loved! Our server was personable and enthusiastic about the food which definitely lived up to the hype. My cocktail was delicious, and all of the food tasted amazing. The fried chicken and the green sauce that resembled a chimichurri was obsessive worthy, and I’m eagerly waiting to return to try more of their menu.
Seager & Sons in Frisco doesn’t just serve food — it drops the needle and lets dinner groove. Picture this: Earth, Wind & Fire’s September humming through the elegant dining hall while you bite into fried chicken so juicy and crispy it deserves its own slow jam. That crunch hits right on the chorus. Pure harmony. The white cheese macaroni is rich, smooth, and unapologetically nostalgic — like a vinyl record you refuse to replace with a playlist. Creamy, indulgent, and comforting in the way only the best 70s and 80s tracks know how to be. Then comes the crab dip, warm and decadent, scooped up with crispy wonton chips that snap like a perfectly timed snare hit. No filler, all flavor. And the homemade potato wedges? Golden, seasoned, and soulful. They’re the encore you didn’t know you needed — crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, impossible to ignore. Seager & Sons feels like a time capsule where classic music and elevated comfort food collide. You don’t just eat here — you vibe, you reminisce, and for a moment, every bite hits like your favorite throwback song.
Just went there with my husband and little one and had a wonderful experience. The service from the moment we walked in to the moment with left + some was amazing. Food was delicious. Our server Charlie was attentive and great to talk to. There was a minor issue with our check and was handled promptly and received a follow up email from one of the managers to confirm it was fixed. They went above and beyond, and we truly enjoyed our dinner. Our one year old also devoured his kids meal- great options.
Ordered the baked crab ragoon dip, fried chicken, and potato wedges. The dip was very good but it did not taste like crab rangoon. If you don't like a lot of salt, tell them easy on the salt on the chips. The fried chicken was so good. Nice and crispy and very juicy. The potato wedges were good too. I'm not a huge fan of large potato wedges, but I would order them again. The restaurant has an amazing vibe. I really loved the posters of the music artists. The service was wonderful and very friendly. I highly recommend this place.
Updated retro- style atmosphere. Food was varied: crab rangoon dip was tasty, double cup pizza was well seasoned with dough not too sweet and cooked just right, burger cooked Exactly medium, with all the regular beers and inventive mixed drinks including zero-proof expertly made! And all of the above was not Overly filled with multiple options. I appreciate the menu was varied but simple. Well be back!
Without going over the top Seager & Sons genuinely has a really good vibe/ambiance. Retro modern? If that’s a thing. Sorta like Ida Claire’s cousin. Music that is just loud enough. Service is friendly and efficient and the food is of the comfort type but elevated. You’ve had better pizza likely, but when put together with service and ambiance this is the type of place that sits solidly in anyone’s rotation for a quality meal.
It was pretty decent experience for the first time I came in! The service was really good and attentive for how busy they were. The food is known for chicken, unique variety of dishes and pizza. My friend got a fish, 🐟 and the fish was okay, but wasn’t good In middle. The service was quick to action and made sure everything was needed for us! Thank you for that! The place all together was pretty cool, and nice experience. Definitely coming back for sure, to try more options and experiences! Especially the cocktail drinks too.
We were really excited when Seager & Sons opened. The restaurant interior was beautifully designed. It had a late-70s swanky living room vibe. Loved the 70/80s music and the dim lighting. We tried a couple of cocktails (both great). The fried chicken and the pizza were both delicious (no notes). The staff was friendly and Jordan was a great server. My only complaint was that the front doors were propped open, and it was pretty cold where we sat. Will definitely be coming back!
We tried this new place and it was really good! The atmosphere was really cool and when you walk in there is a ton of vinyl records. The music was nice cool 80s music. We had the potato skins and crab dip for appetizers and those were really good. I also had the boogie nights pizza. It was pretty good but not the most amazing ever. Overall I really like this place and all the staff were really nice!
Place was really busy yet our reservation was on time with no waiting. Waiter was friendly and helpful when asked for advice. There was no sense of urgency which was nice as we could order and eat at our own speed without feeling rushed. Food was very tasty, cooked to order exactly. Good drinks especially cocktails and huge portions of pudding for those that managed it!!
The place was really good! The appetizers and pizza were delicious, and the drinks were great too. The only disappointment was the chicken it was flavorless and really dry , was really hard feel they fried to much that make it everything so dry . Other than that, I enjoyed the experience.
Visited at the sweet spot of a weekday at 2 p.m., just as Happy Hour started with the lunch menu still available until 3 p.m. We enjoyed most of the food, especially the juicy fried whole bird. The shrimp cocktail, however, could have been handled better. It’s not ideal when the shrimp wasn’t thoroughly deveined. Mike's service was on point. We’d probably go back, at least for the fried chicken.
When I travel, I always seek out restaurants I can’t experience at home. I came across Seager & Sons before our trip and was genuinely excited to try it, drawn in by the comfort-food-inspired menu and the abundance of five-star reviews. The pros: the courtesy call to confirm our reservation was a nice touch. The atmosphere and music were hands-down the highlight of the evening. The specialty cocktails were well-poured, flavorful, and definitely packed a punch. Dessert itself was enjoyable once it arrived. The cons: the level of service we had read so much about fell a bit short at times. While our server was friendly, there were moments of inattentiveness—missed opportunities for additional drinks, and dessert took an unusually long time to arrive. It felt as though we had ordered a soufflé rather than a standard dessert. As for the food, we tried the crab rangoon dip, cacio e pepe bites, and pizza. Everything was fine, but nothing stood out or left us wanting to order it again. It felt like something was missing with each dish. Given the volume of five-star reviews, my expectations were high. If I were in town again, I would likely stop by for drinks at the bar and the atmosphere, but not necessarily for the food.
Atmosphere is great, but unfortunately the food was nothing to come back for. We ordered these: 1. Margarita - 7/10, a little bland, tasted like it had vodka instead of tequila 2. Renegade Steak Styx - 5/10, expensive, gristly, mushrooms seemed old, good flavor 3. Tuna Lettuce wraps - 7/10 very good, but a little too pricey for what you get 4. Sesame Chicken Chop - 6/10, mostly loaded with the cheap fried wontons and cabbage, overpriced for what you get, flavor was a little bland 5. Bohemian Rhapsody pizza - 1/10, terrible. Overpowering sour/tart flavor, did not seem to have cheese on it, mushrooms were old and just overall very disappointing. If these dishes were better quality I would not complain about the price; understandably this is a more upscale area, but the food quality was very much lacking consistently throughout.
The drinks are good but the service could be better at the bar. We ordered several drinks and would have ordered more if they had come to ever check on us after 20 years. We sat next to a loud crowd and it seemed like we were completely ignored once they came in. Unfortunate because we would’ve had more to eat and drink if the service had been more attentive (see pics of longstanding empty glasses). Other things to note: great ambience and vibe. Disappointed in this experience when I’ve had past pleasant nights here and was hoping for a repeat.
WARNING THEY TRY TO SHORT YOUR MONEY IF YOU PAY WITH CASH!! My husband and I were dressed really nice since we just came back from our week trip from Vegas! We go to this restaurant all the time usually dressed more casual but we got a new waiter. SUPER SKETCHY OFF THE BACK!! Took 20 minutes to get us some water, I had to ask another waiter for more chips and I even told the original Waiter that we had to ask someone and he didn’t even care. I think this waiter is new because the customer service was horrible. Anyways long story short since we came back from Vegas we had hundreds in cash we decided to pay with the dinner anyways. The total was $81 and we paid $100 bill and the waiter had the decency of to ask if we wanted change back with no waters or any help lol. So we gave the $100 bill and seen the waiter was taking too long come to find out he was never giving our change back and doing something else until we got up and walked up out of our table how pathetic to find out why he is counting receipts and not giving my husband back his money. When my husband finally walked up he shorted us 2 dollars and gave us $17 back in change instead of $19. We decided to ask for the manger since all of this was too sketchy. Long story short the waiter knew he was scamming us and gave us his own $5 lol what a joke. Never coming here again and I’ll make sure to tell all of my wealthy friends as well. This place is not for people who dress nice because you will get taken advantage of!!!
