Awesome experience if you enjoy a good mix of 70's rock with your meal. Comfortable seating with very clean tables and utensils!! Well maintained toilets and odors! Service was top notch. Our person(Alicia)was very helpful, attentive & just so upbeat. Perfect mix for some good Ole digestion to happen. Will most definitely be going back
My boyfriend and I have been looking forward to visiting Seagar and Sons since they opened, and today we finally had the chance. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted so warmly—the hostesses were personable, asked if it was our first time, and even let us choose our seating. After a long, hot morning of golfing, we were craving good food and good vibes, and this place delivered both. Our server, Jordan, was absolutely amazing. He’s been with Seagar and Sons since day one, and it showed—he was insightful, welcoming, and his recommendations never steered us wrong. We started with the Banana Old Fashioned (we’re huge Old Fashioned fans and were worried it might be too sweet, but it was perfection—I’ll be dreaming about it). For appetizers, we had the baked crab Rangoon dip and the fancy loaded potato skins. Even if you’re not a big seafood person, you’ll enjoy both of these—flavorful without being overly “fishy.” For mains, we shared the half bird fried chicken, the “pepped up” pizza, and the mac & cheese. Every single bite was incredible. By dessert, we were absolutely stuffed, but Jordan recommended the croissant cinnamon roll (I can’t remember the exact name), so we took it to go. Totally worth it. The atmosphere was just as memorable as the food—fun, nostalgic, and full of energy. I couldn’t count how many times I smiled and laughed throughout the meal. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience. Amazing food, amazing drinks, amazing service. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Seagar and Sons!
I knew I was going to like this place, but I didn’t know that my bf and I were going to have to make a pact to come here every month. The ambiance is amazing. 70s vibes, with 70s and 80s music basically forcing you to sing along for the entirety of your meal (no complaints from me). Service was AMAZING. Our server Essa (I didn’t get the exact spelling, so I hope I’m right) was so attentive and awesome. She made awesome food and drink recs, and even brought us samples of their frozen cocktails. The food was amazing. Best fried chicken I think I’ve ever had. Don’t sleep on the burger though. We were told the chef used to work at The Grape and the burger is the same as their famous brunch burger and it was no lie! So delicious and cooked to perfection. Cocktails weee just as good. The pic I added was the banana bread old fashioned. It was perfection. Every cocktail we had was unique and delicious. Will definitely, absolutely be back.
This was my second visit to Seager & Sons - always a wonderful time! This time we got a Filthy Martini, Crab Rangoon Dip, Half Bird Fried Chicken (the best), & a side of Mac 'n Cheese. During my first visit, we split the All Pep'd Up Pizza & each got a Black Cherry Bourbon Slush (very bourbon forward). Everything is delicious! Service is wonderful & the wait staff is very knowledgeable about the menu! I did not have a reservation for my first visit but we were sat immediately as long as we would be up in an hour & a half for an upcoming reservation, no problem. I did have a reservation for my second visit. I have sat both inside and on the covered patio - both atmospheres were fun! I truly can't say enough good things - I know I'll be back!
If you're looking for top-tier comfort food, this is the place. The fried chicken lives up to the hype, crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. The baked crab Rangoon dip was a unique and tasty starter. Also, don't sleep on the pizza; the Pepperoni and Blue Brothers were both hits. The space is open yet cozy, providing a great atmosphere for friends and family.
Seager & Sons has quickly become one of my favorite new spots in Plano. The food was excellent — I had the Highbrow Pasta and Caesar Salad, and both were absolutely perfect. The cocktails were fantastic, and the overall vibe strikes the right balance between upscale and relaxed. A special shout-out to Gustavo at the bar — he’s incredible. Super friendly, knows his craft, and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend checking this place out.
We had such a good experience here! Randomly picked it out on our way to IKEA and such a win! The service was amazing (Issa!) - we brought out 8 month old daughter and eating out is a little intimidating and all the servers and even the manager were SO sweet to her. The food was INCREDIBLE, we both got the sandwiches and then we also got crab Rangoon dip and the server gave us the fried balls for free to try. ALL 10/10. And the hot towels at the end! Plus the atmosphere was amazing. Can’t say enough good things, obviously.
We had a great first experience at S&S on Monday evening. From the moment we walked in to the dimly lit atmosphere, we were hooked. The drinks (looking at you Banana Bread Old Fashioned) to the fancy potato skins, to a great pizza, it has not been put on our short list of places to regularly patron. JR provided great service and fantastic drinks, along with the rest of the bar crew as well. We sat at the bar, which was plenty comfortable and while there are tvs with the game on, they don’t distract from the overall ambiance. Well worth checking out and a welcome addition to granite park.
We enjoy the 70's and 80's atmosphere and music. The outdoor seating is very comfortable and has nice views of the lake. The service is exceptional. Jasmine, the Hostess, makes us feel welcome when ever we walk in the door. Esa, our server, is so thoughtful and attentive. Our favorite thing to order is the All Pepped Up pizza, so good!
I love food. The chicken here is like a luxury edition of your favorite chicken store's chicken. The price of the half bird is worth it. I think this is better than Babe's, then again I was hungry lol. It's 73 degrees today and sitting outside was phenomenal. Shoutout to Izza and the team for the excellent service.
If I could give this place an 11/10, I would. From sip to bite, everything was delicious and did not disappoint. My friend and I are so satisfied! Our mouths and stomachs are so happy. We ordered 4 shareables had a drink or two here and finished with desert. I forgot the name of the desert but if you like Reese’s cups, you’ll love this desert, it’s like a pie version but more. We ordered the cocktail shrimp, steak sticks, potato skins, mozzarella sticks (more like Patties). Food was divine, service was superb, even the manager came to greet us. And the ambiance, 70s vibes, speakeasy like atmosphere. You just gotta experience it for yourselves. Great for small or large groups. Bring your dates, friends, family. It’s a vibe. Till then, let’s eat!!!
Came here for my birthday and everything was amazing. Jesse was our server and he was so helpful. The manager and staff went the extra mile to make my birthday special by having a signed card, dessert and a gift card for our next visit. I’ve never experienced such amazing customer service. Food and drinks were also a 10/10. Prices were great. Highly recommend if you enjoy great food, nice atmosphere and A1 service. So happy we came. Hopefully they expand to the Houston area
Took our client here for their closing celebration and glad we did! The Strawberry Lemon Drop is a start, get it! We shared the BLUES BROTHERS pizza and the CHICKEN it was delicious! Make sure to get the sauces for the chicken. For dessert order the BAKED APPLE CINNAMON ROLL. You won't go wrong with any of it! Also ask for Candice!
We arrived with a late reservation on a busy Saturday night around 6:30 p.m. The waiter was incredibly friendly and helpful, guiding us through the menu. The restaurant is renowned for its pizza and fried chicken. We decided to try the pizza and salad, both of which were delicious and satisfying. The atmosphere was lively and vibrant, with soft background music creating a pleasant ambiance. They also have a full bar offering a variety of craft cocktails, which were exceptional. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely come back to try the chicken!
Wow. How have we missed out on chilling at this place all this time!?!? Between the killer vibe, the phenomenal service (thanks, Allison!), the craveable food, and the lovely libations, we may just have found our permanent hang! So glad we checked out the reviews and decided to come in for a late night dinner on a Tuesday. From the moment we set foot in the place, we experienced a feel good kind of mood shift that lasted well beyond the last bite. Our culinary excursion guide, Allison, was genuinely a huge part of why our first experience won’t be our last. From immediately setting that good vibe tone to helping us navigate the menu, sharing her favs, and answering all our questions with ease and confidence, she really curated the perfect initial visit. We kicked off with the Crab Rangoon Dip, a warm, rich, and creamy crab combo that arrived with light and crisp fried wontons and a sweet chili sauce that created the perfect balance of heat and tang to offset the unctuous bites of cream cheese. Led by our trusted guide, we imbibed a variety of elixirs that ranged from a smooth and stealthy vodka hi-ball with strawberries to a tart Socorro blanco tequila skinny paloma, the warm and comfy banana bread old fashioned, and a super lemony Long Island Iced Tea — all well chosen and perfectly paired to balance out our dinner decisions. That fried chicken should be illegal in at least 30 states because it’s so addictive. Holy macaroni was it crisp and incredibly juicy and flavorful! The chipotle honey and green stuff sauces were a fabulous way to help even out the saltiness of the chicken. Together, those bites couldn’t have gotten better - just divine. Instead of sides, Allison said we were on the right track when we asked about the Cacio e Pepe Fritters, and she wasn’t wrong. The creamy cheesy goodness oozing from within those golden crispy arancini-like spheres of goodness were nothing short of sooooooo goooooood! And to top it all off, we knocked back the most delectable Butterfinger Icebox Pie known to man. I’m not sure how fluffy, creamy, crunchy, sweet, smooth, and satisfying can make it into one bite, but it did in that triangular triumph. We will 1,000% be back, and we’ve already planned out pizza and pasta with Allison for when we return. Can’t wait!
Had a great experience visiting this establishment. The ambiance was dark and moody with classic rock memorabilia showcased that I loved! Our server was personable and enthusiastic about the food which definitely lived up to the hype. My cocktail was delicious, and all of the food tasted amazing. The fried chicken and the green sauce that resembled a chimichurri was obsessive worthy, and I’m eagerly waiting to return to try more of their menu.
Seager & Sons in Frisco doesn’t just serve food — it drops the needle and lets dinner groove. Picture this: Earth, Wind & Fire’s September humming through the elegant dining hall while you bite into fried chicken so juicy and crispy it deserves its own slow jam. That crunch hits right on the chorus. Pure harmony. The white cheese macaroni is rich, smooth, and unapologetically nostalgic — like a vinyl record you refuse to replace with a playlist. Creamy, indulgent, and comforting in the way only the best 70s and 80s tracks know how to be. Then comes the crab dip, warm and decadent, scooped up with crispy wonton chips that snap like a perfectly timed snare hit. No filler, all flavor. And the homemade potato wedges? Golden, seasoned, and soulful. They’re the encore you didn’t know you needed — crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, impossible to ignore. Seager & Sons feels like a time capsule where classic music and elevated comfort food collide. You don’t just eat here — you vibe, you reminisce, and for a moment, every bite hits like your favorite throwback song.
Just went there with my husband and little one and had a wonderful experience. The service from the moment we walked in to the moment with left + some was amazing. Food was delicious. Our server Charlie was attentive and great to talk to. There was a minor issue with our check and was handled promptly and received a follow up email from one of the managers to confirm it was fixed. They went above and beyond, and we truly enjoyed our dinner. Our one year old also devoured his kids meal- great options.
Ordered the baked crab ragoon dip, fried chicken, and potato wedges. The dip was very good but it did not taste like crab rangoon. If you don't like a lot of salt, tell them easy on the salt on the chips. The fried chicken was so good. Nice and crispy and very juicy. The potato wedges were good too. I'm not a huge fan of large potato wedges, but I would order them again. The restaurant has an amazing vibe. I really loved the posters of the music artists. The service was wonderful and very friendly. I highly recommend this place.
Updated retro- style atmosphere. Food was varied: crab rangoon dip was tasty, double cup pizza was well seasoned with dough not too sweet and cooked just right, burger cooked Exactly medium, with all the regular beers and inventive mixed drinks including zero-proof expertly made! And all of the above was not Overly filled with multiple options. I appreciate the menu was varied but simple. Well be back!
Without going over the top Seager & Sons genuinely has a really good vibe/ambiance. Retro modern? If that’s a thing. Sorta like Ida Claire’s cousin. Music that is just loud enough. Service is friendly and efficient and the food is of the comfort type but elevated. You’ve had better pizza likely, but when put together with service and ambiance this is the type of place that sits solidly in anyone’s rotation for a quality meal.
Visited at the sweet spot of a weekday at 2 p.m., just as Happy Hour started with the lunch menu still available until 3 p.m. We enjoyed most of the food, especially the juicy fried whole bird. The shrimp cocktail, however, could have been handled better. It’s not ideal when the shrimp wasn’t thoroughly deveined. Mike's service was on point. We’d probably go back, at least for the fried chicken.
Atmosphere is great, but unfortunately the food was nothing to come back for. We ordered these: 1. Margarita - 7/10, a little bland, tasted like it had vodka instead of tequila 2. Renegade Steak Styx - 5/10, expensive, gristly, mushrooms seemed old, good flavor 3. Tuna Lettuce wraps - 7/10 very good, but a little too pricey for what you get 4. Sesame Chicken Chop - 6/10, mostly loaded with the cheap fried wontons and cabbage, overpriced for what you get, flavor was a little bland 5. Bohemian Rhapsody pizza - 1/10, terrible. Overpowering sour/tart flavor, did not seem to have cheese on it, mushrooms were old and just overall very disappointing. If these dishes were better quality I would not complain about the price; understandably this is a more upscale area, but the food quality was very much lacking consistently throughout.
