Opiniones de Grace Mobile
One of the best meals I've ever had. Pricey, but worth every penny
Fantastic experience. First time there, food was very good, fresh and light.. very enjoyable
I have been to Grace twice (Sunday brunch and weeknight dinner) and I was absolutely impressed both times. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is to die for, and the service was exceptional. I prefer to sit at the bar to have a more social experience and I had the pleasure of being waited on by LaDonna. She's sunshine personified. She knows the menus well (drinks and food) and her recommendations were spot on. I'll definitely be back and I highly recommend the shrimp and grits for brunch and the chicken for dinner.
Wife and I went for a date night when our first choice was too busy. We got on google and found Grace. What we loved most was the food the service and the atmosphere. It was dark but the table was candlelit and it wasn’t too loud for a quiet dinner. Our server was very knowledgeable about the food and drinks menus and she helped us to make some decisions. Best date we’ve have had in a long while.
I absolutely la la la LOVE Grace on dauphin! The menu has a great variety of beautifully presented and mouth watering meals. There's not one item that I have tried that I wasn't happy with. The west Indies bruschetta and the smoked triple tail dip are my top two fav appetizers. When I feel like something a bit on the lighter side, I order the duck salad....but if I am really hungry, my go to meals are the half chicken or the pork Schnitzel. SO much food for a budget friendly price. Occasionally, if I want to treat myself, I will order the ribeye with the port wine reduction. Chefs kiss! 💋 Not only is the food ah-mazing, but the cocktail menu is super fun and creative and I love that they are titled "holy Spirits" and "7 deadly sins". The rooftop is such a vibe, especially as the sun sets.
Excellent menu featuring all of the usual brunch favourites but with a special twist. We enjoyed the Croque Madam with home fries and Lumpcrab Fried Green Tomatoes and a biscuit. All was delicious, very tasty and generous serving without being too much. The Bloody Mary was good too, loaded with bacon, cheese and pickles. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning.
London savanna and joy where an amazing addition to the amazing food. Service is unparalleled.
We had the scallops and halibut. Everything was fantastic. The service was great. I think our servers name was Mike . The bread pudding is so so good. I’m pretty sure there’s no bad meal on this menu. I can’t wait to go back.
Grace is incredible! If you love seafood, you owe it to yourself to come here. The ingredients are top quality, and the recipes are excellent.
We had a wonderful time! Food was amazing, prompt and friendly service and drinks on the rooftop after dinner were the perfect way to finish a delicious dinner!
Customer service was great! I booked online and had a question. Despite the restirant being closed, I received an answer within 30 minutes that was incredibly helpful. After our meal, the chef came around and spoke to everyone, shaking their hands. You can tell that the resturant cares about their food and the experience. Location is perfect! Love the outdoor seating and lights at night. Wish the chairs had backs. Food was fantastic! The poutine was our favorite. Everything else was amazing.
Great experience! Our first time visiting was on point and did not miss. We arrived on a busy Saturday evening with our party already settled in on the rooftop lounge. A little bit of a wait to get drink and food orders going but nothing terrible. We opted for ‘mocktail’ versions of a Moscow Mule from the bar, which were great (if you’re looking for non-alcoholic options but still something fun). For food, we were looking for something simple and opted for the West Indies Bruschetta & Grilled Skirt Steak Street Tacos. Absolutely delicious and highly recommend both! Overall, the servers/bartenders seemed a little understaffed but were doing their best and acknowledged the situation. Will absolutely recommend Grace and can’t wait to come back soon!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommend Grace! I recently stopped by Grace for lunch and was thoroughly impressed. The Roasted Duck Spinach Salad was delightful, and the Salted Caramel Crème Brûlée was simply divine. Dave, the host/bartender/server, provided attentive and pleasant service throughout my visit. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that I highly recommend
I finally decided to visit and I dined on the Rooftop. The staff was so friendly. I had the Spinach & Roasted Duck Salad and it was amazing! When I tell you the combination of flavors were perfect, so hats off to the Chef. It was tasteful and refreshing for a beautiful warm day in Downtown Mobile. I definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for good food with a beautiful view!
The waiter was top notch. Food was out of this world. Atmosphere was great and pricing was very reasonable. Definitely will be back!
I absolutely enjoyed my time at Grace! It was a vibe. The food was absolutely amazing. We came for brunch, and I had the blackened fish and grits, and it was perfect. The fish was seasoned perfectly, and the grits were to die for. It was filling and just too good. The Peach Bellini was too good!!!! I had 2 those, and I was just right!! Overall, the experience was amazing. We sat upstairs on the rooftop, and it was perfect. Just overlooking the downtown area was peaceful. 10/10 definitely recommend and I definitely can't wait to come back and try more food and cocktails.
Stopped by on a Sunday for brunch. There was an event going on downtown and was told all seats had reservations. Checked out the outside seating but it was a little chilly so decided to try again another day. Was about to leave when the hostess informed me that two tables had combined and a table was available, +1. I ordered the breakfast biscuit and home fries. The fries were hot and crispy, another win. The breakfast sandwich was a huge biscuit with egg, bacon, collard greens and hollandaise sauce. It was amazing! The biscuit was fresh and as were all of the ingredients. I will be back to try the outside/rooftop seating when it warms up a bit. Service was also good and attentive.
We had dinner here for our anniversary and everything was perfect! From the second we walked in the door we were greeted with such kindness from the staff. We ordered the shrimp wontons to start and for dinner my husband got the pork schnitzel and I had the short rib pasta. Both dishes exceeded our expectations! After dinner we headed up to the rooftop for dessert and drinks at their rooftop bar. The prayer of st Francis and the gluttony were delicious. It was a little hot up there, but they had fans on which made it bearable. Can't wait to go back!
I was at Grace for lunch. The food was excellent. I had Meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Very tender and delicious. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Lois was friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely be back !
The mother Clucker sandwich is awesome. The Wagyu meatloaf, mashed potatoes with duck fat gravy and collard greens is amazing.
While visiting the area, we heard this was the place for a good meal. The team at Grace did a great job all night. We sat at the bar ahead of our reservation, and KB took great care of us until we sat at our table. Our waitress took over, and Lois also did a great job. There were 5 of us tonight. She ordered an appetizer, the west indies bruschetta, and we each got one, very tasty, and the crab was very fresh. Next, she and one other guest ordered the cobia special basmati rice and squash medly with pecan meuniere. This was delicious. I ordered the shrimp and blue crab manicotti with a squash medly with a risotto cake and a side of crawfish and sausage mac n cheese. Wow, the manacotti was amazing, very hot, and cooked perfectly. The mac n cheese...well, the ingredients say it all, but it was also awesome. Our other two guests ordered the rib eye steak with fries but asked them to be cooked medium well done... but they enjoyed them. Because the desserts sounded so good, we got two to share. The ricotta cheesesake with rasberry sauce is creamy and tasty. We also got the white chocolate bread pudding, a perfect end to an exceptional meal. The southern hospitality was in full swing here. Parking was not bad for a downtown area. If you are a local or visiting, this place is worth visiting. If you like great service and food like we do, this is the place. We will come again next time we are in town.
Grace restaurant in Mobile was exquisite. The ambiance was elegant, the food was exceptional, and the service was impeccable. Mike went beyond our expectations with his friendly, courteous and funny demeanor. He provided excellent service, knew the menu well, and offered great options for us as first-time visitors. The duck salad was amazing! The food is made from scratch, and the hand-crafted cocktails are sinfully delicious. They also have a rooftop bar, which adds to the charm. The Lump Crabmeat & Fried Green Tomato is to die for, and the Roasted Duck Spinach Salad with blue cheese, toasted pecans, onion, and bacon balsamic vinaigrette is outstanding. We can’t leave out the dessert Strawberry Shortcake….it was delicious!! Every detail contributed to a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended!
This was such a great experience! The bar area downstairs was nice but my husband and I were on a trip for our anniversary and wanted something muted and quieter so we ate on the rooftop. It also has a bar area but it was quieter and lovely. It was also kid-friendly so when we return for another visit we’ll be taking our toddler there. As for the food, I don’t like fish but the shrimp wontons were AHMAZING! Their steak, asparagus, and blue cheese mashed potatoes were to die for. The steak was cooked to perfection. Alex, our waiter, was attentive, polite, and friendly. Prices were very reasonable. We almost went somewhere fancier because we were dressed up for a show at the Saenger Theatre but we were so glad we chose to try Grace!!
The service is outstanding. The food is even better, and the dim lighting makes it great for a date night, but it is great for groups as well. It's not really aimed at families with young children, as it is a bar, but it's definitely not a rowdy bar. It is the type of bar you might want to put a nice shirt or button up on for. The average entree is about $25-$45 each, so it's definitely not cheap, but it is worth every penny. I was upset that they sold out of the lamb before I got there, but the duck breast I had instead was amazing. The wine menu is great, the cocktail menu is pretty good, but the bananas foster tres Leche cake was so good, I can't get over it. The only thing I hated was parking. There was no parking. My wife and I had to park and walk about a mile to get there, but it was worth it.
ASHLEYYYYYY WAS PURE SUNSHINE!!!! Service was top notch & the food was amazing. The fried green tomatoesand spinach/artichoke dip was spot on. We both got the filet, blue cheese mashed potatoes & grilled asparagus. The filet was grilled to perfection. The atmosphere was peaceful, loved that live plants were in the entry way & great music was playing. Will definitely be back. Make sure you ask for ASHLEY 🤩
Katrina was absolutely amazing. From the moment I walked into Grace for my first visit, she made me feel so welcomed and at home. She was incredibly helpful, attentive, and genuinely kind—and on top of that, she’s stunning. She truly made the experience special, and I’ll definitely be back because of her.
1st time here, pretty big downtown Mobile "hole-in-the-wall", but Not! Roof top dining, a lot inside, had questions & the chef/Owner came out to answer them, kudos 👏 extremely helpful! Pork chops were on point 🤌hubs liked his steak &Bleu cheese mashed potatoes! Grilled broccolini left us all a bit wanting 🤷♀️, everything else really was delicious 😋 Saturday night, so it did get loud hah, maybe we're old for the area & time-frame 😬😂they opened the windows too & the pretty sheer drapes did nothing to keep the flies or the blinding sun out, didn't completely ruin the experience, just could've been better for sure!
We had a wonderful girl's night. The wonderful roof top bar and eatery is inviting with sunset. The only negative was the greasy Truffle fries. They didn't appear to have Truffle looked and tasted like skinny fries. But everything else West Indies and mushrooms absolutely delicious! We really enjoyed ourselves.
Food and service are amazing. One of the busiest weekends in Mobile (Mardi Gras). We shared the Fish sandwich and the Mother Clucker chicken sandwich. Both were delicious.
This is a fantastic restaurant in downtown Mobile. We enjoyed our time on the rooftop. We had an event for 30 that was handled exceptionally well. The planning with Emily was effortless and event was lovely. All of the food was delicious exceeding expectations. The crawfish Mac and Cheese was complimented often. The wontons and street tacos were spot on. All of our guests commented on both the beauty and taste our cake made by Kaila. We enjoyed our time here and would choose Grace again and again.
While most of the food was just good, not great, we really enjoyed ourselves. Our waitress was super awesome, giving us advice and answering questions. We had 4 different appetizers, fries and duck, fried green tomatoes with crab meat, mushrooms, and roasted pork belly. The mushrooms were the best, in my opinion. The others were good, but every one of them could have used something either more flavor or not as greasy. We did enjoy our visit and look forward to eating there again. The cheesecake... BOOM. So good. Needed more strawberries though.
Absolutely wonderful food, service, & atmosphere! Our waitress from Wisconsin was so sweet and everything we had (shrimp wontons, blackened filet appetizer, chicken, osso buco) was amazing! Perfect date night spot.
Food is top notch for both brunch and dinner. Service is great. Have gone with a couple of friends, a Dinner and Brunch Club and held a graduation dinner there for one of my sons. Always great service and food, whether for a party of five or 16! Roof top or downstairs. Had ribeye with Bleu cheese crust for one dinner... divine. Brunch, tried: French toast, fish and grits... delicious. Good coffee, too!
Food in Mobile has certainly gotten better with more variety. Not suggesting it was ever bad ... It's only gotten better. Grace is one of those better things. The Braised Short Rib Ragout is amazingly good. Pasta was perfectly cooked. If you like short ribs, you won't be disappointed. This really is a great dish. Makes sure you save some bread to soak that amazing sauce !!! The desert I wasn't expecting was the banana foster tres leche cake. I live in San Antonio TX so lots of examples of tres leche cake from amazing to tourist trap garbage. Being from Mobile originally, I was intrigued so I got it. Well ... Wow ... That is some good tres leche cake. Be warned it is sweet though. Possibly on the slightly too sweet side ... But if I come back to Grace one day, I'll will be looking for this cake. The creme brulee was also good ... But that Cake !! Apologies for lighting. Pics did not come out like I normally like.
I've been racking my brain... By the way there's an Alabama racking horse...which is how my brain feels, this speed of hooves turning n moving with alacrity. I cannot encompass "Grace" in those quips and easily slipped, skipped, bouncy eloquent words that I'm searching for. I have many, they do injustice. Sweet. Relaxed. Smooth. Genuine. Powerful. Creative. Sublime. Joyful. The words are not enough. The whole family came to dine. Also they are insistent that I do justice to the table experience. Which I'll soundly risk the attempt and miserable I'll feel at a loss. The staff are experienced, interactive, attentive. We had beautiful food and plenty of choices arrayed on the table. Everyone (of which we had several very serious people who are particularly difficult to please with chefs skills) adored the experience and the food. We had appetizers of mushroom stuffed with veal and goat cheese, steak filet with a classic hunters sauce (if you know those I'll give you chef points 👍👏 there is a series of them, hunters sauces. Such sauces are for the master of a kitchen not a novice 🫣) pork belly n Brussels sprouts wontons. We had bread to the table. Wine, and cocktails (try any of them...I want to take the menu home and experiment for days). We had lamb shank osso bucco with saffron risotto, steak with asparagus, branzino pan seared with pecan butter reduction (meuniere, that duke...always making delicious stuff) fettuccine with chicken and peppers, pork chop with a classic bearnaise sauce, and a duck n spinach salad. Ok, this is a highly beloved restaurant by locals, it should be a Destination on your travels in the south. Husband refused salt or pepper, had the tear...that withheld tear in the corner of his eye, which for years has been my Achilles heel and my achievement alone. I truly, for a small second was heartbroken n a bit jellyfish 🪼 green 💚. I swear, that tear is like a Michelin ⭐...it has rarely occurred. My andouille n duck gumbo, hubbys deer chili, and a very elite few other flavors has 'caused it, once one of my creme pate choux in lavender honey and dark chocolate was given a watered eye. I digress, Mobile has a restaurant that takes the gateaux. 🤝👏👏👏👏👏 I cannot flourish more accolades, you need to be ready for beautiful food and take my word, it's worth it.
We went for dinner to say bye to a friend who is leaving town after a long stay with us. It look to be a great place for a fancy dinner to show her that we love her. Food was great, the lamb was falling of the bone, and spinach artichoke appetizer was delicious and steaming hot! Be careful! I had the old fashioned, and its was awesome! Also, tried the Dirty martini with extra olives stuffed with blue cheese. The ribeye was good but not the best I had, I did like the blue cheese crusted topper, and the mushrooms. I feel the asparagus had too much pepper on them making them too heavy on the spice side. The names of the foods and drinks are Grace inspired which made it fun. I recommend.
The atmosphere was very chill and relaxing. Jade, our waitress, was great. The food was top notch but be prepared to pay for a good meal. We started with the crab fried green tomatoes, then I had the half chicken and my husband had the 16oz Ribeye. It was definitely worth the cost. Grace made for a great date night for my husband and me.
Exemplary dishes complemented by a smooth atmosphere. The drinks are conversation worthy and the staff are well versed in their field. I love the fact they open up the large screen letting in the night air. The price is worth paying. If you want an excellent night out with food you'll remember come here.
From the second you walk in, the vibe hits. It’s elevated without being stuffy, stylish without trying too hard. The lighting, the energy, the way the bar hums, it feels like the kind of place you want to linger. Date night? Perfect. Girls’ night? Dangerous (in the best way). Business dinner? You’ll look like you know what you’re doing. The cocktails? Next level. Thoughtful, balanced, and beautifully presented… not just thrown together. You can tell there’s real creativity behind the bar. Everything feels intentional, from the glassware to the garnish. It’s giving big-city polish right here on Dauphin Street. And the food? Fresh, flavorful, and plated like someone actually cares. Every dish tastes like it was designed, not just cooked. You can feel the attention to detail. But what truly sets Grace apart is the service. The staff is knowledgeable, attentive, and warm without hovering. They make you feel like you’re supposed to be there. Like you’re in on something special. Grace isn’t just another restaurant in Mobile, it’s an experience. It’s where you go when you want to impress, celebrate, or just remind yourself that yes, this city can absolutely deliver. 10/10 for sure
We were in town for a weekend and happened across Grace and decided to give a try for dinner. I cant think of a single thing negative to say. The menu had a great variety, the staff was friendly and restaurant was impeccably clean from the front door to the restrooms. The staff was well dressed, well mannered and well trained. The food was fresh, tasty, well presented and delivered timely. We will definitely visit Grace again on our next visit to Mobile.
An Unforgettable 50th Birthday Celebration at Grace 5 Stars - Exceptional Experience Grace restaurant in downtown Mobile exceeded every expectation when they hosted my wife's surprise 50th birthday party for roughly 60 guests. From start to finish, this elegant establishment delivered a flawless celebration that left both us and our guests thoroughly impressed. Outstanding Food & Service The culinary experience was nothing short of exceptional. Every dish that emerged from their kitchen was expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The stuffed mushrooms were an absolute hit - rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. But the real crowd favorite had to be the steak tacos, which had guests raving throughout the evening. The quality and taste of every item exceeded what you'd expect even from a high-end establishment like Grace. What truly set the evening apart was their impeccable service. The staff anticipated every need without being intrusive. Drinks never sat empty, food stations were consistently replenished, and our guests never wanted for anything. The team's professionalism and attention to detail allowed us to focus entirely on celebrating with family and friends. Perfect Private Dining Space The private dining room at Grace strikes the ideal balance - intimate enough for meaningful conversation and celebration, yet still connected to the vibrant energy of the main restaurant. Our guests felt like they were part of something special rather than tucked away in a sterile banquet room. The ambiance was sophisticated and warm, creating the perfect backdrop for milestone celebration. A Night to Remember Grace didn't just host our party; they helped create memories that will last a lifetime. The combination of exceptional cuisine, attentive service, and elegant atmosphere made this 50th birthday celebration everything we hoped it would be. Our guests are still talking about what a wonderful evening it was. If you're looking for a restaurant that can handle special occasions with style and grace (no pun intended), look no further than Grace in downtown Mobile. They've set the bar incredibly high for future celebrations. I Highly recommended it for special occasions, private dining, or anyone seeking just an exceptional culinary experience here in Downtown Mobile
Crab on top of fried green tomatoes was the best I've ever had. Carbonara pasta was amazing and grilled asparagus was perfectly cooked. My husband had the blackened grouper which was also perfectly seasoned and cooked. Ended things with cheesecake that was so silky smooth and fresh. Our waiter was very informed and on spot with service. We will definitely be back again and again.
After reading some mixed reviews we decided to try out Grace. We went up to the rooftop bar and were not disappointed. Jason was an excellent server and hustled even though he was extremely busy. Our drinks were top notch and the two appetizers we tried were delicious. I highly recommend the wontons.
The food was good, although our group don’t really like the crab claw or the mushroom appetizer. The mains were great. The drinks are lovey, the atmosphere is so nice, and our server Lance was an absolute gem who was probably the most efficient server I’ve ever had!
Despite waiting a long time for the food this place is worth it. Welcoming staff, great clean atmosphere. Nice booths & decor. The breakfast sandwhich was delicious as was the bacon. Collards had alot of vinegar but still good. My friend loved the chorizo and potato bowl.
It was nice food, had a salad. Top deck was closed due to server shortage. Maybe better atmosphere up in the deck, but downstairs was standard.
Grace was excellent! They offer fabulous cocktails, delicious food and desserts. The bread pudding was some of the best we've ever had. Our service was great. Highly recommend.
We stopped in on a rainy night after seeing the Mardi Gras parades nearby. This is a nice, comfortable place - feels like an upscale bar. The food and drinks were very good and service was excellent. We weren't able to experience the upper deck due to the weather. The prices were on the higher side and I never understand the extra charge for using a credit card. These merchant fees have been around forever and should be built into the menu's pricing. All-in-all, though, this is a good place that I would definitely try again.
We went to Grace at the recommendation of a friend as part of an anniversary staycation. Our initial plan was to have drinks and dinner on their rooftop but it was closed due to the weather. We ordered oysters to start. They were fresh and so delicious that we ordered a second round. For our entrees we had the burger with truffle fries. The burger was AMAZING. Juicy and perfectly seasoned. As were the fries! 10/10. We will go back for those. My husband however, ordered the duck. It was completely one note and tasted fully of smoke. Nothing else. It was difficult for him to stomach. It was a disappointing end to how the meal started. Now we know to avoid that entree so we will return!
Nice place for date night. The tabletops all have nice little lamps which make for a soft glow and cozy atmosphere. There are large t.v.’s at the bar area so if that’s your thing a guess it’s a good place to watch a game. Apps were delicious , wantons & wedge salad. I had a burger that was on the special menu & my wife had the beef pasta. My burger was decent despite being over cooked. My wife’s pasta dish was very soupy (not what we expected), however she liked it and it was very flavorful! We will definitely be back. Can’t wait to try the roof top dining experience when the weather cools off more!
First time visiting. It was recommended in travel magazines and locals in Mobile. We all tried something different. I think the only person that enjoyed the food the most was the person who got the mother clucker chicken sandwich. Meatloaf sandwich was nothing special. Po boy was very dry.
Food was good, a lot of dishes had pecans and blue cheese or gorgonzola. Appetizers - wontons were good. Fried green tomatoes were good, but heavy on the sauce. The service started strong, but was lacking. Since the menu is seasonal, I would try again later, bit would not go back for the existing selections.
Got to try the new place out, I will say nice concept, atmosphere is pretty cool, The top rooftop bar awesome! Our food was good I had the lamb shank osso bucco, which fires on all cylinders. And she had the 8 oz fillet. Everything was tasty. However it was very, very ,noisy as there is no sound barriers to break up the noise pollution. The ambience could be a little bit better, If I'm paying that much for food I don't want to feel like I'm in a bar setting. But as far as taste, spot on! We also had the fried green tomatoes with lump crab meat, and the scallops with couscous. But the favorite of the night was the lamb Osso bucco. Oh I also had the Prayer of St. Francis cocktail. You should definitely give this place a try, I know I will try it again.
My partner took me here after coming here themselves in August, and introduced me to some of their favorite dishes from their previous experience. We mainly ordered starters, and that was enough in helping me make a decision on how I'd rate this place. Among all the starters, my favorite was the blue crab claws, primarily because it had a very nice white wine butter sauce that was elevated by garlic, shallots, and cherry tomatoes that provided a ton of flavor. Not only did the crab claws tasted great in the sauce, but also I used some of the bread from the bruschetta to dip in the sauce. Another favorite was the fried green tomatoes which had a good amount of crabmeat along with champagne crème that elevated the taste. In between dishes, the mocktail Rosey Cheeks served as a great palate cleanser because of the rose water, which had very strong taste. The bruschetta was great as well, with a good amount of crabmeat included along with enough balsamic vinegar. There wasn't enough olive oil or basil, though, which made it a bit worse than expected. The crawfish and sausage mac & cheese was too plain because it didn't seem like the layers under the top were seasoned enough. The chef's fish sandwich had too much tartar sauce, and even if the tartar sauce tasted good, the fish itself didn't really taste seasoned. The Grace Pink Drink under the mocktail section tasted a bit watered down, because it didn't taste enough like any of the ingredients listed, ranging from watermelon Redbull to guava syrup. Overall I think this place has some solid food and I am open to visiting in the future when I am back in Mobile. Next time, I would love to try some of their large plates or just dishes from their dinner menu, which seemed to be highlights according to other customers.
We had a family Christmas lunch at Grace on a Saturday. The atmosphere was great. Half of our party stated their meal was excellent the other half said it was just OK. The winning meal was the steak. It was excellent. We had the butternut squash soup and it was yummy. We also loved their version of crab Rangoon app. Our waitress did a good job but seemed slow to check in and had to be asked to provide certain needed items ie:steak knife. I feel like she was newer and will get the hang of things soon enough. Great downtown venue for a larger party.
It took 42 minutes from the time we got our appetizers to the time we got our entrees- both 2 med rare steaks. The steaks with the Gorgonzola crust were amazing. The lump crab and fried green tomatoes were different. I was expecting lump crab pieces, but it was more like crab chowder over fried green tomatoes.
Let's start by saying the rooftop bar was amazing and serves this restaurant well. It is not really geared for handicapped because there's not an elevator to access it. They did tell us upfront. The staff took good care of us. We had a party of 8. Now to the food. It took way longer than I really thought it should have to get our food. It was like nothing was seasoned. I had the Scallops with Couscous. There was absolutely no flavor. I tried my wife's fried green tomatoes with lump crabmeat, it was bland too. Our cousin ordered the duck. The duck could have really used some salt & pepper. ...the soup stole the show. The soup was AMAZING!
The filet was excellent! Mashed potatoes were flavorless The pear salad was delicious I asked for bread service but was told nothing was available. Wanted to try dessert but was told another table ordered all the desserts The first server disappeared. The second server kept asking if we wanted the check I wouldn’t go back based on service and limited availability of items
The roof top has a great views and is a great place to have a few drinks. The shortcomings here are the food. Downstairs has a nice fine dining feel, and the menu has a fine dining price, but the food falls very shore for the cost. Food is overpriced and bland and honestly just lacks the presentation at the price they charge Bottom line, I would highly recommend the rooftop for drinks after you have had dinner somewhere else.
I picked this restaurant for our anniversary dinner. And it was terrible. I had the steak salad, the steak was overcooked, and croutons should not have okra in them. My husband's food was not good either. The rooftop is nice to sit and have a drink.
Our server was great. The atmosphere was nice. A little loud for my taste. Especially with the Harleys and the hot rods revving their engines as they go by the open windows. The macaroni and cheese was very good. The rest of the food was just plain. It wasn’t bad, just plain. It was described well on the menu and plated very well but the flavor was just flat. When you drop nearly $300 for 5 people you really want the food to blow you away. If service and atmosphere are your main priorities then no worries.
Cool spot uptop drinks ehh food ehh bartender fell tables were dirty we sat down and IT took 29 minutes before cleaning our table.... then 10 more to get our drinks.. cool place but the staff needs help... the bartender with muscl was very shakey and even fell down. HMMMMM drinking on the job.....just what i saw. And it doesn't look good on GRACE!!!!! POINT _ . NUFFSAID
We came for date night. I wish I had read some of the other reviews. I agree the duck was dry. My boyfriend loved the burger. We also had the stuffed mushrooms which were ok. I didn’t understand why the entrees you have to pay extra for side but then some options come with sides. Seems like a way to get more money from you. The drinks are where it’s at!! We had a couple each and they were all amazing! The desserts were great as well. I will say the service was outstanding! Our server was spot on all evening and other servers as checked on us and refilled our glasses before they were half way gone.
The first waitress we had was nice but they had to do a shift change or something. The second one was tailoring to the table next to us and ignore us completely. I waited for 20-25 minutes before I had to get his attention and asked him who is out waiter now because of the shift change and he had no clue who since nobody since they did shift change. We asked for salt and pepper to come out with our food and never got it. We wanted something other than water that's non alcoholic and never got it. The food did come out quickly at least but I'm sorry but the food isn't that good. The place was a cute little establishment. I just felt like it could been better. We will never come back nor will I recommend anyone to go. I am truly sad about our experience.
We arrived around 6pm to find the restaurant very quiet and only a couple of tables filled. Ashleigh was our server. We ordered the wontons which tasted okay nothing special. For the entree we ordered the double cut porkchop with asparagus and mashed taters. This is where the story takes a disappointing turn. The porkchop on 1 side had very heavy grill marks and tasted like charred meat as if they forgot to flip it. could not taste any seasonings on the opposite side. the mashed potatoes has so much butter on them I can only hope they have enough left to finish out the night. We barely ate any of the meal. When Ashleigh came to check on us she never asked how it was or why we didnt eat much of it. My wife asked for a to go box because she didnt want to hunt anyone’s feelings. For the prices they charge way way more options with better food and service. I did not bother asking for a manager due to the atmosphere and lack luster attitude of employee.
Is the food great? —only aspirational… Unfortunate, but never again. You can find much better options.
Great service great atmosphere ordered wet beef ribeye and filet steak was hard burnt and extremely dry honestly worst than a waffle house steak bill was 111$ waste of money. Ill never eat there again should have went to Ruth Chris with that price. Texas Roadhouse steak is 10 times better.Wanted to get my money back but just fed it to my dog and the server was a great guy
Food is hit or miss. My biggest complaint is they never have a beer list, the servers don't know anything about the beers they have, and it makes it really awkward to try to order beer.
I ordered the BLTP for lunch. The bacon was supposed to be applewood smoked. It arrived completely covered in pepper. The pimento was super spicy. No mention of spice in the menu description. I couldn't finish the first bite without coughing and drinking water. I ordered the mashed potatoes with blue cheese and received greasy, cold shoestring fries. Waitress corrected this. No blue cheese in these potatoes. Sent the BLPT back and ordered a steamed ham and cheese. It came quickly and the waitress stated that the chef said "yea, it's pimento, there's gonna be a kick." Well there should be a kick in SPICY pimento, not regular pimento. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE! And if you are serving spicy, then put it in the description in the menu. The ham and cheese wasn't even warm. Don't understand this "chef." My sister ordered the meatloaf and it was disgusting!! It tasted like wet bread. Worst meatloaf ever. Restaurant is pretty and clean. Waitress was o.k.- Grace- she stated this was her 2nd week there. Owners need to eat their own product to check for quality. Your chef is not good. Replace him/her and save your business.
The atmosphere is nice. I ate on the roof and it was a good view. My disappointment came from my order which was a salad + shrimp, and brocollini. The ceaser salad was approximately $15 with the shrimp it was an additional $12, so approximately $30+. The salad included only FOUR shrimp for $12!! Insanely overpriced and unfulfilling. For $30 I definitely expected better. There's no way I would've ordered shrimp if I'd known the price only included four. The brocollini was extremely charred. Not edible at all. They did, however remove this from the bill after it was brought to the server's attention. For a first experience it wasn't the best (food wise), but the staff were pleasant and the overall atmosphere would bring me back for drinks at the least.
Service was decent, food was okay, we had a group of 7 everyone one paid separate except for my husband and I. We only got one meal and split with drinks, once we got our ticket we noticed our bill was $138. As my husband was looking, he realized gratuity had been added of 55 percent! After our friends were looking, they noticed they were also charged 55 percent gratuity!!! Check your receipts!!
We just left and will now never EVER return. We were sitting on the ruff top all we did was order drinks and the server just snapped at us. My dad asked for a beer on tap. The server said we only server that downstairs. My dad said. Well that's ridiculous 🙄 the surver said why is that ridiculous. And my dad said So I can go downstairs and get it but you can't. She threw the menu's on the table and said I ain't gonna do dis! She told another surver something and we just decided.. we needed to move on. So we did. As we were leaving the restaurant and she called us racist. Why? I don't get it. There was nothing about the situation that was racist. She was being if anything. Sad. Very sad 😔 The food was good a year ago... haven't had it since
We arrived at 12:40… Didn’t receive our food until 2:15 When I received my salad, it tasted sour. I was unable to eat it. They did give us half off due to our experience. Our server was kind.
While the place is nice and our waitress was okay the food and drink was highway robbery! I cant believe we wasted so much money thinking maybe it was a fluke on apps and drinks so we got entrees and deserts. People say it's decent food but there is absolutely no flavor in the food and the alcohol is watered down. I have never been so sober drinking burbon on the rocks. It was watered down. The duck had so much fat on it I chewed for days. Horrible, horrible waste of money. Much better places exist in Mobile if you want to spend this much money. Only nice part is the decor/location but its not worth it.
I was excited for a date night with my fiancée after seeing the menu one night. I wish I had never come, the food was mediocre and the drink were so watered down I was amazed they thought it acceptable to charge over ten dollars for them. Tried to give them the benefit of the doubt after the appetizers and I regret that choice. For a dinner bill over 150 dollars I walked away with sure regret and lack of joy. The waitress was super nice and didn’t make us feel over looked but watering down drinks for that price is crazy. I wish I had had a better experience but now I know I will never go here again.
Becareful using your debit card at this business, after only having a few drinks the bartender decided to give themselves a 43 dollar tip after I had already closed out my tab. I'm in the process of disputing the charges with my bank. SAVE YOUR RECEIPT !!!
DONT GET THEIR STEAK! BURNT DRY HORRIBLE! Somehow the cottage cheese mash is best thing i ate and I don't eat cottage cheese at all. I had a group of 6 paid 400 and well never eat there again. I see why they were dead! The cook was horrible. Maybe another cook would be better but I won't be finding out... Also their asparagus was burnt i put it in my mouth it was so dry it swelled making a sizzling noise that soaked up all the saliva to where it made my mouth dry and left an after taste lol. The mix drinks were not that good either my long island top shelf tasted like gas and vinegar. I wanted to almost cry from my experience... if you come I hope yours is better... They do not have a baby friendly environment either. Nothing to sit kids in at all. The scene was nice and dark with music i guess it is a good tone for a casual meal. The waiter was great I tipped him 41 which was a decent tip for me anyways... I normally leave 20 max other than when I have higher bills. I normally take pictures but I was so disappointed in this experience...
The wait staff was nice. Three tables came in after us and got their food before us. We were only a table of two. We waited an hour and a half before we finally got our food. I will never dine here again. They did take half off of our bill but that honestly doesn’t make up for losing so much time since we were traveling.
