Manager was actively training cashiers. They were so friendly. Another employee helped my wife with getting a high chair all the way to the seat. They brought our order to our table with every condiment, napkins and out whole order perfect. And he asked to make sure everything was perfect and if there was anything else he could get us. Best service I've had at a mcdonalds
The guy in the Baylor shirt was so nice and made sure he pronounced my name right AND they lined up my nuggets all cutesy in the box. happiest moment of my life

The updates to this location are nice. Never have issues here with order accuracy, but sometimes, when it's busy, the wait can build, but that's not out of the ordinary. I also like the ordering kiosks they make ordering and customizing food very easy. Also the value menu is a great deal!
The friendliness of the front of store employees was above and beyond with customer service. We were asked several times if we were happy with our order. After ordering a kids meal burger we forgot to order it plain and dry. The employees remade it according to child’s wishes.
Rashon is very kind and professional, he took my order and even asked if I wanted anything else s drink to wash it down with. Great customer service. That's rare in fast food these days.
The best McDonald's I have ever been to. The guy that always takes my order is so nice, and LaCreda (I think that's her name) bagged up my breakfast with such care. She went above and beyond to make sure I had all that I would need before I left. Also, the food has been excellent at this location. I stopped eating McDonald's years ago, I have been trying it again for breakfast, and it has been fresh and hot every time.
Everytime I come to this McDonald’s everyone is so nice and I get my food fast! I came around 4pm on 4/27 and every single person who helped me was more than nice. I had interactions with 4 different people.

I visited this location during the lunch rush and it was PACKED!!!! I really think the team working under their manager, Henrietta (I hope I spelled that right) worked extremely well together! She really worked hard WITH her team and they knocked it out like it was nothing! Huge kudos to this team!

The individual working the drive thru right after opening on 8/26 was so pleasant to interact with! Order was accurate, food was hot.
Usually this location is pretty awesome, but yesterday morning they messed up my order which ruined my breakfast, but I was already at work, but I called immediately. Brianna was very professional and politely invited me to come in at anytime before 6pm, which I did and they made me a fresh hot n tasty breakfast at 4:30 in the evening. Thanks Brianna, and your staff(that didn't ruin my breakfast 😉) lol
Slightly understaffed this morning but usually it's fairly quick receiving meals. Most of the morning staff is friendly and provides good customer service. A little slow getting meals today but I understand the manager was working drive thru and front counter. He definitely did the best he could under the circumstances.
Overall I would say that the location on 5th Street has pretty good food and good service. It's burning way better than the McDonald's in bellmead. However, it seems like every location you go to their ice cream machine is down. Even if it's just for a chocolate shake every single time. If it's a matter of cleaning the machine and they just don't want to do it at night put a sign up that says night time we do not sell ice cream or shakes, but I don't want to go to Sonic and have to take out a second mortgage for a chocolate shake when I could go to McDonald's and get one. To me I think it's pure laziness at night, the night crew doesn't want to clean all the mechanics of it and everything else and that's why they don't sell it at night. Please 5th Street McDonald's prove me wrong on this.
There was a lot of seating, very spacious and clean. Bathrooms were very clean too. Cashier was very nice and fast. Received my food in a very timely manner. The food was just as you would expect from McDonald's, it wasn't amazing but it was okay. I would definitely come here again if I needed a quick and adequate meal.
An update, one week later, the long wait in line issue has been fixed (read below). In fact I didn't have time to put the change back in my wallet and the food was ready for pickup, very hot and fresh. Good job management..... (One week earlier), This was my second visit to this location in a week. On both occasions (about 1:30 pm) the drive thru was very slow. I was behind three cars on both occasions and it seemed like it took much longer than I have ever waited with a much longer line. I didn't time the wait because I didn't anticipate that long of a wait. I can only assume they are training new staff, if not management should be concerned.
Outside line very long. Went to inside Kiosok screen—which was a little confusing. Do not like or use apps. Not wild abt self-ordering. So moving more to mom/pop to support local economy.
After my last visit 7 months ago I did not intend to return to this location, however my daughter wanted to go so we did. It was a major improvement compared to the last visit the food was hot the order was made correctly. The staff was helpful with modification of the order as how I like mine can not be done at the kiosk. Unlike last time I did not hear the staff Cussing and arguing with customers, when not busy they were walking around interacting with customer which I honestly do not expect from a fast food establishment.
It's fast food so if they are a good place to eat they get 3⭐. I went through the drive thru, and the young lady taking my order has the best voice, she was patient, easy to understand when she spoke, and was very polite. I didn't get her name but she had very long curly hair (I think red or purple, and she was wearing a BU jacket), I was there at about 7pm on 11/11/25, so that you can recognize her. The food was good, and prepared very quickly, which I appreciated, as the McDs by my home in Robinson is not very fast. Well done to all 3 young ladies who were working the windows.
The food was good, but the service was awful. It's seemed as though the employees were not happy to be working. No one acknowledged you and the service was so very slow. Eventually, the rest of the morning crew came in and it started flowing better.
I never have had a issue and I go here least once a week or 2. Today they tried to charge me for ranch, when I picked up my mobile order. Yes, it was already included on my order and free through the app. The person at the window still gave it to me but still. Management do better!!

Had to wait about 15 minutes in the lobby for my food. Staff was not the friendliest. My Mc rib sandwich was smothered in sauce so bad that the bun was soggy. It really doesn’t need to be drowning in sauce. Which sadly it made it very messy to eat.
It took a while before our order was taken inside the establishment. Then it took at least 15 minutes to get our order. They were booking it in the back. I will give them that. But it seemed like the hustle was for the drive-thru thru not for the orders placed inside the restaurant. The employees were friendly and the establishment looked clean. I just don't feel it should take that long to get your to-go order from inside the restaurant. We only ordered 3 fries, small nuggets, a cheeseburger burger, 2 drinks and a Whopper.
No customer service. I watched another group calling back to the kitchen asking for service. Employees just kept ignoring them. When an employee had to find out if the kitchen you get supplies, the customers stored get and asked if anyone could take their orders. She responded, "We're busy and there are only three of us." Hope they figure it out.
They keep all the lights off in the morning so they look closed, the lady was rude, and yall really upcharge $0.30 for a SMALL coffee? I don't eat McDonald's often but it was the only thing open next time I'll just skip breakfast.
Me and my family have had the worst experiences with this certain mcdonald’s. The service is super slow and they always seem to forget something. Their is also no way of getting the missing items unless you wanna wait in line another 30 minutes, just for the first round of food to get cold. I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but every experience has been the worst. I definitely don’t recommend this location.
It's McDonald's, and their service has declined everywhere over the years. Their food appearance has become sloppy. They just throw things together hastily now due to their expanded popularity. I've learned not to expect much anymore. The food tastes fair for the price. They are usually very fast, and you'll always be missing 1-2 items. However, my kids love the place and kids don't have any expectations other than playing and getting the toy in their kids' meal. But they're kids, so yeah. The staff at EVERY McDonald's is pathetic. Attitudes are horrible like they're only there working because they have to, and they have no regard for anything other than getting to the end of their shift. People, food quality/appearance, and experience/ambiance at McDonald's don't matter to the staff. This is the attitude everywhere now at Mickey D's. But it's McDonald's, and everyone has accepted the new low standards. Long as our kids continue to love you McDonald's, you'll always be around.
McDonald’s is as devoid of personality as anything can be. The few people who work in the stores who come into contact with customers are, seemingly, incapable of basic human interaction. I get it. Their job is dreadful, their pay is pathetic, and there is little, if any, incentive to engage customers in conversations. But, good grief, does McDonals intend their restaurants to have the warmth of a Soviet gulag? If so, mission accomplished.
I really have been very uncomfortable with eating at McDonald's after all the Acquisitions of human DNA in a and everything else is in the food the company actually has not had any kind of feedback on that or try to defend himself bad attitudes terrible food
Just ordered a Qtr pounder Deluxe meal with frozen Dr pepper. Of course the Dr pepper was out. Settled for Frozen Coke. Pulled up to wait for my fresh DELUX.. smh got a fresh Qtr pndr with cheese... oh well. After a long day in jury duty. I'm just hungry. But MCDONALD'S... FOR $10. YOU NEED TO DO BETTER!!! French fries were good and hot. 👍

They lack in customer service,very rude. Also the person that took our payment wanted us to drive back around just to get some fries and wouldn't just add them to the order when there was no other cars..he said he was already taking someone else's order...no multi tasking skills..
First off I shouldn't even be eating this junk. The prices are getting ridiculous. When you go in the restaurant no one takes your order anymore because they want you to use a kiosk. The vibe I used to get as a kid going to McDonald's is gone.
This is gross. I stopped in to pick up a doordash order and since I knew I would have to wait a few minutes I was gonna take a restroom break. This is the women's restroom and almost always like this or worse. Their excuse is oh that's why we have maintenance. Not a single employee knows how to go clean a restroom.
Hispanic GM (lady) very very very unprofessional. Called corporate on Lake Air. Never received call back. She definitely train her employees to be rude as well. Or maybe they just don't like their little job. Who knows but in cs you should have cs
I've been here only twice in my life and that was twice too many. These people are rude! I placed a mobile order for breakfast a few minutes before 10:30 and had to wait in the drive thru line. Once I gave the code, the clock was a minute over 10:30. They then took the opportunity to say they were serving lunch. I was on site, order was in before the deadline, and they rub it in with no apology. What a joke. I'll stick to other locations down the road and glady burn the gas.
Waited in drive thru on Christmas Eve for 6 cars (only 1 line was open). When it was our turn to order at 8:55 they allowed the second lane to open for someone then no one would speak to us at 9pm and then closed. I totally understand that the drive thru needs to close at some point. But when we drove around to explain the situation and some guy mouthed go home and the manager lied and said they were closed since 8pm but we watched everyone before us get served. I don't expect great customer service but common human decency and not treating customers like the lowest common denominator :(.
Just left this place. When we ordered at the window, the lady cut us off before we could finish. When we went to the window, we were handed one bag and the window was closed on us. Not a word or anything. We didn’t get all our food, not even what we ordered. After receiving and returning multiple bags of food that didn’t belong to us, we were told to park and they would bring our order to us. After waiting nearly 20 minutes, my husband goes inside to investigate. He spoke with a manager and they did nothing for us, just told us that the food had been sent out. They brought the bag to the car window and I noticed we were missing a hash brown, so he had to go BACK inside and all they did was give us two cold hash browns. When we finally start to eat our food, what was meant to be an egg white delight was a sausage patty with an egg on it. The egg white had yolk all IN IT, but it was still wrapped in an egg white delight wrapper. This place is horrendous and some drastic measures need to be taken to better service its customers. McDonalds food is not worth the money or hassle. We were given no compensation. Very poor customer service. Don’t bother going here.
There’s been multiple times I’ve gone to the drive through and will sit there for 5 minutes (sometimes more) with no one saying anything to take my order. No “I’ll be right with you” or anything. Which I don’t understand because they just took the persons order before me. Whenever it’s happened I get too frustrated to wait and just go somewhere else. I usually never write negative reviews but this just really annoys me. I won’t be giving this place another chance. It’s actually 0 stars.
Everytime I come to this location after I get off work, (I come between 8-9) they can never make me a Frappe. I don't want to drive out of the way to go to another McDonald's to get what I should be able to get here. If it's lit up on the drive thru menu, then it should be available. 🫤
I usually avoid this McDonald's at all cost. Unfortunately, I had a client who ordered breakfast. Horrible service. The employees look at you as if you aren't there. Cars stacked deep in the drive thru. Avoid this store at all costs. Whataburger is far superior.

Arrived here for a takeout order...floor was wet and dirty. The food area had fry particles everywhere. Waited more than 20 mins for a simple takeout order. The only staff that was professional and polite was the manager. She needs all new employees for the evening...how embarrassing as a worldwide chain restaurant to be this unsatisfactory.
I am here right now , unfortunately my fries were cold , my drink was flat , and my server was rude. Also just as a tip : not a good place to bring kids seeing that there is no playground or entertainment for them 😞 The place is very updated and looks great just not good for kids in my opinion.

The drive thru employee was very distracted while taking our order. I asked for a number three and five combo. He charged me for a home style or something. When I went to get my food that girl was handing me three drinks. I told her what I ordered and handed her the ticket so she can correct it. Absolutely the worst customer service ever, went through drive thru, got home no sauce for nuggets even though I was asked, and then there wasn't nuggets in my bag, had to come back with a mad little daughter, go inside spoke to the manager she just laughed it off no apology just asking what I wanted yelling from the kitchen and the girl helping had to literally tell her 5 times smh....terrible service visiting from out of town...got back to hotel food cold terrible experience...plus the manager is the one who gave me my order, so the terrible service started at management smh
Place awful tissue not available when you just want to take some they’re all behind the counter same as the soda and tea. Restroom not available to use I do have 5kids and we all drove 1hr and half to stop by and have breakfast with the family.

Staffing is either short, or it's miss managed. Takes 20 min for "fast food." Would recommend going somewhere else if you're looking for something quick. Tea taste old too, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's a lack of caring. Oh and the bathroom (guys, can't speak for the girls) is disgusting!

Place seemed to be in shambles - no one at the front asking to take orders, people waiting around for food everywhere. Finally asked for my order (an ice cream and a coffee) and they could find it (I had a receipt in hand) and just made it off of what I told them I ordered. The McFlurry didn’t even get blended by the time it made it to me. What a mess of a place! Manager seemed to be trying to work efficiently, but clearly there was a lot wrong about how they functioned. The only orders that seemed to get any preference were the door dash people busting in left and right.
I was park at the Dt for 16 minutes I was thinking maybe thy are busy so I just go around no one’s taking orders at one bk boy back - drive-through with glasses and there’s one in the front window. No one‘s taking orders there’s no cars parked at the windows, so how come nobody’s taking orders I called ask manger :: what the reason I asked the manager she had an attitude told me I was not at the drive-through for 16 minutes. Yes I was. I don’t know what kind of managers you have cannot do there job I hope she knows we pay her to do her job
Horrible place. After only ordering a Frappuccino and waiting for 20 minutes, at 11 am on a Tues, I went to stand in line to ask where my drink was. As I was standing in line the manager on shift came and put my drink down and called the number, as I went to grab it he tried to pull it away from me and looked at me crazy. I then showed him proof that, that was my drink and that I had been waiting on it for 20 minutes and he just Shrugged it off.
After waiting almost 30 minutes, finally got our cold food. Oh well, right, off to visit my granddaughter. Dang it, they didn’t give us her happy meal. 😡 went back & waited another 30 minutes for her cold happy meal. On the plus side I did get a call about my experience there & should be better if I ever go back.
Hours are wrong, the kitchen actually closes 10 minutes early apparently. After waiting in line for 10 minutes in the drive thru I was turned away 7 minutes before 11 because the kitchen was closing. Freddie's next door however was happy to take my order.
Waited in the drive through for over half an hour because the drive through attendant had to "change her headset battery", drove to the 2nd window and got told to go back to the 1st to place our order and proceeded to wait another 15 minutes before driving to a parking space. Inside the building, they forgot and underfilled drinks, the bathrooms were disgusting, the staff was unsanitary (touching hair), and the food wasn't fresh. The line was out of the driveway by the time we left.
McDonald's has been sliding into mediocrity for a long time, but this place takes it to a new level. Food all over the floor, employees cursing and throwing food, lines always ridiculously long (highway traffic, I guess). I have no idea why anyone would go here instead of In-n-Out 100 yards to the north. I went because of my kids - who now NEVER want McDonalds (yeah!).
Bring rushed out by employees do to the fact that my wife and I have a backpack. Harassed every 5 minutes being told that we have 30 minutes to eat or reorder something. Our coffee is still hold and we have only been there for 10 minutes. Be for being approached and harassed. I grew up at a McDonald's and never been treated like this for. Sitting and enjoying your beverages or meal. I even use to work at this same restaurant long ago and no employees would ever approach a customer to harassed them in anyway. It changes the dynamic of what McDonald's use to be to what this McDonald's is now. Rude and very unprofessional.
Disgusting and Disappointing I'm absolutely appalled by the state of this McDonald's. The staff seemed completely indifferent, taking forever to take my order and then messing it up. The food was cold and soggy, and the restaurant itself was filthy. Tables were piled high with trash, the floors were sticky, and the bathrooms were downright disgusting. I can't believe such a well-known chain could allow this level of neglect. I'll never be back, and I strongly advise others to avoid this location at all costs.

Went to dine and took 30 minutes to even get help on our order, after ordering our number never pooped up on service screen. The staff was very rude and not put together giving multiple the wrong orders and having them wait long periods of time to even be helped .I do not recommend coming to this McDonald’s I have never had such a bad experience as this.
Worst customer service I've ever dealt with. Misscommunicated an order and in return they decided to be rude and acted like it ruined their whole day over a single item. Was there from 3-3:15Pm on Mon Feb 17th. Spoke to 2 black ladies on the intercom who was pissed that they had to do thier job.
4 families(15 people) we all ordered on the electronic bill board inside order took 15 minutes. And three out of the four orders were short a burger on one chicken nuggets on the other then a burger and fries on the last order We the 16 of us decide that we'll skip McDonald's permanently from now on
I tried to warn the store that the bathroom floors were really slippery and an old lady had almost fell. One of the janitorial custodians had me walk with her into the restroom to prove it to her when there’s already a wet floor sign . She then started looking me up and down as if what I was saying didn’t make sense …. And she just kept asking me what’s wrong and which stall is it and telling other customers to get out of the stalls and rushing them. This store is very unprofessional and unsafe .
This is absolutely the worst McDonald's I've ever been to, and that's saying something given that my order has been incorrect basically every time I've ever been to any McDonald's. I ordered a spicy McCrispy sandwich (the one made with actual chicken) and received a McChicken sandwich that is made from whatever disgusting pink goo McDonald's is somehow allowed to use. I waited for my food for 30 minutes, watching at least 10 cars that ordered after me get their food and I had to ask an employee to even get my food in the first place. Upon asking for my sandwich to be remade, the employee told me I could either take the sandwich or a refund, but they could not make me a new sandwich even if I was willing to pay for it as they were "backed up". She then proceeded to blame ME for not checking the screen or the receipt to check if it was correct before the order went through, despite the fact that the McCrispy and McChicken have the same abbreviated code. I will never go to this establishment again and hope that no one who reads this does either. They were also out of apple pie.
I'm a regular customer and a previous employee for this McDonald's so me and my family were eating here as we always do we were asked to leave in a rude way I spend time and money here well after how we got treated today we will no longer be customers here I will no longer recommend friends and family much less coworkers to come and dine here will definitely no longer come here this was our favorite place to eat we don't go to other places this was our number one choice now it is choice zero Mr. June you should tell your manager to be more respectful to customers especially ones who are regularly coming to eat at your establishment because how she was is not how you talk to people
The owner of this franchise needs to look into his or her staff. In fact every single one in Waco needs to. They pay zero attention to the front desk or if they notice you they dont acknowledge you. Every McDonald’s deserves to be shut down by corporate
Twice I've been there, waiting forever for a simple order. I get if it's busy, but people were just sitting around not doing much, when all I needed was a sundae made in like 30 seconds. Or I'm just left in the curbside waiting, and my order is just sitting inside. Won't be going back to this location.
Worker was nice when listening when I wanted my burger to have one 1 cheese on each burger, it was 2 mcdoubles. I even heard her tell the workers to only put 1 cheese, only for me to come home and have all the cheese on both my burgers, a mcdouble should only have 1 cheese anyways but they always put 2 or 3 slices.
I ordered a steak and egg bagel and got a piece of sausage rather than steak so it was sausage, egg, cheese, and mayonaisse on a bagel. Worat thing I have ever eaten. Should've asked for my money back since I clearly did not get what I paid for.
Horrible experience!! Employees refused to give us what we ordered in the app, and argued with us about it. We ordered a snack wrap, fries, and a burger, with sweet n sour sauce, as we were able to do in the app, for no extra charge. When we pulled up to the window, the employee refused to give us any “because you didn’t order nuggets.” He argued with us for 5 minutes and then made us pull up to wait longer, before finally bringing us our food and ONE sauce. What a joke. Chick-fil-a will give you sauce for free, with a smile, and would never even think to argue with you about it. Their business is booming while y’all are having to cut menu items and slash prices to stay afloat. Y’all need some tutoring from Chick-fil-a, or y’all are toast. Never coming back here again.
The owner is unprofessional. I was specifically told to leave after purchasing a breakfast sandwich. I do not know this guy nor am I even from Waco. Maybe he mistaken me for someone else , maybe he had a personal issue that made him want to attack a customer. I was in this restaurant a total of 8 minutes. As I was preparing to leave he approached me and said I needed to leave the restaurant is for customers only. I told him I am a customer and I just finished my sandwich.He then threw up his hands while looking at the table I recently occupied 1 minute prior when eating my sandwich. At that point I realized this is discrimination and an attack on me personally. I also observed other customers in the restaurant that were there prior to my arrival and were not confronted. I believe the appropriate way to approach someone is to ask if they are a customer. At that point I could produce a receipt and show that I picked my order up from the counter 5 minutes prior to this encounter. We are in a world where the customer doesn't matter just the money. This guy June as they pronounced is very unprofessional and out of line. I have a special place in my head for these people He is undeserving of his position. I have to assume as he did with me that he is race-ist person. That's assumptions for ya I do not recommend this place at all.
Don't ever come to this location. The employees here are extremely rude and will throw stuff at you. The signs say the drive thru opens at 5am and the lobby opens at 6am. The lady told me they wouldn't be open until 7am because they didn't have any food ready. I told her i was gonna complain and she told me I'm the manager, no you can't have my name, and I'll give you the complaint number. I also have video of the next person in the drive thru getting things thrown at them. I've sat here and watched them turn away at least 20 vehicles in about 15 minutes.
