Had a great experience here and the food was so good samosas are a 100% must try
Delicious Indian vegetarian food. Daal, smoked cauliflower, jackfruit, and veggie chicken are my faves. This fast casual restaurant is good for dining in or to go. Excellent value for the combo plates! Small parking lot.
Very good food and service. Abu was very attentive and knew what we needed before we did throughout dinner. One of the top Indian spots in town.
"Dosa it taste good?" "I will be going here dal the time." "Two Thumbs Up (please)." "Masala my friends love eating here." "I wish there was one paneer me." Enough puns and bad wordplay, this place is amazing. Great prices, perfect spices, delicious food, oh so good. Open relatively late (10pm) and always fresh. While the Pani Puri wasn't my favorite I've had, the Aloo Gobi and Chana Masala hit the spot, and their samosas might be the crispiest and best I've ever had. Park in the back, on the street, or sneak across the street to the huge parking lot there, and get over to Samosa House today!
This one and the Santa Monica location have the best two Indian dishes in the world: chicken & jackfruit. Come get it!
So good & meat-like my brother didn’t even know the entire meal was vegan!! He thought the chicken was real chicken. My go-to in Indian food. My favorite is the combo plate with garlic naan, white rice ( I add the “chicken’s” sauce to soak the rice), Jackfruit, Tandoori chicken, & yogurt
So I’m a teacher who loves to include culture in my classroom. For the past five years, we’ve been celebrating Holi! If you don’t know what Holi is…… Holi, also known as the Festival of colors, is a Hindu spring festival. It marks the arrival of spring, the end of winter, the blossoming of love, and for many, it is a festive day to meet others, play and laugh, forget and forgive, and repair broken relationships. It also incorporates lots and lots of colorful powder. I used to purchase Holi powder at a local Indian market, but they closed down. So while on the search for a new market, I came across Samosa House. I called to see if they had any powder available, and they said yes! I made my way over right away before it sold out. When I entered, I asked a lady that works there where I could find Holi powder. She pointed where it was, and I sprinted over. They had lots of bags and lots of different colors. I purchased about almost 30 bags. After I grabbed my bags, I wondered around the market. They not only have Holi powder, but they have other household items, food, and a little restaurant. Too bad I had already eaten, or else I would’ve gotten some food. It smelled so good! Until next year!
Some of the best Indian I've had. For the cost and what I was expecting this was phenomenal. Had the soy chicken in butter sauce, cauliflower pakora yogurt curry and the saag - served with the chapati. All fantastic. Can't wait to come back.
Casual counter serve, I got all of this for $16 in this economy. Honestly unreal value. The food is so good too. The smoky cauliflower, the paneer Makhani. All vegetarian.
Such amazing food!!! Smoked cauliflower and jackfruit curry. Vegan mango lassi. All 10/10
I always get a 3 item combo plate. I've only been here when I'm already hungry so I get food to go without really checking out the market. There's a chaat cart and desserts display beside the a la cart trays. Limited parking on the side/back.

Been coming here for years, my go to is the combo plate with white rice, veggie chicken with extra juice over the rice then pakora curry and something else I forgot. The samosa’s are really good also as well as their mango lassi!
One of the best places in Culver City for Indian! Fast fresh and healthy
This is a vegetarian restaurant and everything you order is so good and fresh. The naan is my favorite. I always feel I’m getting a healthy meal here. Price is right as well.
Yummy food, well priced, nice location. Pleasant atmosphere

Pakaro is so good, served with green red chutney ,it's like totally indian taste....tea and Gulab jamun also good
I didn’t realize that it was vegetarian only. I was craving butter chicken or chicken tikka masala but the closest thing they had was “veggie chicken.” The sauce itself was good but I didn’t care for the chicken substitute. The naan was freshly prepared and tasted good.
This a vegetarian restaurant. I am glad that it is a complete vegetarian restaurant. The food was okay. The taste was decent. The decor inside was nice. I really liked it. The door is in the front parking in back. There is a separate small bar for water and other amenities. They have soy based meat. I won't say it the best soy based meat, but its not that bad either.

Putting it all together, it's a bit underwhelming. Service was disinterested and lacking. Inside the tables are oddly placed leading to an uninviting feeling. Found food to be ok and not the best spicing. Samosa was an ok size, a bit greasy. It's a nice option for vegetarians but the meat-like dishes aren't successful. Wouldn't be my first choice. Street parking only.

The worst thing I tried here was their samosa chat. Not only it tasted bad but they did not even heat it, they were stone cold. Their Pani puri had no taste and the puffs were really stale. Tasted awful and quality so bad that will make you sick.

I’ve been coming here for years and this place used to be amazing and feels like they lost their touch. The staff seem nice and welcoming but the quality of the food has completely gone down. All the dishes are soggy and sloppy compared to the nice bite/crunch and presentation most the dishes had in the past. I wanted to give another chance until I started feeling sick and am now writing this review with food poisoning in the restroom..
