Opiniones de La Flama Los Angeles
First time today, I love it. We love it. We will be back often Everything is amazing. The cecina burrito is HEFTY (I wish they had al pastor but this was a great recommendation from the very friendly staff). Asada torta tasted wonderful. Chorizo quesadilla was everything I needed it to be. The salsa rojo has a smokiness that I'm in love with, Salsa Verde is very flavorful; both salsas are a little thicker (which I LOVE). Menudo on the weekends - thank you, La Flama
Authentic Oaxacan food with exceptional service to enjoy alone or with the family and to enjoy the best boxing cards.
This was my second time at La Flama. Loved the food the first time so I had to go back. I was super impressed with the mole chicken plate. The chicken was soft, not rubbery at all. I personally think that if you can cook chicken excellently, you have a pretty good grasp of cooking most meats. Also, they accept CalFresh/EBT for groceries and the prepared entrees. Huge bonus for anyone who has some extra CalFresh dollars to spare!

I have not tried their food but I have gotten meat and other stuff. Their cheese is amazing! The service is good and they have plenty of Mexican items you can’t find anywhere else. One of my favorite places!
Been coming here for years and it just keeps getting better. Great food, great vibes!
Very friendly and prompt service, extremely well-decorated and cozy dining room, and the food is ridiculously fresh with juicy, flavorful meats, beautifully blended seasonings and extremely fresh vegetables. I had the taco plate and I was WOWED by every bite! My partner also let me taste their La Flama plate with the asada, and holy COW. (seriously. that is some fantastic beef, it was melt-in-your-mouth the perfect texture.) Massive soda selection, their hot chocolate had a wonderful spice to it, and the portions are all extremely generous for the price. Definitely a must-stop if you’re in the area, it’s a cozy hole-in-the-wall treat.
Super good. All items have there own unique flavor of spice!! It's also a market for veggies and meat. Was unaware. I'm definitely going to be frequent customer. All the salsa tasted amazing. Red is smokey, green fresh and savory, chips salsa lots of texture and freshness. You won't be disappointed. Felt like I was eating in Mexico.
Great local mexican restaurant and market. They sell meat in addition to other traditional things you'd find in a mexican market like tamale wrappers, cheese, containers of fresh salsa, and mexican pastries!
While we did take out for our first order, the atmosphere of the place is so cozy and lovely!! I adore that they have a market inside as well and cannot wait to come back to check it out more. Food was delicious and the staff are so friendly!! Will be coming back!
I got the La Flama plate to go and it was bomb af. The chicken, while thin, was juicy and tender, and the black beans had a little spice to them that I loved. I don't recommend getting to go only because the rice and beans came in separate Styrofoam cups, as well as the to-go container being Styrofoam but they have a covered patio area if you prefer to eat there and save the waste.
Excellent place to buy authentic Mexican products. Their breakfast is delicious and more than enough for one person. I recommend you the tacos al vapor (one per person) and the aguas frescas. The staff is friendly too.

The place is not appealing, but the huevos rancheros are the bomb, so good a bit spicy if you are not used to the heat.

This place deserve five stars because the food is so great and delicious!... but most people (employees) are very nice 👍... The reason I'm giving this place only four stars today is because a lady behind the counter (short and skinny) pulled a face on me while I was telling her what I wanted... what her name?... I don't know but I'm gonna find out... employees like this one shouldn't be working in this kind of business... this lady today showed the model of how an employee of a restaurant or business where the employee interacts with the customer is reprehensible... the attitude of this lady is extremely reprehensible!!!... the problem here is that in these cases just being an only one employee with this attitude is smearing the rest of the employees!!!!
This place has items from Oaxaca Mexico. They also cook fresh food to eat there or to go. They cook up thier own pork rinds.
Chips we were served were stale. We got the chilequiles con asada and the rice tasted like it was just out the microwave, the chips for the chilequiles were also stale and the asada was dry. The drinks were good, the salsa was good, but overall I wouldn't come here again
Seem as though they have changed owners already and rhe service is also suffering.. was very nice, now, "Ill Pass".

Waitress must have been having a bad personal day, but that’s not the reason I decided to post a review. Their food was bland and overpriced, and to make it a worst impression they served me expired meat. I ordered the taco plate yesterday and today I been suffering from stomach pains all morning. I won’t be ordering from them again.

Beware, we bought tamales de raja and mole and as I was cutting a piece I noticed a long hair. Unfortunately my partner had already ate one. I called to notify the store and the woman on the phone stated that I would get a refund back however I felt as I was being accused of faking this hair thing. A few minutes later I got a call back from la flama, requesting me to take the tamales back for proof. Lady I have pictures and no need to lie. I’m also in Hollywood which for me it’s out of the way to drive back to Culver City. So make sure you guys check your food 😩

Wow, was I fooled. The picture they posted of the breakfast torta looked appetizing. Upon the first bite, I realized that I had been duped. I could only eat two bites even though I was super hungry. I threw away the rest. It was the most vile thing I think I have ever ordered. The sandwich was soggy , the eggs were drenched in oil, the cheese lumpy, and the taste was horrible. I didn’t bother calling them to get it replaced because didn’t trust they know how to make anything well. Will never go back.
The service is terrible! Don’t know if this young girl is the owner or an employee?! But ooh boy! Her attitude is horrible! I’m paying for the items I’m not getting it for free!! Y lo peor es que somos paisanos!!
It was my first time coming to this place and the cashier's service was bad. I prefer to go to the Santa Monica store.
