New location/building. Open till 9 and they accommate large orders. Always gives you a donut or remembers what your favorite donut is and says she'll see you tomorrow.

Just went thru the drive thru. This place is kinda like a Chic Fila to us. We never pass one up and it's one of our first stops when we get to town and the last before we leave. Great donuts. Always look forward to picking up a few dozen of the best donuts I've ever had.

The drive- through is open till 3, and the store is open till noon. Friendliest staff I have ever seen - sweet as the doughnuts. I go there whenever I'm in Lufkin.

I showed up at this Shipleys and she opened up the place just for me! A whole hour before they opened officially! The lovely lady was so sweet and warned me about the hot kolaches she just took out of the oven and gave me an extra glazed on the house.Then when we were done, she said have a great day, see you tomorrow!! The donuts are amazing here! The owners are very nice, fast and efficient. We like to visit every weekend and normally get hot and fresh items. The selection is amazing and everything tastes great.

I have gone to Shipley's donut shop for years. My boyfriend's mom loves their donut holes and my boyfriend likes their cherry fields donut and I like chocolate and white cream field donut. I use to get the cream field donuts in the dark grey donuts but I have gotten the donuts in glazed donuts few times. I would like to come inside the Shipley's donut shop.

We are from out of town and this is the nest donut we ve ever had. Get a glazed cream filled one first. The donut is lite and crispy with sugar. And the cream is kinda creamy with a hint of marshmallow flavor. My bff said it taste like what crispy cream donuts first were. Soooooo gooood. Will be back when we come into town. Gotta try this place. And they re hours are great!!!

Still the best way to start the day in Lufkin! Stopped by this morning (early, of course—gotta catch those fresh ones!) at the Shipley on South Timberland Drive, and wow, they delivered again. Walked in to that amazing hot donut smell that hits you right away—pure Texas magic.

Fresh donuts, friendly service, wide selection, and their jalepeno kolaches are great. They don't use jalepeno sausage, instead they put slices of jalepeno in the roll with the sausage and cheese. Yum!

Donuts the best..but kolaches in Lufkin are made with hot dogs..not sausage as advertised. VERY DISAPPOINTED...talked into getting 5 get 1 free..NOW I KNOW WHY. Shame on this location 😞

Shipley's is a wonderful place to eat. Their chocolate is phenomenal, and their staff is super sweet. Their dough is a liiiiitle less fabulous since the new ownership, but I've come to enjoy it.

Went and got donuts and kollachies fur breakfast. Very friendly service, donuts were delicious! Very fresh! The kollachies had too much bread for our liking. Pleasantly surprised!

Apple fritter was ok but a little dry and flavorless.

Need to clean and sanitize their store inside. Don't go through the drive-thru unless you've got 15 minutes.

Had a hard time getting my order correct because of the language barrier but the donuts were excellent if quite a bit over priced.

Fresh donuts, but the ham and cheese kolaches were anything but ham and cheese. Mostly bread, with a rolled up slice of ham and cheese inside.

The donuts were so good. The service was good. But the kolache were not good. They are like a big biscuit without any flavor wrapped around a ssusage.

The kolachees weren't what I remember from a few years ago. I wish the sausages we're bigger. The donut holes were just as good though. Very friendly people

The Kolaches are larger than most places but it’s mostly bread. Sausage Jalapeño and Cheese literally have sliced jalapeños, kinda odd but they taste fine. Chocolate coconut donut is THE BEST! We enjoyed our breakfast the environment was nice.

I was mildly disappointed with this location. The Kolache was more bread than sausage, and the donuts were not what I've come to except from Shipleys, but the coffee was excellent!

Being one of the only places to get coconut donuts was disappointed that they changed the coconut but have always loved Shipley's and will continue to give them my business I do wish that they would change back to the old coconut

It was around noon when I was there. The donuts and koliches were not fresh, dry and stale. On a high note the coffee was great. I am sure they would have been better earlier in the morning.

Shipley donuts was once a good place for a coffee & doughnut. Not so much lately. Owners of franchises should improvise and update everything. Get real Shipley...Your service is barley except able and it goes down from there. They look just like the other 10000 doughnut shops.

I had never payed $17 for mocha drinks (small ones) milk and 3 donuts ! I was In a rush that didn’t even noticed what they charged me till I left out of town 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ Then the regular glazed donut was so dry that my daughter made a huge mess with it bc bit of pieces went everywhere. Will definitely not stop here again when I come back to town :(.

I ordered a box of Valentine donuts online 4 days in advance. It was supposed to bea mix of regular donuts and heart shaped donuts. I get there to pick up my order and they don’t even have the heart shaped donuts at the store. Like at all. Why would you sell something online and not even have it at the store? I received regular iced donuts that were messy and did not taste fresh. The store looks old and nasty inside. I guess for the price I just expected something better, and I also expect to get what I pay for. I will not be going back to this shop.

I have been to this Shipley franchise twice within 2 years. I love Shipley’s chocolate filled donuts, but they barely put any filling inside the donuts at this store compared to others. I thought the first time it might have been by accident or a new employee, but it happened again. Do be so cheap to not fill it up to normal serving size to save a buck. TERRIBLE donuts. For someone who looks so forward to Shipley's donuts, because living in Louisiana we have no Shipley's Donuts this location had the absolute WORST donuts. We get Shipley's 2 to 3 times a year when traveling to Texas. Typically we stop in Columbia but since Katy Tx now has a Shipleys close to our family in Katy this is the one we visit. We have NEVER had bad service (except this time in Lufkin, the girl at the window was NOT happy about working) or bad donuts from Shipley's Donuts UNTIL the Lufkin store. We got 3 dozen (1 dozen plan, 1 dozen chocolate and 1 dozen holes), the were TOUGH, FREEZING cold and for the first time ever tasted Spoiled. This was horrible. We will NOT be visiting the Lufkin Shipley's again.

Bought 2 kolaches paid over 4 bucks got enough dough for 6 kolaches and only enough sausage for 1 kolache! Very disappointed! Staff was very fast and friendly! But there are many places in Lufkin with better kolaches !

Really irritating when they stay open til 9pm.but the donuts sit from 1-2pm all day/night long.. then they hardly have any selection... what's the point of staying open if the donuts aren't fresh or having a selection??

My husband went to get almost 73 dollars worth of donuts for two families. This place took all 91.63 out of his Walmart work card. The lady that works there said come back the next day. When he did she acted like it was another costumer who bought that. Wouldn't even bother to look at the proof on his phone. We didn't have the receipt because it got thrown away that day. Update: Finally got the money back on the card after 2-3 days. Still not happy with the bad service. Never going here again because of the money situation.

Really Disappointed!!!!! The donuts were awful I purchased a 1/2 dozen glazed donuts and I will never purchase anything from that Shirley’s again. The young lady was very Rude but the young man was very friendly.

There is a difference between “fresh” and “made same day“. Their donuts are made same day but I’ve never gotten hot & fresh. I stopped here today around 9:00am and the dozen I purchased were cold and not very good. I’m used to always having hot donuts at the Shipley’s where I live and am often disappointed when I’m in town and stop here regardless of time. You can make donuts everyday but fixing a batch at 5:00am and selling them at 10:00am does not make them fresh (example)! At nearly $10/dozen we should at the least get donuts that are warm & don’t taste refrigerated on a Sunday morning... Response to your response: thank you for responding however that was not an option and I haven’t been given that option in the past when asked if they’re hot. The donuts I purchased were older than a few minutes and I took a picture but couldn’t figure out how to upload. My family whom I was visiting said not to go there because “they are never fresh”. I don’t live in Lufkin but will pass this on to my family and keep this in mind when visiting in the future. Thanks!

One of the worst qork experinces of my entire life. I have never been talked to yhe way i was hear. The donuts still taste amazing but because of how much mold and just dirty it is I personally will not be returning.

I place an online order 2 hours before to ensure my sister could get donuts of her liking because she's in from out of state. Out of 12 doughnuts only 2 were correct. They "apologized" for selling my donuts to someone else. 100% does not care about their customers!
