At Taco Bell South Miami, we're passionate about serving up more than just a meal - we're dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences for our guests. Sheila's warm smile is always on display, making everyone feel at home. We've been fortunate enough to have received rave reviews from customers who rave about our friendly and knowledgeable staff. One thing that sets us apart is the unbeatable value of our dishes, like our signature Crunchwrap Supremes. Our vibrant atmosphere complements the flavors of our Tex-Mex favorites, making every bite a delight.
Customer experiences are mixed. Sheila receives high praise for her exceptional service. However, many customers complain about small protein portions, poor service, and a dirty restaurant, especially the restrooms. Some reviewers mention a manager, Alvin Grant, behaving unprofessionally.
Tip: Avoid going during lunch hours around 2:00 p.m. due to long lines and understaffing.

Sheila was so amazing. Friendly, kind, knowledgeable, and fully accommodating. I will 100% return Just to see her smile. What a true value to the company.

Food was scarce, I came in at 4:10 PM, the girl behind the counter told me they just went through a shift change so there were toppings unavailable, No problem, I undertand. She was handling business like she was the owner, impressive speed and efficient, the only person in the line making the food and attending the register at the same time, a raise is well deserved. DO NOT show up around 4 PM
Food great, but the place was very messy inside. I had to clean the table myself to be able to sit down and eat. This seems to be the "norm" with Chipotle, great food but the dinning area makes me want to always take my food to go.
They never have fajita veggies available, no matter what time of day. Last time, we clearly asked them if they had it available and they said yes. My boyfriend started building his bowl, and the moment they reached fajita veggies, the container was empty. When we asked them to refill it, they said they didn’t have any - we found that odd. They said it would take them 20 mins to get them ready. We waited to get them but the 20 min wait was naturally a lot - they didn’t particularly add a lot of the veggies to the bowl after all this. The staff is not very friendly. I needed help with redeeming a discount and a staff member literally made a dirty face and sighed and said “I can’t do this”, and then another staff member came and helped out. The place is also always dirty. They don’t ever clean their tables. Food is good but mostly because chipotle always tastes good.
This place is always messy, employees with bad attitude as soon u approach. Employee at front with no hairnet, with a hot on but couldn't even fit all the hair so hair is flapping everywhere. Them person at register handling cash with gloves on. Also what it seems a manager came on his phone and gloves on to overide a transaction, then when back to helping the girl at the Togo line. No care for any type of food safety.
I have NEVER in my life been in a restaurant where EVERY SINGLE TABLE was dirty. I work in the restaurant industry and this is SHAMEFUL. The owner and manager should be mortified and ashamed. This is not sanitary at all. And plus, the portions were SUPER cheap. Run away from this location, seriously.
Absolutely ridiculous that they prioritize online orders over people who come into the restaurant. Told me that they were out of guac but had plenty for “online orders only.” When i asked if I could have some of that they refused and made me order separately online to be able to get some. Absolutely absurd. Priorities totally misaligned
I would not recommend this place. The service was terrible — the staff had an attitude and made the whole experience unpleasant. The restaurant itself is dirty and not well kept, which is already a red flag. The food was just as bad: the rice looked like paste and tasted just as unappetizing. Overall, it was a disappointing experience from start to finish.
I’ve had enough, this is horrible! I paid for a bowl and they delivered half a bowl, they also completely forgot about 2 sides of the kids meal. 9 out of 10 times I order from this location they mess up the order, there’s always something missing and they put ingredients I didn’t ask for. There is no way this can happen that often as a mistake, they just don’t care.
I use to order burrito here but this time they made a different meal
Apparently management at this place doesn’t care one bit about this location. Every time I have come here it’s been a disaster. Overflowing trash cans. No utensils. Tables full of trash. This is not just a one time thing. It’s a constant pattern with this location. I will be escalating this with corporate
The bathrooms were filthy. When I approached the manager and I told him the bathrooms were filthy, he said, we haven't gotten around to it. Corporate needs to step in. I am livid.
They gave me three tiny, burnt pieces of chicken, barely 1/4 bowl of plain undercooked white rice, a small dab of sour cream, and a sad, watery scoop of guacamole. I felt like I was being rationed during a food shortage. The chicken was literally burnt, dry and hard. The rice? Undercooked and tasted like it came straight out of the bag with no seasoning. Nothing felt fresh or properly made. Staff were rude, rushed, and clearly didn’t care. When I politely asked for more or even basic decency, I got nothing but attitude and eye-rolls. Avoid this terrible branch at all costs. It’s overpriced, underwhelming, careless, and flat-out disrespectful to the customer. Otherwise, there is no table to seat on , you have to clean up your table that people before you were eating there!👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 Staff 2 Mexicans women Tuesday at 9:00pm August 5
A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE The food was cold, and I don't know what to say about the taste because it tasted like nothing. I left the entire plate on the table after the third spoonful.
I recently visited this Chipotle location and was quite disappointed. The store appeared unclean, and I noticed questionable practices with food handling. Given the revenue this location likely generates, I believe there should be more investment in proper maintenance and cleanliness to ensure a better customer experience.
Nothing to do with the food or portions. It’s Chipotle so everyone should know what to expect. This location’s service has always been awful. I’ve never written a review because the manager there was always running it to the best of his abilities and he always stepped in when the team was slacking off. I haven’t seen him there in a while so now it’s just consistently awful. I’m not expecting 5 star service, a smile, or a “my pleasure”, but I definitely didn’t expect 2 employees to look at my bowl and walk away instead of finishing the service by adding the toppings. The employee at the start of the line had to step in and finish. To top it off, getting my bag of food carelessly slid over to the edge of the counter for me to catch it before falling was not on my bingo card. Go to the Chipotle on 120th St & US1 or 27th Ave and US1.
Everyone there has a stick up their behind ! Worst customer service ever. The ladies on the line always talking amongst eachother and rushing people to hurry up and order. Do better management.
⭐️ 1-Star Review I have been a regular customer at this Chipotle on US-1 for years, and unfortunately, the quality of the restaurant has declined significantly. The place was noticeably dirty, and the restroom was in unacceptable condition—no paper towels and overall very poorly maintained. When ordering, there were barely any staff members available, and the attitude from the team was challenging. Several items prominently listed on the menu were not available. There were no napkins, and overall you can immediately tell the store has deteriorated considerably. It’s disappointing to see this decline from such a large, publicly traded company. Based on my recent experience, I will not be considering returning to this location. Chipotle has lost a lot of value in terms of quality and customer experience.
I visit this Chipotle regularly, but the experience is consistently ruined by the manager on duty, Alvin Grant. On numerous occasions he has loudly yelled profanities at the staff right in front of customers. Most recently, on Tuesday 12/2, there were over six of us in line watching this happen. I was so uncomfortable that I left without ordering anything for myself or my niece. It was as if I took her into a strip club or bar, not a Chipotle. This is supposed to be a family friendly restaurant, and his behavior is absolutely disgusting. I have never witnessed such unprofessional conduct in any food establishment. This isn’t a one time issue, it happens almost every time I’m here, but seems to be escalating since now he is cursing. The staff seems hardworking, but the environment he creates is disrespectful and unacceptable. I hope upper management addresses this immediately, because I genuinely like this location, but the manager’s repeated behavior needs serious attention. The atmosphere when he is not on shift is completely different.
Very bad attitude
*Update: I went in again during lunch around 2:00 p.m. on 11/12 and the line was ridiculous. There was only one person working the line because the other had stepped away - not sure if it was for a break or something else. Then the woman with the little itty bitty face tattoo came back, taking her time while the line just grew longer. It's clear no one there really cares about customer service. I think this may be my last time coming. Chipotle, please hire people who actually want to work and take pride in what they do! *Update: I went in on Friday, 11/7, and to my surprise, the line was moving quickly and efficiently. It's like someone stepped in to get things running smoother! There's another Hispanic woman with tattoos who seems fairly new, and she was really nice - honestly, she feels like the only genuinely friendly one there. Unfortunately, everyone else still looks like they hate their job. But the goof is good, so I keep coming back but also in hopes it gets better. Extremely disappointing customer service at this Chipotle. The staff consistently come off as unfriendly and uninterested in helping customers. There’s a pattern here - they don’t acknowledge you until they feel like it, and the energy feels like they’d rather be anywhere else. One example: a Black woman at the front had me standing there awkwardly while she looked directly at me and said nothing. Only after slowly putting on her gloves - at her own pace - did she finally say “hello,” like it was an inconvenience. And she’s not the only one with this attitude, just the one I’ve encountered most often. Another time, a big Hispanic woman rushed me to order “uh-huh and what else?”, only to realize herself they didn’t have anymore white rice there. Like calm it down ma’am. Extremely disappointing customer service at this Chipotle. The staff consistently come off as unfriendly and uninterested in helping customers. It honestly feels like this location hires anyone who’s simply willing to show up - regardless of whether they have a basic understanding of customer service or a good attitude. The general manager really needs to step in and get this place together, because right now, the staff’s energy and lack of professionalism are driving customers away.
TERRIBLE place to EAT, THE PROTEIN PORTION IS SOOOOOO SMALL THAT U GONNA THINK U WENT TO A VEGGIE CHIPOTLE, this time i had a burrito and was almost at the 5th bite that the protein starts to show, common guys u can do it better
Horrible service barely any portions of protein given and they didn’t take my 20 because it had a the tiniest tear ever??? It’s chipotle it’s not that deep
