Opiniones de Sano Food South Miami Miami
If you're looking for a quick bite but with a healthy twist, this is the place for you. They have amazing arepeas, ceviche, pasta, and fresh juices. If you're a coffee drinker, definitely try their coconut milk cappuccino sweetened with coconut sugar. They also have a healthy twist on desserts, like the rest of their menu, are excellent. The only down side is that parking in that area can be challenging depending on the time of day.
Sano Food Market in South Miami is a hidden gem for health-conscious foodies! Their grilled chicken Greek salad is absolutely delicious – perfectly seasoned chicken, fresh veggies, and just the right amount of dressing. The quality and flavor are top-notch. Highly recommend for anyone looking for tasty, wholesome meals. Great for friends get togethers or mid day business lunches.
Delicious food! Good lunch specials and great healthy choices. I enjoyed the arepa made of quinoa and beets filled with chicken and avocado for $8.99. I added feta cheese for $2.50. It was a great combination of flavors. Light but great substance for a healthy meal. They also have other arepa flavors available, such as cassava, quinoa and spinach, and plantain. I can't wait to go back and try them all! We also ordered the lunch special for $12.99 includes a protein, two sides and soup of the day. We chose the salmon with roasted eggplant and quinoa. The soup of the day was pumpkin cream. Soup was a bit too watery so it was not easy to eat but it was tasty. I just wish it had a bit more consistency. Everything was delicious even when it was cooked in a healthy manner with less salt and extra condiments. I saw they had many cookies and desserts that are made with healthier choices of ingredients but I found them to be too expensive. A very small box of vanilla coconut cookies for $9.99 or mini alfajores small box for $13.99. These prices were a bit high for me. I can make a pound of almond coconut cookies at home for way less. They also have different types of homemade cakes, such as, carrot, cacao, and zuchinni for around $7 a piece. They also make juices and smoothies starting at $8 (also a bit pricey). Everything looked great. The establishment is very small but clean and organized. The lady taking care of us was very friendly and helpful. They speak Spanish and English. Street parking available by pay by phone. They are opened during this pandemic following social distancing and offering takeout. I believe they also have some delivery services depending of the area. Great place for a quick healthy lunch! Food is truly delicious. Tip: Always ask for daily specials because they have some great options.
Fresh ingredients and the service is great. I had a bowl and it was tasty. Our server was very nice and attentive.
A hidden gem. Amazing real food. Made to impress with an affordable price.
Excellent service, coffee with coconut milk the best I had. I also love plantain tequeños.

I have eaten at Sano Food South Miami several times since the new owners took over. I have to say the food is great and the friendly service by the new owners and staff is superb! I ask God to keep blessing Sano Food South Miami with lots of growth and prosperity.
This place is amazing and I agree a hidden gem that shouldn't be hidden! Excellent healthy food with great variety at reasonable prices and absolutely wonderful staff. Highly recommend!
If you're in South Miami, make sure to stop by! After reading the reviews, I knew it was time to explore the side streets and visit Ana, and I'm so glad I did. Owner-operated restaurants always make a world of difference. They've updated the menu and added so many gluten-free options—thank you! The service is fantastic; it feels like visiting a relative for lunch. The food is flavorful, beautifully presented, and just as good as it looks. Highly recommend!
I stopped by this place somewhat randomly after someone suggested it and I’ve got plans to bring more friends there. It’s a great quiet place to meet people. Very intimate and convenient place to have good. Catch up with friends. The food is really good and really affordable Considering it’s health food. And these empanadas… They know how to make their empanadas!
I’ve been loving Sano Food for a long time, but I just left feeling so happy with my meal and the service. The Reina pepiada arepa with quinoa as the base, is so delicious and very filling. My husband ordered plantain tequeños and they were also really good, definitely get both things. All very tasty and delightful. We brought a carrot cake home, very excited to try that as well.
The new management has really turned the place around. Unfortunately, the old owners did not pay attention, but the new people are doing something right. Very good menu, and they have a few "cheats" for those of us who prefer a less healthier meal. Give it a try, you wont regret it!

An exciting twist on traditional foods, but made healthy. I enjoyed a pleasant outdoor atmosphere with kind service. We enjoyed empanadas and tequenos; it was delicious. The juice was decent. Give it a try if you are nearby!
I was in the mood for an açaí bowl and since I was nearby I decided to come to this place. I had it saved on my bookmarks. You could park on the street and use your PayByPhone application. This place has seating area inside and outside. I decided to sit outside because the weather was perfectly fine and it was a gorgeous day. I placed my order inside, I paid, and then the lady told me to have a seat, she brought my açai bowl after a while, honestly, it took a little bit too long to get to my table. The açai bowl was delicious but not perfect, I think the consistency and texturewas not the best, not thick enough to my taste. But it was beautifully presented, with freshly cut bananas and strawberries, and topped with shredded coconut. The taste was good too! The price was good because it was a big bowl and the service was wonderful !!

I was excited to try Sano Food in South Miami, but unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming. I ordered a gluten-free brownie, two whole wheat chicken empanadas, and a cheese empanada to sample a variety of their offerings, but none of the items met my expectations. The empanada dough was very hard, and they were over-toasted, making them difficult to enjoy. The chicken inside was dry and tasted like it came from a rotisserie chicken that was shredded and mixed with seasoning, with a slight curry flavor. It wasn’t very appealing, and I didn’t finish them. The cheese empanada was no better—the cheese was very strong, almost like frying cheese, and not to my liking. I couldn’t finish that one either. As for the gluten-free brownie, I thought it would be a safe bet, but it tasted stale, like it came from a box mix and had been sitting out for days. It was disappointing to end my meal on that note. I spent $20 on this lunch and couldn’t finish most of it. Sadly, I won’t be returning based on this experience.
Disappointed. I usually love health food spit but this was bad experience. Had to use my phone to scan the menu. The store has 4 tables, you can have 1 laminated menu, save every customer time.. I got chicken and Avocado burger and was expecting grilled chicken breast and sliced Avocado for $15. No, shredded chicken in some Avocado mayo sauce on old bread. Was a school kids lunch.. The store itself has a bunch of ransom snacks around that doesn't even show on menu, confused.

I have stopped by 3 times in the last 2 weeks and the business is closed. I try calling with no luck either. The only sign says closed for maintenance. I look foward to trying it out when the open back up.
i went one time early in the morning so there were no other guests. They took near 25 minutes to cut up some fruit i had ordered. I thought the fruit bowl would be large for its price (like $11 or something) but there was the almost 80% air in the bowl and the rest was a small amount of very thinly sliced fruit. Super disappointing and i never leave reviews but this was probably my worst restaurant experience.
It was so bad I would give them a zero. They forgot my food. The food my friends shared with me was overpriced and subpar at best. They got my friend’s order wrong. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. The server took our order and then never looked at us again. Both my friends got their order. Everyone in the restaurant got their order. I had to call her to ask her about my order. She said it was dessert so she assumed we wanted it at the end. Although, we all ordered separately. My friends finished their food and we sat waiting for the check for 40 minutes. I had to go to the counter to ask for the check. I asked if they could discount my 10$ coffee because they forgot my breakfast order. I got .49 cents off. The manager gave us the check, the server gave her the to go order, she didn’t even acknowledge us. We told the manager about our experience. She didn’t even apologize! She was combating us with a plethora of excuses that they got busy and basically forgot. At this point I was fuming and had to tell her “ stop with the excuses and just say you’re sorry”. We couldn’t even get a simple sorry from this horrible experience.
This establishment is in the heart of South Miami and has beautiful presentation. Those are pretty much the only things I enjoyed. I looked up their menu online and made my selections before arriving but upon arriving was told that all the prices had increased but we’re not reflected online. I was upset but I still purchased what I wanted and honestly for the amount of money that I spent on a simple lunch I can tell you that it was 100% not worth it.If I’m spending $15 for a stuffed arepa, I want to get the best arepa in town.
