This place is incredible. I loved the karaoke, and the service . . . AMAZING! When we walked in there was only one table available for my wife, my friends, and I. Seeing the crowd made me think think this was probably a pretty good place, but I thought for certain it was gonna be a long night of waiting on drinks; boy was I wrong. The bartenders and wait staff were phenomenal. I don't think I was ever without a drink. Shout out to our server Robin; she was a rockstar. Oh, I forgot to mention the food. I never expect much in the way of food when I go to a "bar". That being said, my expectations were more than exceeded. The food was terrific! It is, afterall, a GRILL and bar, not the other way around. We went on Veterans Day, and the DJ asked all Veterans to make their way to the dance floor, and then asked everyone to give us around of applause in thanks for our service. I stood shoulder to shoulder with members of every branch and multiple generations; it was a really touching experience. Having seen a couple fellow vets, I took the time to grab a drink and share a couple of stories with a Marine and a Navy veteran; one from the Vietnam era, and one from the Gulf War era. I'm so thankful to our friends for introducing us to this place. My wife and I have found our new date night hangout. Catch a movie then head to Adolph's to grab some food and a couple drinks while enjoying some karaoke, if we don't decide to take the stage ourselves.

Had so much fun there! Made some new friends and enjoyed dancing to karaoke. Definitely recommend and will be going there again!

It was great except as a long time patron an accusation has been made about me that was/is false yet Robbin whom has never asked me told a female friend I was with to not leave her drink unattended and my female friend already knew of the accusations and told her she was silly

Fun, entertainment, good drinks. On top of everything else Britany was batending in the back and made sure we were safe. Someone came up to our table drunk and touching our drinks, (a group of mostly young women). Not only did she dispose of our drinks that this person touched, she got us shots to replace them! And made sure the person was escorted out. The bouncers were also fast, calm, and professional. Smoking permited, but not bad smell most nights.

The owner had the most courtesy to shake my hand and say be careful while I was leaving. Great friendly staff, always smiling and coming over constantly asking if i needed anything. DJ Chase and DJ Angela are really good, and sang really well. I will book my 50th Birthday there in September. And I love to sing, and the rotation is on point. IF YOU LOVE KARAOKE, THIS WILL BE THE PLACE!!!

My husband and I go there when we have the money and we know everyone and they know us. Dj holly is really good a d the service is very good. If you go on Friday nights that is where most of your fun is. They have more songs than just country.

A great place to have fun with family and friends. The beer was always cold and the karaoke was a blast. I can't sing a tune to save my life but no one seemed to care. Everyone seemed happy to be there. I would definitely be back soon. As for you people crying about the smoking and the smell of smoke, look where you are, it called a bar and smoking is allowed. If you dont want to smell smoke try finding a bar that doesn't allow smoking. Good luck with that. My family is having a fundraiser for a sick baby boy to get the treatment he needs so he can live a long healthy life and I am trying to convince them to have at your place. Great food and great atmosphere. Nice little bar with karaoke nightly. Good drink specials. Does allow smoking. Has been remodeled and is a little bigger than it was originally. Pool table and cornhole games there.

Love this bar for karaoke. Would like to see the addition of an open mic night for comedy, like when Froggy Bottoms was still open. I would really support local talent and this is a great place to host it. Clay, meet your new #1 customer if you can make it happen

Hands down the best karaoke bar in town. Everyone from the doormen to the waitresses and bartenders are very welcoming. The food is phenomenal. And the customer service is even better!

We came in for the live music and a drink last night but I ended up with something so much more. That was the absolute best food I've ever had at a bar before ! I visited with the young lady who cooked it and I must say she is a real gem. The amount of depth and love that was put into her food is something you don't find often anymore. Amazing job with scoring that one Adolph's you have won over a new customer for sure . This will be our new favorite spot to get top notch cooking and cold beer in lubbock tx.

Just in town for a couple days. Popped in because they were having Karaoke on a weeknight. The door guy, DJ, Bartender and Server were all super friendly. I didn't have to wait more than a minute or so for a drink. I was hesitant to go to the bar alone but I don't remember the last time I was more welcomed from the entire staff! Thank you!

Here in town for work, and found this place on the recommendation of a coworker. Food was amazing and the portion sizes for the cost was impressive. Holly, the KJ was friendly and funny, and kept things moving quickly when karaoke started up. Plenty of drink specials (wouldn't know how heavy they pour - I don't drink) but it was a solid time. Would recommend this place and will be back if I'm around this area again!

I'm from Indiana.. Last night was my first time at a bar here in Lubbock, and glad we picked this place!!! I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with tator tots, thats the best hamburger, I've ever ate in my life. Food is amazing. Drink prices are cheap. Great music.

Won’t be back. : Update: after the response from the owner I reluctantly went back in with a friend on Halloween and there were new faces. I received much better customer service. Had a good experience. We hit a couple dive bars that night. Upped my rating to four stars. Got into an argument with a guy who claim to be in the Irish Mafia or something SMH the manager stepped in I Eventually left but everything’s cool, it’s a rough bar but it’s a good time. Update #2. If you post a review and the manager doesnt like it he will be vindictive and harass you, follow you around and find any reason to kick you out. In this case he is claiming I threatened him in the parking lot. If you post a negative review DONT GO BACK. Everytime I was talking to someone he would walk up to see if there was a problem. After this review I was on his radar.

Great atmosphere! I truly enjoy myself every time I visit this place! My only complaint would be, that there is not enough seating to accommodate the number of patrons, but everything else is spot-on!!

Had a great time, Karaoke was fun to watch. Servers were a little slow had to get up and get the first round of drinks myself otherwise it was a good time.

We had a get-together with some friends here and it was weird. The regulars are a real strange bunch that said and did some uncomfortable things, but the dj was very professional and handled them well. She had a killer voice and mash-ups.

I went on a Saturday night. Very busy, so service was slow, but polite and accurate. It was karaoke night so it was noisy but no belligerent drunks singing or harassing singers. Clean, nonjudgmental atmosphere. I gave 4 out of 5 because of their "starting a tab" rule that I was uninformed of when I handed over my card. If you want to start a tab, they automatically charge $30, no matter how small your tab is, until they know that the funds there. So the next day, when I checked my account, it freaked me out because I had only spent a total of $25 and that extra $5 makes a difference to me. The following day it posted as $25 after it had cleared the bank, but the hassle of having to call the bar the next day and having whoever answered speak to me in a belittling manner explain their tab rule, (why would that be common knowledge?!), was enough to make me feel they needed the demotion to 4 stars.

Only complaint was the cigarette smoke, but also part of Adolph’s ambiance. Chill vibes + karaoke + dance floor + good drinks = GREAT night. We went in to just stop by and ended up staying the rest of the night.

This will probably be our go-to place because it's within walking distance. However, do not expect that they are open until 2 a.m. as is advertised online. They are actually open until 1:30 a.m.. they are kind of jerks about kicking you out at that time. While serving you the staff is fairly nice and the bathrooms are unexpectedly clean. Overall it will be a positive experience. Just expect it to close earlier than is advertised on Google. ----------------- *Updates since owner's response* The one thing I think would make a big difference is if you could somehow curb your doorman's terrible attitude towards customers. Everytime we have gone in there and asked him a question, he has given us a dickheaded response. One example is that we asked him "when does the bar close" and he responded "closing time." This happened upon entering, so there is no excuse for him. It's like we can never get a straightforward answer from that guy. The rest of your staff is fine, but it's fairly off-putting when that sneering jerk is the first person to greet you. Putting that issue aside, I think that being as upfront as possible goes a really long way. I think that it would be a good idea to invest a few bucks to hang a sign informing customers of your credit card policies. Everyone thinks it's weird, but everyone would be totally fine with it as long as they were informed upon starting a tab. This would save the morning shift time in answering phone calls from confused customers. I think it would also save the wait staff time by not having to explain the policies in detail. I know that I, as a customer, initially felt hesitant to stay when I heard the policy the first time around, but I'm fine with it now that I'm aware of it. Ultimately, I'm trying to say that 1) I think it would save you money in the long run to put up a sign regarding your card policies and 2) cheer up that doorman. I'd even settle for a neutral one.

The wait for a drink is very long when busy.. bartenders are not fast at all and only work one speed. Great atmosphere and fun (if) the drink wait time is low.

Absurdly loud, but still a fun karaoke bar. Do yourself a favor and sit AWAY from the speakers, it makes for a more enjoyable night.

Friendly bartenders. Fast servers. Nice environment. . . Karaoke DJ not so much. How does a place advertise karaoke but every time you sign up, she "forgets your name" or never calls you to sing. I reminded her I had a song and she said "you're next" but after I watched the same singers get called in rotation multiple times, she announces that there are no more singers and if you want to sign up, you can. . . I signed up 3 times and was called once. I'd be distracted too if I had all my friends were in the booth with me.

Crowded, smoky, and often violent. Shots fired in the parking lot when we went. They need better smoke eaters for the smoke, but at least they still allow it. Had a guy harassing our group, manager wouldn't do anything until a fight nearly broke out. Be careful going here.

They just charged my card for $30 for Dollars almost a week after I was in there and said it was a pre approval charge because I opened a tab there a week ago. Don't give them your card pay cash or don't go in.

Bad service , they take long to service me . I waited a hour for a drink , there staff are rude and very unprofessional. Restroom are very dirty when kindly asked why they taking long to waiters me another drink they told me to wait my turn so rudely . I asked to talk to manager and they claim he was to busy to talk , when I asked there names they didn’t want to tell me.

My brother went into Adolph's yesterday, and was forcefully dragged out of the bar and was accused of stealing someone's wallet. My brother would never do such a thing and was searched and never had the wallet. They said they had him on camera, and LIED. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Do not come to this establishment unless you want to be targeted, assaulted, and publicly humiliated for no reason. I fully expect an apology and for Adolph's to make this right.

I left a $10 tip and the waitress added extra 0. $100 tip was not authorized. I called my bank to stop payment and dispute the charge. It took them two months and they denied refund. Shadiness.

Absolutely HATE the Karaoke host we had tonight (Saturday night) he was terrible, you could tell there was favoritism with there regulars... i get that we don't come out weekly, but how are you supposed to gain new clients if they don't get to sing while everyone else singing gets to 3-4 times while i patiently waited for hours ... I'm never returning here ... ruined date night 100%

We stopped in here about 6:15 on a Friday night on March 16th. It was not busy at all No one acknowledged our presence at all. While we were seated and waiting to order a drink, A guy came in and the bartender met him back behind the bar for a nice long kiss and hug. Then she proceeded back around to the bar and got him a beer. After about 15 minutes and no service,, we got up and left.

Good luck trying to request a song if your Mexican!! . We waited 4 hours and still did not get a chance to karaoke our song.. but our white friends sang 3 times before we even got called on. We left before we they called us.

Went there last night to get a hamburger and a beer. Ordered my food and 30 minutes later the bartender was saying sorry it’s taking so long. Still waited and had more staff tell me they were sorry. I asked what was going on as the establishment wasn’t that busy. They just shrugged their shoulders and said I don’t know. Lady next to me said don’t feel bad, I’ve been waiting 45 min for chips and dip. At that point I just closed out and left. Place used to be a great spot to go but since my last visit it has went down hill. Plus staff smoking a marijuana vape at the bar. Very unprofessional.

If I can give this bar zero stars, that’s what I would give it, they were trying to double charge me when I have five receipts showing when I signed out and closed my tab. Like are you bartenders just that stupid to know when someone Close their tab. Worst bar ever should be shut down.

To be fair, my fiancee and I enjoy Adolph’s. The atmosphere is cool, the staff is cool; we always have a good time. We had a good time during our last visit as well, except for a particular event, which took me aback, and unfortunately has convinced me not to return until some R&D gets done on the new bouncer team. Now, I’m not really sure what I did to upset these gentleman on this particular night, but as I had started to find the restroom, two different bouncers felt the need to rudely correct my stride and tell me where the restroom is, mind you not even knowing I was looking for the restroom. I could’ve been walking over to the bar, to see a friend that popped in, or even to simply exit the bar. Just chill man, let me walk around. Not like I was sitting in there licking windows before I got up to piss. I will return in a fiscal quarter to update this review, because again, I like this place. Also, it would be cool if the secret random pool tournament could be posted on the door, or… something? Because it lasts all night, and largely, Adolph’s is our favorite once in awhile pool spot. Understandably, many people share this sentiment, hence the tournament in the first place, which I think is cool, and would even like to join. It seems I may have to if I want to play pool here on any given Saturday. On a positive note, our waitress was lovely, drinks were cold and cheap as always, and we were able to have a nice time all things considered. I just know I can’t be the only man like myself who likes to come here, and hope some improvement is seen once we return in February or March. Love y’all! The service is super slow. We had to get up from our table and walk to the bar several times to order and that was because we had a waitress. Football was playing on the antiquated television sets, but there was no volume. There wasn't music playing either. It almost seemed as though we were in a public library - very quiet for being a bar. The bar had around 10 people max and this was after 5pm. The ambiance was strange - not sure if I will return to this bar.
