I'm from Indiana.. Last night was my first time at a bar here in Lubbock, and glad we picked this place!!! I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with tator tots, thats the best hamburger, I've ever ate in my life. Food is amazing. Drink prices are cheap. Great music.

The atmosphere is so good! Fun ppl and great bartenders. It was hard to talk to the person I went with due to how loud it was and waiting on a waitress or anyone to get a drink was a little more than I wanted to wait but other than that, fun as hell!

Only complaint was the cigarette smoke, but also part of Adolph’s ambiance. Chill vibes + karaoke + dance floor + good drinks = GREAT night. We went in to just stop by and ended up staying the rest of the night.

Was not expecting so much ice. So of you want to drink a margaritas make sure you ask for lite/no ice.

Went there last night to get a hamburger and a beer. Ordered my food and 30 minutes later the bartender was saying sorry it’s taking so long. Still waited and had more staff tell me they were sorry. I asked what was going on as the establishment wasn’t that busy. They just shrugged their shoulders and said I don’t know. Lady next to me said don’t feel bad, I’ve been waiting 45 min for chips and dip. At that point I just closed out and left. Place used to be a great spot to go but since my last visit it has went down hill. Plus staff smoking a marijuana vape at the bar. Very unprofessional.

If I can give this bar zero stars, that’s what I would give it, they were trying to double charge me when I have five receipts showing when I signed out and closed my tab. Like are you bartenders just that stupid to know when someone Close their tab. Worst bar ever should be shut down.

To be fair, my fiancee and I enjoy Adolph’s. The atmosphere is cool, the staff is cool; we always have a good time. We had a good time during our last visit as well, except for a particular event, which took me aback, and unfortunately has convinced me not to return until some R&D gets done on the new bouncer team. Now, I’m not really sure what I did to upset these gentleman on this particular night, but as I had started to find the restroom, two different bouncers felt the need to rudely correct my stride and tell me where the restroom is, mind you not even knowing I was looking for the restroom. I could’ve been walking over to the bar, to see a friend that popped in, or even to simply exit the bar. Just chill man, let me walk around. Not like I was sitting in there licking windows before I got up to piss. I will return in a fiscal quarter to update this review, because again, I like this place. Also, it would be cool if the secret random pool tournament could be posted on the door, or… something? Because it lasts all night, and largely, Adolph’s is our favorite once in awhile pool spot. Understandably, many people share this sentiment, hence the tournament in the first place, which I think is cool, and would even like to join. It seems I may have to if I want to play pool here on any given Saturday. On a positive note, our waitress was lovely, drinks were cold and cheap as always, and we were able to have a nice time all things considered. I just know I can’t be the only man like myself who likes to come here, and hope some improvement is seen once we return in February or March. Love y’all! Oh, and Adolph, I do await your response, my good man. A star was removed after 7 days of nonresponse. A star was removed after 14 days of nonresponse.

The service is super slow. We had to get up from our table and walk to the bar several times to order and that was because we had a waitress. Football was playing on the antiquated television sets, but there was no volume. There wasn't music playing either. It almost seemed as though we were in a public library - very quiet for being a bar. The bar had around 10 people max and this was after 5pm. The ambiance was strange - not sure if I will return to this bar.
