Logan's Roadhouse Abilene Reviews
I can’t thank the staff at Logan’s enough! I accidentally left my phone—with cash, my credit card, and my driver’s license—at our table. When my husband called my phone, the staff answered and let us know they had safely placed it in the office. When I returned, everything was still there just as I left it. I am so grateful for their honesty and kindness. And by the way—our meal was perfect too! Highly recommend!
We can in with a large group, 10 people, at first they said 2 hr wait but the front of house girl quickly found us a table. Which we appreciated very much as we had 3 handicapped individuals and it was my aunts birthday. Steaks so tender you could cut with a butter knife. We highly recommend. Was my 1st time at a Logans.
Me and my family have always missed Logan's since they shut down their Odessa location. We found out Abilene had a Logan's and gave it a try. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and seated. Immediately the waitress attended us and took amazing care of us. The steaks were AMAZING, literly cooked to perfection, and the beer was cold. Very pleased! Brought back memories.
One of my favorite restaurants. Always good service. Always good food and the rolls are to die for. So very sad the location in Amarillo closed but so happy to find one in Abilene so I can travel and still have a good meal.
One of the best experiences in Abilene I've ever had. I have been visiting this chain way back before this facility chooses during the first part of COVID. I was so happy that reopened. I Love their steaks. Always cooked exactly as ordered and the taste is exceptional. As we entered we were led back to the treat of the seating area. At first I thought and actually shared with the lady who seated us, "What did I do to get sent to the back of the class room" we day there for a few minutes before anyone arrived to take out drink orders. And out of nowhere came this beautiful personality with a smile to die for beating hot fresh rolls. Hey name is Symia. So when you visit this establishment ask of she is on shift and request her area with total confidence. The food was amazing, fresh and extremely well seasoned. I was so impressed with her service I had to share me experience with her manager. This is a must visit Steak House in Abilene Texas.
We had a really good lunch at Logan’s, but the biggest downside was the wait. Even though there were several open tables, we still had to wait quite a while before being seated, which was frustrating. Once we finally got to our table though, everything improved—the food was hot and delicious, the rolls were as good as ever, and our server was friendly and attentive. In the end, the meal made up for the slow seating, but it definitely stood out as something that could’ve been better.
Food was ok. Chicken was a little over cooked...mashed potatoes were great silverware was dirty so was my cup. Server was good. We may give them another try one day
Okay let me start off by saying the food was good and it had flavor. But when I go to a restaurant and they say that they have fall off the bone ribs. That is what I am expecting to get but there was nothing fall off the bone about those ribs and this is like the 6 or 7 time I've been going there. But they do make a good stake me and my wife both like the stakes
To start with we visited this Logans on a weekday so we expected fast service and a small crowd. The crowd was small but the service was a little slow. Our waitress was super nice and attentive to us, as expected due to the small crowd. We both ordered a steak combo which I had the 6 oz.. steak and brisket sausage, the wife had the steak and shrimp skewer. The foor tasted good, but the steak was over cooked and dry. Flavor was on point though. We both ordered medium steaks but got well done. As always the peanuts were unlimited and I always enjoy throwing the shells on the floor. I would have given 4 stars but the simplicity of cooking a steak to medium should be something a steak joint does right especially on a weeknight.
My boyfriend and I came here hungry to eat. The hostess was nice, told us there was a 20min wait and we decided to go to the bar to eat instead. We got waters right away, but waited about 10min for the bartender to come back and ask us if we wanted another drink. She was kind, nothing against her, but I suspect their restaurant is understaffed. We put in our drink order which she prepared quickly, and then put our order in. There were some unhappy guests at the bar about how slow the service was already, so that unfortunately made the environment a little less warm for us - mostly due to a snarky server that said "complain more" as the guest was speaking. Me and my boyfriend as well as another couple at the bar became pessimistic about the service speed, which unfortunately was exactly what we got. Food took about 30min+ to come out despite a mostly-empty restaurant. My boyfriend really likes the beer battered fish and gives good props to that. I, on the other hand, fought my "stay-on-the-bone" ribs as they were anything but tender. Sides were decent. I wouldn't go here if you're hungry and ready to eat...
I ordered a med rare filet for my wife and I to share. I ordered it Togo as I just got off of work, I parked on the side. Apparently ordering food todo and sitting there and eating it in the parking lot is criminal activity. Without warning the manager called the police on us. After the police confirmed we had bought our food there minutes before, we received no form of apology or anything.
I am usually understanding but we were in Abilene for the weekend and we came in around 7:20 and accepted when they let us know it would be a 30 min wait so we decide to sit at the bar to have a drink and yes I told the host that's what we were doing, so right when we sat down we told but a nice man that she was real busy because she was having to see w huge party so we were like that's fine np not knowing she would not acknowledge us for about 20 min., meanwhile we are watching the host to make sure he didn't forget about us and he even made eye contact every time well wouldn't u know after being there 40 min. He does just that so the customer next to us for his attention and he came over and had the audacity to say I'm not in trouble am I to which we said well we just seen u sit someone who came in after us and he says oh I thought y'all decided to move to the bar which we never said so we just paid for our drinks that we didn't even finish and left. I was so disappointed with how slow all the workers seem to move it wasn't a pleasant experience.
Waited quite a while to be served. Then Waited longer to order. Ribeye steak ($25) was dry and tough. Wasn't served rolls so I asked for some and only after finishing my meal was I offered any. Had to go and steal salt and pepper from another table. Was never asked how my food was. Was only able to prder one drink the hour and 10 minutes because waitress was nowhere to be seen.
This is what we got for 23 dollars. The ribs were tough and such a small portion. First time and LAST time we will be back. This was father's day. I also told the waitress how we weren't happy with our service. She made the comment " well, you ate it", then pursued to take my money and check us out. I have never been so unhappy with anywhere we have been to eat. This probably explains why we were the only ones there eating.
I've never been so disgruntled by a dish before in my life and I've grown up poor. ITS DRY! Has no depth, no flavor beyond the sauce and the meatballs I can taste are frozen for months before being used only to be replaced by another 50lb box. On top of that the meatballs a fully Grey and probably hard bread since they are bland and have no flavor beyond one weak layer of imitation meatball. The pasta, is dry, the only flavor is sauce and that it self is 1 dimensional. It's like, basic, unseasonably, uncrared, tomatoes sauce. There isn't even any parmasean or basil like the ad says. I'm never ever ordering from here or ever going to visit this location and any other location simply based on this one simple dish. I havenever taken my time out of my life to leave a negative review for food. But this warrants me to take such time to make this review on here and door dash and report it to Leo's Kitchen.
Visited Logans for lunch with our grandchildren. We were greeted with a smile and seated immediately. We didn't get any peanuts, not sure if they offer anymore. However, the atmosphere changed with the waitress. She brought us our rolls with no plates. After asking for some, she brought us 3 plates for our party of 4. She made no effort to be friendly. Not a smile nor a "you're welcome" after thanking her continually during our visit. To start off? They were out of Raspberry Tea, so I had to settle for Peach tea. I didn't care much for it; so my husband drank it. I just drank water. The children's drinks were served with lids. Perfect! The popcorn shrimp and fries off the childrens menu was the perfect size for my 5 yr. old granddaughter. She ate all her shrimp. The burger my other granddaughter ordered looked delicious. Eating only half because it was big for her. My husband and I ordered the country chicken fried steak. Side fries for him, a baked potatoe for me. We both ordered a salad. It was crisp and delicious. However, when our meal came out, I could not believe the size of our chicken fried steak. It looked like something off the childrens menu. Such a disappointment. Well, the waitress eventually said you're welcome and even managed to give a small smile. Not sure if we will return. It was pricey for such a small meal and unfriendly service.
