Everything at Casa María is wonderful. The service is excellent, the owner is incredibly friendly and warm, the food is delicious, and I even got a free traditional drink. It's obvious they truly care about their customers. And the prices are very affordable. Highly recommended. The Oaxacan hot chocolate is delicious. The jarocho breakfast and pozole are also delicious. I couldn't stomach the chingorolo because it was too strong 😅, but with Sprite, it tasted great. Everything was excellent.

The service leaves much to be desired. I don't know if it was just my bad luck, but I ordered a platter and it tasted like it was frozen. The tortilla was very bland and had a cooked egg that clearly hadn't been freshly made. I felt like it had been microwaved. I ordered a drink that's advertised as natural orange flavor, but it tasted like Tang. When I asked, it turned out to be a concentrated drink they sell at Sam's Club, according to the waitress. I'll give it another chance, but this time it wasn't a good experience.
