Armando's Tacos Addison Reviews
What a great find while we were in the Las Colinas/Irving area. Convenient location near 635 and Belt Line. Ample parking in front. Don't think twice about the humble exterior, you'll won't regret the food, great service, and clean interior. We had breakfast here and had a green chilaquiles plate and a huevos à la Mexicana breakfast burrito. Amazing!!! Fresh, great flavor, Chile was nice and spicy (green is hotter than the red) and I can't wait to come back for lunch! True Mexican food - no Tex-Mex.
I ordered the Fajita Torta, which came with fries. The torta itself was really good — the meat had great flavor, and the bread was the perfect mix of soft and crunchy. The only downside was the fries. They were warm, but they had an oily taste, almost like they hadn’t been drained properly before being served but still good to eat. Overall, the food was great, but I’m not a fan of ordering only through a kiosk. A little personal touch goes a long way. Even a simple ‘hello’ and letting customers know they can order at the kiosk would make the experience feel much more welcoming. I forgot to take a picture of the food before but my empty plate shows it was good.
The young man who took our order was very helpful when we asked questions about certain dishes. I had 2 barbacoa (sp?) tacos & 1 fajita taco. The barbacoa was tender & juicy & yummy!!! The fajita was seasoned perfect for my taste, but it was a little dry. The fresh onions & cilantro on the tacos is always so good!! The beans were also good & fresh. I wasn't a fan of the rice, but my husband liked it. He had the chicken quesadillas (sp?) He said they were very flavorful! I also had 1 sopa. Again, the fajita was really good, but I expected the dough it be softer but it was a mini waffle & it was hard & dry. The flavors of the toppings were good, but I wouldn't get it again because of the waffle. Overall I would go back again!!
Edit: was so good yesterday that I came back and bought more for my co-workers today. Love supporting small businesses especially when the food tastes this good! Every time I’ve come to the IBM offices down the street I’ve wanted to come here but never had the chance. Today I made the chance and I was not disappointed! Breakfast tacos were stuffed and so was the burrito! All for $10. If you find yourself in the area, give them a try. Going to have to go by for lunch one day!
I got the enchiladas verdes, and a Carmel churro. All of the food seemed to be made to order, so everything was hot and fresh. Don't expect to be in and out like fast food chains, because this food was cooked with care. I'll definitely be back to try something new soon.
Great food for the price. Counter service only. Bus your own table. Churros are the best around and at $2.50, they're a great deal. Get one! On Wednesdays, tacos are about $1.50 each. Yes, taco Wednesday. I know it's strange, but good.
This place has awesome food. It doesn't have a lot of traffic but it's a gem of a place. We are glad we tried it and have been back several times. Clean, with great food! It's a win. I recommend the Enchiladas. Thank you Anibal! Great service.

Have ate at Armandos Tacos since they opened and the food is always fresh and good. Customer service with Anibal is amazing. Always ready to take my order and make sure I’m well taken care of. I definitely recommend stopping if you’re in the area- will not disappoint
Phenomenal breakfast tacos!!! The red sauce is some of the best if you like spicy. Definitely will be back!
Simple no frills breakfast tacos. They were really good. We definitely go back for lunch tacos!
Very authentic Mexican food. Specifically the chips, tacos, and churros are highly recommended!
Highly recommend this new taco spot in Coppell, TX! The tortas are HUGE and the burrito is a nice size. They provide complimentary red and green salsa, and they are delicious. Red salsa has got a nice kick. Their team was quick, and customer service was great. They had a digital touchscreen to place orders as well. You should support local and visit this new spot for some good Mexican food!

Easy ordering. You order on a kiosk machine. The wait can get a little longer during lunch. The tacos are good and tasty. I would eat here again. Good flavor and seasoning.
It's a small place nice you have to order first then find a table good customer service food was good on point on Mexican dishes we order menudo ( if you want harmony on your menudo you have to let them know ) burrito chorizo and egg drink I got jamaca it's little pricey I recommend this place
Simply delicious Mexican food. No frills. No fancy decoration. Just great food.

I've been driving by this place a few times omw to work. I decided to stop and try it today. Not sure how to feel about it. My first time ordering Mexican food from a kiosk at a Mexican restaurant. The tacos were ok and the limonada was ok as well. Thru can at least take off the price tags that are on the salt shakers but what caught my eye was the dead cricket that looked like it's been there since this morning 🤷🏼♂️. Unless I'm really hungry I might come back.
I’ve been driving by Armando’s for a while and finally decided to try it. The window outside says that menudo is available Friday and Saturday but there was a sign inside that say menudo is available everyday. I had to try it. It was okay. We also tried the enchiladas (one chicken and one beef) and this was also only okay. There wasn’t anything wrong with things, but nothing stood out. This was just average. There’s nothing wrong with that but if I was in the mood for Mexican food I would just go somewhere else if I had that option. With tip, it was $42 for those two meals. The parking lot is a bit small and it’s literally right next to an elevated train track.
This is a very average eatery. The food is rather bland and a bit pricey for what's provided. I will say that the menudo wasn't too greasy, but it required a lot of salt to extract the flavor. Dining in is a good option as the place is clean and spacious. $16.50 for three bland tacos and menudo with bread.

Slow service poor quality ingredients the "aguas frescas" are artificial flavor not fresh natural. Service is not friendly nor hospitable at all. Beans and rice had no flavor at all. The establishment itself is not as bad but isn't as functional to deliver to go or dine in. The beef tacos meat is most likely in a steamer, making it not as appetizing. The chicharron was not fresh made. The barbacoa well didn't look like barbacoa nor taste like it.
Food is decent, but not worth the amount you spend. On the border prices but not the quality. The young man working the front (when I was there) only spoke to the people of Hispanic culture or white, no introduction to any of the black people who walked in; Which pretty much sums up my last time giving them my dollar for okay food.
I had high expectations for this place. I came in for breakfast tacos and was a bit disappointed compared to what I am used to in Houston. I had three tacos with egg & Chorizo, beans, and cheese. They came out very dark, with hardly any beans or cheese on them (and they charged extra for both items) and there was not any to speak of. The corn tortillas were hard and stale. They were overly salty as well. Will not be coming back here again.

Food was terrible. Tacos were cold, meat had no flavor and overall overpriced for what it is.
