We went here on a whim and our waiter AJ made sure to take care of us despite the busy night! He was attentive and made sure to check in with us multiple times throughout the night. Would come here again for AJ 🤩

Well... it was kind of a caos when we arrived... had a long wait time even though we did our reservation.... but when finally seated, it kind of fixed our initial experience because most of the servers were so kind and friendly, Cameron was excellent. Also the food was great but the woody flavor was too strong. Anyhow, we want to thank all these people for taking their time to serve us on this special day. Instead of being with their family. This location is the best!! Whether you want to go for happy hour and hang out at the bar or go the full experience. I highly recommend this location! Jason is an amazing bartender and always friendly and remembers his customers. The food and drinks are always amazing! The entire staff goes out of their way to be sure you have the best experience.

Great place. Went there to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Our server was very helpful. She explained the process clearly. They abide by the COVID regulations; cleaning, sanitizing immediately after guests leave, wearing masks and gloves near salad buffet etc. My husband really liked his wine, I ordered a cocktail which was great as well. We ordered jumbo shrimps as appetizer and Creme Brûlée as dessert. Both were outstanding. Of course the meats were excellent as well.

First time at Fogo de Chão and it’s a hit ! Make a reservation btw :) greeted at the entrance and taken to table quick, servers were all really sweet and attentive, letting us know everything about the menu, always filling up our drinks and asking if we needed anything most of the times , making sure we were having the best experience there . The food was really delicious, all the variety of food at the market table was exciting, I tried to taste everything but I got too full . All the meats were really good with nice texture . The crème brûlée was AMAZING, so sweet and light , just a perfect ending .

This is our favorite Fogo location in the area, and every time we are very pleased with the great service, food, and ambience. Our server, DJ, did an excellent job of taking care of us and helped make a birthday dinner memorable. The salad bar had a nice assortment of charcuterie, vegetables, and fresh fruit which was very tasty. The meat that was brought out was seasoned well and cooked to perfection. The big thing here I've enjoyed is the consistency in high quality food and service. Spent the day fasting waiting for dinner so come with an empty stomach

Our server was Eduardo, he was great... very attentive and helpful! The food was really good but considering it's a Brazilian "churrasco" steakhouse, some specific meat cuts were missing. On the salad bar, they had Feijoada available, but it's not authentic brazilian feijoada, it's only beans and sausage. The Caipirinha was excellent!!

Donnie was an excellent server and made our entire experience from the time we sat down until we left awesome! He was very kind and attentive throughout the entire night.

We choose to come on Thanksgiving because there is enough food on the table. You don’t even know what to eat. The food was excellent. The service was exceptional, Eduardo was very attentive and extremely servicial.

We love to get the full meat experience, which is an all you can eat deal with the salad bar included. It’s fun when the staff come to your table offering different hot cuts. Our server Bryce was very attentive and kept up with our bread and banana addiction (I really love their cheese bread and sweet banana side).

The customer service from AJ, Eduardo, Rafaela and Edo was exceptional. They took care of me and my husband’s every request! even when we didn’t like the table we were sitting at they moved us to a better one with no problem and swiftly. definitely coming back to this location to see them.

Every time we dine here, we have a wonderful experience. You are given an opportunity to taste a variety of meats that are sliced at your table. One of my favorites is the parmesan crusted chicken. I also enjoy the lamb. However, there are several options for you to taste and decide on your own personal favorite. Either way you will not be disappointed. I also recommend the salad bar as there are so many options. If I'm being honest. If you are in the mood for just salad or salad bar options, you won't be disappointed by the variety of items on the salad bar. It's definitely worth your try. For dessert if you still have room, I recommend the tres leches cake. It is amazing!

Had a great dinner here! The atmosphere is awesome! There are so many options at the salad bar, very fresh and great options. We enjoyed all the meat served. What surprised me is the baked cheese. The brown sugar coat is so delicious. The dessert looks good, but no room for me to have them 😂

As always, Fogo NEVER fails. Proteins were all on point and the spread at the salad bar was bountiful. We visit Fogo in Dallas very frequently, but decided to give Addison a try. Eduardo was wonderful, attentive, & very welcoming. I like a good bees knees that is very tart & unfortunately they didn’t make it as requested, but Eduardo fixed it immediately & brought extra lemons. Will be requesting Eduardo as our waiter at the next visit.

Never had an experience quite like this one but our server Donnie worked me and my wife through the whole process of the art of meat that they presented. So many things were amazing from the charcuterie and extensive unique salad bar to the hand carved perfectly cooked meats constantly being brought to the table. From reservation to service to food to paying the bill: everything was perfection! For those of you who don’t know: at this restaurant, you have a card on your table that if it is on the side that shows the color green people come around and they offer you different cuts of meat. When you are done or when you are eating, then you can flip the card over to where it is red and they will not come and bother you with more food. Until you are ready, then you flip your card back over to green and so on and so forth. Now for someone like myself who does not eat meat, it is perfect because they have what they called the “market table“ and it is all fresh fruits and vegetables and salads and soups that you can eat; these are meat free. The atmosphere here is so calming and so relaxing. It was a pleasure to have our 11th anniversary dinner here. My husband planned this very well :-) I usually end a foodie review with some thing that they can improve on, but in all honesty, there really is nothing that they can improve on. Especially when they have epic sangrias that are at the epitome of perfection :-) in which case I had to have two just to make sure :-)

This place NEVER disappoints.. from the salad bar and soup, the pan de quejo is like a drug, the table sides are the accent to the meal, the gauchos that bring the meat-you can never get enough, and the atmosphere is perfect for intimate dining and a great place for all kinds of celebrations. We’ve been here for date night, graduation dinner & birthday celebration. Every time we go, we look forward for another reason to come back. I didn’t get a picture of the meats because I was stuffing my face and forgot to stop for a photo, I’m so glad the have the stop and go cards. And the service is always impeccable and you always feel like you’re a celebrity, non stop spoiling. Gotta drop by and try them out, you won’t be disappointed.

Not ever been a huge fan of Fogo if I’m being honest. However I must give credit where credit is due and I would be lying if I said I had anything but a tremendous experience the other night. I found a new love for their salad bar which was very fresh and unique. The meat was prepared well and tasted better. The service was professional, Donnie made sure we were taken care of and provided a better than standard experience

This was the one that started it all for me. The first churrascaria I ever went to. The Addison location has always been top tier even when compared to other Fogo de Chaos. They proved it AGAIN, when we ordered the molten lava chocolate cake, my daughter told the server that we were celebrating her plushie Tails (from Sonic) birthday she went the extra mile and left a special birthday message on the dessert plate for Tails. This location has operated at this same level for at least the last 13 years (since my first time going). The food is prepared phenomenally. We visit this location at least twice a year and they never disappoint from the moment you arrive with complimentary valet, to the moment you leave with every manager, server and host you cross paths with thanking you as you exit. Check it out on your next special occasion, date night or night out.

A Memorable Anniversary Experience My partner and I have been visiting Fogo de Chão off and on for the past three years. During that time, we’ve shared many wonderful meals and made plenty of lasting memories. Our first few visits were nothing short of exceptional great food, warm service, and an atmosphere that made every occasion feel special. There was one visit back in 2023 when we encountered a server who was unfortunately discourteous, which left us disappointed at the time. We decided to explore other Brazilian steakhouses, including Texas de Brazil and Estilo Gaúcho. While each had its own strengths, none quite captured the signature experience and hospitality that Fogo offers. Earlier this evening, we decided to return to Fogo de Chão to celebrate our three-year anniversary and we’re so glad we did. Over the course of the evening, we were assisted by several servers, but one in particular truly stood out: Jacob. His professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine care for our dining experience were remarkable. Jacob went above and beyond to ensure everything we requested was promptly and perfectly handled. We wish we could give him a rating higher than 5/5. Fogo de Chão continues to impress us with its flavorful offerings, especially the lamb with mint jelly an absolute standout and the decadent crème brûlée to finish. These signature touches, combined with the exceptional service from staff like Jacob, remind us why the Fogo experience is unmatched. Thank you, Jacob, for making our anniversary celebration so memorable. We’ll absolutely be recommending Fogo de Chão to our friends and family.

Jacob was awesome, gave me and my family excellent service. I'll be asking for him every time. Food was great, hostess was unpleasant to say the least and i'm surprised that they chose her as the first face of the restaurant you see but Jacob made up for that with his attentiveness!

I don't often give five star reviews because most places I don't feel really deserve five stars and aren't outstanding at everything. Fogo de Chao Brazilian restaurant is one of the few exceptions to the rule for me. Fogo de Chao by far meets all standards of being five star and I might give them more if it were an option even. The food, it was absolutely overwhelmingly delicious. The selection that they offer in their salad bar is tremendously overwhelming and a person could fill themselves easily by just the wonderful food and the salad bar. Many of the things there I have never even had before and it's in itself a great experience. Then, there is the meat but they provide. Individual wait staff come by with massive amounts of various types of meat and cut it off the selection they are presenting. Not sure exactly what you call how they bring it around but quite unusual. And again the meat, the flavors and the options are overwhelmingly fabulous. Selections of beef pork lamb and fish and possibly others I don't remember. They also have a selection of desserts if you find that you have not filled up at the end of the meal. I had to take my dessert home to eat. The atmosphere is well overwhelming. Very nice and so very clean as well. Then there is the wait staff. They are on the floor ready to be beckoned to your every call. No waiting for him to come around to supply more of anything. They are on top of it and available to you almost instantly. The only downside to this place is the cost. It is rather pricey but well worth the experience if you can. They have wheelchair access, they have handicap options, they have valet parking. However, not really a place you would want to bring a young child to, don't think they would do well here with this type of establishment.

They were super busy tonight. Restaurant Month Dinner Special for $39.99. We waited 20 mins even with a reservation. The service was slow but good. The food was good as usual. The grilled pineapple with pork belly was so good. It cleanses the palette and helps with digestion.

If you love meat, not just beef, but also chicken, lamb, pork, etc… this is the perfect place. Dined here for a friends birthday. We had a party of about 10 people and the service was excellent. The meat just kept coming, to our delight! The lamb chops are excellent! If you have not had lamb before, that is a chance for you to start. Other than the delightful food, the location is right, in Addison a little in the middle of most Dallas suburbs. The restaurant is cozy, clean and the staff is really helpful.

I went to Fogo de Chão on Thanksgiving. First, I spoke with Eduardo about a reservation and he was LITERALLY AMAZING in helping me at the last minute. In less than 10 minutes we had our table ready. Eduardo and Wydu were also great at explaining the experience of dining at Fogo de Chão and both were very attentiven not only with our table, but with all the other ones around us. Eduardo and Wydu did an amazing job, they were friendly, patient, and attentive, and being honest. They keep a genuine smile the entire time I was there with EVERY SINGLE CUSTOMER. I know how hard it is to work at a restaurant during this holiday season. They did AMAZING. I want to be helped by them everytime I go back there.

Celebrated Veteran’s Day with the family. The restaurant closes after lunch and reopens at 5:00 p.m. for dinner. Although I had a reservation we had to wait about seven minutes to be seated. Not too bad of a wait. The place was clean and the salad bar was well stocked. Danny our server was great and attended to all our needs. I did the churrasco experience but they have other options as well. Few things I didn’t like was serving soda drinks from cans. Not having Mexican Coca Cola and if you don’t have a reservation you might be waiting a while to be seated. I encourage to make reservations by calling or using website. Only TVs to watch are located only at the bar. Also parking can get difficult to get because of the location and vicinity of other restaurants. Overall good experience with the staff, servers, drinks. I hope they continue to be this good.

Rafaela was very charming and attentive. She made us feel like we were in first class, as she should with the elite ambience of this elite restaurant ! The whole staff was at our beck and call and the proteins were coming nonstop until we needed a break! We had a great birthday dinner which we celebrate whenever we can every year , so tonight was that night even though we are November babes, we had a Brazilian experience 🎉

We hosted a luncheon of 27 people at Fogo De Chao- Addison on February 20th. The food quality and options were top notch! We ordered the Amethyst package which includes their famous Market Salad Bar and all the meat options. Some chose to have the fish instead of meat, and the fish were reported utmost delicious too! Enjoyed a family dinner in Addison. 1. Salad bar has diverse choices. My husband complemented the Basil sauce. Meat choice is diverse - sirloin was our fav . Friday before Valentine’s busy but reservations at 7:00 sat promptly party of (4). Table was in cozy corner in close proximity of wonderful and plentiful salad bar with intriguing selection of goodies. Servers came to table frequently offering variety of meats with the exception of the lamb chops. We were only able to try lamb one time despite our efforts in asking (3) different servers to please see about having lamb brought to our table. Our dining experience was over 1:45 & I never saw lamb skewers pass our table again and I was watching like a hawk. No explanation was given. Despite the busyness of the establishment our table was cleared, water fill and servers very attentive.

I went to this restaurant when it was super busy with business events! Even so, it was never too loud for me to hear conversation at my table! They do a great job of separating events from main diners! I was really impressed with the excellent service we received! I want to say a big thanks to Medina, Ace, and Manuel who took care of us so attentively! Excellent service! The salad bar was delicious with a great variety of items! We had the full Charasco! Picanha Burger for just $10, it's amazing and the portion size is very generous. We also got sides of fried banana, fried polenta (or French fries, your choice), and servings of mashed potatoes. Unlimited cheese breads are also served with this meal. If I were you, I wouldn’t forget to order a Grilled Cheese Board for just $6 — it comes in a generous portion and is served with honey so you can enjoy that special contrast. My big shoutout goes to two excellent staff members: Eduardo Monteiro and Rafaela de Barros. They’re amazing!!!!

My husband planned a date night here for Sunday evening. It was such a great experience all the way around! Eduardo and AJ took care of us, along with several other of the staff. I really feel like they all work as a well oiled machine. Customer service was fantastic. The food was phenomenal! We got the full experience, and Créame Brûlée for dessert, they even have a mocktail menu for those of us that aren’t wanting to drink! I had a Cleane Sour, it was delicious. We will definitely be back!

The food was absolutely outstanding — the meats were cooked to perfection, and the salad bar was fresh, diverse, and full of flavor. At first, our impression was a bit clouded when the hostess greeted us without much warmth or a smile, which made us doubt our choice for a special night. But everything changed thanks to our amazing server, Rafaela, who completely turned our evening around. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. When she learned it was my birthday, she made sure we felt truly celebrated and taken care of. Her warmth and professionalism completely restored our faith in the place — and because of her (and, of course, the phenomenal food!), we’ll definitely be coming back. It’s rare to experience such delicious cuisine paired with that level of hospitality (again, thanks to Rafaela). Fogo de Chão truly redeemed itself and gave us a night to remember! ❤️

If youve never been to a Brazilian steak house, this is a great spot to start! They come aroind with different meats and they slice it table side! They are famous for their cheese bread and grilled cheese with honey too! Theyve also got a huge cold bar with charcuterie, salads, peppers, veggies, salads, and hummus! This place is amazing. They have the most incredible salad bar with every rare ingredient that you can imagine. Fresh pineapple, all kinds of salads, hummus, cheeses, and roasted cauliflower just to name a few. The meats are amazing, and plentiful. And for the first time I had dessert, which was a really great Key lime pie. My compatriots had the Tres leches cake, and the chocolate cake which has some special name that I did not catch. I really love this place, but my only complaint is that the meats were not well done enough for me on this visit. Too many of the meats that I was served were rare, and I do not like that. Doesn’t detract from my great rating of the place, because the service was outstanding all around, but I wish that I could have gotten meat that was a little more cooked.

The food and service continue to be outstanding. Our server was very attentive, caring and always present, in spite of the fact that the restaurant was packed, on the Friday night that we went. The Gaúchos (meat servers), were also prompt and frequently asked if there was any other type of meat my son wanted, and the ideal temperature he preferred. The variety of the Market Table (the salad bar), the quality and taste of the items is second to none, superior to even vegetarian places or that specialize in salad bars. My wife and I do not eat meat anymore, and we still love coming to Fogo because of the plentiful, eclectic and tasty choices they offer. We were celebrating our son’s birthday and I chose to come here because he loves meat and loves he Addison location, a place that he has come to since he was a kid. Regrettably, I am giving it 4 starts this time because of the physical aspects of the restaurant, and the long wait to get a table, in spite of having a reservation. We had a reservation for 7:15 PM for 3, and arrived 5 minutes late. In spite of having been told we would have been accommodated right away, it took almost 45 minutes for that to happen. Gone is the picturesque, idyllic I would dare to say, and emblematic fire pit that used to adorn the front of the restaurant, by the waiting area. Probably to create more space for the long waits for a table. The materials used to refurbish the waiting area look construction-grade, and, frankly, cheap. I have been coming to this pioneering Fogo de Chão location in the US since it first opened in 1997, when the Coser brothers and Jorge started the Fogo legacy in the US. The decor looks rundown, pedestrian and forgotten. Other newer locations look far more up-to-date and elegant. Fortunately, the experience is still a good one, since what really counts at a restaurant are the food and the service, which continue to be 5 stars. Probably won’t be coming back to this location, but will continue to patronize the other 2 in the Dallas area that are newer and bigger, and when traveling try out the many other places they have.

My family and I had always wanted to try this restaurant. We dined here on a Saturday to celebrate my birthday. Traffic was a little congested to the entrance of the restaurant. We were able to find a decent parking space. Upon entering the establishment, we were quickly shown to a table. The staff instantly engaged us and asked if we had eaten in their establishment before. We responded that this was our very first time to eat here. They explained that there was an "all you can eat" salad bar and the servers bring the meats to the table. By turning your coaster up or down, it tells the servers if you want more or less food. The service is efficient, specializing with a large variety of meats. They offer shrimp cocktail for an additional charge. The one thing I felt that diminished the quality of the service was the use of canned soda versus soda by the glass. It took away its elegance. The wait staff was excellent and attentive. Overall, it was a pleasure to be treated with the utmost care and a properly prepared meal, which we haven't experienced in quite a long time. Thank you.

I would rate this a 3 star but Dylan (our server) was excellent! The salad bar was very underwhelming. The tomahawk was just ok. The yuka fries and bruschetta were both solid side dishes though. We did sit and visit with our friends for a while since the restaurant was not very busy at all. It began feeling a bit uncomfortable when other servers are staring as if we are in the way. At one point, another server stopped by our table and picked up the ticket while we were still conversing. This was a bit unusual from my experience.

Celebrated our anniversary here and it was amazing! You will def be stuffed with so much meat so take it easy! Thanks to our Server for giving us a free dessert as well! Highly recommended!❤️

Excellent Dining Experience! - We celebrated a couple of friends' birthdays here and they gave special attention to the desserts. The drinks, salad bar, and meat were top notch all around, but our table favorite was surprisingly the Queso Panela, grilled cheese drizzled in honey. I wouldn't waste the space or calories on their bread. We had a large party and the service was attentive; we did not want for anything, except for maybe more of the coveted cheese which they brought thrice.

Overall it was a solid experience. The ambiance was great, the salad bar had plenty of fresh options, and the staff was friendly and professional. My only real issue was with the doneness of the meats. Most of the main cuts like the picanha, ribeye, and sirloin were being served medium well to well done, which made them less juicy than expected. I asked specifically for medium rare cuts, and while they did bring them out, it took about 20 minutes for them to arrive. I appreciated that they honored the request, but the delay made the flow of the experience feel a bit off. On the bright side, I also ordered a lobster tail and it was really good, tender and flavorful. And to top it all off, the cheesecake brûlée for dessert was fantastic. Creamy, rich, with a perfect caramelized top, definitely a highlight of the night.

I had a disappointing experience at the Addison location and don’t plan on returning. The main issue was with how food timing is handled, especially if you prefer your meat well done. I noticed that most of the meats being served were medium or medium rare. I understand that well done is not their standard, but if a guest requests it, the experience should still be enjoyable. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. When I asked for well-done meat, I had to wait 10–15 minutes or longer each time. During that wait, everyone else at the table (and even nearby tables) continued eating without interruption. By the time my well-done meat arrived, others had already finished most or all of their meal. It felt awkward and isolating to be sitting there watching everyone else eat while waiting alone. Considering the price—around $60–$70 per person depending on the day—I expected a more balanced and inclusive dining experience. No one should feel left out just because of how they prefer their food cooked. The same issue happened with dessert. Most people ordered crème brûlée, which came out almost immediately. I ordered the chocolate molten cake, and it took a very long time to arrive. By then, others were already halfway done or finished with their dessert, and I was just starting mine. Again, the timing was poorly managed. Overall, the lack of coordination and consideration really took away from the experience. For the price point, I expected much better service and timing. Because of this, I won’t be coming back to this location.

I recently visited Fogo de Chão in Addison, Texas, and I have to say, the experience was incredibly disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the service was subpar—waitstaff seemed disinterested, and it took far too long for us to even get our checks (around 30 minutes). The cuts of meat were far below the quality I’ve come to expect from Fogo. Several of the options were dry and not particularly flavorful. The salad bar was also a letdown. It was slim, with far fewer selections than I remember in the past. For a place that charges $65 per person, I expected much more variety and quality across the board. It’s frustrating when you feel like you could spend a quarter of that at places like Texas Roadhouse and have a better experience all around. The server even charged me for two drinks whenever I finished someone else in my groups. Like did you not think charging $5 dollars for soda/tea was not enough already? What really stood out, though, was how empty the restaurant was on a weekend night. It was unusual for a Fogo to be so quiet, and I can’t help but think that the mediocre service, lackluster food, and overall poor value must be why. Lastly, when I politely asked about a military discount, the server responded in a rather snarky way, which just added to the overall disappointing experience. It’s a simple yes or no question, and I just wanted to save a few bucks where I could. I haven’t been to Fogo in over two years, and after this visit, I’m certain I won’t be back anytime soon. It’s just not worth the money anymore. Very disappointed.

Terrible experience, I had a reservation at Fogo de Chão Addison for 9:15 PM, but despite arriving on time, I was not seated until 10:30 PM—an unacceptable wait of over an hour. The service throughout the evening was terrible, with staff seeming disorganized and inattentive. For a restaurant of this caliber, I expected a much smoother experience. Unfortunately, the long wait and poor service completely overshadowed the meal. I do not recommend dining here unless they significantly improve their reservation management and customer service.

I had a very bad experience at this place.While I was inside eating, someone hit my car 😭 on the parking lot and left. When I came out and saw the damage, I asked to speak with the manager, but no one was willing to help. They claimed their security cameras don’t even cover their own parking lot, is unacceptable. No assistance, no responsibility, and very poor security. I definitely wouldn’t feel safe parking here again.

Me and my husband came for late lunch and the restaurant is not even busy .we did not even know who our sever was. We tipped but we don’t even know who is it for . If we needed anything as simple as a refill we needed to catch theirs staffs attention. Jerry one of the meat runners was the only one to help us out very nice gentleman!
