Loro is our go to place when we want to escape the mundane and try something exotic. We’ve been there on numerous occasions for dinner but this was our first for lunch. The staff are always welcoming and aim to please. We picked out a seaweed salad, The Loro Burger and Malaysian Chicken Curry bowl. The seaweed salad was nice and crunchy. The burger was splendid. The potatoes as a side dish were delightful. Finally the Malaysian curry while a tad high on sodium was still packing a punch on the taste buds. All in all a quick and yummy lunch…

Absolutely loved the the smoked brisket at Loro! The silce were juicy , tender and parked with that perfect Smokey flavor. Paired with some sides and it was a total game changer. Highly recommend! Thank You 👍

We went for late night foods. Yummy burger! Everything was great. Good drinks too.

Went to this place for the first time during happy hour. It almost seemed unreal that good this good were this cheap! The drinks and food were great. With the drinks, you can mix any of the two so I recommend the mango sake mixed with the frozen gin. Perfection! Also I like the convenience of just seating yourself, ordering from your phone, and closing out your tab when you’re ready to go. The service was also great. Everyone is friendly!

Went for the limited time Ramen Special. Ramen was amazing. Curry flavored ramen with a choice of prawn or brisket. Definitely a must try! Service was great staff is friendly, good vibes all around. Can get busy after work hours but still worth it!

This is my regular spot when I’m in this part of town. Amazing brisket and pulled pork! The veggies complement the meats very well and have an authentic flavor that I have not found at any other barbecue place. The service is super fast and the decor is warm and inviting.

Flavor was outstanding. Only problem was the salmon I got was very very small for the $9 it cost... Honestly would have been a 4 or 3 but everything was just flavored incredibly.

Best restaurant I have been to in a while. Food was delicious and extremely creative. Japanese flair with Texas smoke house flavors. Great drinks and Matt was the best. Thanks great experience

The food was delicious! Try the brisket queso. The staff were very attentive. The patio is cute at night with the string lights.

Hands down one of the best Asian fusion restaurants I’ve been to. The bartenders and their service is phenomenal. Going back very soon. Another win for hai hospitality and one for the austinites in dtx!! Thanks for bringing Loro closer to me

Our first time going for happy hour and I’m Already planning to return with my family ! You order food at the bar and they give you a pager and you wait for your food to cook. The drinks are refreshing and just the right amount of alcohol so you would want to try different drinks without getting hammered . The food and menu items are really flavorful and does not disappoint. The Loro burger was tender and not dry but Well balanced, however , it did not come with fries for $13 bucks . It’s $9 during happy hours so go then for a deal! Malaysian curry rice bowl with coconut lemongrass infused rice was very memorable ! They do get pretty swamped so be patient and tip your bartenders ! I was too full but I was eyeing the key lime pie for the next meal trip ! Thanks for a great dining experience and to Kate our bartender for keeping our drinks filled !

Great food, the order system is different but efficient. Amazing flavors, the char su was awesome, sweet potatoes were excellent, drinks were awesome, second time in, great experience again!

We had the sake can chicken, lettuce wrap style, the crunchy cabbage salad, broccolini and the sesame noodles (thanks Josh!) to eat. Honestly I could have stayed all day and eaten the whole menu. Service was awesome, and the food was out of this world. I’ve never been to a place that mixes the smoked meat world of text with Asian flair, so I was a bit nervous but they do it excellently. If you’re anywhere near this place, you have to give it a try. The ginger old fashioned was balanced and the viet frozen coffee was boozy, sweet and full of coffee flavor, like you’d get from any strong Vietnamese coffee. Loved it all!

Great food, great environment, fast and friendly staff, great service and reasonably priced. Went for dinner on Saturday evening. Had the chicken karaage, oak grilled pork loin and the Texas sweet corn. All very tasty.

Loro Asian Smokehouse serves an exceptional Brisket Sandwich! The brisket was incredibly tender and flavorful, with a perfect balance of smokiness and spices. The atmosphere was inviting, and the service was top-notch. If you’re a fan of brisket, you have to try the Brisket Sandwich at Loro Asian Smokehouse. Highly recommended!

Loro is delicious. Everything they have is delicious. My favorites include the frozen Mojito, the smoked bavette steak, and the Char siu. Pro tip join for Happy Hour for discounted food and drinks. Also gets the corn fritters.

The food was great and the place was nice (large area). You order at the bar and food is delivered, but that was the extent of any "service" we experienced. Not a bad thing, just something to know when you go.

Mr Aaron and Tyson. Hats off to you'll...what an amazing experience at Loro Addison. All the food we tried was amazing. The perfect marriage of asian flavors and bbq. This is fusion done RIGHT!! The service was exceptional, especially the bartender's (we sat at the bar). The ambiance had an Austin vibe to it. Loved it. The drinks were on point. This place is definitely going to be on my go to spots.

This place was on my list and it was better than I thought it was going to be. I went at night and it's very dim inside and the patio area was bigger than the restaurant but really cool atmosphere. This place was different, no waiters or anything like that but you can get your silverware, napkins and water at different stations all around the place, and you walk up to the ordering booth and order and you have to tell them your seat number and then will give you a pager to notify when you you're food is done. Food came very quick and was amazing 😍 I love the fusion of foods, very different and I've never seen anything like that before but everything was very good. This place is for a quick bite and if you are thirsty then you have a great selection of drinks and I can see myself coming back with a bunch of people before I go out for the night or getting a quick bite before a movie, it's that fast. Try it out!

Came here for my girlfriends birthday dinner before drinks in the city. Staff was friendly, drinks were amazing, and the food was the cherry on top. We only wish we had a location closer to us, but best believe the next time we are in Dallas we will be back.

Loro (both Dallas locations) are amazing. Hands down favorite restaurant!! This time around we got the shrimp rice bowl, cabbage salad, oak grilled zucchini, and the smoked turkey. My only piece of feedback is that I thought the turkey was too salty but everything is always fabulous

I've gotten takeout from here (which is easy to do online and they bring it out to your car) and I've enjoyed lunch in person. Inside you scan the QR code and order at the bar. They then they bring it out to you. My companion and I enjoyed everything we ate (although we could not taste any coconut in our coconut rice). My personal favorites were the Sesame Rice Noodles (which even as a spice baby I could eat), the Crispy Potatoes, and the Smoked Prime Bravette. The beef had a nice smoked flavor and was very tender and juicy. Went very well with the rice noodles - recommend that combo. The corn Fritters were a nice appetizer as well - light and not greasy at all.

This was my first time at Loro and it did not disappoint! Friendly servers, great ambiance and the food was amazing. These corn fritters are so good. We had the shishitos, smoked wings, brisket bowl and melon salad. I will definitely be back!

I love this place. We sat at the bar for a late lunch thinking we would just get a snack. Everything looked too good and they were collaborating with Hattie B's so we had to try. Ordered the hot chicken rice bowl, Bbq brisket plate, coconut scented rice and crispy potatoes. They also have us complimentary corn fritters. Everything was amazing and had lots of flavor that just worked so well together. It's rare when everything you order is great but that's what happened today. Highly recommend. Bartender wasn't very helpful but everything else was top notch.

It's been a while, but I MUST tell y'all about my experience at loroeats! First of all, literally all the food was bussin. Like I thought I'd get tripped up by cold noodles but I didn't. the brisket, the corn fritters, the potatoes, literally EVERYTHING was chefs kiss. The food came out SO FAST. I think my favorite part was having the staff give us the meal with the ingredients which definitely helped with the experience! Perfect lighting. Perfect amount of seating.

ok - NOW I see the hype behind Loro. The smoked beef brisket was PHENOMENAL! Great presentation, tender, and flavorful. The crispy potatoes were much better than the first time I ordered them. They stayed extremely crispy despite being in my fridge overnight. The Yuzu aioli was to die for. The green curry hushpuppies were also delicious. Crunchy on the outside, but soft and flavorful on the inside. The Yuzu 1000 island was absolutely incredible .. I'd eat that on anything! I'm fully aboard the Loro hype train now, and I truly admire the culinary creatively they bring to the table.

I came to visit with my family to celebrate Father's Day! I ordered the smoked salmon dip to start and I was greatly surprised at the mild flavor of it! I ordered the cabbage salad and prime bivette for my entrees. I really enjoyed the flavor and the crunchiness of the cabbage salad and I even enjoyed the mint leaves! The prime bivette was delicious I loved the peppers that came along with it and the cilantro also. A good time was had by all and I will definitely visit this place again!

What can I say, I love this place! The ramen is top tier and the service (chefs kiss). Miguel is always helpful and kind, gives the best recommendations and always smiling he takes the experience to the next level. This is my official go to spot that I visit twice a week.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by the people at the bar where they explained the menu for me and the ordering process. You can order through a QR code which assigns the table you are at or just go to the bar and order from there! The food was brought out quick and at a good temperature. I highly recommend this to anyone who is trying to have an Asian Fusion taste!

Went for an office. The restaurant was greasy and the service was attentive. You can tell that people there are proud to work at such a great restaurant. Some notable points form some of my coworkers. The vegetarian food was good and felt like part of the menus even if they had specific dietary restrictions. The Brisket was even better than the most popular bbq restaurant on the other side of the tollway. Also to a picky eater from out of the country had this place as one of his favorite places that he had tried here. The burger was delicious and with the brisket on top made it over the top. Great outdoor seating and comfortable to have a decent size group. We had 9 people in our group and we could all sit together.

C

I love Loro! I wish they still had their hushpuppies. The food Is delicious no matter if you go for the Asian flavored foods, or the BBQ. I adore their outdoor seating on a nice day. Staff is friendly.

One of my new favorite restaurants in Dallas. You order at the bar and they bring the food to you. The mandarin margaritas were great. The sesame noodles, char Siu, and curry brisket rice we all had were tasty. The must get is the brisket, which is served only after 4pm.

R
Reuven Derner

It was really a different experience, classic low and slow bbq meets Asian fusion. Service was fast, timely, and Food came out at a great pace. Happy hour drinks were robust with plenty of options to satiate the palette. The Gin and Tonic slush and the Sake Mango were light and refreshing while giving that nice little boozy kick. The food was awesome. Smoked salmon dip wkth wanton chips were lightly fried but not heavy, the dip itself was packed with flavor. The brisket toasted was meat with a little bit of heat but in a wet the appetite type of way. The hot chicken sandwich is what did me in l, you want somw heat then this is the one to get. Mouth was a little on fire for me but still had a nice balance with the cabbage slaw. Going on Monday night was the real treat getting to order the beef ribs thst literally fall off the bone and great flavor profile with the pineapple bbq sauce. 10/10

The food is amazing here! We came during happy hour we had frozen spicy watermelon margaritas which were on point so was the bourbon hot chocolate... now the brisket was amazing you have to wait until 4pm but its well worth the wait and I mean it... last but definitely not least our bartender Ethan was the man! Showed hospitality at its finest we will be back for the food and great service 👍 definitely recommend.

Loro is a fantastic spot for comfort food! We visited on a Monday afternoon around 3 PM, and it was very quiet, but I can see how it would be a popular weekend destination. The food was excellent—my favorite was the tofu rice ball, which I highly recommend. The flavors were rich, and everything was well-prepared. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

Every single dish we ordered at Loro was delectable, especially the Smoked Baby Back Duroc Pork Ribs. And despite the crowd, the food came out relatively quickly. Their compelling drink menu also has a variety of unique cocktails and slushees. Their Happy Hour is on weekdays from 2-6 PM, and it includes both food and drink options.

We came here for the soft opening. The food was amazing! The friendly staff made my group of 5 feel welcome and appreciated. I don't usually like batch cocktails but the ginger old-fashioned was delicious. I will definitely be back. Every dish was great except I would skip the kettle corn because the brisket was like flavorless jerky.

Okay, this place is a 10/10 and highly recommended! I initially came in for their curry ramen bowl, but I didn’t realize it’s only available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The waiter was so sweet and suggested I try something else from the menu. I told him I was okay and walked out, but then I decided to give it a try because the atmosphere was such a vibe, and everyone was really polite. I ordered the Thai pork ribs, spicy potatoes, and broccoli. The owner came to my table and said he had a special treat for me because he overheard me when I first came in. Oh my gosh, that was so sweet! While I was waiting for my food, my waitress, Row, came out with free corn balls. Overall, I will definitely come back! The customer service is top tier, and I love it!🥰

Received a flyer for this place at a bridal show and the same day decided to make a visit. HUGE indoor space. Bar seating, high top and booths. Using your phone and QR code, you have the option to open a tab to order food and drinks or request a server. Ordering additional items and closing your tab from your phone as opposed to waiting for a server was very handy. Drink and food service was QUICK. Outside space included covered and uncovered patio, under tree seating with wicker bucket swings and corn hole games for added fun. I came midday but I can only imagine the vibe during happy hour and after dinner. Friendly staff.

I loved this place. I met with a friend here, and the place was perfect for conversation around a great beer on tap and some delicious food. There were a couple of great protein options, which made me really happy because it was delicious.

I’m sitting here slowly rotating in my wicker egg chair to some seriously inspiring music, the wind languorously tousling my hair, sipping on a frozen espresso martini wishing (not desperately, but something akin to that) for the good old days of the frozen Vietnamese coffee. The sliders we ordered were pure perfection, Smokey, juicy, dripping down my chin. But I’m sorely missing a frozen bourbon option. My night cannot be complete without it. Dear Loro. Hear my prayer. For the love of country and god And my sad little taste buds, please bring back the Vietnamese coffee. Or at least freeze me something with bourbon. My happy hour heart misses our perfect frosty connection.

I had been looking forward to coming here since opening. I was not disappointed. The food was tasty, we had a brisket meat plate two rice bowls, (Malaysian curry and brisket) and a hamburger, plus two apps of curry hushpuppies and roasted potatoes. The food was fantastic and the serving staff was fantastic. Highly recommend the Curry hush puppies were great. The decor and atmosphere of the place if phenomenal. I loved it. There was not a lot of people as it was noon on Fathers day, but nonetheless was really welcoming look and feel to the place. Here is my one complaint, the person taking my order. Lacking personality enthusiasm and customer service. First of all there was no line. but the group in front of us we both did the dance of who was first not knowing where to go or what to do since there was no line. We both mentioned it was our first times there. When we got there the person just stood there expressionless. What we were at a loss for was how to order. Had i known what the plates were going to look like and maybe we could have done sharing… I would have chosen different items. Over all would have been a better experience had we started off on the right foot with the first impression from staff. The servers made up for it though as after one of them brought our food we started asking questions and she was so open and helpful. There was a guy server there as well who was phenomanal. They along with the food made up for the initial person. We will be back. I rated it a 9/10, my wife and kids stated an 8. Overall a 5 for me since i round up.

Our group needed to ask some questions about the food and drinks and the staff was very helpful and informative. The old fashioned and watermelon margarita were perfectly made and not too sweet. Stellar from start to finish! We went for their amazing happy hour. The bartender who took our order was super friendly and gave great recommendations. It’s a cute spot with tons of indoor and outdoor seating, sort of a counter-service, serve yourself spot, but our food was delivered to our table and staff asked if we wanted to order more drinks. Both frozen drinks (mango sake and espresso martini) were incredible for $5. Wings and sliders were delicious. We also did a $5 smashburger and it was great for the price. Loooved the wonton chips that came with the salmon dip. Great vibes, great happy hour, great service.

Yummmmm. The fried chicken is fantastic!! And the coconut rice was so good I couldn't stop eating it!! This is such a cute place; they have plenty of outdoor seating. The staff is nice and the food is so good. I had the Bangkok Spicy Fried Chicken bowl. The crispy potatoes have a nice flavor. The burger was good as was the pulled pork. We will definitely be back to try other items; the menu has a lot of interesting options.

Fantastic place for lunch or dinner. Came here with a couple of friends and we tried a little bit of everything. The flavor was phenomenal. We shared the crispy Thai pork ribs, brisket sandwich, char siew pork belly, smoked wings (Thai), chicken karaage, broccoli, and sesame rice noodles. So much food, but everything was great. The house made ginger old fashioned was tasty as well. Can't wait to come back!

The brisket queso was amazing. The brisket taste and texture were on point. The salmon dip was incredible too. Suggestion about the queso, I would get it with wontons next time if possible like the salmon dip. The chips that come with the queso are a little hard.

Came again for happy hour and it was great! They have gotten some new menu items. One of them being the chips and dip that kind of is like an Asian salsa verde and the oak smoked edamame was amazing. This is a great spot for happy hour! They have food and drinks available. We sat at the bar and Tracy was phenomenal! He gave us his recommendations and great service. We got: - salmon dip with wonton chips (HH) - wings (HH) - sesame rice noodles (not on HH) - spiked Arnold Palmer (HH) - chicken sandwich (HH) the top thing we ordered! - cucumber cocktail (not on HH) but my favorite

This is a very nice place with a great atmosphere for hanging out. The drinks were awesome; we especially loved the Old Fashioned and the Moscow Mule. All of the appetizers were good, but the corn fritters, wonton chips and salsa, and edamame were the true standout dishes—we'd highly recommend them! Our least favorite was the broccoli; we would have preferred it if it had been cooked instead of served raw. The main course was okay, and the dessert could have been a little better. Overall, it's a fantastic spot for drinks and appetizers!

I love the vibe of Loro! There's plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor and for a Saturday night, there was essentially zero wait time. We got corn fritters and karaage which were both good. we also got the new smokehouse sampler which comes with pulled pork, brisket (which was so tender), wings, the cabbage salad that was so refreshing, and my favorite THE POTATOES! If you get anything, I would suggest that you get the potatoes! We got the flight to test out the three drinks and I will say, the spicy watermelon marg was the strongest. We also really enjoyed just chilling outside after our meal. Vibes are just superior here.

Loro definitely hits all the right notes, and we felt like it was priced reasonably given the quality. No wait to order, and food came out without too much wait. We only checked it out for a quick snack, but will definitely visit again if in the area.

I can’t stop telling enough people about Loro. It’s absolutely my favorite happy hour. They currently have a spicy margarita that is the definition of perfect. Our must haves: edamame, smoked wings, frozen cocktails.

Chef Matt Livers

I’ve been to Loro twice in the last week — it was the last meal I had before leaving town and the first meal I had when I came back. That alone should tell you how much I enjoy this place. The food is just killer. The smoked brisket is a standout — deeply flavorful, perfectly smoked, and melts in your mouth. I love the way they incorporate fresh herbs and Asian influences into classic Texas BBQ. It’s bold, balanced, and just plain delicious. The crispy potatoes with a tangy aioli were a surprise favorite — crunchy, savory, and addictive. My buddy had the smash burger, and for two guys who literally make smash burgers for a living, he said it was one of the best he’s had in a long time. I also brought another Kansas City native to try the BBQ, and he was thoroughly impressed. And then there’s the frozen gin & tonic — seriously, one of the best frozen cocktails I’ve had. Super refreshing and full of character. Their drink menu overall is creative and worth exploring. Now, about the atmosphere: From the outside, Loro looks like a sleek, upscale spot — modern and almost high-end. But once you walk in, it’s got more of a laid-back, beer hall vibe. High ceilings, communal seating, a few TVs on the wall — nothing over the top. It’s casual, a little noisy, and clearly designed to seat as many people as possible. It’s not trying to be glamorous on the inside, but it doesn’t need to be — the energy is relaxed, and it works. The hiccup.. The service model.. 1st visit, we sat at the bar and were taken care of entirely by the bartender — smooth and simple. Second visit, we sat at a table, but had to order at the counter and close out there, even though servers were bringing food. It just felt a little clunky for a place that feels so polished in every other way. A more consistent, intuitive service style would really elevate the experience. Still, the food is more than worth it. Loro is packed with flavor, creativity, and good energy. Once they tighten up the service approach, it’ll be one of the best casual dining spots in the area. On July 7, I returned to the restaurant with even a larger group this time. I grabbed the table around of frozen gin tonics after bragging about how great they are, and then we all patiently waited in line to place our orders.. thankfully, the restaurant was not too busy so in hindsight, I guess it’s really not that inconvenient but at the same time, for that type of elevated food and the overall demeanor of the restaurant you just expect some type of table side service. Well don’t.

The food was phenomenal and the service even more so. Our waitress Roe took care of us from the moment we sat down and continued to provide 10 out of 10 service. Food was exceptional! Highly recommend coming on Sundays to try the smoked ribs. All the meat is falling off the bone, spiced and cooked to perfection. This place continues to lead with innovation in the Dallas food scene! Thank you to this team for providing such a nice Sunday dinner for my family

Loro was a different experience and may not be for some. When you arrive there are order markers at the bar which is cool just as long as you're not sitting at the bar. You walk up, place your order and find somewhere to sit. If it's busy...good luck. The runners then bring you're food to you as it's ready. The downside is you could get your dinner side 10 minutes before your app and 5 minutes from your dinner. So it's all very random. Drinks are self serve. The food is Asian fusion. My table had the corn fritters which were crunchy and sweet, definitely try those. The brisket sandwich with papaya salad is a must! The crispy potatoes split us. Some liked them, some said the potatoes tasted burnt. The brisket plate and cod sandwich was a hit as well.

Really delicious food with very strong fusion flavors. Pickles are very sour and tangy, and the smoked meat had a rich deep smokey flavor. This Loro location in Addison just opened in December 2022, and has a young, energetic atmosphere. The menu is a bit on the pricier end. You will place order with the staff up at various stations along the bar, which are marked by orange arrows. There is plenty of seating indoors and outdoors along the patio. I personally found that booth seating was a bit tight (the spacing between the back of the booth chair to my stomach to the edge of the table was tight). Happy hour runs from M-F from 2-6 pm and offers more affordable bites and drinks. Great place to meet up with friends or coworkers.

I just want to see new openings and compare with one in Austin. Food is good for drinking. Atmosphere is still brand new building. Unfortunately I ordered 3 draft beer and one bottle. Temperature of drink is not cold. I know today is very hot outside. We are Texan. We drink ice water even winter. Definitely I will go again.

First time trying this place. It was good, brisket was flavorful, broccolini, and crispy potatoes were good. Also had the shishito queso need a little more spiciness. Pretty pricey for a casual dining spot.

The atmosphere is incredible! Inside is a woody, dark, Asian vibe. Lots of outdoor space with seating. Really nice on a nice summer/fall evening. Wasn’t a huge fan of the ribs. They are coated with a thin batter then lightly fried. The potatoes were amazing. The wonton salsa appetizer was great. I couldn’t put a finger on what the soy flavor reminded me of but now I realize it was a Cris and John’s fusion flavor. I would try about but try other dishes

Great new spot with a huge patio and an enticing variety of drinks to choose from. The food was pretty decent, and most dishes were flavorful. Justifying the prices is a little hard given the small portions and also that you have to order from the counter -- if portions were better, or there was table service, I could understand the price point better

No designated front door, which is odd. Self seating tables, more a bar order setup. QR codes to scan at tables, but can't order there. You have to go to the order stations designated at the bar. Great happy hour options w/ drinks, apps & food. I don't get the TX BBQ mix w/ Asian fusion. More TX BBQ w/ TXMex and few Asian rice bowls & 1 noodle dish. Good food but pricey as $15 up for most dishes and all A' la Carte. Food does come out fast.

Was in Dallas for the weekend and have wanted to eat at this place. Pretty cool vibe and lots of seating. Quick service and food comes out super fast. We had the crispy corn fritters, chicken karaage, butchers cut and crispy potatoes. Corn fritters and chicken were really good. The butchers cut and potatoes were nothing special. The habanero aioli was missing one ingredient — habanero. It had no spice to it.

Overall vibe is chill and perfect to meet a group. The brisket looked pretty but had an off putting and not appetizing flavor however the chips/dips were a 5star and same with noodles. I could eat the green dip everyday!

I went during their soft opening. The restaurant itself is a great space…cozy and modern. Lots and lots of patio seating. Service was good, very attentive. Food was okay, some items hit or miss. Drinks were great!!

Loro has been one of my fav restaurants in Dallas. The Smokey char they get on the meats and vegetables is unreal. I love all of their salads and veg offerings. (April 2024) enjoyed our dinner! Weather was perfect for the patio. The food was great! Had the melon/tomato salad which is one of my favs, but not as much this time, maybe just because it’s too early for tomato season. The coconut rice, brisket and zucchini were all fantastic! Enjoyed the slushees … the sangria and a combo slushee of the gin and tonic with the mango sake. Had ordered the salmon but it never came out (but was full anyways), so they packed it to go for us along with an additional to go order we made. The to go packaging is awesome! They label everything, so nice! The leftovers have been so good! Including the key lime pie (just wish it was bigger 😛) enjoyed the 1/2 chicken and salmon in our to go order. The zucchini dish heated back up nicely! Overall great experience, and continues to be one of my favs … just sometimes , some dishes are a little inconsistent at this location but overall really solid Was excited when they announced a second location and on our first visit, they exceeded expectations and were just as delicious and consistent as the other location. But on the second visit (4/10/23) the food was disappointing. I have raved for years about how good the brisket is at Loro without having to wait in bbq lines, but it was dry and tough today, needed to grab knives to cut it. Flavor was still good but just not the same quality that I’ve experienced at the other locations. The pork ribs (a Monday special) were also a little tough and dry but good flavor. I also noticed that the brisket was served differently at this location, sliced much thinner. Hopefully it was just an off day but I’ve never had anything but fantastic brisket at the east Dallas and Austin locations. Back to the first visit (Feb 2023) - Got the zucchini this time. Also tried their limited time ramen. It’s more of a curry sauce , not a more clear broth ramen but regardless, it was really really good. Got it with the brisket (also comes with shrimp), only available Tuesday and Wednesday. Would def get the ramen again. The burger was also phenomenal. They have great happy hour items too. I actually think the layout for the outdoor space at this location is better than the other Dallas location. They did a really great job here inside and out. Crushed it.

Food=5 ⭐️ Portions/Prices= 3 ⭐️. The Smoked Butcher’s Cut was cooked to perfection and had so much flavor! 🤤The Sesame Rice Noodles were a little underdressed but tasty. I would go here all the time, but unfortunately I can’t justify $40 for a small meal.

So this place was really good, I grew up on BBQ so I typically don’t eat it out but this Asian fusion was very nice twist. We ordered the brisket and it was a small portion for the price and it was cold to the touch! my bf is very non confrontational so he just ate it. Tbh it was nothing crazy, tender and a strong Smokey flavor. The chicken karaage was delicious, the combination of ginger, basil and cilantro with it was just *chefs kiss* we tried the sweet corn fritters and sent them back but they are very popular just neither one of us enjoyed them. We also grabbed the rice noodles and oh my gosh they were go amazing. It’s a cold noodles and topped with fresh cilantro and just the right amount of heat and so good. The last side we shared was the Caesar salad, it was not good. I’m a salad lover and Caesar is my favorite, the lettuce was old, wilted and not that nice crisp fresh bite. But eh the stuff that was good was really good, I’d go again for sure.

Ate out on the patio. Ordered the pear and kale salad, requested additional dressing...also ordered Chicken Karaage. Both were delicious, service was quick. Service team explained each item when they brought them out. 10 minute wait. Music, ambiance and restaurant layout very nice. Will definitely return. Had to go back. Ordered the Malaysian Curry Chicken Rice Bowl....delicious, delicious, delicious! Wonderful balance of flavors with just enough crunch components and thai accompaniments.$5 Rice Bowls all day every Monday ( Beef, Pork, Tofu, Shrimp, Smoked Salmon)

Loro has a good atmosphere and very different dishes. The Thai Chips & Dip was fantastic, as were the Hush puppies. They had wonderful flavor and were cooked well and had a lovely coconut ranch dip. Where I was underwhelmed was the brisket. A place noting itself to be a smokehouse and stating smoky flavors in it's dishes should have that flavor be there and not an after thought. The brisket lacked flavor. It also arrived cold which did not help the experience. Management was very prompt to correct this and bring out a second dish at the correct temperature. I will plan to eat here again to try a different main course and sides, but I won't be ordering the brisket again.

This place is yummy. This place is so cute! I met a friend for lunch today, he had been to Loro recently and loved it and suggested we give it a try. This shopping center was in much need of a new food venue. The aesthetic of the restaurant is clean and modern. They serve a wide variety of food, lots of healthy options which I appreciate. To start, I tried the pickle and veggie. There were a variety of things, pickles, cauliflower, pickled onions and kimchi. Tasty. For lunch I had the crunchy cabbage salad with salmon. It was served with a sweet and tangy lemon zest dressing, ample purple cabbage, the salmon was cooked to perfection. My friend had the salmon rice bowl, he loved it! There is a variety of seating inside and lots of outdoor seating as well. I like the patio furniture, complete with egg chairs. The entrance to the restaurant has a variety of hanging bamboo pendants. Beautiful. The only thing I wasn't in love with was that you had to order food and drinks at the bar instead of having a server come to you. It wasn't as big of a deal during the lunch crowd but I would imagine that during a busy dinner crowd that would be a bother and not something I would want to mess with. Aesthetically pleasing, beautiful patio, come check them out!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Good food, nice vibe, good service. Love the outdoor patio. It's also dog friendly. We got Thai chips and dips - it was okay, crunchy potato - that was good, salmon and the chicken sandwich - they were good. The chicken sandwich was giant. Overall 9/10.

Ordered the salmon dip, cheeseburger, karaage & curry ramen from the happy hour menu. Dined al fresco, so the curry ramen hit the spot on a cold evening. Broth was a bit rich tasting but the brisket was perfect, what you would expect from Franklin. It is also seasonal so we were glad we got a chance to try it. The "chips" for the salmon dip reminded me of rangoon wrapping & was too delicate to be used for dipping. Cheeseburger was decent but karaage was ok. It does get full & quite loud inside but plenty of seating outdoors along with adirondack rocking chairs in the front area that will make it a nice place to hang out in good weather.

The idea of Asian flavors mixed with Texas bbq seemed like a good idea so I wanted to give it a try. The salmon dip was good but not smoky enough but salsa on it was good. Pulled pork tostadas were the winner. Great flavor there. Coconut rice was nice and clean. Wings had a good smoke and flavor. The brisket was tender and flavor was good but was expecting it to blow Mr away but didn't. All in all solid spot to get some above average grub and drinks in a laid back scene.

Overall we really enjoyed Loro. We started with two batch cocktails - the kyuri mule and the chai apple sour. We don’t usually care for batch cocktails but we were pleasantly surprised by the mule. The apple chai sour was good but nothing special. We also got a matcha mule slushee that we enjoyed. As far as food goes - we LOVED the pork belly rice bowl. By far the best and freshest tasting thing we got. The chicken karaage also had great flavor. We got the snap peas and enjoyed them too, as well as the salmon dip that we weren’t impressed with. We didn’t love the super blended texture of the dip itself and thought the wonton chips were a bit oily and brittle from the large air bubbles throughout them. We felt the prices in general were a bit high for what you get, but we think it’s worth coming back for the rice bowl deals during the week!

Got the smokehouse sampler which was pretty decent. The oak smoked brisket was very tender and flavorful. The BBQ sauce that came with it was just okay. I preferred the brisket by itself. The pulled pork was slightly dry but well seasoned. I ended up mixing it into the crunchy cabbage salad and the acidity in the salad was a nice balance to the pork and brisket. The chicken wings were not as well seasoned as I would’ve liked. I don’t know if they were smoked but I didn’t taste much smoke on them. The crispy potatoes were delicious with the dipping sauce. Most of them were crispy but a little more crispiness would’ve made them even better. Overall, I may go back to try some of their other offerings.

The food was disappointing. We had the 1/2 chicken, the brisket, and the grilled zucchini. The brisket was cold. Because this place has eclectic flavors, we were not sure if that was on purpose. If it was, it did not turn out well. The zucchini itself was good but the cashew sambal under the zucchini was awful and ruined it. I recommend to order the zucchini with the sambal on the side. The 1/2 chicken tasted fine, pretty average, but was not worth the price. I do like the atmosphere of the place. The prices discourage frequent visits but the atmosphere feels like that they want to encourage regulars. There's a nice outdoor seating area and I saw people in active conversation with the bartender.

The food at Loro is excellent. This was my second time here, and I even recommended it to my friends and brought them with me. Unfortunately, the cashier was extremely rude and completely ruined the experience. I actually felt bad for recommending the place. I always leave a tip, but this time I couldn’t. Great food, disappointing service.

The food was just okay. The curry chicken barely had any sauce . The dish had more garnish than food..

Super loud (concrete), uninspired decor, clear evidence fusion and barbecue should never be mentioned in the same sentence. Overpriced bar food with garnish. Definitely belongs in LA East (Austin).

Good service, mediocre food. We started at Loro at 5p on a Friday night. There were a lot of families with babies and kids, and the music was setting a nice vibe. Every employee I interacted with was great! However, I came for the food, and the food just wasn't that good. We ordered a few happy hour shareables and some entrees. I didn't have anything to drink, but if I had, maybe I would have thought the food was better. I go into depth about every dish we tried later in my review, but we only enjoyed about half of the items ordered. If you plan on drinking heavily and want food to soak up the alcohol, then this place is a great spot to do that. If you are coming here strictly for the food, I'd recommend checking out another restaurant! However, if you are hell bent on coming to this Loro, I list out the 4 items that were alright/good. Shareables Wonton Chips and Dip - Chips are greasy and the salsa just isn't good. It felt like they were going for spicy, but instead the salsa was extremely sweet and overly salty. Smoked Salmon Dip - This dip was better, but was greasy. If this was served with a bread, it might have been balanced better. However, this dip was served with the Wonton Chips, which are also greasy. These two combined together made it (you guessed it) too greasy. Grilled Edamame - This was decent. It was the only of the apps that we finished. Not overly salty, well balanced. Entrees Char Siew Pork Belly - This was the best item we ordered. Flavorful and cooked to perfection. Oak Smoked Beef Brisket - Good texture, but slightly bland and not super flavorful. Sides Coconut Scented Rice - No complaints here! Rice was tasty and paired well with the other dishes. Charred Broccoli - Only issue with this was the portion for the price. I felt like the amount of broccoli provided was not worth the $8 paid for it. The flavor was good however. Sesame Rice Noodles - These were tasty and were my favorite side. If I were to re-order, I would have ordered: Grilled Edamame Char Siew Pork Belly Coconut Scented Rice Sesame Rice Noodles IF our table had only ordered these items, I likely would have give Loro a 4 in the food category. I don't plan on returning, but if I by some misfortune find myself here again, I'll probably stick to alcohol.

I don’t like your customer service model. You got there, sit down in your table and then standup to go to the bar to order and then the waiter(ess) brings you the food. And all the food does not get delivered at the same time for all the party, I was almost finished with my sandwich when my friend got his food. A lot of improvement at least for lunch time. Ah and we wanted to try the ramen but it was not available after 4 pm. You should close at lunchtime and open at dinner time when all you le menu is available. I do not recommend this place for lunch.

Pretty restaurant serving an interesting menu and selection. When I went it had quite a large crowd outside. Ambiance i will definitely give a 10/10. Its a beautiful restaurant. The menu has an interesting selection of meat and vegetarian options. I went for the tofu stir fry to try a vegetarian option. The presentation is nice, though personally I don't like these types of bowls, but overall a tad sweet (which i am not so keen on). I also ordered the lychee martini which was not bad but not on the wow factor either. Service: I had to flag someone down to see how this restaurants works lol. Its open seat concept and you order from the bar. Barely any interactions. Overall I still would say to try this place at least once. The atmosphere nice and also pretty family friendly

Unique spot for sure. It is a counter order/serve place. The menu and flavors are unique with a mix of smokey and Asian inspired. We ordered queso, wings, a brisket sandwich, salmon bowl, and a seaweed side salad. The queso was good and we liked the wings (I especially liked the blue cheese sauce which surprised me because I hate blue cheese). The brisket sandwich was overall very sweet, so make sure you're okay with sweet savory dishes. The salmon bowl was pretty disappointing. Salmon was way overcooked and quite small. The remained of the bowl was dry and bland but I tasted the sauce to be added and I didn't like it so dry was better. The seaweed salad I liked but wished had more cucumber to seaweed ratio. Prices are a bit high, but not unexpectedly for a place like this.

Food is good but the amount you are paying you would expect to walk away full. We had the brisket and pork loin and for appetizer was the noodles and wings. The overall price is a bit high especially since you do not get any side with it or anything to go with your entree. The atmosphere is nice and the overall experience for me is that it is a very hipster or trendy place to go to. The wings are a bit overpriced for $13.50 you would expect more then 6 small wings and blue cheese sauce which was watery. The brisket was $18.50 which is a bit high for me since if you go to a decent BBQ place, they are charging $20-$30 for a pound. This doesn't even seem to reach half a pound. The pork loin was $15.50 which also seems over priced for me since it is just the pork loin itself. The service is all right since most of the things are self serve besides the alcoholic drink. Overall I would come back just to try their new food or if I was invited out but would not come if I am hungry in my opinion. Like I mentioned before it is very hipster or trendy.

We go to Loro often and love the dishes. The new summer ramen they have on tues&wed tastes awful. The chicken was hard and unseasoned, difficult to chew and eat. Same with the tomatoes and sweet corn felt weird even trying for a “summery” ramen. Very disappointed . I had small clump of uncooked noodles. We used to come weekly for ramen before summer.

I was looking forward to eating at this restaurant. I had received a smartly done marketing card packet with a $15 off coupon. I was really hungry and we ordered a lot of food. I have attached photos of the main and side dishes that were ordered. The atmosphere was the best thing here. It would be a great place to meet up with a few friends to have a few drinks. There were multiple tv screens as seen in the indoor dining picture. The food looks amazing, but the taste just isn't there, at all. Our appetizers were the The Thai Chips and Dip and the Grilled Edamame. The best thing about the chips and dip was the Thai green salsa. Otherwise, nothing else stood out. The Edamame was the winner of the night. It was excellent! The flavor popped with sesame and was a great value for the amount of food you received. The Papaya Salad was good, but I am not a fan of sour, so I really couldn't eat very much of it. Our main entrees were The Chopped Smoked Brisket (Rice Bowl) which was shredded like a barbacoa and was way too sweet and The Malaysian Curry Chicken (Rice Bowl) that had no flavor, whatsoever. There was a sauce added on the side in a plastic container. I tested it before pouring it onto my meal. It was so sour that if I had put it on my dish, it would have been inedible. Our desserts were Key Lime Pie which was the smallest portion of a piece of pie that I have ever seen in my life. The cost was outrageous for what you got. The pie was served in a tiny aluminum circular container. The other dessert was a chocolate chip cookie which was okay, but the price was double what it should have been. Overall, our dining experience was not good. The food for the most part was eye candy with no delivery in taste. I am not sure that I would return here unless it was for drinks only. Big disappointment! I really try not to give bad reviews, but this place really needs to look at their flavor profiles and make some serious changes in my opinion.

Ok bruh we go when its not busy at all, then they take 45 minutes to bring out a bowl of ramen. Someone at the table ordered ramen at the same time and got it within 5 minutes. How can you forget an order and then when we go up to check on where it is after sitting there for 20 minutes, you say youre working on it. Then take another 25 minutes. Make it make sense. Maybe this is just a one-time problem but definitely will not be coming back anytime soon if service will be like this when it's busy.

Loro Addison has gone to the south very quickly recently. I have enjoyed food and service before. However, last two days of experience definitely changed my mind. I went there with my co workers (6 of us) for lunch on 01/16/24. As we sat down and ordered our food as a group order. Then the app had an issue to check out for the payment. I had to find any server available. It was so hard to get any help to finalize our orders for about 10 minutes or so. We finally got one server to help us. He eventually reordered manually on his small hand-held machine and asked me to pay. When I tried to pay, it was asking me to pay the tip! I asked him how I could pay the tip even before the order??? Isn't the tip for the service that I pay after the meal? It was almost like the huge pressure to pay the tip as a part of the price of the food. I paid the tip anyway. Another 10 minutes later or so, server delivered only two out of four appetizers and told us the other two would come soon. Then the main meals were provided. in the middle of the main meals, I asked one of the servers that we didn't get the appetizer orders yet. It seems they totally forgot. When we finished up all our main meals, the other two appetizers came out! We could not enjoy the other two appetizers as we finished out meals. We, 6 of us left the restaurant with very disappointing feelings. Then I decided to order take outs on 01/17/24, a day after the bad experience, because I still thought their food was decent. I ordered fritters, rice bowl, and salad for to go @ 04:15 and was told the food would be ready by 04: 31. I arrived at the take out parking spot @ 04:35 and sent them a message I was here to pick up. I got an reply saying one of the staffs would come out with the order very quickly. Well, I waited for 20 minutes till 04:55, but no one came out. So I decided to come in the restaurant and check. Once I came in and asked for my order, a staff told me they have been busy. Guess what?! There were only two tables with the customers. Restaurant was almost empty! I was shocked for what I was told. Then a staff tried to offer a free cookies. Are you kidding me? I have been waiting for 20 minutes and the food was already cold on the shelf! I was quite frustrated and disappointed again! I rejected the free cookie and picked up my order and quickly left the restaurant. Once I came home and open the food.... well food were not good at all. Salad was soaked with too much of the dressing. (see the picture!) Vegetable was not fresh. Fried tofu was like it was fried multiple times and full of oil. Rice bowl was very small and tasted very plain. Fritters were same soaked with oil and too greasy. I totally felt that the staffs were just looking for tips and more tips even before the service, food has been gone south very much and tasted very oily and plain. Prices were hyped, just because of the concept of the Asian fusion, which doesn't make sense and didn't deliver the concept to the food at all. After two days in a row pretty bad experiences, I gave up Loro Addison. If you really want to try this restaurant, be prepare to pay the big tip even before the food, expect you would have to keep looking for the services even the tips, see the lots of staffs doing nothing, but looking for the money, wait for your food which staffs will forget about.
