Velvet Café & Té Aguascalientes Reviews
Excelente food and drinks. The roof top bar is beautiful.
Great Food, Service and Views. Ricardo is our Favorite. Very attentive ⭐️
Really fantastic place to have a drink or dine. A bit pricey for the area, but worth it for the attention. Ample room in the main floor, but the main attraction is the terrace. Live music on fridays and saturdays, with 50 pesos cover per person. Food is good presentation and flavor. Reservations are recomended for fridays and saturdays
Great place. Nice atmosphere. Central location. Terrace is really a plus. I was eating out there twice. Both times the food was good. And the guacamole was delicious. The waiter mixed it in front of me in a huge stone bowl. The service was not slower than in other Mexican restaurants. Recommended.
Great view. Terrace is spectacular. Service was cordial but a bit slow. Drinks were average. We didn't try food, but the pizzas looked good. In summary, it's good but there's room for improvement.
Personally great atmosphere, but the food isn't at its peak expected, more flavors and uniqueness. Maybe return for a drink. Ariana was excellent even though the kitchen failed.
Have to say I was a bit disappointed. Service was ok. Food was average. They have a roof top. The views though... those were great. In all honesty the highlight to me was that you could appreciate the stained glass from the temple Ave Maria which is next door.
The most horrible experience EVER... Me and my wife thought this place was going to be the best option for new years dinner, for many reasons... down town, cool view and the the prices... but NOPE... at beginning when we got our bottle of wine the server never let me sip it... just pour both glasses, we ordered a guacamole as an appetizer, after 35 min it was wrong... asked him what kind of empanadas and had to go to ask, this guy didn't bother to study the menu... so no chips and no guacamole after an hour, so I get up and went to look for the "manager" ha ha ha ... an old lady that doesn't has an Idea what costumer service "hospitality " means... requested a server swap and she sent me a very Nice guy Leon, so the manager never offered something for all the inconvenience, guess in Mexico the management just don't care about costumers... isn't the 1st time happening in Mexico. So finally order our dinner, Steak and pork chops... after an 1:15 min our meats were not even medium rare were just rare from inside. Got up again and look for Cristina the "manager" and Leon told me that they have a huge issue at the kitchen, many costumers with same problem. So I just decided to get out of there and ofcuz didn't pay for anything just because they don't care about costumers... please do not waste your time and money in this horrible "Restaurant". No Bueno!!!
I don't enjoy making comments like this but our experience was unfortunately very bad. We wait for a long time to be served and when we finally order they didn't have what we wanted....we ordered another thing. I am vegetarian and asked for the size of the salad which I was told was big. When it was served it was VERY small and had crickets on it which I do to a misunderstanding had no idea about. My boyfriends food was cold and there were hard grains in the sauce which he almost cracked his teeth on. I politely told the waiter this but his reaction was to put all the fault on my part and doubting what is was saying. There where no compromise from the waiters side and the price remained incredible overpriced!!! Do not go here unless you want a good view which you can find much better just around the corner!
