The pizza is very good. Service is prompt and the staff is very friendly. I think they all speak English which is a plus for the gringos visiting the area.

Very good pizza! I ordered the Hawaiian - the crust was yummy and cooked just right. The sauce was also very good and applied in the right quantity. I was only in town visiting for 10 days and had to go back a second time before heading home. You won’t regret ordering from this pizzaria!

So not only was this place my savior getting into Ajijic late on a Friday, but Caesar learned it was my birthday the following Monday and came in on his day off to make me/our friends a BBQ shrimp dinner. So stinking special. Also the fruit (mango and passion fruit) margaritas and all the pizzas are insanely good. Can't recommend it enough!!!

My husband had not had a pizza in over 20 years because he is allergic to tomatoes and lactose intolerant. The staff at M&J's created a pizza that was delicious and safe for him to eat. I cannot wait until we go back again! And it will be really soon!!!

We first visited Royal Pizza in 2017 when they were located on Indepencia. We loved walking by the window watching them make dough. We moved here in 2019. What a surprise to find them right at the bottom of our street! They relocated to Guadalupe Victoria. So there's the history. Our pizza arrived exactly as ordered in a reasonable amount of time considering it was made to order. We ordered beer from the menu and our mesero dashed down the street to bring us cold beer. Another fun bit of living in México. Crust is thin, but not like a cracker. More like the big slices from New York. Sauce was well-seasoned and there was enough to taste it through the bold flavors of the toppings. The owners are friendly people. It's a long walk for us, but worth it.

Delicious pizza, and the house made Ranch dressing is great. This is always good. They have the certificate on the wall that they were chosen the Best Pizza in 2018. I didn't get to vote last, but they'll get my vote this year.

Moises, Moi for his friends, learnt firsthand from the great Pasquale, may he Rest In Peace, owner and founder of "Pizza Tevere", the Italian's favorite Pizza Place in Guadalajara for decades! When you order one of this guy’s creations you're being transported to Rome, thanks to a pizza that has nothing to envy to the best and most renowned pizzas of the Italian Capital. The edge is perfectly spongy in its interior while crusty outside, really superior to any other I tried in the whole México in 20 years, the sauce is tasty, it's actually the heart of these beautiful pies and the cheese is not any cheese, because thanks to his teacher Moi knows very well how to choose a mozzarella and the exact amount to put on each pizza. He bakes his pizza in a folkloric wood oven entirely made of stone and after 1 minute and change they're perfectly done and delicious, with all the mozzarella cheese bubbling on the surface and a real Italian aroma! This is definitely the place to go if you wanna try something good, enjoyable from start to finish. I normally order one that has anchovies, blue cheese and Italian Cured Sausage on it and, even though I must admit it doesn't smell so well... the taste is unique, perfect for Moi ‘s tasty dough, at least in my humble opinion. M&J Pizza is very central, only a few steps from San Andrés Church, the Plaza, Malecón and one block from the Carretera (the freeway) lakeside. Everybody here is very kind and friendly and Moi… well Moi is just the Master!!! After being 3 consecutive years away and so far from Italy, 2 years ago I discovered this place , and since then it's my only option in Ajijic for a good pizza, the only one that really takes me to my Country, no exaggerations,, really, they don’t pay me to write this,, reallyyyyy!!!!!!!! Well, I live for eating and not vice versa so I’m quite a pain in the… head for restaurateurs because it’s so difficult to find good places where you can order anything you want and you know it’ll be delicious; it’s the same in Italy also, and in the rest of the world, I guess. Un lugar algo escondido, pero Altamente recomendable, no es barato, sin embargo, en el precio trae la calidad y el sabor. La verdad vale la pena ir y darse un delicioso gusto, si te fascina Little Caesars, esto no es lo tuyo. Un gran sabor si se disfruta de gran forma. Como tip: En la esquina de la carretera (aquí en Ajijic) como referencia hay una Farmacia Guadalajara, esa es la calle para entrar con dirección a la laguna, tres- cuatro cuadras abajo en la pura esquina ahí está este grandioso lugar.

I'm currently staying in ajijic at casa del sol. I walked down tonight to get 2 pizzas..a pepperoni bacon for me and a 3 cheese for My Mom. The young lady out front was English speaking very friendly. Pizzas took about 15 minutes with a brick oven in the kitchen. My pizza was excellent..but ok I'm a pizza lover..but the best compliment was from my mom who is just so so when it comes to pizza if she eats pizza 3 times a year she's happy. She said she thought it was the best pizza she had ever had. I tasted it..and I have to say the mix of cheeses was wonderful and the sauce and crust on both were wonderful..really perfect pizzas. I would highly recommend their pizza..and I'm the type I can eat pizza twice a week..thank you for a wonderful pizza.. EDIT..June 7 we tried the Shrimp pizza..wow!! What a great flavor..don't let the description scare you.. its a regular pizza with deliciously seasoned diced shrimp all over the top.. we got delivery tonight was super fast about 25 mins.

I don't give many 5 star reviews but this place is deserving. The pizza is PERFECT, delicious sauce, excellent crust, fantastic mozarella. The salads are large and fresh, the service is excellent and the prices are quite reasonable. I have tried many well reviewed places and this is by f'ar the best 'gringo pizza' available in Ajijic. (Budget tips. The salads are large enough to share and the calzone is, quite literally, a pizza folded in half...at half the price. Quite a bargain at $60 pesos!)

Omg! Ajijic 's best kept secret in pizza is right here! You definitely have to make your way here, there is a casual and cozy area to enjoy your food and drink. Javier is absolutely wonderful and provides great suggestions. There are salads, Pizza, calzones and a variety of beverages. We enjoyed vino tanto and the mixed pizza with pepperoni, salami, mushrooms, black olives and green peppers. The pizza oven is right there so you can see your pizza being made so it is hot and fresh, delivery is available too. There is a wide selection of pizzas so you can pick your own!! Honestly, please stop by, it will be a terrific experience!!

Fantastic pizza...they don't have wood-fired pizza ovens in Ajijic, but this is as close as you will get (propane-fired)! Also, they deliver!

This is a really good pizza. We got a Meat pizza to go. I was surprised by the flavor. Good sauce and cheese. The place is pretty small and kind of hot - my only knock on the place. Service was great - look forward to going back

Las pizzas están buenas y la atención es excelente. Soló un pequeño comentario que puede ser útil para los que no hablamos inglés : proponer el menú en español. Así se pueden evitar las confuciones como pedir una pizza con chile Serrano cuando se cree que es un tipo de jamón :')

Pizzas muy ricas, totalmente artesanales. Una muy buena opción si vas a Ajijic, pues el restaurante se encuentra algo oculto dentro del pueblo. Falta un poco de ambientación para darle 5 estrellas. Si sólo es por las pizzas sin duda las merece.

The pizza was very good, but a little too salty (Would have taken a quarter star off if available). The funny thing is the caprese salad needed salt. The staff was very nice and have free delivery in Ajijic. The prices were good too. I will definitely give them another go.

We visited the location in Ajijic Centro. The pizza was very good with excellent service. This location has a counter with about 4 stools and one table. It appears to be more "Takeout" so it's no frills. Stone-oven is good, but wood-fired is still the best. Definitely recommend for a "pizza" fix.

This was our first time here. The place is nice, service was very good. The place was full. We were able to find a table for the 4 of us. The menu is small with some very unique pizzas on it. My wife and I do not agree on the type of pizza we both like, so we were very happy to find they would do half and half pizza. The next time we eat here we will ask for extra sauce, our pizza was dry by our standards. Over all, they make a good pizza, we will be back:)

Disappointing. Crust was ok but tomato sauce mediocre at best. I was hungry so took it to go. I didn’t notice any special atmosphere. No one was there to eat.

I normally do not post bad reviews but yesterday we went in to pick up take out pizza and wings. The music was so loud that I had a headache within 10 minutes. During the wait we shared a beer and they brought a lovely frosted mug for it. The meat lovers pizza was terrible with a thin bland crust, very little cheese and overall little flavour. The Chicken Wings were awful with a very hard battered crust, not crisp and flakey at all. After eating one pizza piece each and one wing, the lot went in the garbage. Not sure if this was run by the old M&J crew or not. Confusing with the Popey's name out front so I don't now if the wings were the fault of Popey's crew or M&Js

We ordered a vegetarian pizza and asked for no mushrooms and no cheese but instead can we sub olives and jalapeno peppers, the server said no problem, but when we received the bill we were charged an extra 40 pesos. When we asked the server he said the owner said it's not his problem we didn't want the mushrooms and cheese so the olives and peppers were an extra charge. To me that's bad business and we won't go back there, ever!!!

Nada que ver las imágenes que promocionan con lo que te dan. Además que es muy pequeña. Para el precio la verdad es que dejan mucho que desear. Creo que hay lugares mejores.

No quiero ser grosero con el comentario en lo absoluto, solamente sincero con mi opinión, no eran lo que yo esperé, considero que están aún por detrás de Domino's...y entiéndase que Domino's no son pizzas artesanales.
