The bartender was great and recommended the Mezcal that he liked the most. It was super smooth. All of the food that we had tasted very authentic. The house made blue masa, Clamato shrimp, and spicy tuna tostada, and pork sopa were sooo delicious.

One of the three themed restaurants inside of UNICO. This is the Mexican restaurant and it has a lot of food options. We had to book our nightly reservations due to COVID but had no issue booking any of the restaurants any night. We ordered a bunch of the smaller dishes to try many different options and they were all great. The two signature drinks are very good and you can build your own If you choose.

To be honest, we didn't like it that much. Like other restaurants in the hotel, there aren't many Mexican food options, and I'm allergic to pork, which limited my choices. It's very focused on Yucatecan cuisine. We didn't like the desserts either. The waiter who served us was excellent.

This was our least favorite night of dining at the resort. No vegetarian main dish, starter with the sauce and dip were weird. I ate a few bites of everything and wished we had eaten at the sushi restaurant again

I went in with high expectations but this turned out to be my least favorite restaurant on the resort. I got the chance to try many different dishes, including the tres leches which I was really looking forward to but everything was mediocre at most. The birria tacos were the biggest disappointment, no cheese and the tortilla was a bit stale. Despite everything, the service was very good!

I’m not a fan of Yucatán dishes, even after travels to Valladolid and Merida, and it was magnified by eating at this place. AIs are notorious for unauthentic foods. Nothing, and I’ll repeat - nothing, I ordered tasted great despite all of the fantastic reviews of other individuals visiting Unico who raved this was their favorite place. I was unimpressed and left hungry. I probably ate via room service more than I ever have at an AI before. I hope you find this review helpful. If so, please give me a thumbs up. Thank you.
