Brickhouse Cafe and Bar Alameda Reviews
May was serving my table, very nice person. Very attentive service wise & the food looked, tasted great. Check them out definitely.
We had Sunday Brunch here before the Giants game Super cute outdoor dining area. Friendly staff and great service. My husband had the biscuits and gravy which came with eggs and fried potatoes. I had an Ahi sandwich that came with a delicious light salad. The ahi did have a bit of a spicy sauce on a ciabatta roll.
It was a great experience here at Brickhouse! The food was so good. The star of the show was the pickled side of the wagyu burger, The Bar-Ar Burger (i don’t recall the spelling). Sally is GREAT!
Brickhouse is the perfect combo of vibe, ambiance, good food, great beer selection, and rustic charm. The building itself is made of brick and you can almost taste the history of the space walking inside. We came in tonight and ordered their Tuesday Pozole; they took our food orders around 9:15 or so, and we got our food quickly. The pork pozole is full of flavor, packed with a tomatoey kick that got my saliva flowing. It comes with a mix of sides— red pepper flakes, crunchy salty tortilla bits, fresh chopped cabbage and cilantro, raw white onions, perfectly ripe avocado, sliced radish and a squeeze of lime. My gringa mouth needed to mellow the spice a bit so I ordered some sour cream to go with it, mixed it in thoroughly, and it was stunningly ideal. We each got a bowl of that, and started with their fresh rosemary chips and a side of ranch. Delicious. Impressed. The wait staff were all lovely humans, and super helpful. We will return.
The best little gem close to the ballpark. Service was awesome and the food impressive! The burgers are incredible, every dish was fresh. Garlic fries better than oracle park. Shrimp and grits very savory, this will be our new pre game spot. Everything was delicious.
Alrighty, here we are... I wanted the wagyu but not at $30... I came and grabbed the brickhouse burger medium... I've read many bad reviews about this place and the Burgers. This burger is phenomenal and cooked exactly the way I ordered with some pink. It's great. Don't let the poor reviews deter you from the delicious burger. They play Paisa music.. doesn't match the demographic.
Brickhouse is my new favorite neighborhood spot! I can’t believe I hadn’t been here before. The food was fantastic! Not pictured but I have also been back for lunch & dinner here both which were fantastic. I highly recommend the burgers, fish & chips, pasta, & the brunch items! They also have a great beer selection & cocktail menu.
Super cool venue that is walking distance from Oracle Park with some outdoor seating as well as spacious indoor seating with a large bar. Staff was super friendly and quick. Large menu with a lot of variety and pretty typical bar food that all looked good when it came out to the tables. I had their classic burger, which was perfectly cooked and extremely tasty. Great beer selection and otherwise full bar. Next time we’re back for another game. We will definitely come back to eat here again.
The decor and ambience is very modern while still maintaining the original design and foundation. The staff is super friendly and attentive. Place gets busy even during baseball games. Went here before the giants game and was quite impressed. I’d love to come back next time I’m in town. The food and drinks were impressive and left me wanting more. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. You definitely won’t be disappointed if you decide to stop by.
The Brickhouse burger is terrific & garlic fries were so tasty. They're celebrating 25 years in Business on Nov 8th! Happy Silver Anniversary.
Simple large menu with a lot of options to choose from. On a game day I’m sure they are packed to the capacity but on this particular weekend I’m sure I got lucky. Brick Hiuse Burger with no tomato and it was awesome. The chips really stole the show making it a complete order. Desert was also awesome, the churros are amazing but the apple pie sensations with caramel were the star of the show. Don’t be afraid to add ice cream(thank me later) Drinks were also awesome with no complaints on the strength. If your in the neighborhood lookin for a good drink and some awesome food stop by!
Went here for brunch and football on Sunday. Service was great, it was one nice lady serving the whole place but she was great! The vibes were great but the breakfast was a little mid… the scrambled eggs were a bit off and the friend chicken was not worth it (unseasoned) but im sure that a burger & sweet potato fries would of been a better choice. So I’ll probably return
Don’t ever come here with a larger group their kitchen cannot handle it. If you’re considering this place with a large group of friends or work group skip it. We preordered all our food, waited 90 mins, it finally comes out cold. One woman who worked there was super rude and unapologetic about it too. We won’t be back ever
We went for dinner. Our server was almost nonexistent except to take our order. We had a party of 9 people. Everyone’s food came out at different times. People in our group who got their food first were done by the time our last people got their food. Most of us got burgers, a couple got the chicken pot pie and the kids ordered off the kids menu. The burgers were bland. There was no seasoning on it. People who did the ‘make your own burger’ didn’t receive it how it was ordered. The fries were pretty good, the garlic fries were amazing, best thing I ate. I would not go back nor would I recommend anyone else go. It was also crazy expensive for what it was. Gratuity was added because of our party size which almost made it worse because of the lack of service.
