Such a cute dive bar! Love the bartender. She was the sweetest person ever who invited to play puzzles that made our night so much fun. Must come visit bar to enjoy the chill vibes with great music (our night had 2000s pop which my friends and I sang to all night long).

Calypso is quite possibly the best person one could ever meet in a crisis: we entered this bar like full-on chaos monkeys after accidentally leaving a phone in a cab. We were in a full tizzy, panic-calling our driver, nobody thinking straight — and she instantly read the room and went into crisis-management mode. Within seconds of her calming and positive spirit, we made it off the ledge, avoided at least three strokes, and — best of all — even had fun. When the phone finally and joyously made it back to us (thank you, Nelson!), the celebration was real. The whole experience made this bar feel like home, instantly. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Way overdue review! Been coming here for the past 4 years. The owner Michelle is the sweetest person & the atmosphere is chill and comforting. This has always been either my first or last stop for the night with friends (open until 2 am). Drinks average $8-$12. I live in the area and always bring my friends here to guarantee a good time! P.s. pets are all allowed

By far, the best bar I ever went to in San Francisco. Just real people hanging out in this "dive" and being nice to each other.

The Nags Head is a welcoming neighborhood bar where the bartender puts in the effort to learn your name and get to know you. When I went, most people at this establishment were on a first name basis. It was so refreshing to see a strong sense of community despite being in the city. The bar primarily offers beer and ciders, but the bartender can make you any cocktail if they have the ingredients, and the drinks are very affordable.

Lovely bar and place to visit except for the skooma addicts that will occasionally agrro and will attack you. Try the Kwama eggs, you'll thank me later.

Bartender unfriendly, bar almost completely empty 3 tv's ding the work which would be and should be for a space of social interaction.

Crazy expensive! $18 for Glenfiddich 12. She said $2 more for a shot of McAllen. That would be overpriced even downtown in the financial district.. Always remember to ask how much they charge for scotch!
