Papavero Rosso Alba Reviews
Welcoming and helpful staff. Pizza for lunch too... huge, by the way... 😋 as well as delicious and well-cooked. Excellent Bagna cauda, including the Paccheri with Pachino cherry tomatoes and creamy buffalo mozzarella... basically everything was more than excellent. Quality and price included. We will gladly return. Thanks Vera (Alba)
I can say that your location was a wonderful discovery. The staff was knowledgeable, very courteous, attentive, and kind. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Dishes were carefully served to meet every need. Everything was perfect for us and even for our four-legged friend, who was greeted with a bowl of water from the staff. We will gladly return, and I highly recommend it for its value.
I went to this restaurant for lunch today with friends, and I have to say our experience was truly excellent. I recommend the fondue flan and the fantastic tajarin with black truffle. The service was reliable and the wait staff were friendly. The prices were slightly lower than average. Highly recommended.
We had a wonderful time at this excellent restaurant located a little outside the city center: welcoming and "young" atmosphere (Radio Zeta was playing in the background during our dinner 📻🎵🎶), friendly waiters, and fairly fast service. Both the pizzas and the first courses were delicious: the mushroom tajarin was truly tasty, the bread was incredibly soft! I couldn't resist mopping up the porcini mushroom sauce with a nice mop of bread 😋😋 To top it off, Bonet was excellent, even if it was small.
All good! A little bit crowded, but it is normal during the truffle festival! However, the service was great and the pizza was super delicious! Incredible price!
Great for families.
Delicious large pizzas at a great price. Also a few menu of pasta and seafood.
Very good pizza and nice prices
Had the seafood pizza there. For 11€ a bit more than the other pizzas on the huge pizza list, but what a bargain. I'm a pizza lover but this is definitely the best seafood pizza I have ever had. It was amazing. It was huge and came topped with tons of fresh mussels and exquisitely tender squid. I'd give six stars if it were possible.
Choose a pizza here! They provide ideal very thin pizze. But be aware - the pizzas are huge, maybe half a meter in diameter. It you like to eat a lot, it won't be a problem for you, though. We were unable to take anything else. Regarding wines - I guess this is because of the region that you get such a good wine list in pizzeria, including several Barolos.
Superb and affordable meals, very delicious and artistically prepared, good looking peole and corteous, nice place, but you need to wait 'coz they take time but worth it !
What a great restaurant! The food was fresh and delicious, a feast also for the eyes as the presentation was great, every plate that came out with the waitress looked amazing. Had the farinata caprese, octopus salad, a burger and the seafood pizza and it all was a success. Even the coffee at the end was creamy and not disappointing. koodos also for the service. Extremely recommended!
Great place. Always full of peolle, so make sure you have a reservation. Food is good and waiters very friendly and helpfull. A must go!

Very satisfied with the place, the service, the pizza, and even the dessert, all super good and well-prepared. Excellent table service, zero errors, and no delays. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I realized I'd paid for two bottles of water at home, but only had one during dinner. It may only be €2 for some, but I'm honestly a little sad to give away €2 for so much!

Definitely not recommended. One of the employees attacked me violently during a dispute over a questionable bill amount. I don't recommend going there if you value honest service and your personal safety (especially as a foreigner). Me and my friend didn't like the wine we ordered by bottle which we told the waiter but also indicated that we know we still need to pay for it. He took the bottle away without saying anything and asked if we want another one. We were surprised but took it as a sign of excellent service and going the extra mile so we ordered a different wine. When paying the bill it turned out that we were charged for both bottles. When we indicated that this is not fair and we are not going to pay since he took the first bottle away without indicating anything which was not an honest behaviour and that we felt tricked and taken advantage of, the waiter got very angry. As the dispute progressed he was getting more and more angry and it ended up with him throwing the box with both bottles in it at me. This was a physically violent behaviour which I can't tolerate so we left the restaurant after paying in cash the amount we thought was fair. I should have probably called the police but I just wanted for it to be over so I didn't, and we went home shaken. The pizza was decent but not worth the danger of being scammed and attacked by the staff.
