Bareburger Albans Reviews
Went there once to try the Impossible Burger. Wow, it was great! Fast service, sat outside along Vernon Blvd. There are quite a few vegan burgers (the prairie burger is also great). The bread is incredible! And the vegan items are denoted on the menu. Way more vegan options than you would expect at a burger place.
You will absolutely love this spot. Cute little spot with amazing service and delicious food. Way better than you would expect. Jules is world class server, so nice and welcoming. Manager Chris was super courteous and madethe experience wonderful. 5 Stars. I
angel was the sweetest!! Amazing food and extremely attentive to allergies and dietary preferences!!
I’m gluten free and don’t remember the last time I had a burger that didn’t instantly fall apart or things like fried pickles or popcorn chicken. So grateful!
Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! The burgers were juicy and full of flavor, cooked just right, and piled high with fresh toppings. The sides were just as impressive—crispy onion rings, perfectly seasoned sweet potato fries, and golden French fries that hit the spot. Will visit again. Great servers, very helpful with menu
I was a bit skeptical about trying this out because of the whole organic deal, but i must say i was blown away. i went there with my friend and this place rocks. went back a second time with my girlfriend and she feel in love the fact that they offer a variety of options and the service is great will make anyone come back for more. Proper burger place for friends or a date night. Outdoor seating in the summer can't go wrong.
Ordered a build my own burger with a quinoa-chia-green peas patty and loved it! The option to customize every aspect of ther burger is great. In combination with the usually good service at Bareburger restaurants, this place is a must go no matter what your dietary preferences are.
Awesome burger spot on Vernon! Staff is extremely helpful and friendly and their menu is a gluten free dream - everything is labeled! I had the “chicky club” with a gluten free bun, fries, and some local hard cider. Chicken was cooked well and avocado was fresh! Side note: they even have gluten free fried chicken
Hands down the best vegan nuggets I've ever had 😍 onion rings, "tap" soda and brussel sprouts were amazing, too. The vegan shake just tasted like SO Delicious brand's vanilla ice cream, which I personally don't like, but if you like that ice cream then it's great with the hemp milk! Unfortunately our server hit on my friend...
I’ve tried almost any meat options; wagyu, elk, bison etc and got paired them with avocado, sprouts and Parmesan. I can’t tell enough of how delicious they were all… I’d strongly recommend them-especially wagyu. Portions are huge and healthy/low carb options are available for the bun like flaxseed bun, lettuce wraps etc which I appreciate a lot. Server is also aways so kind
Food was so good! Really appreciated all the vegan/vegetarian options. Their build your own burger was very reasonable priced. Burgers are also massive portions. Their onion rings were super crispy and well seasoned. Service was a little slow. Otherwise friendly.
We come here every time we are in Long Island City, which is quite a lot. We can just sit there, eat, drink and just talk. It’s also family friendly which I love because I can take my kids here and just spend time with them. The food is good, I love their burgers!
The black bean burgers on the multi grain sprouted buns (around $13 -$15 each) were really tasty & delicious! The atmosphere and service was pleasant too! It’s nice you can customize them to suit your tastes.
It was pretty good! I liked how soft the buns were. Nothing over the top but I wasn’t looking for that. The regular sized patty burger was very juicy! They serve a bag of popcorn for free, which was great for kids.
Yummy burgers. You choose what you want on it. Service is quick and cute place. Music is vibrant and funny decor.
Food was great, our Server Juliann was attentive and checked in to see if we needed anything else. Will definitely come again
My husband and I had a great lunch date here. It took a long time for the food to come out, but it was good—I had the elk burger and the roasted Brussels sprouts. Would come here again as long as we aren’t rushed.
Long Island City got lucky with this burger joint in their neck of the concrete jungle. The food is phenomenal and the service is quick and speedy. I got the Sweet Dreams plant based burger and the sweet potato fries. All of it was fantastic. Even the beer was crispy fresh. You order with a QR and they bring it out to you pretty quickly. It’s definitely a great spot for a lunch or dinner date with daddy.
Great burgers! I received some coupons and I'm very glad I used them. They also have impossible burgers. Fried are very good and you can choose from several sauces. Will be back!
Delicious meal and affordable price. The truffle French fries is so good ! You better try the chicken wings. I like my chicken wings naked and I ask for the sauce on the side. The burger was juicy and tasty. You better try the chocolate milk shake with coconut it’s amazingggg!!!
I’ve never been to a Bareburger before so I went to this burger spot with some co workers one night because we were feeling burgers and heard that this chain was very good. So we all decided to go and have our dinner there and lemme tell ya, the burgers are amazing. Our server was super duper nice (I forget her name but she’s Filipino with glasses) so kudos to her! She gave us tasty popcorn and even offered us if we wanted to take some to go. Overall, not only the food was good, was the service and the atmosphere was great. It was a nice chill place to eat and chill. Would come back again.

It was such a great find! I was looking for something filling and savory, and this place hit the spot. I stumbled across this little gem, and was pleasantly surprised. The Korean wings were seasoned well, carrot cake was delicious and the Salad was more than I anticipated. The gentlemans recommendations at the to-go counter for this establishment was great and spot on. The service was friendly and helpful when I had questions. I came when there weren't alot of people so everything moved smoothly, Definitely a spot I’d come back to.
yummy food great servers, the whole team is great!!!!!!!!!! i totally recommend this place

Grass fed burgers, amazing milkshakes, great service from Juliann (Jules). What more could you ask for?
I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a meal this much. Efficient service with personal care. The staff's effort makes this restaurant good. Their culinary execution beats pricey restaurants. …
Great burgers !tastes fresh , lots of choices , quick delivery . I wish there were more locations all over the city !

Great selection and customization of many vegan and gluten free options as well as bison, elk, and beef burgers. The Brussels Sprouts with Asiago and honey is fantastic. We always do delivery.
Good quality is always great. Ingredients are fresh and organic. Very tasty! delivery was on time!
Friendly staff. Came in here to get drinks with the crew. Workers were very welcoming and showed us a great time.
Delightful little burger restaurant with a good setup and selection. If you're searching this area for a good burger, you've found it. They've got a variety of specialty burgers as well as a convenient and intuitive build-your-own option. There are a few fixings to share like fries, onion rings and mozz sticks. They also have a variety of beers, wine, ales and liquors and they even have an entire Vegan menu if that's what you're looking for. I had come here with a friend on the pretense of getting a burger, but we both decided on chicken instead, so I can't wholeheartedly vouch for their burgers, but everyone around us seemed to be enjoying theirs. It wasn't because the burger selections looked bad, but none of them really stood out to us either and chicken just sounded better in the moment. I went for grilled chicken and she had fried buttermilk chicken. We also shared some waffle fries and each had a hard apple cider, both of which were quite good. Both of our sandwiches were absolutely amazing as well. Pricing is typical for this area of New York, which is a bit high, but not unexpected or troubling in the least; you definitely get what you paid for. Restaurant environment was clean and adequate with a quirky, cute aesthetic that fits the area. The food is killer and almost makes me want to have it again if I revisit NY again. Definitely give this one a try if you're wanting an outstanding burger or chicken sandwich.

I appreciate bareburger because they are always trying new menu items to keep it fresh and you can customize your orders. The new falafel wrap was really tasty.

This place was highly recommended to us. We were there around lunch time and the place was dead. We waited over an hour for our food. Considering when we ordered we were the only ones in the restaurant, an hour is completely unacceptable. We had to ask how much longer our food would take. She offered to put it into to go boxes, but we had a flight to catch so no. We had to scarf down our food in order to make a flight. If you have that kind of time, maybe this place is for you as the food was good, but service is horrendous.
Let's start with vibes. Nice rustic decor, beautifully decorated with reclaimed wood. Music, no particular genre. One song could be rock other could be country and so on. Hospitality services is below average. Upon entering you wait and they server will come and ask if take out delivery. Table we received was not properly clean you can feel the sticky feeling of greasy substance. Servers were busy chatting and on cellphone rather than waiting on customers. Food, burger were little above average, not the best or tastiest as they claim. I have worked with food and it is no where near what is called fresh. Only item that felt fresh was sweet potato fries. Conclusion, Premium price, average service and average burger, not the best.
While I would say the food is good, the service was mid. I've came here two weeks ago and came back here again. The first time I've came, I had the Bareburger and a beer. It came with popcorn which w…
I rarely leave negative reviews, but I am so stunned at what this location is selling vs what they are advertising. I purchased the wagyu smash burger. I am so incredibly upset that I paid $9 for what was smaller than a dollar meal cheese burger at McDonalds. (For reference: my hand is VERY small: 3.25 inches wide, so you can assume the burger size) The patty was half the size of the already extremely small burger bun, cooked to oblivion, a finger worth’s smear of sauce and 2 pickles. Hoping and praying good things come in small packages, I gave it a shot (it was also $9 and I was already back at work with my lunch break almost over because it took 25 minutes to make this slider sized burger). It was actually tasteless. It was like putting an ikea meatball on a potato bun. The only thing I tasted was bread. The advertised picture is a smash burger loaded with onion, sauce and a patty that extends past the bun…. What I received was a flashback to high school cafeteria lunch. I am so sick of atrocious pricing in LIC. The very least restaurants can do is provide quality food if they aren’t going to make their food affordable. Side note: I paid $8.29 and tax for this but this advertisement that was attached to my order says $3.68….unless I’m misreading, I’m not sure why I paid a different price.
I meant to ask for a flax seed keto bun but forgot so I got the brioche instead so that was on me. The impossible burger made me feel sick after eating it. It also tastes weird too. The sweet potato fries were okay. It was a lil burnt.
Easily seated. However there was only one waiter. I was disappointed in the presentation of the burger. It was very lackluster and also the taste was bland as well. I almost got up waiting for the waiter to get a refill of water. I was very disappointed about how expensive the burger was and how it tasted. Only thing I enjoyed was my bacon cheese fries. Although they skimmed on the cheese sauce.
Been here numerous times before. Nothing extraordinary about this place but I got the feeling of being discriminated today. Wasn't given the usual popcorn so I thought they stopped offering it. However, every one that came after me were given a bag. The signs of adding $1 to your order to make it a combo is no longer posted. Again, I thought they stopped offering it. My waiter, James, didn't offer it when he took my order. However, the same tables that came after me who received their popcorn were advised that they can add $1 and make their order a combo. What gives? Am I not a customer or am I considered someone who does not qualified for them?
i'm truly disappointed, we paid 52 dollars for 2 burgers. one of the burgers came with fries and onions rings. i eas given 2 onions rings that tasted like grass and the fries were okay. the cashi…
We ordered online for pickup, and got the wrong order for one of the burgers. We got a lettuce bun which was very different from the brioche bun we ordered. The lettuce bun was also not even properly done and was leaking everywhere… Called the store and they offered to replace the burger - one hour later. It was just too long to wait and too far to go pick up again. To be fair we got a refund on the burger, but still a pretty bad experience.
I used to like Bareburger very much, but the quality has decreased drastically. They charged an extra $5 for delivery on top of the tips and our order arrived 1.5 hours late (2.5 hours of the wait time in total, despite following up). We got a plate of very dry RE-fried, or overnight leftover, chicken (see picture). Not ever again. Sad. —— UPDATE —— What other people here said about unprofessional/unpleasant pick-up orders and deliveries are very similar to my experience.
I called about not having my shake as chocolate as requested and you can see the extra charge. I was ensured by Jackie that the chocolate sauce was added( I guess I’m color and shade blind) I also requested utensils. I believe my shake was given to someone else along with my Utensils. All I wanted was the refund for the fee since I didn’t get my complete order. Neither picture shows any evidence of having the chocolate sauce added. But the charge for it is surely there. Update I also used the QR code on the receipt to inform the store what happened. This was their response: Hi Kimberly, We just spoke on the phone. I’m glad we were able to clear out your concern. Rest assured the shake was made with chocolate sauce. Have a great rest of your day! Bareburger STOP to end There wasn’t an option for me to send them any of the images that are below.
I ordered from here for the first time and my carrot cake was covered in mold. This is the most egregious violation of food safety I have ever seen from a restaurant. You didn’t even care to look and see the food you were packing.
In general, I really like Bareburger. However the staff at this location seem to struggle a lot. For takeout, the last 3 times I ordered they got something wrong or were missing part of the order. I called to ask them to adjust the balance, and they promised they would, but I was never credited back on my credit card. For dine in, they’re usually very understaffed (1 person taking orders and running the food and bussing tables for the whole place) and the service is very slow.
