Fukurou Albans Reviews
Delicious ramen and thai ice tea. Also the restaurant is very clean. I truly appreciate it. Thank you so much!
Really awesome, new, casual Japanese fusion spot in Bushwick. The service is great and it’s a nice open space. BYOB with no cork fee so you can just grab cans or bottles of your drink of choice at the bodega next door and bring them in to drink during your dinner! The ramens here are amazing, the French fried nori is SO good, the karraage is solid and the pork Katsu don is tasty. really big portions! It’s a great spot to go out with big groups before a night out.
My mom and I have came to this place and that both of us ordered 2 bowls of tonkotsu ramen and that food in there tasted wonderful that the both of us enjoyed it. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was that there were many people there eating, drinking, talking, and others.
Always one of my favorites. The ramen portions are amazing. So many additives and for spicy lovers, it’s SPICY!! The desserts are the shizz. Get the mixed berry sticky rice. Tip your waiters! They are the bartender, the server, the waiter, dressing plates. They work hard!! Green book approved.
Excellent food experience. We ordered form uber eats on Saturday night spicy chicken ramen, fried wings and spring rolls. The food was so tasty and specially the ramen the broth is so delicious it has good spice (if you don’t like spicy it can be too much) but we personally enjoyed it. Will definitely go eat there next time.
I love coming here with my husband. We’re here almost every weekend for lunch and I love their spicy pork skewers, ramen, and fried pork curry over rice. My husband gets the fried pork curry over rice every time! The atmosphere is amazing and spacious. There’s always good music playing so it’s not you can hear the pin drop quiet. The staff is super. Amazing portion for the price.
Can’t hate another good Japanese spot in the area. There are plenty of other dishes I’d like to try here but this time we were feeling ramen. In short it’s good. Larger portion sizes than other more famous spots and the flavor and noodle texture was great. I word of warning if you ask for spicy they will give it to you, I could can hang awhile but eventually it did catch up to me.
The spicy miso ramen was delicious but just too spicy for me to truly enjoy, the karaage was kinda like chicken nuggets not bad just different than the karaage I usually have. The drink sunset drink that I had was ok I’ll come back to try out the rest of the menu for sure.
We placed order to go of couple ramen orders, everything was nicely packaged. Between spicy tonkotsu Miso ramen and Spicy chicken Miso ramen I would say that tonkotsu win but they are both delicious. Definitely going to order again from this location especially on a cold and rainy days.
Of course my wife Naj found this amazing restaurant for us to eat dinner! As soon as you walk through the door, it is absolutely breathtaking. It is like eating in a botanical garden. There are plants hanging from the ceiling, the walls, and the tables all around the restaurant. Your eyes become fixated on the group of hanging plants in the front of the restaurant. We were greeted by a friendly host and the waiter was very kind and offered his opinions on choices on the menu. The bar tender came over to our table and recommended his choices of cocktails. They were gorgeous to look at and refreshing to drink. The was palatable in our mouths!
A sleek new japanese fusion restaurant. The atmosphere is very clean and modern for a relaxing food experience. The food was outstandingly done while providing a fresh new twist to some classic Japanese dishes. Overall, I can't recommend this place enough. The food is well prepared with a thoughtful twist that will leave you wanting to come back again and again.
I saw a video on Instagram and decided to try it. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile, customer service was amazing. Ambience was clean, nice and warming. I got the chicken & shrimp dumplings with salmon roe on top, absolutely 💯 😋. I also got the beef soap with mushrooms, seaweed and other yummy add-ons. The only negative was the beef strips, it was oily and I couldn't eat all. But other then that it was a good meal. Would recommend and go again.
It's okay. Average. Just your average ramen shop with a pricey egg add on. It's not bad. Not unique. Nothing jumps out as negative nor positive. It's so average I don't have much to say. It's also very small portions. The karaage (Japanese style fried chicken) is not that good at all. I make better karaage at home. Skip the fried chicken. Service is fine.
We came on a Saturday night. Not busy and no reservations required. This place is BYOB beer/wine/liquor. The service was good. We ordered the lychee sour mocktails (perfect with tequila), fukurou wings (too cold and crunchy), pork ramen (very delicious and flavorful), and the spicy salmon ramen (too spicy and the salmon was not fresh). The shrimp tempura was cold, stale and too much breading. The relaxed ambience had a very chill vibe. However, I will not eat here again and I would not recommend.
The food is not bad, their appetizer wings are really good. The gyozas were a small portion (4) and small but good nonetheless. The ramen is rather basic. The real issue is that my best friend and I were seated at a bench table on the left side of the restaurant. I saw a roach climb up the bench seat after we ordered; I had to grab a tissue to get rid of it. The server came over, acknowledged the roach, took the mushed tissue from me and shared they have an ongoing infestation where they seated us, second to last table before the door on the left… (where the infestation was) They didn’t offer to move us nor comp anything off our tab, but we did not make a fuss, paid and left. It just left a terrible taste in our mouth. They also have this giant Christmas tree RIGHT in front of the door blocking the view of people entering/leaving and the server/hostess can’t see customers to seat them, not to mention how it is also a huge fire hazard.
