Crown Fried Chicken and Pizza Albany Reviews
I went to the location in the crossgates Mall. Their food is incredible. The service was really good the guy running the counter was very polite.
Crown Fried Chicken & Pizza is an amazing place! The owner, Tanveer Bhai, is incredibly friendly and always takes great care of his customers. You truly feel welcomed every time you visit. They serve delicious halal food, including crispy fried chicken, flavorful kababs, tasty biryani, and much more. Everything is fresh and full of flavor. If you’re nearby, definitely stop in and give Tanveer Bhai and his restaurant a chance—you won’t be disappointed!
Great food and great prices - even when dining in there isn't a crazy long wait time
Best place clean and very tasty 😋 love it if u r in albany. You must visit this place .
When I was younger, my parents use to bring chicken from this spot. The tasty chicken sandwiches and delicious chicken wings. Now I’m 29! No matter what day it is, this spot STILL hits! Thank you.
I usually stop here and get a beef Pattie, chicken thigh or cheeseburger special and it’s affordable and fills me up . I can’t complain. I knew of crown fried from nyc and they got one in albany . Good stuff
It's a hole in the wall near the Fuze Box, has really basic foods, but a huge menu. I really loved going here for lunch on the daily. The people are super friendly and I was always happy with my meals. It's not fine dining, it's like cafeteria style, easy, affordable, etc. Is a good spot to stop for a bite at a good price.
It’s all about that fried chicken! Fried, hot, zinger, whatever your jam. Also, really exceptional Indian fare. The vegetable samosa was authentically great. The lamb over rice plate equally superb. *keep an eye on your surroundings, use caution in area.
I love this place and I'm a repeat loyal customer. Each time I visit, I order ahead for buying fresh halal seekh kebabs in bulk to freeze for easy meals! I haven't found another place that prepares them so fast, they are delicious, a great meal idea and fantastic value for money. MUST TRY!
They have one of the best cashier's ever. She was new but definitely was professional. The food was amazing. The cooks made my chicken breast better than when I cook myself. The prices were affordable. Great service y'all!!!
One of the best chicken fries in town. Staff are so nice and friendly. You can dine in with social distancing but I did not see anybody there. Looks like customers only ordered ahead and pickup. It's a halal fast food restaurant with reasonable price and tasty food. You can also find pizza, shrimp and salad in the menu.
Okay food. Their fried chicken is good. The man who takes the orders is funny and very cool! Great ambience for their customers. Edit: Bring back all the items you use to sell. The food is still delicious, but very limited. What happened?
Their kabab taste great... but you can see live cockroaches behind the counter. The whole area smells like weed (i understand its beyond their control)
This place used to be amazing. I moved away around 2-ish years ago, but recently moved back to the area. I dont know what changed, if the place is under new management or they fired their cooks, or they changed their recipes or what, but the place just isn't the same anymore. Used to get chicken and rice all the time. I'd order several of them, and pack them up for the week. It was amazing and I'd go out of my way to get it. I dont know what they changed since I was gone but the new recipe is a massive disappointment. What little flavor is there, is nothing like how it used to taste. I'd take any review of this place more than a year or so old with a grain of salt.
Yeah, I ordered the food Friday evening for burger and french fries so I know 10 years but I’m saying this food was very bad. I got sick make sure please very very bad food no test everything is so bad disgusting please don’t go over there no more thank you so much
Ate the fried chicken before smelling the AMMONIA. Got sick, of course. 0 stars.
Jack of all trades, master of none. You should always be weary of a restaurant with too many items, this is a perfect example. Their main item chicken is totally sub-par. Prices are okay but that's about it. I have tried this place a few times and the fried chiken breast is ALWAYS overchooked; chewy, almost mealy in the main part, in other words not tender. The macaroni salad was way too sweet, the macaroni overcooked, pasty mouth feel. If your main thing is chicken don't mess it up seriously. On a side note the guy tried to over charged me 3 dollars. When I asked him to break down the bill for me it went from 13.50 to 10.50 without removing any items. Please don't support these people, they are mediocre and don't deserve your money.
This is an extremely disgusting place. Aside from very poor manners of the counter staff the ground meat chicken kebabs are gross. They will give you a parasitic infection I had to sit in the toilet for hours after eating their so called naan kebabs. Please don't go eat there not worth it at all.
