Love this place! A great ambiance, family friendly, and the food is BOMB. My favorite dishes are the shishito peppers (you HAVE to try both options). The tacos are on point, jerk chicken is a must, their wings are so crispy…and it’s hard to find wings done well these days. I really can’t say enough good things about 605. Next time you’re in for some good local eats (or you’re stopping by ALB), go check it out!

I've been here 6-7 times since they've opened. Between my boyfriend and I, we've tried a good amount of the menu, and every single thing we've had has been delicious. It is our go-to for a dinner out, or someplace to grab a drink & appetizer and watch a game.

In so many ways, Restaurant 605 invites us back into community. As we reimerge from the isolation of the global pandemic, many of us are seeking social (re)connection and a deeper sense of place. This is a great little neighborhood spot, a lively place to gather with friends and fellow fans to watch a game. There are ties to Albany's history with vintage prints of breweries and the signed jersey of homegrown Superbowl champion Dion Lewis. I was struck by the layering of elements that foster feelings of belonging, including the welcoming hostess and the cheerfully attentive server. The menu represents our global community with it's rich diversity of influences, inclusiveness of vegans, and the incredible explosions of flavors. I look forward to coming back to my new local favorite the next time I am in town.

This was much better than my last experience here. I was not a fan of the idea of giving this place another chance but I am glad I did. The drinks were great and the atmosphere was fun. The staff was much more friendly. I had the garlic parmesan wings and they did not disappoint.

Located right across from St. Pete's, Restaurant 605 is a newly renovated, family-owned restaurant/bar that is focused on scratch-made "globally-inspired" fare. You'll also find American-style burgers and fries with the bonus that the chef is focused on quality. The specials yesterday were homemade empanadas with chimichurri sauce and a "city style" chopped cheese hoagie (ground beef, American cheese, caramelized onions, lettuce and tomato). We ordered both of those options, baked buffalo honey garlic wings and a side of sweet potato fries. Everything was literally perfect. The empanada was the real deal - not a hint of grease and packed with flavor. I don't eat much beef, but that hoagie was beyond excellent. Regular and sweet potato fries rocked. They provided some honey mustard and Carolina sauce for dipping; I absolutely loved the Carolina sauce. Wings were slightly spicy with a hint of sweetness and the blue cheese dressing was just right. We learned that even the sauces/dips/dressings are homemade. While I desperately tried to finish everything, we ultimately needed a to-go box. There's a great selection of tap beers, cocktails and wine. Staff/owners are super friendly, pleasant and professional. Decor is open, clean and comfortable. There are lots of TV's for viewing sports while enjoying some really good food and choice bevs. Bravo Restaurant 605! I wish them tremendous success and I plan to be back.

I was just passing through and looking for a quick place to get a beer. I ended up getting a few and the prime rib dip. Everything was amazing and the service was exceptional; Halsey was an amazing bartender. Literally 10 out of 10 for food and service if I lived in the area I’d be back tomorrow.

Found my new favorite spot at 605. Food was on point, burgers were giant and the staff were so friendly and attentive. Thanks to Halsey at the bar my drink was always full! Will be back!

This is a MUST GO to restaurant for any person who wants to impress a visitor to the area or just wants a night out anytime to enjoy delicious, beautifully prepared, dishes by the notable chef Gabe. And everyone needs the experience you'll have when trying the expertly made, creative drinks presented to you by the gorgeous and personable, always smiling mixologist, Halsey. When anyone comes through the front door of Restaurant 605 there is a sophistication and consistency a patron can count on and an energy that is inviting. Your money and your time will definitely be well spent and your first time will never be your last!! GO!!

Visiting from Charlotte and friends took us. This place has excellent food, atmosphere and cocktails. Tables are not on top of each other so you can hear a normal conversation. Service was spot on we were attended to on a regular basis as we hung out after eating. Really pleasant experience

The food and the service were top notch. Halsey was so friendly and attentive and very welcoming! We also met the cook/owner (who we didn't know was the owner until we saw the picture on the website), but he definitely was proud of his creations and so friendly! We had the special; potato soup, greek salad with ahi tuna and smash burger with fries. ALL of it was fantastic! I loved my reek salad and the ahi tuna was cooked to perfection! My husband's burger was one of the best with crispy edges and bacon and the fries also crispy and perfectly seasoned! We'll be back!!

Mouth-watering and thoughtful menu with creative, nuanced and seasonal inspirations for both food and beverage options. I was very impressed by the shishito peppers, general tso’s chicken bites, french dip and the espresso martini. The apps were perfectly battered, crispy and flavorful. The French dip just hit so right- tender meat, savory au jus, warm, perfectly toasted bread. The fries were perfect- exactly what you’d imagine if you are craving fries! And the highlight of our entire night was our bartender Halsey. Her genuine care in curating our experience cannot be matched. She made great suggestions, interjected with playful humor, read when our group wanted time to chat amongst ourselves, and made a PHENOMENAL cocktail. I mean, the most serious espresso martini anyone could hope for without the overstated hipster flair. 10/10. Would go back just for her. Watching her interact with her other bar guests was also a treat- it’s easy to see how she can command the room & keeps a mighty fine bar! Will certainly be back!

I stopped here on my way home to NJ from The Berkshires. I am not exaggerating when I say this is the best meal I have had out in years. The Ahi nachos were amazing and the two friends I were with said their burgers were legitimately the best burgers they have ever had. I would drive an hour out of my way any time just to dine here again. The service was beyond impeccable, everyone from the waitstaff and management go out of their way to make you feel at home. Go here to eat. If you don't, you're an idiot.

This is our go to restaurant. I can always count on great service and also the best food with the freshest ingredients! We have tried several items and are never disappointed.

Place was clean with great vibe and atmosphere. The wings we had were in the top 3 I've ever had. The menu was robust and selection great. Something for everyone. What's interesting is that they created their own spin on classics and all we had was spectacular. Definitely will become a frequent patron.

Excellent food and it always comes out so quick. Their burgers are ridiculously tasty, and huge considering they're smash burgers! Great price for what you get, too. Haven't had anything I didn't like yet. Oh, and their BREAD😍 the sandwiches come on delicious herb-baked bread that's big and fluffy. My favorite so far is the Cory, but the Americano is smack too. You really can't go wrong eating here.

Unbelievably fantastic food! Weekly specials that Chef Gabe comes up with are out of this world. Amazing tacos, one of the best french dips, very flavorful jamaican jerk sandwich. The tuna nachos are also amazing!. There is hardly anything on the menu I do not like. Definitely one of the best restauraunts in the area.

Didn’t expect the food and drinks to be that good. Seriously making me think about the next time I come back to Albany! We ordered like 5 dishes and they were ALL amazing. The prime rib sandwich with the French dip. Wow. Great old fashions and espresso martinis!

What a great place! Great food & a very nice, clean environment. Service was FANTASTIC. I really loved the shishito peppers and the bread my sandwich was served on. Will definitely be back. Wish we lived closer so I could eat here more often. Parking is on the street. That’s the only downfall.

What a spot! This is my wife and I go to date night spot, Saturday lunch spot, and even take our kids out for a great meal spot. We have been here numerous times now and have not ever been let down. The food is hands down the best in the capital region and trust me, we frequent many of places. From the incredible calamari and tuna nqchos to the NYC style smash burgers that will knock your socks off and the gourmet cheesesteaks will have you drooling at every minute of your meal. Not to mention we had their steaks on a couple occasions and they will beat any top steak house in the area hands down. We are so happy this place exists in our lives!!! We always look forward to coming here!! See you soon!!!! Ps. The awesome bartender/server makes excellent old fashioned and margaritas!!!! Do not sleep on this place!

My wife and I went with another couple on NYE. So glad we tried this spot. We started with the Focaccia con Prosciutto and the Beef Empanada. Really good. Probably the best Empanada I ever had. Our Entrees were the 605 Burger, the Cheddar Bacon Smokehouse Burger and 2 ordered the Honey Cajun Ranch Fried Chicken. We were all very pleased with our meals and will 100% return for another go around. Parking is on the street which could be a little bit of a pain but we found spots close with no problem.

Having lived in the neighborhood of the 605 for many years it was a relief to see the the new owners painstakingly invest great time, energy, and money into transforming what was the blight of the neighborhood into a most most impressive new eatery. We ate there last Saturday to shear delight. The food was unique, fresh and delicious. The staff and owners were friendly, cordial and most hospitable. We would definitely encourage anyone reading this review to put down your phone and scoot over to the 605 and see for yourself before word gets out and you have to wait in a line down New Scotland Avenue. You won’t be sorry.

Best food in the Capital Region. Globally inspired menu with an even more inspired chef. High quality ingredients, serving up an even better atmosphere. High end sports bar, serving up specialty cocktails to pair with smash burgers, prime rib subs, and specials to die for. Best place to catch a game, have a family dinner, or just grab a pint. What I love about 605 is that I can order a luscious, dry aged tomahawk steak one night to an order of fries and baked honey buffalo garlic wings. From empeñadas to ahí tuna nacho, this is a can't miss! Side note: If Chef “Greeny” Greenspan likes it, so do I!

Love what they've done with the place. Been 3 times and had excellent meals each time. Love the shishito peppers (sauteed) and the ahi tuna nachos. The bacon cheeseburger is my favorite one in Albany. The French Dip was also fantastic. Lovely staff and hostess... nice family run place. Highly recommended!!!

The food was amazing!!!!! The 605 smash burger was top notch. ( I got mine without the bacon) I have tried many burgers before, but this restaurant tops even my favorite burger place called The Shake Shack. Definitely going back again. I celebrated my birthday there with the family and they all enjoyed their food as well. If you want reservation the most they can fit at their low table is between 8-10 people, but the have high seating too and nice booths.. The staff were very nice and knowledgeable of the menu. The place was clean. I hope nothing, but success for this business. I will be back! Keep it up! Only con: hope they give more options for a kids menu and drinks.

Amazing! A must! This casual dining restaurant has something for everyone. I had 605 burger: the dish was to die for and it was a generous portion, served piping hot! My husband and I wanted to try out a new spot for dinner. Little did we know that we were going to find our new favorite restaurant! Our meal was so perfect. I really have nothing but praises for our appetizers, entree and drinks. Not only was the food amazing but so was the service. A wonderful attentive staff and we also got to chat with the chef. He clearly cared and put a lot of thought into what he creates. The menu is great! Thank you Restaurant 605 for such a great night! We will be back soon

The food here is outstanding - like *really* outstanding. It’s great to have a pace like this in the neighborhood. We’ve been about 5 times since they opened. We’d go more often but there are 2 downsides that stop us. The acoustics are not good - the place is really loud with cacophonous crowd noise. But this is fixable with proper acoustical treatment - well placed noise dampening panels/wood on the ceiling and walls, and some rugs on the floor would go a long way. The other thing is all the TVs. Good lord with the huge screens visually screaming at you as you try to eat, not sure why restaurants think this is a good idea. I totally understand it on a Sunday afternoon during football season, but in a place with food of this high quality it makes little sense to me to have TVs blaring sports games on a Friday evening when I want to enjoy a relaxing dinner. I think 605 is stuck between wanting to be a sports bar and quality restaurant serving well crafted food and the 2 don’t work well together in this space. My point here is to provide constructive feedback - I’m still giving it 5 stars based on the food - hoping to improve what has potential to be a tremendous neighborhood restaurant.

I’m late writing this. Quite a few days ago, I went to this restaurant with my wife and I had a bacon cheeseburger. It came with french fries. I had to tell the young lady who waited on me that whoever cooked this did a fantastic job. She stated that it was her fiancé and I said well tell your fiancé he is totally awesome, hopefully will get to go back there soon. I truly enjoyed myself. The food was great.

Hands down my most favorite bar in Albany. The staff are super friendly. You’re greeted with a warm welcome as soon as you step in the building. And speaking of the building, the place is aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. The bar has a nice setup with lots of different liquors and beers to choose from. Lots of TVs on different sports channels, which provides variety, depending on what sport you’re into. And not to mention the FOOD! God bless the chef. Since December 2022 I’ve been going and the food is always delicious. My personal favorite is the 605 burger, but trust me when I say do not limit yourself to just one thing on the menu. Treat your tastebuds right and impress your family and friends with a visit to Restaurant 605! 🤌🏾🤌🏾🤌🏾

I called Restaurant 605 last week for take out. Best call I’ve made in a long time. I arrived for pick up, and the place was hopping. Folks at tables and at the bar all chatting in this chic neighborhood eatery. I was warmly greeted, and then instructed to go to the bar to pick up the food and settle the bill. Bartender was nice, and my food was ready to go and well packaged. We ordered 4 meals. I got a chicken Caesar salad. The romaine was crisp, and the chicken was perfectly grilled. Tasty Caesar dressing as well. Croutons had a good snap. My son got a 605 burger, double. He said it was the best burger he’s ever had. It was done perfectly and served on a tasty bun. The fries were awesome too. Other son got a Vietnamese vegan wrap. He loved it. My wife got the Tuscany sandwich with sweet potato fries. She said it was delicious, and the fries were perfect. Total for the meal was $69.00, plus a tip. 5/5 would go back. Great food from a friendly neighborhood restaurant.

This little place is a gem! I stopped by on this fine Sunday and I ordered the Jerk Chicken Sandwich which came with fries and both were excellent! They had many TV's with every football game on a different TV and the bartender/waitress was on point. I really like the building/atmosphere and my food came out super fast. I will definitely be going back and I highly recommend this place.

SO thankful to have this gem of a restaurant in our neighborhood. This place really does not miss, there has yet to be a meal we have ordered that wasn’t delicious (and for perspective we’ve been here 15+ times). It’s become our (and our friends) go-to spot when we want to go out to dinner. Service is always great whether you’re at the bar or a table and the food is awesome with a full variety menu and weekly specials that don’t disappoint.

Very nice smaller restaurant and bar with great food the prices are a little high for the amount of food but the quality makes it almost worth it... They have exceptional smash burgers and amazing buffalo calamari but unfortunately the appetizers are nearly all higher yhen 15 dollars each and the burgers are 20... the staff is very fun and vibrant not to mention kind if money's no object then you'll love the food here

Simply loved the way Tom took care of me and my girlfriend. We went to dinner about a week and a half ago, and the experience was so tremendous that I felt compelled to leave a review even after some time had passed. The service was excellent, his attitude was outstanding, and it’s the kind of experience that makes you want to keep coming back. I highly recommend this place. The food was amazing, but honestly, it’s all about the service. Great food means nothing if the service is bad—but on this night, Tom elevated everything and made the entire meal even better. Huge credit to the chef as well, but Tom’s service truly made the night unforgettable.

My wife and I visited this restaurant because we heard their burgers were great. The service and the atmosphere were great, the owner comes around to each table to ask how everything was. I have to say I was impressed, and burgers lived up to the hype. I had the double wage cheese burger and it was amazing!!! We are definitely coming back, it was a great night.

Restaurant 605 quickly became our go-to spot — whether it’s a cozy date night or a quick bite when we can’t decide what we’re craving (because they have everything and it’s all amazing). The food is consistently flavorful, creative, and made with care — but what really sets 605 apart are the people. The owners are incredible; warm, welcoming, and truly passionate about what they’ve built. I had the honor of photographing their 3-year anniversary celebration, and it was clear: this isn’t just a restaurant, it’s a community. The moment you walk in, you’re treated like family. And once you’re part of the 605 family… you won’t want to leave.

We stopped in early 530 ish, only a few other patrons. The hostess asked if we'd like a booth, which we always enjoy in such a large open space. We each ordered a different smash burger. Mine included bacon, onion jam,and blue cheese. The burger was perfect with crispy edges, thick cut bacon tasty, the blue cheese was flavor forward but, but I love it. Fries crispy and hot, only needed a bit of pepper for me. We will be back for more great burgers. Price wise I never mind paying for a GREAT burger. This meets my high bar.

A friend and I grabbed some apps to share for dinner. Good serving size. Very good flavor. Chef was willing to sub out some ingredients. Service was good! Nice and clean environment. Music was a little loud... but all good. Update- visit again yesterday with my kids. They're not super picky but they're kids... it can be hit or miss. They loved it! Especially the General Tso's chicken.

One of my favorite spots to eat! The curated menu doesn’t have a single dish that would disappoint. Great atmosphere that fuses classy with a hometown feel. It’s a place you could bring a date for an intimate meal or meet friends to watch the game. With so much going for this place, it’s no surprise that if you show up without a reservation you may have a more than reasonable wait to get a table. The wait won’t feel long because one of the owners greets every customer like she is welcoming you into her home. You may even get a hug! My clothing or salary have never been a problem here for me or any of my family and friends I’ve brought and will continue to bring.

Quite the hidden gem Restaurant 605 is. Close to St. Peters hospital and downtown Albany definitely a spot to try out. From outside the looks are not impressive but once inside, one realizes they made a good choice. A spacious modern cozy & contemporary setting you will find. It was difficult to choose what to eat because it all sounded good. I was more than pleased w/ my selection and the service here.

Each time I dine at 605 restaurant, I am consistently impressed by the exceptional food and service. The chef truly performs miracles in the kitchen, creating dishes that are bursting with flavor and expertly prepared(40oz Steak). Corey’s cocktails are also a highlight. The service is always top-notch, making for a truly enjoyable evening. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a dining experience that is both delicious and delightful.

I've only ever gotten takeout here. And I have gotten take out a couple of times, because the food is very good. But, when going to pick up my order, each time, I've been knocked out by how loud and chaotic the atmosphere is. The dining room is not huge, and it has a seemingly disproportionate number of video monitors, some with the volume on, broadcasting Sports. At the same time, there is even still louder dance music on the overhead speakers. All of this in an environment with no acoustic controls whatsoever.

Great stop for imaginative casual dining. Fish tacos were excellent with good slaw. The Cory sandwich on ciabatta was also very. Our queso chorizo dip was also very good.

Food tasted really good. However, the service wait was super long; which is understandable when it comes to being seated without reservations. But after being seated, it took nearly another hour for the entrees. Another small complain: get actual plates please. See the picture to see what I mean. That’s too much food to fit in a metal wire basket that should only have the fries. The mocktail was pretty good too.

Great little local place. Very accommodating. Good food, friendly service. Definitely a sports bar atmosphere so don't expect a quiet intimate dinner

Elevated sports bar. Visited during very busy hour, so there was a bit of wait even for bar. (~20mins) There's credit card fee, discounted if paid in cash.

After trying 605 Smash, I knew I had to check out Restaurant 605. The ambiance was exactly what you'd want in a cozy, pub-style spot—inviting, laid-back, and full of character. The waitress who helped us was super sweet, kind, and patient. We started with the Italian Garbage Bread, and wow—it was so delicious! Perfectly seasoned, cheesy, and crispy. All of my friends loved it. For my main, I went with the Double Don Marco Bacon Bleu 605 Signature Cheeseburger, loaded with Applewood bacon, bleu cheese, balsamic onion jam, garlic aioli, and mixed greens. It was incredibly flavorful, juicy, and perfectly balanced. The double patty was just the right size—thick and satisfying without being overwhelming. One of my friends ordered the triple and quickly regretted not sticking with the double, but hey, if you think you can handle it, go for it! My friends who ordered the Grilled Jamaican Jerk Chicken, Cheddar Bacon Smokehouse, and Chicken Parm Sandwich were all thrilled with their meals. The fries? Also on point. I’d definitely visit Restaurant 605 again—great food, great service, and a laidback atmosphere that makes you want to come back for more!

We went in at 5:30 pm on Saturday and it was already packed we had to wait for a while. They don't take reservations unless it's a big group so you may want to avoid busy hours. The servers were nice and food came relatively fast. We had smash burgers and fried chicken sandwich. My husband really liked his burger but I thought mine was just ok. It's totally personal preference l would say. For casual dining this is ok place.

The food was good and the service was great. The noise level, though, is almost unbearable. We had to practically scream to hold a conversation...exhausting.

The food and service was great. The price was above the price point for a small low-key no-frizzles bar.

The burger and fries were really wonderful. The burger was cooked perfectly, and you could taste the care coming from the kitchen. It was the afternoon, so I can’t comment on noise levels. The beer was overpriced in my opinion. The service, while competent, was about as personable as a bag of lawn clippings. As the ‘face’ of the establishment, a bit of social engagement and repartee with the clientele seems appropriate. Not asking for a song and dance, but a “Hey, how are you doing today”?, with an attempt at a smile goes a long way in the service industry especially with people who aren’t ‘regulars’. The rest of the menu looked interesting, but I likely won’t return.

I went with 2 friends. When we arrived floor was sticky. Not so many options outside burger and sandwich. Only the steak which was much smaller than the picture , meat was curiously soft and untasted , salad was not fresh and fries were greasy. We paid $125 (without tip) for a burger and 2 steaks! At a sport bar ! I’m adding 2 stars and not 1 because the owner was friendly and welcoming.

Gonna need to do better if you want to be a restaurant. If you want to be a neighborhood bar, ok. Beer selection is seriously lacking. This location should have an abundance of craft and IPA beers...but none! We brought a child and ordered her mac and cheese. which was way spicy and she couldn't eat it. Bill came before we were done, queso came with a few pita chips(not tortilla chips), and the chorizo tacos were the smallest I have ever encountered and they fell apart when picked up. Too bad cause it's a nice space.

The food is really good! It’s too bad they don’t offer takeout on the weekends. Are you guys that busy? Response to owner: I tried to place a takeout order this past Saturday and Sunday. Both days I was told you’re not accepting to-go orders. I’m happy to hear your restaurant is doing so well that the small kitchen is too busy for takeout. However, I work at SPH and can see how busy you are and your rationale just doesn’t make sense because your place was empty. To further my frustration, one of my colleagues successfully placed an order for pickup on Sunday but minutes later when I called with several more orders you were no longer accepting. I wish you nothing but success and am happy that you don’t need business from takeout orders - Best of luck!

During my travels through Albany, I had a craving for a smash burger and decided to stop at 605 SmashBurgers. Upon reviewing the menu, I noticed they offered crispy rice with tuna, so I chose to order that alongside a smash burger. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the crispy rice. It was overcooked and had a stale taste, suggesting it may have been prepared a couple of days prior. The tuna was lacking in flavor, appeared dry, and did not seem fresh. In hindsight, I would recommend sticking to the burgers and fries when craving a meal at this establishment. The burger itself was quite good, though it doesn’t quite compare to the smash burgers available in New York City. As for returning, I’m not certain that I would make another visit.

The reason why I don’t give this restaurant a 1 star is because the food is good but the service is horrible. First time my friends and I ever went we waited on our food for an hour and a half. Meanwhile there are other groups who came in after us and still got served first. When my boyfriend asked about any updates on our food. The waitress was very rude and gave attitude saying there were only two chefs. I tried calling to place a takeout order on a Friday night after work and they told me they can’t do that because they were busy in the restaurant and they only have two chefs and was also told that the people who are dining in come first. She said that I should have called earlier as they were now too busy. How am I supposed to know that?? Another time when I tried placing a takeout order I wanted to have no bacon on a burger because my boyfriend has a sensitivity to pork. The woman on the phone said “oh I guess we can do that but the chefs aren’t going to like that.” So I guess they don’t care about allergies either. Don’t bother trying to order ahead either cause the chefs don’t like that as well, according to the lady on the phone. So I don’t intend on eating there for a while unless they step up their game and hire more staff cause this is ridiculous.

No kids menu. They clearly don’t want kids there and it felt uncomfortable. We left before the food came.

I honestly will never step foot in the door here again, I have been coming here for quite some time (Andy’s days). The bartender with the dark hair is extremely rude and talks back to customers girl is a nuisance to the business and their customers. Service has definitely plummeted. Atmosphere is totally off

My sisters and I saw the reviews, we decided to give the restaurant a try. Two tables were empty; strangely enough, the hostess was “unable” to find any available. My sisters and I’s salaries combined very well surpasses 350k a year, maybe we did not “look the part.”Nonetheless, we will not step foot back into this restaurant again. Thank you for the experience, or lack thereof.

Walked in on a weekday to finally try this place in hopes to grab a quick bite to eat on the way home. Only a handful of people were sitting at the bar and the bartender took a while to greet us. When we were only given drink menus he disappeared for 15 minutes. When he finally returned we asked for food menus immediately after ordering our drinks. He answered with “kitchen closes at 8:45” and asked if we wanted to just leave. I checked my time and it said 8:50.. We got there a little after 8:30 (we weren’t aware kitchen closes at 9 until I checked the website later, Google just said 11pm). So we of course went elsewhere. I hate giving out bad reviews to small business, but as a full time bartender myself, that was disappointing.

Just a basic Chicken Sandwich with coleslaw. With no flavor French fries with no salt. Wings were one step from being overcooked. My personal opinion sucked

J
Jarrade Nieber

The bartender told my friend with a Gluten Allergy that if she ordered the turkey burger plain, he couldn't guarantee it would come that way. For an $18 meal, that is ludicrous. She then ordered queso with tortilla, for the side with her new choice. Not until we received it. Did we realize, they are flour tortillas. Which the server knew she couldn't order. Restaurants are part of the service industry and taking care of the customers should be paramount. Do better! Show some care!

Food is amazing and we’ve loved coming here for lunch but we came here for date night on a Sunday night and arrived around 9:30, with knowing they close at 11 we weren’t gonna stay any later and wanted to come enjoy drinks on a Sunday evening, coming to the bar the place was quite and we loved our drinks, however after not being here for an hour and 3 drinks served to the two of us the blonde bartender brought us the check without asking if we needed anything else or would like anything else. I asked and mentioned I knew she brought us the check if I could have one more drink and she said “we’re done”. Completely unprofessional and rude, will not be back. Didn’t even get to spend an hour in the establishment before we were basically told to leave. Why have an 11 pm closing time if you stop serving customers at 10 pm? Completely unprofessional and rude like I’ve said before. This is truly the reason why we will not be back.

Ran out of food on a Saturday night. You suck Update on my review….VERY DISTURBING…. I got a call from the owner this morning about my review. She was yelling at me because I said they ran out of food and you suck. That was all I said. What is disturbing is that the owner called me, and I feel that you’re allowed to post anything you want on a review. Especially, if you feel the service was in adequate. What is disturbing is how she get my phone number to call me. I didn’t even use my cc,, so there was no way to obtain my cell phone number. And even if I did, I don’t think your cell phone appears on your credit card transactions. She had to go through extremes to find my cell phone number only to yell at me on the phone. If she concentrated on having enough food in the restaurant, and not spending so much time looking at her reviews, maybe they would’ve had food in the kitchen. Totally.unbelievable!! Yikes! Never going back there! 😶😶 OMG!! Did you erase all of your horrible reviews? I saw soooo many when I first wrote mine in the fall. You are not fooling anyone. Your service is absolutely horrible. I came back in there a couple weeks ago. Apparently, you didn't notice. Again, you ran out of food. Not everything like you did back in the fall when I was there. But, many items on the menu were not available. When I think back to my first experience and you calling me on the phone to SCREAM at me I should've known it wasn't going to be any different. Instead of calling me (again on my cell in which you had no business in calling, and how did you get my number). At that time, you should have apologized and offered me a free meal (at another time) for making me go to a farther restaurant from my home. I had to pay an Uber for your lack of food....running out at 8:30 p.m. on a Saturday night. Instead you called me the next day screaming at me for the bad review. Totally unprofessional. Who does this? NOBODY with any business sense. I wouldn't doubt your business won't last that long. Everything is extremely overpriced. Why don't you put those bad reviews back on your page. Quit deceiving people....

I’ve come to this restaurant 3 times and the first two times were okay. Today I went around 1:30pm the chicken bites were under seasoned and multiple other items were just not good. the calamari was tough and chewy, We took two bites and took everything else to go but calamari when asked “you don’t want this?” I said no it wasn’t not good today, it was tough. The response we got was “hmmm”. The customer service was poor. My only guess is quality is not the same at lunch times as it is for dinner but this whole experience ensured I will not be back

This restaurant had potential until it didn’t. If you want to be watched over 24/7 & to be treated like an adolescent, this is the place! Customer service, or should I say lack thereof, was beyond unacceptable. If a customer orders something & the product or item was not received. Why should they be charged? The manager & waiter Kris (Dark haired with glasses) took it upon themselves to fulfill their duty of beyond mid service & fully express how terrible at customer service they are. Never in life have I ever been disrespected and belittled like this at an establishment. Unprofessional business. xoxo!

I was siting eating when i noticed a woman walking in with a very small service dog. The "owner" susan ran to the door to make sure they didn't get in. Overhearing the owner say we have people in here who are fearful you can't come in. Mind you the bar/ restaurant had like 8 people in it. The woman with the service dog stated it is illegal for susan to do what she is doing and started to leave as well as stated she will report the restaurant. Susan started following the woman out the door saying why would you do that. In any event, i will not be supporting such a business and i will share what i had seen! ALSO THEY INCLUDE A SERVICE TIP FEE.

They will literally tell you that they can give you a chair on a corner to wait for your ride if you are done eating so they can give your table to soneone else after only spending one hour there. PS: no one was standing and there were free tables.Had to speak up and refuse to wait for my Uber 5 more minutes on my table. I was not from Albany and no one told me it is only card or cash until I finished eating. After explaining the situation to the manager she cut me off by raising her voice at me and just kept saying “NO, NO, NO!”until I insisted for her to let me finish my sentence and tell her that I have the card info on my phone she can manually type it on the POS. For her to then say “okay, I’ll try!”. If you are not from Albany don’t you dare not know that restaurants don’t take Apple Pay in this place. Service could be better. The server was nice but the manager has attitude issues. Update: Their answer should tell anyone about how they treat customers. 10% tips was only by goodwill and courtesy seeing how your manager shouted at me, because tipping should reflect customer satisfactionon service received. Tipping is also not mandatory by the way. Oh it is 2025! Businesses should be run by younger managers, they understand better how the world is developing. They know that payment methods should be flexible and that Apple Pay only makes a business more flexible and makes customer experience easier.
