Tacos El Autlense Truck Albany Reviews
I am impressed with the flavor of their sauces and the tacos as well. I have the driven by this place for more than fifteen years and never thought about stopping by. Last weekend, I went to the bar next to it. And my family order tacos, I had one single bite of a taco and I could taste the great flavor. Unfortunately, they closed by the time I wanted to get more tacos that night. I decided to come back 3 days later and Yes. The tacos are great.
Absolutely love Tacos El Autlense. Been coming here with my family for the last 8 years!!! The burritos are amazing and the tacos as well, just make sure to get it not spicy if you can’t handle spice that well. They are my go-to burrito place even though I live around 20 min away. The ladies that work there are always super nice as well!
Don’t let too many people find this spot because they have the best meats in town! One of the few places where their tripas are masterfully done. Tip big because they deserve it.
The best mex in berkeley area. The food is really amazing and people super nice and polite. Carnitas is my fav meat here
Easily the best Mexican food in alameda! A true hidden gem in an unassuming location. The carnitas and carne burrito are the best! Super flavorful and high quality meat, not at all like the chewy stuff you’d get at other places. Staff are all super friendly and nice even when it’s very busy. The only thing is there’s no seating unless you plan on also grabbing a drink at the bar. Usually I take it to go so that’s not a concern for me. I will admit it’s gotten pricier lately, but it’s still totally worth it!
The best burrito in the bay. Also amazing tacos. Favorite = chicken burrito since queso sin crema.
Quite literally the best tacos in the entire Bay Area. staff is very nice and knowledgeable. Just wish they weren’t too stingy on the salsas. They charge extra. Otherwise, top tier food!
The best tacos and burritos ever. I've been going to this place for 8 years and the quality has never gone down. The workers are very friendly and nice, they're quick to get your order and give it. Have recommended it to multiple friends who feel the same way. HIGHLY suggest giving them a try and tipping as they really do deserve it and appreciate it.
I’m from LA where good taco spots are easy to come by and this unassuming taco truck has the best tacos I’ve had in the Bay Area hands down! Meat is perfectly cooked and seasoned but the best part is the homemade tortillas. I love it when you can actually taste the corn flavor. Employees are nice and parking wasn’t so hard to come by on a weekend night.

First time here. Ordered 1 taco of Pastor, Cabeza, Carnitas, & Birria. The meat was very tender, juicy, and flavorful. Had green salsa, which had a great flavor and wasn't too spicy. Lots of veggies available as well. Service was quick and polite. There isn't any seating area to eat there. Also parking is very scarce.
# g r a t e f u l I have been to this taco truck next to the bar many times. There are certainly some busy times, but it is always worth the wait. My go-to is the Carnitas burrito, because this is one of the only mexican eateries (I’ve found) which has CRUNCHY carnitas. Their cabeza burrito is also very tasty. Be sure to stop by Tacos El Autlense.
Wow! This place is phenomenal! We just moved to this area and we were sad to leave our favorite food truck and taco spots but this place has lifted our spirits. When I say this place is great I mean it! Whatever they’re doing, they’re doing it right! We tried the torta de asada (highly recommend), asada tacos, and tripa tacos. Everything is was so flavorful. We also had their horchata which was delicious by the way. This is the kind of taco truck you just have to keep coming back to. Here’s a quote from my husband about the torta, “I was so hungry and eating the torta made me hungrier because of how good it tasted. Wow!” The ladies that work the taco truck were kind and you can tell that they care about the quality of their food. If you’re ever near this place I highly suggest you stop by and try their food. You won’t regret it.
That was very first time when I get charged just cause a wanted more spicier burrito then usual. So I charged extra for that and finally I didn’t get spicy enough what I want. I don’t know if I paid extra money for one little cup of salsa? But before that food truck I was getting that cup for free, it goes with order. Never come again.
